Okay so let's start with the location, perfect, perfect! Restaurants, breakfast, smoothie shop, CVS, even the AMC theater all in walking distance. Damn good burger is a must. The smoothie shop a must! There's a grocery store across the hotel. I mean a second away. There's a dog park and bike rentals across the street. I don't have a dog but I walked the park, really clean. The hotel is clean and I'm OCD about cleanliness!! Very clean, room 202 (2 beds) is ridiculously big. I didn't expect that. Further away from elevator, so very quiet but the hotel was never really loud. You have to ask for towels if your not choosing service during your stay. I was fine with it. Coffee maker, fridge and microwave in the room. Coffee in lobby as well, but make it before 10am or it's just hot water with tea options. Again room was too clean. But 202 had a view of the hotel grounds basically, if you dont mind. I wasnt there for views. Parking, okay so there is hotel parking for $18 a day in a garage, not bad. We choose the street pay to park option and always found a spot. After five days our parking total was $17.14. It worked out for us. Pool is open weekdays 5pm to 10pm with a life guard. Really nice jacuzzi too. Weekends its 10am to 10pm I believe. The pool is long and slim, not big, not deep but clean and nice to have. Breakfast I never had it, always went out to eat, I'm a foodie. If you have the time try Milk & Honey 30 min, but it's a quick ride. Also try Della J's Delectables. Again hotel is clean, the hallways are cold, ac is on, but rather not be hot. You control temp in room. Wifi is free, didn't use it. TV is nice, kids watched it mostly. Lobby is nice and decorative. Bar was busy and open until 10pm. The hotel desk, Jose was very nice. Everyone was pleasant not very talkative, hello and bye, helped promptly when needed. I would stay here a million times over!

The price was decent but that was it! Pay a little extra and stay somewhere else! Smelly and dated. AC went out for a couple of nights and magically starting working again the morning of check out. Clock radio made static sounds at night and had to unplug it. Room was at the elevator and right across from the ice machine which was horrible with people using it at all hours! Noisy little kids in the hallway early in the morning. Parents need to teach their children that others are sleeping and to whisper. Housekeeping was also noisy in the hall early in the morning.

Book this hotel, mainly for free parking; it is a typical American motel, the price is cheap, early breakfast; breakfast is a simple American breakfast, no problem to eat, coffee to drink casually; location according to the location provided by Ctrip input navigation It’s time to go; 20 minutes drive from the City Center Capitol; traffic jams~ Reminder: There are two motels here, and one: comfort inn, look right

If I could rate the staff only, this would be 5 out of 5. Everyone was professional, cheerful, and welcoming. The hotel is not managed directly by Hilton, so some of the amenities are a little below expectation. Our room (one bedroom suite with 2 double beds) was on the 3rd floor. Due to the space required for the HVAC ducting, the bedroom was noticeably smaller than we have experience at other Homewood Suites. Although we were warned that the area was a little ”sketchy” we did not experience anything out of the ordinary for a huge metropolitan location. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was ample and well presented.

Very large room, the mattress is very comfortable, the experience is very good, personally think it is more critical to the conditions of living, but this hotel is very satisfied. The only downside is that parking is too expensive, but a parking lot close to it is next to the wholegreen, where parking costs are reasonable.

Hotel stay was far less than satisfactory and here are the reasons: 1. Some Front Desk staff didn’t know how the Bonvoy Ambassador hotel credit worked providing evidence many are poorly trained. a. The morning front desk member told me that he “just worked here” and the manager would arrive in a couple of hours to help me. No one ever got back to me. b. Requested manager support, not one got back to me. 2. Hotel room had: a. Collapsed cushions on the couch. b. Mold in bathroom c. Broken or extremely worn furniture. d. Torn and ripped window drapes 3. Billing was wrong and difficult to correct. Our family grew up managing hotels and I know that owning and operating a hotel is very difficult, this hotel exemplifies just how hard it is. I will not stay at this hotel again because there are so many other quality hotels in the area at the same cost.

Ctrip booked two double-bed rooms, ready to check in at the front desk, and only one double bed was answered. The Ctrip customer service was always busy. Later, a customer service called me to talk to the hotel front desk and gave them to the hotel. After a confirmation code inside, the hotel found another section of the department, or a double bed. The customer service phone changed the hotel front desk to a large bed. The front desk refused, said it could not be changed, and finally had to wait for Ctrip to negotiate, about an hour before and after. Finally, I went to the hotel on-duty manager to explain the situation before I was able to check in. I got my room card at 8:50 pm and 10:00 pm. After a long day of fatigue, it was a bit ugly to encounter this. The location is relatively close and the price is relatively cheap. After all, Hilton is a big name, but this type of hotel has to charge and expensive for breakfast. I still think that holiday inn and crown plaza are better and cost-effective.

I recently hosted a conference and board meeting at the Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel. I stayed twice- once in September to do a site visit and had a particularly friendly welcome from Gelila who helped me out multiple times and made me feel welcome and cared for. She really made my experience memorable. Working with Jada and Megan to book the event was really easy, friendly and efficient. When I came back to host my event I was really welcomed by the staff. Kendra always made sure I had what I needed to make sure my event ran smoothly and kept track of many different needs our group had. She was very responsive and helpful. Negasi, Rosario, Helen and Amir took care of us with our catering and were such authentic and caring people. They all made us feel like family. Negasi particularly noticed what we needed and made strides to change the plan to accommodate for our particular event. He is a wonderful person. Other front desk helpers, like Taylor, also really enhanced the experience. Everybody really actedl like a human being and I really appreciate it. I am so grateful each time I went down and saw Gelila at the desk because I felt like I could count on her generosity and friendly warmth! Thank you all for the care and consideration during our event! Next time will definitely book here.

There are everything you need for breakfast. It is hot in the morning, and there are free drinks and biscuits in the afternoon. Overall this was a lovely hotel and somewhere I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Free parking is a plus in this area, which is definitely not suburban-feeling although it's not in DC proper either. The hotel is a somewhat unique design, on a corner and wrapped around several sides of an above-ground lot and a single level of underground parking, both accessible for guests. Rooms were fresh and clean and well furnished. All the staff I interacted with were pleasant. I stayed for six nights and was quite comfortable. I did request a change of sheets for one bed midweek which never did happen despite the assurances of the front desk that it would, and our keys stopped working at two different occasions during the stay and had to be reissued -- based on what we saw from other guests, the key thing seemed fairly common. Breakfast was high quality and plentiful -- toast, bagels, cream cheese, peanut butter, rotating hot foods (usually sausage and egg/cheese omelettes or an egg patty), two waffle irons w/ normal and strawberry batter, oatmeal, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, various kinds of cereal + milk, doughnuts/pastries, and more. It was available right at the scheduled start time of 6:30am. Seemed to be fully restored to pre-COVID levels. The hotel has an hourly shuttle that runs to the Ballston-MU Metro station, which is otherwise an easy half-mile walk. The neighborhood is walkable and has many restaurants and bars that are just a few minutes from the hotel on foot. In a car, it's about 15 minutes from the hotel to the White House area. DC hotels tend expensive, and this seemed like a good deal for a solid stay in an accessible location. The few annoyances were minor and the benefits of this location were significant. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good price for a DC-area stay.

I like to stay in different Hilton family properties across the portfolio when I stay in different cities. A trip out the new section of the Metro Silver Line brought me to this location. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I have stayed in many hotels and know the standards I expect from each brand in the portfolio. This Hilton provided me with a pleasurable and ample stay. As always I chose my room along with pre-check-in the day before my arrival. Upon arrival I was pleased to find that the entrance to the hotel is literally at the top of the exit from the Metro. I went right to my room with the digital key, bypassing the front desk. I would later return to get the water bottles I was entitled to. The room was certainly a good size for a suburban location... plenty of room for everything. The bathroom satisfactory as well with enough space for my toiletries. The shower had no hot water issues. Climate in the room was easy to control, although it was fairly mild outside for early December. In the morning, breakfast was served at the place on the second floor, a typical buffet offering with many diverse choices. All in all this place comes highly recommended if in the DC area; it's easy to get anywhere by Metro.

The pros: great location, staff is welcoming and helpful, breakfast was good. Very close to great restaurants, shopping and Metro stop. Easy to walk to any of these. The cons: none significant. FWIW: You have to stop your car at the front and check in to get a parking pass - cost is $35 a day. Not a lot of room for your car while you’re checking in, but they are quick. If you are accustomed to an HGI in a more suburban location where you have plenty of room to park and have some distance from others, you’ll feel cramped here. But it’s a big city and it can’t be helped. Plenty of city noise, but none from the hotel itself.

Tip: if you require a handicap room with a specific capability (roll-in show for example) do not rely on calling central reservations to get the room choice right. I received a confirmation for a specific room only to find out it did not exist at the property. When I identified this to the receptionist on-duty I was told to return at 3pm when other rooms would open up and that the staff on duty could assign me the correct room. Turns out in hindsight that receptionist knew (my gut feeling) knew the room did not exist on that property and left the issue for the next shift to figure out. While the next staff shift tried to figure it out, the manager put in a few words then promptly left the property. The receptionist was on hold for over 75 minutes with their central reservations POC when I finally called the members number and then married the two together to locate a room.

The hotel is located near the Crystal City subway station, about five minutes walk. The hotel has a shuttle bus to the airport every half an hour, which is very convenient. The room is large and clean. The air conditioner in the room turned on too loudly. I don’t know if I didn’t adjust it myself. When booking, pay attention to whether there is a charge for Wi-Fi in the room. We believe that Wi-Fi must be free according to the usual practice. When we checked out, we found that the charge for using Wi-Fi was deducted. At the hotel booked by Ctrip, we immediately contacted Ctrip customer service, and Ctrip immediately returned the money to us in the form of a gift package. Thank you very much for the excellent service of Ctrip.com. For many years, I have chosen to book airline tickets and hotels with Ctrip, and I will continue to choose in the future.

This is what I wrote to the Manager of the hotel. Mr. Hassan, Let me congratulate you on assembling one of the finest teams of hotel workers I have known. I especially want to point out Diamond, Larry, Carl, Melanie and Lourdes at the front desk and Johannes in housekeeping. Although I didn’t speak to any of them I also appreciate the maids who serviced our room every day. The reason I want to mention each person is because each addressed the issues we were having in a friendly, personal and professional manner. When my husband and I get to our room, we go over it to make sure anything out of place is mentioned to the front desk staff before we unpack. We found the living room chair in disrepair, a knob missing from the stovetop and the TV wasn’t working. By the time we returned to the front desk with our report, Diamond was on duty and asked if we wanted to change our room. She personally came to the second room and we told her that we preferred the first room if the items that needed addressing could be resolved. In fact, some were resolved by the time we returned to the first room. I also want to let you know that I had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time! This was my first time at a Residence and my husband and I agree that we now need a reason to come back. Having a full refrigerator, free wifi, hot buffet breakfast, a fantastic and helpful staff and all the other amenities has made this our go-to for future stays in Arlington/Crystal City. I only have one suggestion to make and that is for your buffet. I know there may be safety rules involved, but a hot buffet should stay hot; one morning I was the first one there and by the time I got to my table the waffles were cold. This continued the next days for the pancakes and french toast. If there’s a problem with keeping a flame under each tray, may I recommend you put one or two small microwaves in or immediately outside the buffet area.

I have already recommended your hotel to a friend. And I’ll continue to do so to any and all who ask “What’s the best hotel in Arlington?”

This location went above and beyond to find me a room. The front desk employee (Bryan) worked every angle he could to make sure he could accommodate me. From the second I walked in, to the second I checked out, I was treated with respect. Definitely an experience that I am not use to. I can not recall his name (Bryan) and I am not sure if there is a way to find out, but the individual that checked me in was awesome. He ensured he found me a room late at night for the duration of my stay. He accommodated the fed rate for me so I didn’t have to pay out of my pocket. Ruth at the FD always had a smiling greeting for us as well as most of the other FD personnel. Meaza managed our room beautifully. Mr. George in maintenance was also a pleasant figure around the hotel as he went about his daily tasks. The area is great for walking with some excellent 'other nations' restaurants around within a few blocks. Certainly Enjoyed some delicious food for the two weeks. The monuments in DC were only a 5-10 min ride from the hotel....directly across the river. the only downside was that the bedroom in the suite was very small.....just big enough for the queen bed which looked more like a full. However no problem....would stay here again

Breakfast is good, as shown in the picture, I have no breakfast for three consecutive days. There is a kitchen. The hotel has parking and is close to the Court House (Blue Line, Silver Line) subway station. There are buses, 38b, 61a, etc. above the subway station. At the Arlington Cemetery Station you can also walk across the river to reach the Lincoln Memorial. The center recommends at least two full days, one day on Capitol Hill, the Library of Congress, and walk down to visit the favorite museum. The next day walk from the Arlington Cemetery across the river to the Lincoln Memorial, the Monument, the White House, and continue the museum. In short, it is all about walking.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Had booked a room with 1 bed as this was all that was available online. Manager at the desk offered to change me to a 2 bed room which better suited my family and allocated my group, rooms together. Starbucks located in the hotel which was very conveinient for quick breakfast and shops and Metro within easy walking distance. All staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant next to the lobby has Happy hour on selected food and drink

Service was very limited caused by staff reductions and closed amenities due to Covid19. Apart from that unavoidable circumstances the staff was just as helpful and knowledgeable as should be expected from a property affiliated with the Hilton name. It just took a little longer than usual to get my request fulfilled.

I went to Arlington, VA recently to participate in Wreaths Across America. I had reserved a room at the Sonesta Select Arlington Rosslyn. I got there on Friday afternoon, checked in and went to the cemetery to spend the rest of the day. When I got back that evening, my sister joined me. We ordered in and had a quiet night in the room. We were up early and checked out by 6:30am so we could get over to the cemetery. We had a great day and a wonderful experience with the Sonesta Select. Imagine my surprise when I looked at my credit card statement on December 31st and there was a new charge for the Sonesta Select in the amount of $250. I immediately went to the Sonesta Select website and inquired what the additional charge was for. I sent a screen shot of my statement showing both charges. (The original room charge on the 18th and the one on the 31st.) I knew with it being New Years Eve, I would not hear back for several days. Imagine my surprise when I received an email yesterday saying the $250 charge was for the room cleaning because we had “trashed the room”!! Now Tim always makes fun of me when we travel because I always make the bed before we leave. I fold the used towels/washcloths and place them on the edge of the tub. True to form, I did just that. I made both beds, tidied the bathroom, emptied the trash cans into the bag that the food we ordered had come in for dinner the night before and even placed the remote back on the TV. I inspected the room before we left to make sure we hadn’t forgotten anything, turned off the lights and shut the door, making sure it locked behind me. I have now sent 3 emails back requesting pictures of the “trashed room” because you know in this day and age, someone took pictures. No response. I have not called them because I don’t trust myself to not get angry or rude with them. I also want a papertrail. I am not sure how to handle this because this is a case of “he said/ she said”. It’s not that $250 is going to break me but I feel totally violated and it’s very shady business. I had planned to use them again next year and was even planning a family vacation there for several days, reserving several rooms…. NOT NOW!! It would crack me up if it weren’t so ridiculous. We are 2 older ladies (55 & 56), hardly party animals. I was so exhausted from all the walking I had done that day and my sister was tired from working all day and then traveling to the hotel, we were both in bed by 8:30pm. So why am I telling you this, because BEWARE!! Obviously your credit card can be charged for anything after you check out. It’s sad that no one will show me any “proof” that I damaged the room and can charge you for anything they dream up. I feel like the next time I stay in a hotel, I am going to have to ask for someone working the desk to come to my room and do an inspection before I leave and give me something in writing that says the room is acceptable.

I know this is not a luxury hotel or anything, as I booked last minute and all the hotels in the DC area were very expensive. It's a basic property, but the staff make you feel at home. I arrived at 6AM after flying all night and the front desk lady kindly gave me the room at 9AM. Throughout my stay they provided outstanding service. The room was a decent size and comfortable bed. Yes, it is an outdated property and has no bells and whistles, but what they lack in that respect, they make up for great service and cleanliness. The complimentary breakfast was actually very good. The hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood and seems to be an upscale area with lots of restaurants around. Highly recommended for those on a tight budget!

I knew in advance that the hotel was very close to the airport shuttle and the subway station, but I didn’t know that there was a short road to Georgetown. It’s still silly, and the subway and the bus went around the huge circle to Georgetown. The result was almost finished. It was discovered that a bridge was 700 meters away from the Rosslyn subway, and then it was 1 km from here. My Scorpio, I will stay here next time in Washington.
