We stayed here for our wedding anniversary, we were meet by Sam on reception, who was so helpful. Sam arranged for the booking of our evening meal and breakfast in our room for the following morning. After we checked in, we were shown to our roon which was beautifully clean, even the tv remote had been been sanitised and placed in a clear bag, everything was spotless giving the circumstances and current situation. Was a lovely afternoon, so we sat outside having a drink, bar snack and relaxing enjoying the beautiful venue.....can certainly recommend the salmon sandwich 😊 was lovely. We later had our evening meal which was lovely and my husband's beef was cooked to perfection, all staff worn masks and gloves felt very safe again beautiful surrounding, Sam was still working and even popped to our table to ensure everything was ok. Breakfast arrived exactly on time in our room, wow was amazing, complements to the chef for the evening meal and breakfast, when we checked out Sam was on shift... bless her. She so attentive to all customers ensuring everything is perfect, unsure of her position within the hotel, but have to say she an absolute credit to this hotel. Thank you for making our anniversary stay perfect ❤ Mr. Mrs. Holland x

The hotel is next to the train station, and it takes only about five minutes to get out of the train station. It is very convenient. The environment of the hotel is also good, the size of the triple room is OK, and the three people live just fine.

Well,we are getting back to normal, after lockdown, people are venturing out, some are visiting family & friends, well my wife & I went to Premier Inn on London Road Nottingham London Road Premier Inn, booking for one night, when we booked it was done online, although my wife has MS we didn't need to burden the hotel with this information, as it was only for one night, but after a 4 hour drive, we arrived at the hotel exhausted, the reception was all marked out with Covid19 restrictions, & the first thing we were told was the lift was broken, & guess what, our room was on the 3rd floor, I asked as the lift was broken, was there a room on the ground floor, they said yes,but it only had twin beds not a double,we declined this, and my wife said she would try & walk, meaning my wife & I had to walk up over 70 steps to reach our room, well finally we got to our room, we opened the door, only to find twin beds,as you would expect, we were not happy,so I had to leave my wife in the room on her own, whilst I went back to reception,to find out why,we had the same rooms as that were on the ground floor. So I walked the 70 plus steps to reception, only to be greeted with a blank look from the staff, who went onto the computer, to find out why the room they gave us, was a twin & not a double, finally we were given another room on the 3rd floor,so I walked back up the 70 plus steps to collect my wife, & go to the new room, which had a view of the river, but also the main road, where for it seemed hours, that high performance exhaust driven vehicles were back & forth, this was all on top of no breakfast, because of the restrictions, plus the bar was closed too, the only thing was the double bed was cosy. We were told by the cleaner the next morning, the reason the lift was broke was because the engineer who came to service it, got stuck in the lift, & the fire brigade had to gemmy the doors open, that's if you believe thier excuse. I think that after 4 months of lockdown,if the lift was working before lockdown, then it would have been ok after,so as you can guess, we won't be staying there anytime soon.

Stayed here for my fiance's 40th mid october:our visit was postponed from April because of the covid pandemic. The communications from the reception staff, during this very difficult and confusing time, was excellent. The hotel was clean and lots of safety measures were in place. Nina gave us a warm friendly welcome. All the staff we met during our stay were lovely. The bed was soooooo comfortable! And breakfast selection was good: we both went for the classic cooked breakfast with black pudding, which was all delicious. We would recommend the hotel and would stay again. Thank you to all at the Lace Market Hotel.

I was looking for a hotel that was quite central and close to the train station; Bentinck Hotel ticked both the boxes - as I exited the train station I looked to the left and could see the hotel directly across the street! The hotel reception, bar and restaurant are on the first floor, and the rooms are on the other floors above. As previous reviews have stated, there is no lift, but unless you’re travelling with a ridiculous amount of luggage it really isn’t a problem. I arrived a couple of hours earlier than I anticipated, but because my room was ready I was allowed to check-in early. I was very impressed by how accommodating the staff were, and with how lovely my room was. It had a boutique feel to it, was very spacious, clean, and warm. My room was also en-suite, which was compact but more than adequate. Other reviewers have complained of street noise, but I can honestly say that I didn’t hear a thing. Maybe that was because I stayed midweek, and perhaps the area is nosier of a weekend, but I had no issues. A continental buffet style breakfast was included in the room rate, and there was more than enough. You can pay extra for a cooked breakfast if you wish. I didn’t eat in the restaurant (apart from breakfast) but I did have a drink there in the evening before heading out - prices were reasonable, drinks were really good, and again the service was great. Working in customer service I know how important great staff are, and the two team members I spoke with were exceptional. Thank you for making me feel so welcome, I really enjoyed my overnight stay at Bentinck Hotel and would most certainly book again.

Friends introduced to this hotel, it feels really good, the location of the hotel is very good, in the city center, very close to the station and the city, the evening will be very lively, I like to visit the boutique, just near the hotel Many big boutiques, so I really like the location of the hotel and the facilities near the hotel. The entertainment, leisure, and dining facilities are very complete, and there is a need for it. The conditions in the hotel room are also very good, the room is very modern, the decoration is exquisite and beautiful, the bathroom is very comfortable, the facilities are very advanced, the bath in the jacuzzi is very enjoyable, I like the hotel's English breakfast, very delicious, very good taste. The only bad thing is that the public elevators are a bit dirty. I hope the hotel can send people to clean the public areas frequently. The air conditioning in the room didn't work for a few nights, and the rest were quite satisfactory. The service of the hotel staff was also very good. Overall, the hotel was good.

Ignore the negative reviews because it’s not a 5 star hotel, it’s a very clean, tidy and comfortable B&B, we could not fault it, yes there are a few little niggles but nothing to complain about, breakfast was amazing, bed, duvet and pillows so comfortable, bathroom very clean, we would stay again next time we visit Nottingham.

Bath/shower with a little on the short side, but overall the room was perfect, in size and in cleanliness, for the price you are paying. The bar/café closed to room service, which was a shame; however, the room was booked during the caving pandemic, so it is understandable that the company were trying to reduce the rate of spread. Everywhere was clean, tidy and presentable, and the staff were nice and presentable. Even though they were taken aback that I had booked an early booking time.

The hotel is located in the city center, not to mention the convenience. Breakfast is like that, all hotels in the UK are almost the same, and eating for a week is definitely vomiting. The facilities in the room are very traditional, just like 20 years ago, it feels very warm and the quality is good. There is no USB port, and it is not troublesome to find a conversion plug at the front desk.

We stayed for one night and it was fantastic. The hotel was set up perfectly for Covid measures and the room was incredibly clean when we arrived. The bed was so soft and even with just one pillow (extras were removed for Covid measures) it was still incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was very good, there was a good choice of items and the system around the area for breakfast was very clear. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and we will stay again if we are ever in Nottingham.

The environment is very good, located in the jubilee campus, very convenient for the students of jubilee campus. In terms of transportation, it is about ten minutes' walking distance from the National Express to the bus stop of Nottingham University (park campus), which is easy to find for tourists who came the previous day
