The place was easy to locate as it was by the national road. They’ve got a wide garage. The rooms are very spacious. There was no wifi during our time, it needed to be fixed according to them. One of the room’s AC was not that cool enough and the heater wasn’t working. Though the place is not that quite well-maintained. It would be better to upgrade most of the facilities. :)

Sogo is a basic hotel with affordable prices, very friendly and hard staff. The room is relatively clean. It is located in the center, next to the Dau Bus Terminal, and very close to malls, fast food chains, banks, markets, churches, etc. It becomes very busy and it's common for people to wait in the lobby for the room that will be empty. Food can be ordered. One of the main problems is that WiFi is unreliable. Overall, a very good cheap hotel.

Great again shall return if there is a promo like this time. Only drawback was TV did not work the whole time. The hot water came out too well which means it was sometimes hard to get cold or lukewarm water. The native home-cooked Philippino breakfast was quite filling and Burger King / Pizza Hut (both of which accepts credit cards) are nearby solid options for lunch and dinner. Thank you 999

On the plus side, a good breakfast was included, the room was large and the cable TV had a good range of channels. On the downside: the toilet flushed continuously day and night. The power points were different to what I was used to in Manila and when I asked staff if they could assist with adaptors, they could not. No coat hangers in the closet. The safe was broken and looked like it had not been in use for a long time. The aircon kept switching itself off all night until I finally figured out the remote buttons in the middle of the night. There is a jug for boiling water, but no cups. Whenever I asked staff for assistance they were generally disinterested. This place needs a renovation!

Hotel Sogo Mexico

Mexico

I, with my pregnant wife and toddler, booked for an executive room (Japanese-theme at room 104) in Sogo Hotel, Mexico, for 24 hours as an escape during the New Year's Eve. If the price tag in the room is akin to a run-of-the-mill motels, you can never hear any complaint from us. But for a hotel that claims to offer an executive room, it should live up to its promises; unfortunately, not in my family's experience. Let me break down the reasons: 1) Price - I booked my reservation in travelbook.ph with insider's discount but it was not awarded to us. We were charged for a regular fee. 2) Cleanliness - You can easily deduce that the previous occupant smoked cigarette. You can still smell the third-hand smoke up from the ceiling to the bed. It's suffocating to breath at first especially for me who has sensitive nose. 3) Aircon - Sleeping was hard as the noise of the aircon is like a nearby jackhammer, or a motorboat's engine. We were forced to turn it to fan just to silence it at the expense of sweating up. 4) Light - There was no light at the dining area and I called for an assistance twice. No one came to fix the bulb. 5) Security - We left the room to have a dinner and we asked for the concierge to lock the room (we were not given a spare key, that is their policy). However, the concierge was adamant to lock our room and claimed that it was safe even if we left our room open. I insisted on locking our room before leaving and the concierge showed unwillingness to do what I requested. The security guard looks frightening. We're not on to discrimination but you'll understand us if you were in the actual scene. Imagine a silhouette from a bit far. Then up close, he suddenly cut and blocked you and see an image of a drunk man wearing a guard's uniform. Coupled with this, he asked us in an interrogative tone if we were going to leave and asked our hotel room's number. I understand that inquiring is part of his work but at least he should pepper it with a smile or courteous tone. However, his approach caused us to be cynical in giving information especially with the premise that the concierge is unwilling to lock our room. I was about to put out my cellphone to record his hoodlum-like gesture but he suddenly stopped asking us and just radioed the concierge. 6) WiFi - Imagine a crippled turtle that is forced to run. That's how slow the hotel's WiFi in the room is. 7) TV - You cannot find lots of channels to watch on. Thankfully, we brought our own movies. The only thing that we enjoyed above all in the room is its spacious toilet and bathtub as my toddler enjoyed swimming while bathing. But generally, as a family-friendly hotel, you cannot expect it to be ”so clean, so good”. You have been warned.

Amazing! Best place I stayed in the two months I was in the Philippines. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Angeles. Rooms and bed are nice, clean, and comfortable. It is a newer place and looks just like the pictures. The bed even has a fluffy comforter. Staff is great and friendly. It is in the middle of a quiet neighborhood about a 10 minute walk from walking street. Rooms are dark and you don't have to worry about being woken up by the sun, roosters, traffic, or loud guests. Shower has hot water, there is a fridge in the room, and a rustic wooden bench. There is also an outdoor patio area, making it comfortable to just hang out at the hotel if you want, be it inside or out. This was a tremendous value as well, and one of the least expensive rooms I stayed in, and still the best. Definitely felt homier, so great for longer stays. Most of the places in angeles are older, dingier, and a lot more ezpensive. Sorry I forgot to take photos, but they would have looked just like the rest. For some, the bathroom could be bigger or updated, but it was fine for me, especiallly since the place was so great overall. I loved it here.

Stayed in Clark for one night. The location of the hotel is great. It is very close to SM and Bar Street on foot. There is a big supermarket downstairs from the hotel. The breakfast is also pretty good, you can choose your own set meal, there are more than ten kinds. The young lady at the front desk is also very nice. I consulted how to take a bus to Manila, and the young lady helped me print the timetable.

I enjoyed my stay at Pacific Breeze Hotel and would recommended this hotel to other travellers looking for medium priced accommodation. It is situated extremely close to the popular Walking Street where there are numerous bars and clubs. It’s close to restaurants and sports bars and if that’s what you are in Angeles for then you could not be closer. You are also a short walk to the massive SM City Clark Mall, which provides much entertainment and shopping opportunities for the locals and is certainly worth a visit or two. You can also catch the shuttle bus to Manila from the mall, which is very handy. I made use of the hotel gym every day, which is on the roof of the annexed building. It’s a pretty good gym with enough equipment to keep you busy for an hour. It was mostly quiet in there and the kit is in good shape considering the price bracket of the hotel. I also swam daily in the hotel pool and this is a good size and was cleaned each morning. Great restaurant with healthy sized portions, efficient service and reasonably priced food all served by the lovely pool. There are security guards on each block and they not only did a good job looking after the rooms but it was a pleasure to have a little chat with them each day, discuss what’s happening, get travel advice and shoot the breeze. When you leave the hotel you need to hand in your key. Shoot the breeze in Pacific Breeze Hotel! All round the staff were pretty friendly which is very much expected in a country known for its friendliness. The girls on the reception desk were very professional and handled all my inquiries effectively. The one feature that ought to be pointed out is the fact that many rooms do not have a window that faces outside. So my room for instance did have a window but it looks out into the corridor of the ground floor. Now this is odd really and in the future should I ever head back to Angeles City I would happily stay at this hotel again but would request a window facing the outside. I need sunlight, a view, a peek at the weather and having the curtain always drawn felt odd. But all round this is a great hotel. It has a certain energy and character about it that I suppose may be brought about by its location to walking street. One cannot ignore the fact that many guests may be in that area to enjoy the delights of Walking Street and all it has to offer. This does not put me off but adds to the entertainment and character of this hotel. I will stay again if I ever find myself back in the city.

Believe me it was bliss for me that travel became very limited during this pandemic. People are, like, away. Away. So I was fished out of my comfort zone by my husband who wanted to leave our current city -- a city that worships face shields, as if face masks weren't enough to choke us in this heat. We initially booked our flights to Bohol, hotels included. But thanks to the national government's ever-expanding classification of quarantines, we had to cancel that trip. We wanted to still celebrate a week-long birthday out of town so we planned on driving to cities with little or no quarantine restrictions. First stop: Angeles City in Pampanga. Pampanga is a province not in included in the NCR bubble in May 2021. So we didn't need to get tested or quarantined when we got there. We didn't realize looking for a pet-friendly hotel would be so difficult. We found a couple, but landed in Capitol Hill Hotel and Suites. The hotel isn't really inside Clarkfield. One enters the zone from NLEX and exits one of the side gates. You'll pass through what seems to be the former red light district of the old US Military (?) zone, and you'll find Capitol Hill build just outside the residential areas alongside some of the old and new hotels. This one looks new. Squeaky clean. They have ample parking spaces in front and beside the hotel building. With a crate, a couple of bags, and 4 small dogs, were pleased to be led to a room in the second floor. We still had to take several elevator trips to and from the car. I lost count on how many times the doorman held the door for us. The two ladies at the Reception were all smiles all the time. We were handed only one key card. But in all hotels that I've stayed in, I've always made it a rule to get two key cards, in case I leave the other one in the room. The room's about 50 square meters, with a king size bed, TV, and toiletries, a huge window that overlooks where we parked the car, and a see-through bathroom with a tub. Water pressure in the sink and shower were strong. And again, squeaky clean. The toilet flushes well. The entire building has wi-fi. We were provided with enough towels. The closet had two robes, two pairs of slippers, and a safety deposit box. Venture to the rooftop and you'll find the infinity pool, bar, and restaurant. The food is pricey if you're on a budget, but they serve them fast and with utmost concern about your taste. You don't have to take the towels from your room if you want to use the pool; they provide towels for that. I recommend you have dinner at the rooftop by yourself or with a date. The evening view of Clarkfield and the Clark Airport is spectacular. One floor below the rooftop is a small gym with a treadmill, peloton, and a few weights. The next morning, I had to stay in the room to prepare our stuff for our next lap in our tour. The phone rang asking us if we wanted our breakfast in the room or the restaurant at the rooftop. It was 9:30AM already; we said we'd be havi

First: Please note that our stay was During the Covid Pandemic so the hotel was not at full capacity, some amenities such as pool and gym were closed and they only offered a limited dining menu so with that said this is my review Reserving was fairly easy, I opted to directly contact them via Facebook and they did offer me a deal no other portal would provide. With the deal we end up staying 4 nights/5 days. They provided us the one bedroom suite which was fairly big and had a balcony. The place was clean, air con was cool in both room and living space and the bathroom . Internet speed were good but we did have issues with connection from time to time. They did provide toiletries and bottled water. There is also a safe in the closet. The TV provide a good amount of channels Breakfast was delivered to the room. There was no choices but was decent. They did have a spa that opened from 4pm daily and a bbq resto that was actually really good . Parking is plenty and it’s indoor. There are plenty of restaurants in the area as well. Overall their service was exceptional from the rep, Ms K (full name withheld) from reservation , the front desk at check in and check out and room service. The front desk staff are all pleasant and the food at the restaurant next door is very reasonable. A small issue with my reservation as far as staying longer, but it was not a problem with me as I had another option. I stayed in room 204, which faces the main road and the noise was not an issue for me. All in all, this is a place that I would definitely do business with in the future.

For a long time I had heard about Score Birds but I was loyal to another hotel during my frequent visits to this city. This most recent trip that hotel had no available rooms and so I booked at Score Birds. From the moment I arrived I wore a smile on my face. Wonderful front desk staff, super friendly door and bell staff. Very pleasant surroundings and though my room didn't have a window (unavailable at time of booking) I was completely happy with it. Great channel lineup on the TV and despite being only about 75 meters from Walking Street my room was quiet. Nice restaurant on the property, beautiful pool. The absolute BEST thing was the staff. I travel to the U.S. for work as a healthcare provider in the O.R. and spend over 200 nights a year in hotel rooms. I also travel extensively in Asia when not in the U.S. A hotel can be all swank and polish, but if the staff doesn't shine the hotel doesn't shine. Score Birds has a staff that shines. Bright and shiny. I've already booked for another week in June and managed to get an upgraded room. Rooms here are in demand, so book early. Laundry service and airport transfer are available at the hotel. This is now my very most favorite place in Angeles City. It's the staff that make it that way. They are professional, courteous, friendly, politie and right on top of thing. I asked for some extra towels and a couple of extra pillows to prop a sore knee up on. I barely made it back to my room before they were being delivered! No charge either. Unlike a lot of other hotels that charge you ”daily rent” for that extra towel or pillow. I can't shout out enough kudos for this hotel. They (the staff) are doing a fantastic job and this is where I plan to lay my head any time I am in Angeles City from now on.

We stayed in Hamanda hotel over the weekends and we've chosen to book for their Deluxe room which is more spacious than the classic room (which I presume their standard room) -During arrival and finding the hotel (thanks to waze app) we're quite unsure if where's the entrance of Hamanda. Its located beside the Souq restaurant or rather inside the Souq restaurant. I believe this should be indicated on the reservation confirmation as well to avoid confusion. -I did message them on Instagram but I understand that responses might be delayed. Tried reaching out through phone, but it keeps on ringing then that's the time we decided to go inside. -We're immediately assisted once we log in on the log book (not what I expect) I thought they have some front desk or something but we we are assisted by the staff to go inside within the resto vicinity. -Check in was breeze. We were led inside our room and inform about the breakfast and a bit of the house rules. -Breakfast- a bit small for its serving size. my suggestion is they can probably ask first too the guest if they opt for a non pork variant. -Design of the room- I can't complain as well as the pool area. Good use of eco friendly materials and resources. -Aircon inside room 6 is not cooling properly. Kindly check this. -shower- it seems that no hot water is available -NESPRESSO Machine- so cool for you to include but we tried making it and coffee lacks some milk (if you can provide it would be great but otherwise, good job!) -amenities- two toothbrush kits are provided but only one small soap. Make sure to improve this also. -Price- I might say for the design it was okay but for the service it seems that its not reasonable but I believe this would be improved! :) Lastly, I'm missing the hospitality and warmth in service. Hope this could be improved as well! Thank you and hoping to get back and see improvements!

We stayed in Eurotel Hotel everytime we have events/errands in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga because it is accessible to all and it’s across SM City Clark and near the new mall, Clark Cityfront Mall. We will stay here again. 😊

Its worth for the price you paid. A very business friendly hotel where you need to be at the office the whole day and needed a good night sleep after. Its clean. Has toiletries. Staff wer friendly. Almost all food chains available nearby, the hotel serves tapsi breakfast which was a plus. Food deliveries like foodpanda and grab is also available. All in all it was smooth and peaceful. You cannot rate it as a 5star hotel since you did not pay high for it. Worth the price.
