I am giving it a 5/5, based solely as it is a listed budget option that I have searched for within my price range. Booked for a night. Got the first room up the stairs which is rather big and spacious to my surprise . I did feel abit unsafe at the initial as i ve noticed the " open concept" back entrance to the car parking is next to the stairs, but all is good as there are security cameras all around. Slept through the night without any problems. Room does look old and tired. Got my own toiletries as im not expecting anything fancy to be provided. used on the towels. The old man, who im assuming is the manager / owner does look cranky but otherwise he is quite nice and accommodating.

Not a bad place to stay if you’re just there for short term. Not a lot of restaurants close by although the Grove is a few blocks which has some nice places to eat and shop. Literally across the street from CBS studios. Beds clean previous comments have been about the thin pillows yes they are very thin the bathroom was clean the floor you could tell a lot of guested stayed there but still it was good value for the money.

I booked this when my scheduled conference was cancelled and I decided to come to LA anyway since I couldn't get an airline refund. Brigid was very nice through the booking and check-in process and also helped me get the best deal available - much less than advertised on the travel sites. The day I got there is the day that everything in LA started to shut down. The staff was very understanding and even tried to help me find places to eat and places that were not closed. Because of the shutdowns, we decided to cut our stay short and only stayed 3 nights instead of 5. The staff was very accomodating and refunded us the difference. The rooms are not fancy but they are very clean and had excellent Wifi. Note that there is a lot of renovation going on and the hallway noise from that was rather loud. The hallways and bottom level wnere the parking garage is are rather dingy but the room itself was fine. Bed was comfortable too. Because of the shutdowns and the terrible weather, we couldn't enjoy the neighborhood very much but it is an easy safe walk to numerous restaurants and the Grove.

I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were impeccably clean, the decor was really fun, and the staff is so courteous and helpful. I checked in with the help of Juan late one night and he was so accommodating and efficient! The entire staff was very friendly -- from the cleaning people, to those working in the cafe, to the front desk staff. My dinner at the cafe was delicious. There are little nooks throughout the hotel that are great for working. What a nice surprise this hotel was!!

This facility has very decent/nice decor that’s better than some motels, very aberrant from what you would usually find for this price. Most of the staff members are polite & friendly. I can’t speak much for anyone else that works at the front desk, but there’s one lady that has made this place feel like I’m staying at a 5 star hotel since my initial arrival. I have stayed, could currently stay at more expensive, physically appealing Hotels/Resorts, but I wouldn’t be as comfortable as I am here because of Ms. Liz. I’ve seen her dissolve discrepancies professionally, efficiently, felicitously while maintaining alacrity & a positive attitude. Not mine alone, but other, sometime cantankerous, guests as well. She is quintessentially thee representation of 5 star customer service & in my opinion she should cater to the affluent. In a sense it feels as if she is the mother of this community & It’s not the same without her on her days off. In my personal opinion she is a essential asset to this business. She deserves all the recognition & plaudit that could possibly be allotted to her for her sagacity, diligence, decorum, and professionalism. I’m sure there are many other guests here that are congruent with my opinion. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jakarri Vanderbilt “Another satisfied guest at The Sunset West”

The young girl at the front desk was charming and quick. She gave me all the details I needed to know and was super courteous when I asked for ice. The room had a missing duvet on top of the bed but other than that everything else was perfect.

The decoration of the cement wind is very modern, the layout of the hotel is also very good, the price of 1350 one night is very high in the vicinity of Beverly, the farmers market opposite the hotel is very convenient, the cinema is also very good, saw two games, Hollywood past There is a resort fee and there is no hint that it is very grateful to Ctrip to make up the difference. The parking fee of 35 knives a night is not worth it. It is really no time. The American cherries are too free to realize.

Renovated mid century modern rooms. Great bathrooms, clean and comfortable beds. Nice linens. Restaurant on premises currently closed due to Covid. Convenient location and covered indoor parking. Walking ( although nobody in LA walks) distance to Fairfax Farmers Market.

Im generally super easy going with hotels, especially if I’m spending less on them. This was a HUGE exception. The rooms were dirty, I wouldn’t take my socks off on the floor. The bathroom floor had a hole in the tile, and the shower never really got above lukewarm. I felt unsafe when I would walk in and out of the room/in the hallway. The key cards demagnetized every. Single. Time. That we left the room. So we would have to go to the front desk and wait for them to remagnetized them. Location was ok but for the most part we still Ubered everywhere just to feel more safe. The day we left was the final straw though. We checked out at around 10am and didn’t have our flight to catch until 7pm. We had two large suitcases with us and backpacks. Every single hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my ENTIRE life has made accommodations for my luggage after checkout until I’m ready to head to the airport. The employees at the Hotel H-Wood refused to do this, we’re apathetic and truthfully just didn’t give a sh*t about us. They had our money and that’s all they cared about. Shame on you, leaving two young girls in a different city with all of their luggage for 8 hours. I will NEVER stay here again, wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY OR ENERGY on this dump of a “hotel”. I’m genuinely surprised they’re even legally allowed to call it that.

Quality Inn Near Hollywood Walk of Fame is 3 blocks from Hollywood Walk of Fame. Continental breakfast had prepackaged danishes and waffle maker. It is a very clean hotel. This was a very secure hotel, and we had to pass in and out by main desk. We were very familiar with the front staff before we left - Fahim, Adrian, Faisal. There is a lot of homeless people in this high-tourist area. It was good to have this security! We did have an issue, and the staff quickly corrected it. This staff is great to work with!

A great place to stay with great staff and manager who was very accommodating and extremely helpful. We needed an earlier check in and we got into the room at 12:30pm instead of 3pm without any extra charge. The room was comfortable as were the beds and the shower was amazing The price was great other than the added charge of $20 per day for parking which was not included in the room rate. However, all in all a great place to stay and an even better location where we are close to almost everything and right in the heart of Hollywood I would definitely stay there again if I needed to Highly recommend

The environment is very good, because several hotels resident on this day moved to here for three nights without rooms, the price is slightly expensive, but the hotel environment and room settings are really good, super warm and sweet feeling, Small promenade and open air area outside Big Love Hotel

Amy Bloch, the Concierge, contacted us about 2 weeks before our arrival asking if there was anything she could do for us either setting up any tours, restaurant suggestions and reservations or anything we might need. After asking for suggestions on restaurants she did send me quite a selection of different types of restaurants along with things to do around Hollywood and Los Angeles. When my friend and I arrived Amy greeted us at the front desk, welcoming us to the Roosevelt Hotel. The entire staff from the front desk, the guys at the valet parking, housekeeping and room service were outstanding. They couldn't do enough for us. Everyone at the hotel, especially Amy made our stay simply fantastic. The Roosevelt Hotel is the only place we would stay in Hollywood.

Downtown Los Angeles
It's a big place like Los Angeles, and the room is so small, I feel drunk too. It is too small to open the luggage, which is inconvenient to open. I specifically explained that I want a quiet room. The garbage truck on the street started to pull garbage less than 5:00 in the morning. The staff talked. I thought the window was not closed. As a result, there was no window for you to open. It was just a piece of glass with light. Just come in. A small refrigerator, placed on a shelf, but not in a cabinet. There is nothing in the refrigerator, but it is plugged in, and the operation noise is noisy all night. It will collapse when you live one day. No one will help you. Carry luggage. No one asks if you need help. Is this still Los Angeles I know? The beds are ok, moderately hard and soft. The location is good. It is convenient to walk everywhere, and around breakfast. Walking on HIlls street towards 3rd street, everything is there. May not stay here next time, unless there is no choice.

Los Angeles International Airport Area
Because of the proximity to the airport, the sound of the plane taking off and landing has never stopped, quiet is not enough, and I can sleep. The hotel room did not actively provide slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste. It was okay to call to ask the housekeeping to arrive. The bathtub has no glass door, just a plastic shower curtain. The shower faucet is fixed to the wall. There is a free shuttle to the airport 24 hours. The driver also helped to carry luggage up and down. The service was good.

My family has been using the Anza hotel for all of our trips to the Calabasas/LA area for the past 4 years or so, and we love it here. I hope we can continue to rely on the Anza for years to come. Beautiful rooms, superb location, and best of all they allow pets! The prices for rooms are very reasonable and they all have a nice "boutique feel" to them which adds something special. I want to add an extra note about my last stay here, which took place during the first days of the Covid-19 outbreak. I traveled alone without my husband and child to Calabasas/California because I needed to be with a gravely ill parent who soon passed away. Being able to stay in a comfortable hotel during this awful period was such a comfort to me, and I want to add that Ryan, who works at the Bistro restaurant and bar, was especially great to me during this time. Ryan prepared delicious meals for me, got to know me and my love for an evening glass of wine right away, and was a warm, friendly presence when I came home from the hospital at night (and in later days, came home to the hotel after days spent making final arrangements). Ryan and the team at the Anza who continued to work during the stressful days of Covid-19 "stay at home restrictions" were truly a blessing to me and I value, and am so grateful for, their work on the behalf of me and other guests who really needed a hotel stay for emergency reasons.

Everything was on point! All the staff were very accommodating! I arrived early Saturday and I was lucky to get a room early. Which helped a lot since we were on the go per our Soccer Tournament. When we needed a space to have our potluck in the evening they helped with our set up. Everyone was very friendly and customer service was amazing!
