We have just returned from a 5 day break, just the husband and I (we left the 4 kids at home). The hotels location is ok, it’s at the side of a busy road but our room was pool side so did t really hear the traffic, it’s walking distance to town. The hotel is unloved and un cared for, broken tiles, broken chairs and sun loungers, and just generally tatty. We had no issues with the staff who were all pleasant the whole time we were there, obviously we have traveled in November and it was so quiet, hardly any people there at all. It could be beautiful and I’m sure it was in its day but right now it needs some work. The breakfast was questionable but we didn’t starve (we were B&B Only) and I wouldn’t have chosen to have eaten their for any other meals. The pool is to small for the size of the hotel and I can only imagine what it would be like in summer with people fighting over such limited swimming space surrounded by concrete but not enough tables/chairs or sun loungers. We had a lovely holiday none the less but I wouldn’t return to this hotel which is a shame as it’s in a great location.

The hotel feels very good, the room is not very big, the bathroom is a little old, some service staff are a little impatient, and some are very good. But the bed is quite comfortable and there is a big balcony. The scenery of the yard and the swimming pool are nothing to say. It's a great place for a relaxing vacation. The price is more expensive than the Four Seasons in Tunisia, so the price of more than 400 is actually a bit expensive. But guests who are not sensitive to price must choose this place.

The small suite booked, the living room light is not bright, it is dark, the room does not have a wardrobe, only a few small lattices are blocked by a cabinet, clothes can only be stacked on the sofa, there is no parking space, the car can only be parked The parking fee is paid separately on the side of the road, and the breakfast is average. The hotel charged a taxi to the airport and charged 250 dirhams. We took a taxi to the airport for only 80 dirhams. The hotel is only three or four kilometers away from the airport.

We took a taxi as we didn’t know the exact location but it was only a short walk from the train station/Supratours bus depot. There was a queue to check in on arrival but staff were very helpful and efficient. Room was very spacious, very clean and beds were very comfortable with a fridge and balcony. Breakfast was plentiful and service was well handled. We sat outside in the sun lounge and watched the world go by … The hotel didn’t offer restaurant service in the evening so we had to eat out which was okay for us but may put some people off. Also the pool was outside so no chance of using it in February!

We stayed here for 3 days after researching we decided to stay here in the junior suite which had more than enough space for a couple. The room was big. We also had a balcony which was nice in the morning to sit outside. We didn’t reviews about people talking about the noise because the hotel is next to the main road. But we didn’t have this issue once doors are closed you do not hear much noise. Room service is 24 hours which is also a great bonus. Breakfast has plenty of choice from fresh omelettes being made for you to a variety of pastries and cereal. Only negative here is there was not enough fresh fruit!

What a gem of a property in the Accor catalog of accommodation and hospitality! I am a senior, solo, single traveler, and Ibis rooms are just fine with me! The Wi-Fi could be a little bit better, but that's the problem with the vendor and the Internet service Provider, not the Ibis. Although this Ibis would be within their rights to demand better service- in 2023, with 100+ rooms. I came directly from an Ibis in Lisbon, which had fewer items for breakfast, and no Chef for evening dinner! The breakfast is a wonderful mix of Moroccan, Arabic, French foods, but also American/English. Scrambled eggs are made without dairy, and I brought my own gluten-free bread from Carrefour to be sure. While they do have a container of Honey, I bring my own, as I don't like touching containers and spoons touched by other customers... another customer absconded with my honey yesterday, and one of the wait staff had to retrieve it! Three languages are spoken here: Moroccan, Arabic, French, and plenty of English. Any word that is too specific can be translated on any of the web translation sources. Like when I needed to explain that DHL was bringing a package with my gluten-free chocolate chip cookies that Carrefour does not stock! There's been some shuffling of the wait staff in the last few days, but besides being new, quiet, and shy, they are all talented and all understand hospitality. The evening dinner is attended to by the top echelon of the hotel staff and everything is more than fine – which in my case means a very plain and simple American taste. Since I don't carry currency, the evening food bill goes on my room tab. Breakfast was part of the booking in the first place, but I don't fully understand what ”half-board” means, if that means evening dinner, so I will be inquiring about that. Being next-door to the train station means it's a three minute walk to excellent sight seeing and people watching. And McDonald's of you so care, and at least two mobile phone SIM shops. Carrefour is a 10 minute walk, and there is a shopping mall which is about a 20 minute walk which I will be visiting for recreation purposes and window shopping, to get a feel for the retail culture of this city. And people watching! I did read about the potable water situation on a Moroccan tourism page. This Ibis has plenty of bottled water, so just ask- at Reception and of course in the Restaurant.  I also read about cash versus credit card. The three places that I have spent money at have all accepted cards. It is currently Ramadan, but this Ibis respects International tourists' needs and wants. No disruption of service- and the staff seem to be very happy to be celebrating the holiday. My room had two minor maintenance issues, which were resolved quickly. The garden is beautiful and peaceful, and well manicured. I have stayed with other brand name chain hotels in the US and Europe. There is nothing in this historic building that is outdated, or in need of renovation. The most important

We checked in to our deluxe room, and it was a horrible stay. First off, the deluxe room building is the furthest building away from the hotel, and by the time we get to our room, the view from our balcony is of a construction site and parking lot. Our room had a particularly strong vinegar smell to it, and we asked to move rooms. We were told that every deluxe room was sold out and we would be able to move rooms the next day. Next day comes around and we didn’t hear from the hotel. Every call to guest services took at least 3-5 minutes until someone answered or called back. We also came back to our hotel room unlocked, and it seemed housekeeping didn’t truly close our door when they cleaned it. On our last night, the A/C didn’t seem to work. We called guest services and the lady I spoke to told me that it was turned off for the whole hotel. When asked why or when will it be turned back on, she abruptly interrupts me and says I’m transferring you to the front desk. I waited for at least 2 minutes on the phone before someone from the front desk to answer my call, and he informs me that someone will come check our A/C. We love staying at different hotels in different countries and had no issues with other hotels in Marrakech, however, our stay at Movenpick was very underwhelming and staff didn’t seem to care at all. This has been a very awful experience, and hope that the hotel management can make a much better experience and improvement for others.

Good location, convenient transportation. The hotel is small but small and exquisite. It is completely standard hotel-style service. The attitude is very good and the details are thoughtful. In the evening, I will have a refreshment at the hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable. special. There is a restaurant on the top floor, breakfast is very characteristic, one-on-one service. Dinner is very good, and there are two people who specialize in playing folk music. And the price of meals is not expensive.

We had a great stay. Clean and nice room with comfy bed. Breakfast by the pool was great. Staffs were nice and friendly especially the door gentleman! Check-in was a bit of a pain as it took ages (lack of staff when i arrived)… we needed to rest badly but had to wait for like 20 mins. Lifts are very old and slow but luckily there wasn’t many guests so it wasn’t a burden. Ingeneral i think it was a good value hotel. We would come back!

Advantages: For 2 people, the room is large and the overall space feels open. The breakfast tastes good and the service is good. Disadvantages: There are only 7 rooms, no dinner is provided after 8 o'clock, and there is only one employee on duty during the day and night. In addition, there is no kettle in the room, and there are only two wooden hangers if you don't want to. The final details need attention and improvement: the stool in the room was found to be broken on the day of check-in, which made it dangerous to sit down and turn over easily, but the staff felt it was not important. Although it was replaced later, it affected the overall experience of staying.

Belonging to high-end boutique hotels, the waiters are highly motivated. The double room has a large space and the sanitation facilities are clean and clean. The bedding is also quite soft and comfortable, which is the best night I have ever slept in Morocco. The surrounding dining is fully prepared, and the Chinese food and beverages are delicious. The breakfast experience is also very good, with a wide variety of dishes.

We absolutely LOVED this place. I have stayed in a few Riads and this by far is my favourite. The architecture is a fantastic mix of old and new, and the rooftop pool is the perfect escape from the city (when you need a break). But what really makes this is the team that work there who are thoughtful, knowledgable and kind. From things like reaching out in advance and organising transfers, suggesting a late night dinner in the Riad (due to a late flight arrival) and sharing with us a little bit about the Moroccan culture. You should definitely have at least one dinner here - you feel like you are in a private restaurant, and the best chicken tagine and pastilla we had all trip! Also a special thanks to Muhammad - we were there during a recent earthquake and he ensured the safety of all the guests and made sure we were always looked after. I hope to come visit the team at Dar Kandi again inshallah.

I visited this hotel between the 8-12 Oct 2023. Upon checkout I settled all hills, including reminding them of a spa treatment that their computer failed to pick up. Any case more than a month later my Pre Authorisation for extras has still NOT been reversed back into my card. And each time we call the hotel, they pass the buck. My bank insists that the responsibility is for the Jaal Riad Marrakech to issue a “release notification” which they have failed to do. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and a pity because the hotel is a pretty place, but be ready to “gift” them your foreign currency because you’ll never get your money back. Totally unacceptable.

They were so helpful, so warm and welcoming which made our stay 10 times better! They were all very attentive and extremely helpful! They helped with getting around Marrakech and gave us the best recommendations for restaurants and tours!! The Riad was always SUPER clean with fresh sheets and towels everyday. The location is a hidden little gem. I loved walking through the area and passing by all the markets. You’ll feel like one of the locals which was a fun experience!! Don’t miss out on this charming Riad it definitely was a 10/10 for us!!

I rarely take the time to review but I felt some reviews were unfair. I was worried after reading the reviews after I had booked. I think most are unfair. I think people are confusing this for a 5* The prices for a couple are a little more than you would pay for a shared room in a hostel. The hotel is basic and was more than adequate for our stay. contrary to some reviews I found the staff very friendly and polite. The breakfast is basic and buffet style. A selection of 3 types of bread, boiled eggs, Green tea, coffee, pastries , Cakes, juice, msemen, cereal and a microwave to warm things if you need to. The hotel is slightly further than most but perfectly accessible. 10 minutes in taxi 13-15drh in day 30dh at night £1.5-£3 cheap. Taxis easily flagged down on the main road opposite. language is possibly an issue as other than 1 or 2 they dont really speak english. They were upfront about pricing and whilst some things they do try charging a premium for in comparison with the shops outside they are not too dear. Like everything in Marrakesh be streetsmart, ask for clarification of charges and question any charges you feel are incorrect. I was asked to pay taxes on my checkout and I had already paid it on arrival. I questioned it and he quickly corrected his error. whether he was hustling or just made an error I dont know but he was polite and corrected himself. From the old pictures on websites and from the foyer it is obvious that this place was once quite nice. it is at present tired and needs a refurb but this is reflected in the price. This is Marrakesh, the hustle is real. do your research and book something that is appropriate for you in your budget. dont book 3 star and expect 5 star. hope this helps someone considering booking I enjoyed my stay.

We stayed from 16 to 20 February. The riad is in a well-connected area, full of locals, 400 metres from Jemaa el-Fna and near the Medina. He crosses the street and enters the Jewish neighborhood Mellah. Very clean, on a sideway that makes it very silent, despite a few meters the traffic of Marrakech reigns sovereign. Palais Bahia and the Saadian Tombes a few meters. The room was at the latest floor (Viola room), very large and excellent for 3 people, large bathroom and terrace to live, a few meters from the Palais Badi's witches. Good breakfast, excellent wifi, many info from the very friendly and very high Hassan and Zakaria.

This is such a lovely place to stay in Marrakech. It is peaceful, clean and traditional. The host, Mohammed, is like a big brother who is there to make sure you are comfortable, entertained and safe. He is so pleasant and relaxed. In the Riad the facilities are really adequate, breakfast is lovely and the dinner we ate there was so easily the best and most authentic of our entire stay. We booked our trips with the help of Mohammed and as a result we were on the safe hands of our own driver who transported us safely, comfortably and in a tailored way on the typical trips at a fair price. This gave us some control over what we did which was appreciated. I would highly recommend Raid Irhalne as it's not just a place to stay but a full Marrakech experience.

We stayed at the Kech twice in the same trip in November, 2022. We landed in Marrakech and stayed there for two nights before going on a road trip to the Sahara desert, and then we returned to Marrakech and stayed at the Kech again for one night before flying out. It was all part of a packaged private tour. Our experience the first time was not very good. We felt the service was lukewarm, the room was not too clean, especially the mildew in the shower area, and the dinner buffet in the restaurant was not the Moroccan food we expected on our first night in Morocco. To add insult to injury, they wanted us to put a $20 deposit to get a couple of beach towels for the pool. We didn't expect such nickel and dime procedures in a supposedly 5 start hotel. Then six days later we returned to the hotel from our road trip to the desert. We were greeted warmly at checkin. They gave us an ”upgraded” room. It was spacious and clean, the breakfast and dinner provided were excellent, and the service was very friendly. We could open a tab at the bar, and this time, we didn't need to put a deposit to get pool towels! They even gave us a box breakfast of croissants when we had to depart from the hotel at 4:30 a.m. to cath our flight the next morning! The hotel is close to the airport, so that was convenient.

I can honestly say this was one or the best trips that I've been on and what made it was the outstanding service from the full team at the Riad. I visited with my husband and 3 friends for a 4 night break in January to get some winter sun. The riad arranged transfers from the airport and we were met on the street by a member of the team who led us to the hotel and transported out bags. We were greeted warmly by name on arrival in Riad and given tea and treats while we waited for our rooms. Siahn then took time to ask what we wanted to do while on our trip and planned every small detail for us including some fabulous restaurant recommendations. Nothing was ever too much! The service was personal and better than most five star hotels that we have stayed in. Siahn is a credit to the Riad, she truly is outstanding. The suite that we booked was excellent, the interior was done to a high standard and the bathroom was next level luxury. We organised a cooking lesson in the Riad with the chef Fatima. We met at 11am, went to the markets with Siahn and Fatima to buy the ingredients and then cooked lunch together and enjoyed it on the rooftop with some wine we purchased while out and about (the Riad is dry but they were happy to provide an ice bucket and glasses) As a *** couple we were slightly nervous about staying in Morocco but it was as never an issue and we felt safe and welcome at all times. The Riad is in a great location with some many restaurants, bars and the souks just a short walk away. It’s the ideal location! As a group we have now decided to make it an annual trip, the hotel was extremely affordable and had the most perfect set up. Thank you so much for an amazing holiday! We can’t wait to come back and stay with you guys again

Just returned from a weeks holiday. The first thing to mention are how hardworking and friendly the staff are. A special shout out to Halima in the lobby bar who always greeted you with a big smile and went the extra mile. Although to be fair you can easily say this about all staff. Without doubt the best service I have received in any hotel and I have been to a lot. Rooms are clean and of a good size for a family of 3. Air con was very good and a relief in the 40 degree heat. Lots of Sun beds and parasols. Although get down early if you are fussed where you want them. Loads of entertainment around the pool including a brilliant aqua aerobics. Also foam parties and lots of other activities going on. You will never be bored however if you just want to watch no one will hassle you to join in. The food choice is good and I would recommend entering the dining room of an evening through the lobby bar to see what the show cooking is for that night. Plenty of options for breakfast too. The snack shack serves excellent burgers. Never had to queue for a drink or table for dining. There is a good selection of cocktails to choose from and the wines are good. You can also help yourself to water, coffees and soft drinks around the pool. Weekly white party is worth a visit. Took a free coach trip from the hotel the souks and worth getting a guide to take you around for £15. This was different from our other holidays as we did not leave the hotel unless on a trip as about 30 mins from Marrakech however would definitely return.

Regarding the room, a mixed start to my stay and a first evening, being very manic and looking at cleanliness, my first room was very dusty and poorly insulated, the next day, the reception team told me about it. changed rooms, much less dust but not up to my expectations, I think the rooms need a little more maintenance and refreshing. Regarding the common areas, cleanliness is excellent and hydroalcoholic gel is available. As for the gym and the swimming pool, great I have nothing to say, very well maintained. The catering is correct too bad some of the hotel's restaurants are closed due to the Covid. The agents at the reception, catering, SPA and swimming pool are attentive and are very responsive. Too bad there is no possibility of transfer from the airport which is very nice when you land at 11:50 pm. Finally, the stay went well despite some improvements to be made and a sense of detail to be developed. Thank you for this stay.

The hotel is near the road, the hotel is friendly, the snacks and tea are delivered immediately, the hotel is large, but we went out for the day, did not eat in the hotel, many foreigners drink and chat in the hotel yard at night, the environment is very good, I like it very much, the hotel can also ask about the group to the desert, it is not expensive.

We had the good fortune to book into Riad Daria for our first trip to Marrakech in May having looked at many of the different options to stay in the Medina. We were very pleased with our choice. Right from our pickup at the airport through to our departure two days later everything pretty much worked as expected. The raid is an oasis of calm in the city a great base from which to explore the city. Our room (one of the smallest) was perfect for us. The staff and the service were excellent throughout. I had mailed ahead to explain my need for gluten free food and Jen-Christophe was very helpful (it is true that majority of the fantastic moroccan breads and pastries were out of bounds to me but I am getting used to that ☹️.) and it was nice to talk to him about the Riad during our stay. We had two excellent meals in the Eclipse restaurant on the rooftop and also greatly enjoyed our Hammam! Who would have thought that a very hot bathing experience would be so enjoyable on a really hot day! Overall, we could not have made a better choice and are looking forward to returning next year!

Like the rest of my family, I was looking forward to returning to Riad Zara, where I had already stayed 4 times. What a desappointment ! The Riad is now badly maintained (rusty chair in the patio, tile on the floor in front of the room in a thousand pieces...). Home shabby, no tea as it is usually done .. No bottled water in the rooms (we had to buy them ourselves ..). No toilet paper. At the meal we are offered a bottle of wine... And we are therefore asked at the end of the meal to pay it in cash (25 euros for a basic bottle) without it appearing on the final bill. Whether it was for the meal or the breakfast, we had to ask ourselves the same spoon to serve ourselves, sugar, water... At the end, when the bill had been calculated together, the manager told us that it's not enough and counts us the meal a second time, in an aggressive tone. Luckily the owner was there and confirmed that we had paid what was necessary... The Zara was a marvelous place a few steps from the place aux épices, but nothing remains of its splendour. The last positive reviews date from 2020. It is with sadness that I will never recommend it again.

First time in Morocco. Picked Riad Azra based on location, ratings and price - I was not disappointed by any of them. Donia, works reception, was the kind of person you can’t help but like upon meeting her. She was so helpful in coordinating tours, laundry, even coordinated a traditional Moroccan meal for me at the Riad. She shared info about their culture and general tourist advice. She did it all with the greatest attitude and smile. The other shining star was Adil who did everything from reception to cook to server. He is the one who cooked an outstanding traditional meal for me. This place had the best service of anyplace I have ever stayed. Granted it is sorta hard to find in the maze of streets but I would stay here again without a doubt.

Been to Dubai, stayed at the Amaha Desert Hotel and Jumeirah Group Hotel, still feel that this is the best. Everything is as beautiful as the picture. I enjoy a building and the copper lamp is very beautiful. I prefer the one in the toilet. The toiletries are complete and are also packed in delicate cloth bags. The comb is a wooden comb and has a great impression. Health is very good, we refused when there was cleaning service at night, because there is no need. The breakfast is also delicious, the bread dessert is a fragrant, and the dinner is not eaten at dinner. You can try it. The courtyard design is very good. It came out and found beautiful, many beautiful flowers, and very quiet. I have never seen other guests except the restaurant. The hotel can pick up and drop off guests, not to call a taxi. It is the staff of the staff who drive Mercedes Bentley to pick up. The next day we switched to the raid in the wheat field. We had to contact the other party to pick up the phone. As a result, the staff of Mansour were all connected, seamlessly connected and perfect. The most touching thing is that the details show the intention, the signature card, the delicious cake fruit. Since we wanted to change the hotel later, we booked a car at noon. I thought the hotel would remind us to check out. Who knows that there is no such thing. No one reminded me that the check-out time is up. We have to go back to the room at 12:45. Probably also know that I am leaving at 1 o'clock, so I don't remind me, very intimate details.

We have been fortunate to travel the world and stay in many of the most renowned hotels globally, including two decades in Asia, but the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech stands out for being an exceptional resort hotel in a magical city. The gardens, public areas and pool are beautiful, the villas amazing, and the food throughout is fantastic (Ling Ling, breakfast and room service all excellent). However, the genuine hospitality of Marcel Thoma and his excellent team made our stay truly memorable - nothing was too much trouble, and we felt special from the moment we arrived to the last farewell. We visited and ate at several of the other well known hotels in Marrakech - so glad we booked the Mandarin as it is definetely the best by far in my opinion. We had a truly wonderful stay. Thank you so much to the incredible MO Marrakech team - we can't wait to return!

The hotel room is old, we stayed at 4th floor, wifi was fine. Breakfast was ok, dinner choices was limited. But for the price I paid, it was great. Location is good, 20 minutes journey from airport, then 5 minutes walking to hotel. Free luggage storage after checking out. There is an ATM and a small souvenir shop inside hotel. Freshly made breakfast pancake was very nice. Reception was very helpful, helped me to print out my tickets.
