|1.86km from city centerSelcuklu Konagi is in the old section of the city; cars do not have any access. The staff comes and picks up your luggage from where ever you parked your car at. It has the most beautiful view of the Mesopotamia Valley. It has a big terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast or tea/ coffee with the valley below. Extremely courteous and friendly staff. We stayed at the lower level which was less expensive since we did not have the valley view but I figured we were not going to stay in the room during the day anyways. Their breakfast is to die for! They serve everything you can think of for a breakfast . The city is magical, the hotel is superb! They close at the end of November and open up in March . If I am not mistaken they have only 10 rooms . So make sure to call them ahead of time to guarantee your reservation.

|2.13km from city centerWe were in bad weather conditions in Mardin, but the hotel staff and manager Tarık Mr welcomed us greatly, and we were on the road in the unseen cloud and over-sight rain, and they welcomed us and immediately offered hot tea. They really acted very intimately and sincerely in order to relax and be happy.. All staff were very interested and ridiculous.. There was no wonderful breakfast and health 🙏🏼.. We plan to go back in spring we will never stay in another hotel .. We were very happy and comfortable... We couldn't say goodbye to the Lord of the Historics when we left but I'm telling everybody here forever love and greeting again.. This world is so beautiful and good people turning to the glory of the face water, good you are 🙏🏼 Thank you sooookkk for your help on my aunt and on my behalf 🙏🏼

|1.67km from city centerI chose the suite at this hotel and had my own balcony and dining/lounge area with a view. It was very private because the use of the balcony was exclusive to ones staying at the upstairs suite. This building is almost 700 years old and located within the old city of Mardin, inhabited as early as 3000BCE. The staff was exceptionally hospitable and made everything comfortable, also spoke English well. One can order food and wine (that this area is know for) so it was nice to be able to dine in our private table and balcony. Breakfast was good, everything worked: wifi, tv, bathroom, airconditioning. Located within the old city, it was walking distance to the important places to explore. Be sure to let them know your arrival time in order to work out the logistics since parking needs to be planned and it would be easy to get lost in these winding streets. One needs to be in pretty good shape to walk around this city. I would recommend this hotel.

|1.04km from city centerWe had a wonderful stay at Maridin Hotel on our mum-daughter trip to Mardin which was to celebrate my daughter's graduation and my birthday. The reason I wanted to stay here was it's location on the less crowded side of the street 1 and beautiful pictures/videos on instagram (pictures don't do justice to it's actual beauty and feel) Thanks to everyone who work here, their welcome and hospitality made our stay very comfortable and memorable. Their enthusiasm and attentiveness deserve a payrise! We reached there just before midnight our airport transfer was arranged by the hotel, check in was swift and bags were taken to our room straight away, we stayed in a standard twin room, (Mum-daughter) the room is spacious, everything was impeccably clean, spacious shower room, hot showers anytime, the bed was comfortable so, (slept like a baby- or more like their sleep deprived mum!) AC worked well, good soundproofing, no noise from outside or any other disturbance, blackout curtains, the room was cleaned daily everything was perfect (everything was impeccably clean, ignore all the old reviews) Breakfast was served in a courtyard, fresh and delicious regional food presented beautifully by Husayn and Merve. I would like to thank everyone, some of the names I saved are Ahmed, Gokhan, Mehmet, Seda, Merve, Husayn, Bahar, Savaş, two similar looking brothers, the guy who came up to help with window and most of all Firat, who replied to any questions I had regarding booking and had our transfer arraged at a reasonable price which was my main concern as the ones I found online quoted ridiculous amount. The First (and lasting) impressions of the building. This hotel is not just an average renovation of any old building it's a masterpiece of restoration (everyone involved- ellinize sağlik) the doors, the keys, (impressive keys) antique furniture, interesting artwork display and the ceilings, stairs, courtyard, terrace, all adds to it's palatial grandeur. Views from the terrace are so captivating I didn't want to go anywhere else! if there was a swing on the terrace I would have spent most of my time there! (Maybe next time) No faults found, everything was excellent.

|1.61km from city centerWe loved this hotel! It’s like staying in a palace. People may be bothered in that your room may not have a window, but it did have an air conditioning unit. The bathroom is tiny and a bit cramped, but there’s good water pressure. The breakfast buffet was plentiful. The setting is magnificent with chairs outside where you can watch the sunset. Reception was very helpful in procuring a taxi/guide for us. Not for weak knees as there are lots of steps with no hand rails.

|2.07km from city centerTo stay in Merdin boutique hotel is simply unique lifetime experience. I stayed for 4 nights in this fantastic hotel and It was fully amazing experience. People are so friendly and helpful, stone rooms make you feel very local and comfortable, breakfast is amazing, Internet works properly and one of the best side is the clear and full view of Mesopotamia valley. Hotel is in oldtown and very close to everywhere -shops, atms, historical places. Simply just go and enjoy in max. There is one of my best place I have every stayed and travelled. Fully recommended without any doubt. 10 stars.

|1.38km from city centerOur staying in Mirsoum Hotel was perfect. The hotel is located in the center of old city, close of all shop and city places. The hotel is not directly on the main street, which makes it quiet (take into account that to access it there are some meters to walk and stairs to climb)
We slept in Room which is beautiful, big and very clean. (Suite Room / 101)
The Mirsoum team is very welcoming, helped us with our luggage, advice us for the shopping and place to visite. Hakke speak english and was very available for all our need. He presented to us a driver Mohamed, to visit places out of the city, good guy, we spent a good time with him. If you need, a driver doesn't hesited to ask to meet Mohamed. (Turkish speaker but Google translate is our friend:) )
And to finish, the breakfast was wonderful, the better breakfast that we took during our staying (We made 6 differents hotels.)
We slept In Mirsoun only one night, it's been a surprise and gift from my husband for our 4th wedding year . Perfect gift.

|1.66km from city centerThis is one of the most satisfying hotels I have been to travel around the world for 440 days. The hotel is located on the top of the old city of Malding and cannot be driven, but the hotel will send someone to carry the luggage up. I booked for two days and decided to stay for two more days. The hotel front desk actually took the initiative to give a 20% discount. The hotel is clean, beautiful and tasteful.
For me to be delicious, the biggest highlight of the hotel is the restaurant. Breakfast is not a buffet, but it is more refined and will make you eat until you are satisfied. In addition to the hotel's homemade food that can't be called by name, I also learned my preference from my driver and cooked lettuce for me to eat. The laundry at the hotel is free and very good.
Maldine is a real ancient city, the most distinctive Turkish city except Istanbul. The ancient and exquisite carvings on the stone of the old city building are tireless. Standing in the hotel, you can see the Mesopotamia Plain as a dream. History is recorded in the Maldingy car in the streets and lanes, as if it really returned to the millennium.
