The hotel is located on the 5th floor and there are no staff on the floor. The elevator needs a key to get up. So we were unable to do anything when we arrived, and we asked for help. It took almost half an hour to get to the hotel. depressed! The room was clean, but the mosquitoes were super! We stayed late, and the result was temporarily transferred to the bathroom outside the room, not very convenient. The hotel is indeed in the city center, but on the one-way street, playing Uber is very inconvenient, and the driver always takes a long time to arrive.

The hotel is located very close to Tahrir Square, the Egyptian Museum, and a few other old downtown highlights. While the outside of the building looks slightly dilapidated--clearly beyond the control of the hotel--the entrance to the hotel and the interior is nicely done and inviting. Staff are very kind, helpful, and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and have the essentials. In the dining area, complementary tea and water are on offer throughout the day. A few drawbacks: the street noise is very clearly heard from within the rooms (windows are not double paned), and Cairenes LOVE to honk for any and all reasons so you'll still feel very in touch with street life even within the hotel. Breakfast is rather mediocre: expect toast, hard boiled eggs, some jam, and a small cup of yoghurt, accompanied by tea or nescafe. The bedsheets are in serious need of updating (they are extremely rough and scratchy, making sleeping difficult). The bathrooms are an afterthought - just a corner in the room cordoned off by half-frosted glass, so it is recommended that you are very comfortable sharing all bodily functions with whomever you share the room. Despite a clear 'no smoking' sign at the front desk, staff still smoke in common areas (entry, dining area). We stayed in the room at the far end of the hallway (there are only six rooms) and could smell the smoke very clearly from inside our room with the door shut. When I went to pay for our room at checkout, one staff member sat directly in front of me smoking. I called him out on it, pointing at the 'no smoking' sign right in front of us, and he apologised profusely and moved away with his cigarette. I am 100% confident he resumed smoking inside as soon as we left. Some of the basics aren't looked after: the room we were given had no pillowcases on three of our four pillows, and only one towel. The rest of the linens were out at the cleaners, and since there was only one person on staff, we had to stand in for the staff at the front desk so they could run out and pick up the clean linen. Rooms don't come with soap, but we were given a bottle of liquid soap when we asked. Early checkin is USD 25 on top of the regular room charge. The staff offered to arrange a car back to the airport on our departure, quoting a price double of what we paid to get from the airport to the hotel in the first place. It is recommended to just take an Uber instead (EGP 100-125, depending on traffic and time of day). Overall, it's not a bad hotel, and the staff's kindness goes a long way to compensate for the weaknesses noted above.

The service was good and staff were friendly. They were able to answer any questions I asked. The main issue I had was the noise and checked out a night early. I wanted to sleep in the afternoon due to coming from a different time zone but it was too noisy with traffic in the area. I asked to move to a quieter room but they didn’t have.

In addition to the front desk brother's English is better, the people are more enthusiastic, other aspects are too bad. The room was small, there was a table and no chair, and the mirror was rotten. Stayed for six nights, no waiter did a health, hot water can be washed for five minutes, more than five minutes, the more water will wash and the colder. WiFi is very slow and you can't watch the video normally. The sound insulation of the room door is not at all. There is a hot water room next to the room I live in. There are many people coming to fetch water in the morning and evening. When you sleep, you feel that the water is flowing in your ear. Said that there is breakfast, in fact, you have to call him early in the morning to send it, I don't know what to eat. Free drinking water is not provided in the room. I am mentally prepared for hotels in North Africa, but I didn't expect it to be so bad. It is really speechless to find such a hotel on Trip.com.

When a person comes out to travel, see the geographical environment in advance, and know where to go and where to go according to their own interests. For the landlord's recommendation, you can choose the route you like, you can also refuse, they will not stalk, the route they recommend, the arrangement is really less detour, but the person who is afraid of the pit refuses, just come out Flowers still have to spend, for good service, you can give yourself a tip. So it was not as terrible as the previous commentators said. This hostel is still quite good. The facilities are old, but I don’t care at all, but I feel a sense of history. The whole of Egypt, with its own gas field, no one will be more harassed, so there is no need to be afraid, I am not afraid of a girl, what are you afraid of?

This is a great hotel for proximity to Cairo International Airport and good value for a 4 star. They supply a free shuttle service every 30 minutes to and from the airport that is only a 5-10 minute ride. The condition of the mini-bus was somewhat tired but it does the job. I used this hotel on my outbound journey whilst transferring flights and again on this inbound one. It is very good for its category level and has a very decent pool in a spacious courtyard area. For both my visits, all the staff were really amazing and accommodated my requests, in particular Noor on reception, who was a credit to the Accor brand.

This is the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in Egypt these days. It is in the villa area. It is very stylish, very clean, and very quiet. If you want to live in a downtown area for shopping, it is not suitable, but people who like quiet must be very I like it. The price is 300 to 400 RMB. It is much better than many Chinese B&Bs at the same price. However, all hotels in Egypt do not have combs, slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. You need to bring your own.

General impression - a normal place to stay for a few nights. Perfect location nearby Egyptian Museum and the Sadat subway station. But this causes a very noisy surrounding: honking cars move just beneath the windows all day long. Helpful staff. A very nice cafe La Poire accessible without leaving the building. Good breakfast, a lot of options changing daily. Coffee could have been better though. The room was cleaned (I moved two beds together and found no dust underneath), but it's quite weary. The window lock didn't work, the fridge was loud. Black mold in the shower was upsetting, too. No iron nor ironing board in the room, but ironing service available at a reasonable price about 50 EGP per piece.

Nice breakfast on one day. Clean room. Convenient location to train with good walkability. But I expected more from the staff's local knowledge. They had absolutely no idea where a post box was, even tho I'd seen one myself a few days earlier and simply couldn't remember its exact location. Then, no help whatsoever in mailing a postcard bc post offices would be closed for several days. One day's breakfast was disappointing compared to only the day before - the place was inconsistent. Great walking location also meant Uber driver had a difficult time reaching us at one point in the evening, and we walked to them after some confusion. Lively downtown area also means a LOT of street noise. Hotel's wooden floors, doors and hallways were incredibly loud at all hours, and staff was loud in the morning. Bring earplugs.

Stunningly beautiful hotel in well kept gardens. Truly was so stunning. I had booked a basic single room however my room was gorgeous. Lovely and bright with a balcony overlooking the gardens. The swimming pool was so lovely albeit cold as not heated. I took off a few points for amenities only because it was Ramadan so the swimming pool was surrounded by couches and access to the pool was difficult. In the morning staff were limited as they were probably up all night due to Ramadan. The cinema wasn't open and I had booked the hotel to go to the cinema. Overall I had a wonderful few days in the hotel and would live to experience this hotel outside of Ramadan. I paid extra for breakfast which was adequate, nothing special and I bought sandwiches at the bakery. I didn't actually eat in any of the restaurants.

The room was very beautiful. The hotel is situated in old buildings andhas old furniture but thats whats giving it its special spirit. The pool is avarage size-not big, not small and the deep is around 165cm. The water needs to be cleaned. But its very good for kids and also for adults. In the night there were swimming courses for kids from outside the hotel, which made the garden area very crowded and noisy. Our big thanks belongs to Mai from reception. The hotel is in a good location, right next to the Chinese Embassy. It is very convenient to go to various attractions. The doorway is a typical Egyptian street: the two sides are full of cars, leaving only one lane, taking a taxi to get off at a speed and not blocking a lot of cars. The only downside is that the hotel does not have breakfast.

+ Very good location, very clean, modern room, nice heated pool, very good selection of breakfast items, very friendly staff + they gave late check out for free till 4 pm when requested in the morning, very helpful as our outbound flight was in the evening - The directions at airport could have been better to take the trolley to the airport walk bridge (not hotel's fault). -The queue at checkout was long, so keep spare time aside to reach the airport check-in on time. - The key card stopped working at 12pm even though a late checkout was offered. I had to go to the reception to get it reactivated

Loved the Gabriel Miami!! Let me first start by saying customer service is superb! The minute We pulled up to the property We were greeted at the car with the bell man waiting to collect our bags and guide us to the front desk. Izzy who works at the front desk, had everything ready and waiting for our arrival, she was 10 steps ahead lol and I can appreciate that. Thank you Izzy!! They try their best to accommodate your requests. 5/5 for customer service and staff. Cleanliness of the room 5/5 and comfort 5/5. Did not like that the bar was close for the nights we stayed there so that really was our only con about our stay. I definitely recommend the Gabriel, two thumbs up!

Lovely smart hotel. Several restaurants. Massage and gym. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel nice sbd roomy. Rooms spacious. Would stay there again but if you want to be in the town centre with many shops you need to stay closer to city centre as this, was, about 30 minutes from airport. It didn't matter because everything is a short cheap taxi fare away. Also it's next to a military camp where you can see and hear the soldiers marching from your balcony. If the bugle noise bothers, you at 6am then maybe not for you. Also, but not related to the hotel you'll be woken up at 4am by the, wailing from the mosques but you can't really get away from that can you. The hotel I understand is, owned by the military and so you'll often see soldiers stay there. They weren't any trouble. In fact it made you feel safe.

The previous colleague was pitted in the booking, and it took half an hour to find a big tree haha. Then the temporary royal maadi, the three-bedroom and one-living suite is suitable for three people; the front desk can live nicely for a week and send snacks, and I continue to live here.

Decent staff & cleanliness, nightly rate is okay but they have a serious pricing issue, for example; - WIFI is free but you have to pay for water during breakfast!! - Coffee is double the price of tea!!

The hotel is about 20 minutes' drive from the airport. It looks like it should be a relatively long hotel, but fortunately it is clean, the location is good and the service is okay. You don't have to go out of the hotel to get to satars center. You can just turn the corner and go shopping. Very convenient to eat

Great place to base out of when visiting Cairo. The rooms are clean and the staff (especially Anas) are super friendly while doing whatever they can to make your staff in Egypt the best. They've got connections and can even help with making tour recommendations and reservations. Best of all, there is no pressure to take additional services if the price isn't what you had in mind. They're very accommodating . In fact they are more of a family run business while focusing more on you as a person and less as a customer. You'll come as strangers but leave as friends.

The check-in process was horrible, I was quoted a different price than the online price, my bed sheets smelled and had stains. WiFi was a joke ( supposedly they had internet problems). When I woke up the following morning trying to leave my room for breakfast, the door wouldn’t lock. Maintenance guy came to assist me almost an hour after I asked for help. My entire stay was just a nightmare!!!
