Myself and my husband stayed for two weeks. The service on arrival is pristine. The Lobby the smiles the decor , the greetings made it all very special. Cyrel our house boy was there for us at a moments notice to help us with anything we needed. We stayed in the Delux room beautifuly furnished full kitchen, washing machine coffee makers its got it all. The beds are wonderfully comfotable with a furry mat for your feet with a pair of slippers sitting on it. This hotel knows the final detail to a "T" you will not be disapointed. Thankyou " The Neelkanth Sarova. 5 stars.

First of all, the pick-up and drop-off of this hotel is based on the number of people! One person 350 gwacha, we two 700 kwacha! When I left, I went to the airport to take a taxi. One car was 350 kwacha at a time. Everyone wanted to pick up the hotel. Secondly, after the online payment of the room rate was actually deducted from the store, I always stressed that I had already paid the room rate. The front desk told me that I would not repeat the charge, but I found that I was deducted after the checkout. The refunded money has not arrived, according to the hotel, it will take a month! The list that was given to me when I left was still wrong, and I gave it to others. And the hotel does not have money change service, the restaurant is only one on the 9th floor, will not choose this one! I don't even trust Ctrip! The information given to me is completely inconsistent with the hotel! Although I have been following up to solve the big money, I have not returned!

Breakfast was average and environment was ok. There is a 24-hour convenience store near the gas station next to it. It is too difficult to find a convenience store in Lusaka. In a business district, you can go to the supermarket to buy something during the day.

After a hiatus of about 1.5 years, I spent 5 nights at the Taj this month. The service remains excellent from the front door to reception to the rooms, bar, and restaurants. The hotel is nicely decorated, always sparkling clean, and generally efficient. The rooms are clean and moderate in size. The views of the city of Lusaka from the upper floors are nice especially when rain clouds roll in. The breakfast buffet is excellent and includes a range of dishes from European to Indian. The same restaurant, Jacaranda, serves a range of continental, Indian and Zambian dishes for lunch and dinner. The best meal was Sunday brunch when there is an outstanding buffet with many great offerings including some very well made, tasty Indian food. There is free internet for guests that worked very well on a laptop but the internet on my smart phone repeatedly dropped such that I had to log in dozens of times per day.

With just a few days in Lusaka, I wanted some Ethiopian cuisine and friends who formerly lived in Ethiopia told me to go to the restaurant at Melsim Lodge. We arrived early and were greeted and seated immediately. The owner of the restaurant even came out and greeted us. The food was authentic, delicious, and plentiful. We also ordered Ethiopian coffee for after dinner, as this is always a treat (and it doesn't keep me awake at night). If you like Ethiopian cuisine, this is a wonderful, genuine Ethiopian restaurant in Lusaka!

A small hotel, in fact not very clean with small rooms and not very good service. Small restaurant and slow service. You have to wait long for beer or coffee, but the food is good. Cheap. Everything look there like old and dusty. Its ok for maximum few nights. Ofcourse You can stay there because its safe place and very close to the center of city, but it could be better to spend little more money and choose better palce.

The higher-end places, the environment is very good, you can walk and walk inside after eating. But the food inside is very expensive, the waiter's attitude is very general, there is no Chinese at the front desk, next to the casino, there is a hot pot restaurant 500 meters nearby.

We stayed one night before heading to South Luangwa. It was about 20 minutes or so from/to the airport. Safe and secure hotel. The rooms are large, comfortable, very clean with large restrooms and hot showers. The grounds are beautifully manicured with two swimming pools. The interior is decorated with African art and art by local artists. We wandered around just looking at the art before dinner. There is a large workspace next to the hotel (which we found while enjoying the art displays). Met a wonderful man with Game Rangers International who was using the workspace to write a grant. Knowing we had an early morning we opted for an early dinner by the pool. Noticed quite a few locals were having dinner at the restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was ok, but prices are clearly geared to foreign tourists. For us it was just convenient and the ambiance was nice. Breakfast was included in our rate. The staff arranged for an early hot breakfast for us, taking our orders the night before. Very accommodating. Nice buffet of yogurt, fruit, baked goods. My only issue was with check-out. As we had not stopped at a bank to exchange money, I wanted to pay via credit card for our dinner and drinks. But their machine was not working. So, needed to pay with US$, and of course had no small bills as we had stopped in Dubai on the way to Lusaka, and used all the small bills for tips there. The reception didn't have any cash (happy to take kwacha in change - but they didn't have any currency), so they couldn't make change. So, I ended up having to just pay and walk away from the change. Not a huge amount but just found the front desk nothing I can do attitude, super annoying. And that was the last impression I had of the hotel.

I had 4 wonderful days in Lusaka. I had chosen to stay at the Hilton Garden - though, I think the name is a misnomer, given its location in the very heart of busy Lusaka. That did not detract from the serenity once inside the hotel anyway. It was very friendly and welcoming; the staff – Lee, Gina and the whole team were just really professional and hospitable, whether you were on business or holiday – I combined both on this trip. I intend to stay here on my next trip. Very important was the care taken to ensure that everyone in the hotel was kept safe during the early stages of Covid-19. Hand sanitizers were available on entry on the ground floor, when you got to the main lobby and then just before you got on the lift to head to your room.

I lodged in Roma Place when I was in Lusaka for some work in June 2019. The place was extremely clean, comfortable and cozy. Rooms were organized and also had wifi facility which helps in work. The kitchen was very big and adequately equipped and shared with the other lodgers in the same apartment. TV doesn't have a lot of channels hosted, so you have to find other ways of passing free time. Natasha is a warm and helpful host and she is very prompt in resolving any concerns. I enjoyed my stay here and will definitely like to put up here if I ever happen to visit Lusaka again.

My husband and I had a one-night stay at the StayEasy before our journey to South Luangwa. The room was lovely and the staff were helpful, but the best thing for us was the location. Just a 10-minute walk to the bus station which was perfect for our early start and opposite a shopping mall which had some good options for dinner. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is literally falling apart. Can't count the number of doors that fell of during my stay here. Most lights in the room don't work unless you request them to change them. Towels are horribly stained and look dirty. There are no house keeping standards. One day you'll get soap, a toothbrush, a shower cap and everything nice. The next day you'll get nothing but one horribly stained and torn towel. After a while they also stopped changing bedding and towels. The worst part was when we started losing our valuables about a month into our stay. They didn't have enough safes when we got there and when they eventually provided them, the safes were locked. I'm sure they could have opened them if I had asked but I was completely over it at that point. The food is very hit or miss. One day you get a huge portion that you can't finish the next day you get a very small portion for the same amount. One day the food is well cooked and tastes good, the next day the food is too salty and a mess. I once found a live worm in my salad and the response I got from the kitchen was that some vegetables were not washed. I didn't even know what to do with that information. I also received raw chicken one day and since I had smothered it in ketchup, I didn't realize I was eating raw chicken until I was done. In conclusion, it's good for a one day but don't stay long. It's also not a great place for groups. When you're few you can pick the best rooms but when you're in a large group you have to take the terrible rooms as well. Door connecting to the veranda at the back doesn't always lock so make sure you get a room with a locking door.

I enjoyed my stay while working on a project at exotic hotel. The staff is friendly and very helpful and professional. The room i stayed in was equally nice and cozy. I enjoyed the food though i would not mind if there was more variety on the menu. The gym is well equipped and trainer is great, help out alot. The pool looks nice though its kinda cold this time of the year probably will try it out in October when i get the chance to come back. The bar is well stock with a wide range of beverages and i loved the evening performance that occurred during my stay. The down side was slow Internet speeds.

My wife, kid and I stay at this place for 3 days. They don't have a bar which was not a problem coz I don't drink anyway. I must they have good management and treat clients well. They provided porridge for my son which was great and hot water is always there. They can improve other services but this place is not bad at all considering the location also it's great.

I stayed there for 4 night on a business trip to Lusaka en route Harare. I must say the Mika Kaboulonga has a great feel about it - I loved the pool, the bar area and the general vibe of the place. I had colleagues round a few times and they thoroughly enjoyed it too. It is also very good value for what you get for your money so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to other visitors like me. Note the staff are very polite and efficient - cleanliness was good and the breakfast was nice too so I had no complaints whatsoever. I am coming back in a couple of weeks for a longer stay!

We arrived in Lusaka after a 50 hour train ride from Dar es Salaam followed by a very uncomfortable 3 hour ride in a packed mini van. We had no idea how long the train would take as there doesn’t seem to be a standard arrival time, so we hadn’t booked a room. The first place we went was full, so our taxi driver suggested this place. We were utterly exhausted so just agreed. The receptionist was just ice cold and he room was only half finished being renovated. It smelt of paint, the tiling in the shower wasn’t finished and there were loose electrical wires hanging down in the shower where a light should have been. But hey there was a bed and that was all we cared about, what’s a little electrocution? My partner went out to the bar to have a beer and chill out a bit, but the bar staff was really rude to him for daring to ask for a drink and then couldn’t give him change from 50 Kwacha even though there was a bar full of people drinking. She made him get the 10 Kwacha for the beer and water from the money we paid for the room and told him he had to pay it back in the morning. The next morning while he was out trying to get change, some guy came knocking at our door looking for the 10 Kwacha. He said he had lent my partner the money for the beer and needed the cash back. I had no idea who he was and it made no sense. Turned out they took the 10 from this guy. Place is just weird.
