Hotels Near Manouche In Berlin
0.44km from ManoucheWe stayed at Hotel Prens for 5 nights at the end of a month holiday in Europe. This was our second trip to Berlin so we wanted a different experience than the usual sightseeing trip like a lot of our holidays to capital cities. We absolutely loved the location in Kreuzberg since it was not at all touristy and we felt liked we were living amongst and hanging out with local Berliners. We booked a triple room (even though we were just two of us) since it was the only room available. The room was huge and the extra seating (on the sofa bed) was a bonus. The hotel staff were all lovely and we really enjoyed our chats when having our many coffees in the outdoor courtyard area. Overall this is a really comfortable hotel that is great value for money and in a fantastic area for those who want to experience a taste of real Berlin.

0.74km from ManoucheThis hotel is in a good location close to transit and in the middle of one of Berlin's multicultural areas, Kreuzkoelln. The people are very friendly, the breakfast is very good and the rooms are clean, the Wi-Fi is good and there are lots of good German and Turkish restaurants close by. One drawback, no elevator, so if you are older and have lots of luggage request a room on the 1st floor.
0.94km from ManoucheI have just stayed here for 2 nights to see my son who is living nearby so I chose it to be near him as opposed to staying nearer the centre. It’s a business, no frills hotel. The entrance is not nice and smells like most of the area and you then take a lift up to reception which is small and joined to the breakfast area. The rooms are basic but ok. There is no real pillow menu (if you like that kind of thing). The bathrooms are nice and the shower works well. There’s clever lighting in the room. I did complain that although the curtains were blackout, they didn’t stretch across the windows so was a bit disappointing but to be fair when I went out they put it an extra curtain very quickly. It’s a very basic hotel and in an unpleasant area where drugs are sold on every corner. It would not be my usual choice and I’d say it’s 3 star not 4 but management were very helpful and acted immediately when needed. Breakfast was extremely basic but you can ask and they will oblige. Would I come back? Possibly, for one or two nights but only to be near my son. There’s also no air con so imagine it’s very hot in the summer. There are not many other choices in the area for the price.
0.96km from ManoucheThe Hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Kreuzberg, THE current place in Berlin. You step out of the hotel and you are in the middle of the quirky Berlin lifestyle. Bar, Restaurants, people from all over the world are lingering around and contribute to this amazing area of Berlin. The Hotel Bar and Lobby is very nice and invites you to stay and relax while watching the Kreuzberg crowd pass by. Unfortunately this only last until the live music starts playing, which is every night. We had to listen to Jazz with Balkan influence... which some people like but if you are not into it, there is no place to escape... except you leave the Hotel, which is not a bad thing The Room we had (Courtyard room) was truly tiny... the bed was maybe 140cm wide and for 2 larger people it might be difficult. The room was equipped with a very small desk, a TV and 2 Nightstands and there was literally no more space for anything else, infact if you want to watch TV you could not close the curtain, as these would cover parts of the screen... The bathroom was very nice and serene. Walk in shower with rain shower head, heated towel rack, very nice body lotion and shower gel provide from the hotel. The little hallway was quite dark and the wardrobe didn't have any light insight, having a black suitcase or travelbag made it nearly impossible to find anything without dragging the suitcase in the tiny bedroom and switch on the light. The Breakfast buffet was very basic, life cooking station for egg meals, some muesli and fresh fruits... the price therefore was quite hefty and we seriously expected something else to appear on our table, but no... The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and tried to make us feel welcome and contribute to a good time in Berlin.
1.2km from ManoucheI visit Berlin a lot and had considered staying in motel one, but had a terrible experience with Glasgow Motel One so I have avoided on principle ever since. However, I gave in as the price was so good. I had a queen room which to my delight had what I would consider a double bed. Sadly not a double duvet which seems to be quite standard in Berlin hotels and apartments, and is really, really annoying. Luckily it was boiling hot so it didn't really matter. The air con was very good, fast wi-fi and I could connect music to tv, although not my netflix which was a shame. There was a good amount of hangers for a brief stay, which was a pleasant surprise. Bathroom was perfect size with a very good shower. Surprised that some people have said rooms were small, I thought it was perfectly good size. My room was right at the lift which was a worry as in my experience this often means noisy, but the hotel seemed to have good soundproofing. I didn't hear anything at all from other rooms, or even from the street outside which is busy. I was here during week, so maybe bit noisier at weekend, but the lack of street noise and obviously fantastic double glazing was great. Great area if you want to hang out in Kreuzberg and only couple of stops to Alexanderplatz. It is a budget hotel so you do get what you pay for - the reception area is basically the bar which is a bit odd and there wasn't a lot of atmosphere, but who cares when there is plenty of atmosphere outside the door. I generally stay in an apartment when in Berlin, but very likely to now make motel one my berlin base.

1.76km from ManoucheGrimm hotel near Spittelmarkt for exploring the city for a few days prior to the marathon. X9 from Tegal airport to Zooological gardens bus stop and the u barn to Spittelmarkt fairly simple. Cross the road passed the Titanic hotel and at the hotel easy enough to find. Staff really pleasant and helpful when needed. Apartment clean and practically laidout. Only slight drawback was the apartment sleeps 6 but sofabed isn't the biggest or the most comfy but someone has to take one for the team. As constructive criticism if the hotel was to read this was might be to provide a semi skimmed or skimmed milk option on the breakfast buffet. Pizza shop across the street was nice enough. Grand burgers are definately grand, not for the small eaters.

1.84km from ManoucheI stayed here with 4 friends for 3 nights, all women 25-35 years old: Pros: - clean sheets/clean room/clean bathroom - good price £54 for 3 nights - good location - lots of transport/bars - went in November - the room was really warm - great restaurant over the road Bangkok City - breakfast is basic/not disgusting - lockers (bring a big padlock) - Wifi was good Cons: - feels kind of like a prison cell/old mental asylum/horror film set - children that live there running around the hallway all night - very creepy - only given a tiny hand towel for whole body which isn't changed, you will flash people - room lighting is very dim - went out with wonky make up - one small room mirror for 5 women to get ready - dodgy entrance and lift that feels like its gonna break at any moment - filled with all sorts of ravers, at all hours wandering about in all sorts of states Overall, we had fun here, if anything the instagram videos of us pretending to be in jail was the best part. I probably wouldn't stay here again out of choice, but it wasn't awful.... Advice; - unless you're poor, spend a bit more on a decent hotel lol... - bring a towel & mirror if more than one women - don't share a mixed dorm if you can help it - it would be horrific.

1.95km from Manouchecoincidentially we booked this hotel, when looking to be close to the Bergmann Kietz in the center of Kreuzberg. I would call it a gift to had a chance staying at the Vihelm 7. Beside the very authentic, typical Berlin backyard architecture, the way this building was refurbished, is absolutely great. No playfulness, no glitter but the plain style of late 1890 / early 1900 with a light influence of modern art. There is some nice history about this building, which was a cotton textile factory in the early days of industrialization. We had a nice double bed room, which is quite big with a box-spring bed of very good quality. bathroom is big as well , including a shower. The hotel is very clean and managed very well. The breakfast is made with organic food, everything produced in the greater region of Berlin and great quality. Our special THANKs to Yvonne, the Manger of the Vihelm 7, who is so wonderful warmhearted and gave us so much insight into the history of this nice place. This Hotel is absolutely recommended ...

Extensive Convenient transportation Hotel facilities are novel Good health Send a transportation card 4.55 Euro city tax per room - pit people ~
The location of the hotel is very good, the hall is also very atmospheric, and the rooms are also very good. The facilities are complete, the decoration is warm and unique, and the service is also in place
The house is very beautiful. The uncles and aunts are very good. The location is very good. It is very comfortable.
Breakfast is good, the room is very big. The TV is very clear. I didn’t have a toothpaste toothbrush at the beginning. I went to the front desk for free. I took a bath. It was very big. The water flow was also very large and the check-out could also be free of charge. But the first day, I didn’t change the big bath towel. I hang it again.
Super good location! High quality breakfast!
