|0.17km from city centerI have been coming to Conti hotel for two years. I was very pleased when I first came in the summer of 2022. I was very satisfied this year. The employees are extremely attentive and relevant. We wanted to change our room due to the years coming from outside, they changed our room without any problems. I especially thank Mr. Yusuf. He is an extremely caring, sympathetic and gentleman employee. I think the breakfast is sufficient. Rooms ***et comfortable and clean. Sheets, blankets and towels ***et were clean. I wish you continued success.

I recently stayed at Met Boutique Hotel in Marmaris and had a mixed experience. While there were some positive aspects, there were also several disappointments that affected my overall satisfaction with the hotel. I would rate it as a three-star accommodation.
One of the main issues I encountered was the inadequate air-conditioning in our deluxe room. The room temperature remained uncomfortably hot throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. Despite notifying the staff about the issue, the problem was not resolved, and this greatly affected my comfort during my stay.
Additionally, I had requested in advance for the sofa bed to be prepared, but upon arrival, it was not done. This lack of attention to detail was frustrating, especially after a long journey. Furthermore, when I requested additional mattress sheets at night, they were not available, which was inconvenient and unexpected.
The hotel's address was not clear in the reservation instructions, and navigating the stone-grounded uphill streets of Marmaris with luggage was quite challenging. This lack of clarity made the arrival experience more difficult than it should have been.
The comfort of the mattress and pillows provided in the room was below par. They were noticeably uncomfortable, which affected the quality of sleep during my stay. This aspect could definitely be improved to enhance the overall guest experience.
On a positive note, the hotel's location and view were impressive. The scenic surroundings and proximity to attractions added value to the stay. Moreover, the cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, and the recent renovations gave the property a fresh and modern look.
However, it's worth mentioning that despite reserving a family two-bedroom room for four people, we were given two separate small rooms instead. This was not the arrangement we had anticipated, and it did not meet our expectations for a comfortable family stay.
In conclusion, Met Boutique Hotel in Marmaris had its share of disappointments. The issues with the air-conditioning, lack of prepared sofa bed, unavailable mattress sheets, unclear address instructions, uncomfortable mattress and pillows, and the incorrect room allocation were all factors that affected my overall experience. Nevertheless, the hotel's location, view, cleanliness, and recent renovations were positive aspects that should be acknowledged. If improvements are made in the areas of guest comfort and attention to detail, the hotel has the potential to provide a more enjoyable stay for its guests.

|1.45km from city centerReally puzzled by this hotel as I think that the incident with the restaurant manager affected our stay. So let me be fair and break it down in two: Pros: Cleaning personnel doing a great job and always with a smile keeping the hotel very clean Gokcen and the night duty lady at the front desk for being helpful and accommodating as well as implementing rules logically. Cons: Restaurant on site especially the staff in the afternoon. Breakfast attendant was nice but breakfast is very limited in choice and no standard choice except boiled eggs is available. Afternoon staff quite stingy as they do not allow you to even drink water from the fountain (one of the kids in the party experienced this!). In fact, the incident happened when this same kid got a bottle of water with him as we returned from a log day at the beach, only for us to be summoned and lectured by the afternoon manager to throw it away as the hotel has a strict policy of not allowing food from out side the hotel in the rooms even! Thank God Gokcen was there and explained to the guy that this would be fine, the idea being that you are not allowed to have food and drinks in the rooms not an open bottle of water! The guy must have dreamt he worked in a 5-star hotel and woke up implementing it. I would be fine with such a policy if what we wanted was available at the restaurant however, they operate on a very basic menu and it is our right to have our own stuff! Finally, other options are more welcoming however, I would come back for the cleanliness and location (but without breakfast :)

However the disadvantages we experinced that there was a lot of issues regarding payment to the Hotel so we payed at checkin without knowing if our booking was rejected or not. Maybe we was lucky? 1. Remark that the pool is very small 2. Parking issues however this has maybe nothing to with the hotel. The reception couldnt help us, However a local kind person helped us navigating to a nearby possible parking space This hotel is very close for your nightlife and experincinces regaring cafees or alocohol cafees! This is very nice if you are into this. It could be noise at night, but the hotel is also located very good to the local bars and nightclubs. Be aware that the single/double rooms are very small. Almost claustrophobic. At last we had an OK stay for a couple of days. There is also a big aqua park nearby! A lot of shops too.

|1.61km from city centerAbsolutely disgusting. doors and windows didn't lock, carpets were stained black, the aircon wasnt working and after many complaints still was not sorted at all so every night was hot, we also had around 6 powercuts, the food we ended up eating out as it was olives, chips and peppers for breakfast everyday and for tea was one set meal of rice and salad and a meatball again same everyday. The staff themselves even say how poor the standard is in the hotel, the owner apparently knows all of this but isnt bothered aslong as he gets his money off the tourists, there words not mine. The maintenance there wasn't any, the cleaner came in to our room 3 times in 2 weeks and only changed the bedding and towels, not one bit of actual cleaning and didn't even supply toilet roll. In marmaris as soon as it hits the tourist season they up the prices by 5x, this is no exaggeration. Its more expensive in Marmaris then it is in the uk. All the locals told me this is what happens. Very bad stay, very bad place. Also the beach is so packed with sunbeds you can barely see the sand. Rip off country. The place isnt the same anymore.

The food was amazing and the service on the beach was fantastic. Loved the beautiful evenings at the bar watching sunset and one of the nights we were treated to live local music making our experience even more wonderful. The setting is outstandingly beautiful; the design of the hotel is excellent and the rooms are spacious, perfectly fitted-out and luxurious. The fact that you can take a funicular from the hotel to the beach is really cool, and once down on the water the water taxis are a very fun way to travel between beaches, watersport activities and the varying restaurants. We enjoy mixing up our meals at each of the different restaurants when we visit, but always our highlight is the breakfast service in the main hotel. Halil leads the most charming and hospitable team. The choice in cuisine at breakfast is second to none, and the team is quick to assist and ensure you have everything your heart could desire. With the delicious food and drinks, and the attentive service and picturesque setting there is no better place/way to start your day. We recently enjoyed our third trip to the hotel and it only gets better with time, especially as we get to see the magical experience through the eyes of our young daughter now too. Thank you!

The staff was friendly and solution oriented. They made us feel at home. Meals were delicious. Rooms were clean and tidy. Looking at the clear sea at night and watching the stars is priceless. If you are looking for a place to relax, I recommend Baldan Suites. We were very satisfied and left happy.

I didn't have a kettle in my room but as soon as I asked for one they got it for me. My room I was given was above the restuarant so it was very noisy from chairs scraping on the floor feom 7.30am - 9.30am. I asked for another room and as soon as one become available I moved to a better room with pool view. The rooms don't get cleaned unless you put the to be cleaned sign on your door. The rooms have a fridge, free WiFi and air conditioning. The pool and pool area is great with plenty of sunbeds. The manager and staff were great and couldn't do enough for you. We met some amazing people around the pool who we had a really good laugh with. The breakfast is a turkish breakfast but you can get omelette and cereal so plenty of choice. The location is great with bars, restuarants, shops, supermarkets and bus stops right outside the hotel. It's a good 20minute walk to the beach but you can jump then number 3 dolmus or number 2 to by the harbour for 15 lira. Would 100% stay here again.

|1.29km from city centerMe and the wife stayed here our first and last time. We stayed for 2 out of 7 nights then moved back to Icmeler for our last 5 nights. The live band on for 2 nights were so loud we thought they were in our room on the 3rd floor so i can”t imagine how bad the 1st and 2nd floors must have been. Then there was a DJ on for the next 3 nights as well. When the band finished at approx 1230 am the bars loud music kicked in til late. The room was very small with very little storage and a small glass fronted fridge which shone all night. The sea-view was amazing with a fair sized balcony. Breakfast was good and plenty and typical Turkish which we liked. Some of the guests were rude and walked around as if it was a 5 star which it definitely was not. When we checked out they tried to charge us for a meal and drinks we hadn’t had and we had to show proof that we had not. Would we go back? a BIG NO

|0.76km from city centerWe have been coming to this hotel for many years now. The 1st time was when our son was conceived (lol) then known as the Elif Mar, 25 years ago! The update which this hotel has had over the years is great. As of late the decor in the bedrooms do need updating, but you can get by. The main reason we come back to this hotel is because of the location, the friendly atmosphere among the staff with us and also the cleanliness of our rooms. The reception staff are extremely attentive to your needs if you have a problem or a request. They will go above and beyond their call of duty. The housekeeping will do anything for you, I had a torn blouse and they repaired it without charge, no problem, done within 30 mins. The bar staff are happy and very chatty with you, asking about you and letting them know abt themselves too. If you are all inclusive, ok, the food can get a bit repetitive if your staying for 2 weeks, but there are so many varieties, bearing in mind it is not your 5 star from Spain were you get amount fulls of dishes. It is a small boutique hotel adults only, not a big hotel. The drinks are all inclusive but not on exported ones, as well as cocktails. In all we will be staying in this hotel again, it is right on the beach, free sunbeds and towels on the actual beach.

|2.65km from city centerWe have just returned from our holiday at the Kaya Maris Hotel. What a nice place, everyone was so friendly. The hotel is in a fantastic location for the beach, shops, and bars. There is a bus that takes you to Marmaris for 20 lira also another bus which takes you to Icmiler for 25 lira. This bus is at the top of the road just a 3 minute walk away. When you arrive at the hotel Tony the rep, will go through everything with you, where it is best to go, some nice recommendations for restaurants, places to watch the football etc. Tony will also sort out your return transfer for you, just WhatsApp him with your return flight and transfer reference, he will sort it for you. The food at the hotel was nice, typical all inclusive, they cater for everyone. The Dolphin bar at the pool is great, they will try and make any drink you want. Our room was cleaned every day. Clean towels daily. The pool is an ok size, we managed to get a few lengths swimming in. I would recommend the Spa, we had a Turkish bath, full massage, and reflexology, all lovely. It was perfect for my achy back. There isn't any entertainment at the hotel, but there is so much in the evenings to do around there it didn't really matter. My husband and I will go back to this hotel. It was a lovely relaxing time.

|8.86km from city centerWe stayed in an apartment (or suite) 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, all rooms were beautifully decorated, we had everything we needed. Initially stayed for 5 nights but loved it so much extended to 7 nights. Food is lovely, breakfast is a leisurely affair, ordered lunch by the pool, never ate here in the evening as preferred to go further afield into the Village where there are plenty of lovely places to eat. Service could be a bit hit and miss with the language barrier but we managed to eventually get what we ordered. Like others I almost didn't want to leave a review (?) as we'll be coming back for sure and would like to keep it a bit secret !! It's a very laid back vibe, nothing too much trouble, sat by the pool watching the Mountain goats run down to their keeper (if that's the right word) was happy not to venture out in the day time, just wanted to chill out. Reception would book taxi's for you if needed and they run a free transfer down the hill to the village should you need it - we'd of gone back again in a few weeks if we had the chance but sadly Turkey is now off the list, such a shame, look forward to seeing you at least a couple of times next year - Just perfect !!!!

The hotel is perfectly located, and only a few minutes walk from the beach and marina with a plethora of restaurants and beaches to choose from. The room and bathroom were very clean with daily housekeeping. The breakfast served traditional Turkish breakfast with cheeses, cured meats, eggs any style, crepes, spreads and fresh fruit n veg. The staff are the kindest and most welcoming. The hotel represents great value for money and I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again! Room 206 has a balcony overlooking the street and a drying rack.

All staff at the hotel and bar gave excellent service and again nothing was too much trouble. The beach just a couple of minutes away with free sun beds. Pool area clean and tidy with beds and large sun umbrellas giving brilliant shade. Would certainly recommend and hopefully will go again next year.

Facilities are excellent, the resort is enormous with lots of pools and the beach a stones throw away. The rooms are lovely, a bit dark but other than that spacious and well designed and comfortable. The food is healthy with enough choice for me but some may find it restrictive if they dont like healthy options. The animation team were nice and my kid enjoyed playing with them. Negatives The staff personally to me were not very nice, they didnt go beyond a hello, sometimes they ignored me, other times i had them letch over me making me feel very uncomfortable e.g getting a drink at the bar, sitting by the pool so basically anywhere during the day. The turkish people were served really well so the only thing i can think is wrong with me is that im english or a woman so try not to be english or a woman if you can help it!! Wifi was intermittent after the first few days. There was an event on which included a sit down meal but no one was told this so i ended up waiting until 8pm to realise food would be a long time with no child options and so was forced out to eat. Not great when you paid for all inclusive buffet! All inclusive here is a bit restrictive, they set so many times for when things are open that it can get confusing so i tended to stick to the main restaurant timings as to not get told to leave because im early. It could be that its end of season so they closed a lot of things or understaffed many of the food places. This place has a lot of potential but i suspect that due to the age of the hotel they wont be changing anytime soon, it works for them. If you like 5 star facilities and do t mind the negatives the. This place is a great, cheap option for a nice holiday. Turkey is a lovely country!

This is only my second all-inclusive stay ever, but from start to finish, the hotel and it’s staff were incredible. The hotel is super clean, the room I had was overlooking the sea in the middle section with a balcony that catches the light most of the day. When I was shown into my room arriving at 2am after a long journey, Eyturk was super helpful and I was blown away by the quality of the room and the incredible view. I was just getting into my hols, when, on day 3, I broke my foot. This could have been the end of my good times, but thanks to the standards of Sea Star and exceptional customer service of all the teams there, this unfortunate event, was far from the nightmare it could’ve been in some establishments. A MASSIVE THANKS to everyone who works at Sea Star, with especially big appreciation to: Tanar and his team in the restaurant. When I returned from the hospital in shock, Tanar arranged to have meals brought up whilst I recovered for over a day after the accident. His team are excellent. So helpful, so many smiles and they cannot do enough for you. Thanks to Ahmet for every day appearing as if by magic to help me with the buffet service and trying to teach me Turkish words as we went around; Bahar for her kinness, bringing me meals whilst I recovered from my accident in my room and encouraging me back in the restaurant! And Barış and everyone else for reading my mind and getting to know what I needed before I did. You guys are great: Ahmet, Ali, Bahar, Barış, Hamit, Mehmet, Mehmet, Sulleyman and Yusuf, thank you. And for all the Turkish classes – what an added bonus! 😊 All the amazing chefs and kitchen team for the wonderful food they produced day after day. Turkish night on Friday was a particular favourite. Big thanks to my other buffet helpers: Aybek, Hassan and Mert who would arrive plate in hand to help me with the buffet. (Crutches and buffet plate selection aren’t a great mix, but they worked this out before me and got involved to help, as well as Ahmet). I was so grateful for this personal service and it was nice to connect with the restaurant and chef teams as a result. Food-wise, there is an amazing selection of mezes, salads, hot foods and sweets every day. Don’t miss the grill – I didn’t find this for my first week! The sweets are to die for – desserts of all colours of the rainbow – well done chefs, plus an abundance of fruits. My room - Yelisss!.. for keeping my room spotless and organised, and for being such a sweetheart looking after me with her towel animals when I was feeling a little down, and for her lively, upbeat, bubbly presence everyday… not to mention her wonderful Turkish pronunciation classes. Iyi Gunlaaaaaaarrrrr! Aleyna and the whole front of house crew. Aleyna particularly for helping me out with all sorts of extra tasks that a broken foot entailed, helping me with the nurse visit, getting breakfast

The staff were very helpful and friendly, on arrival one of the staff took our bags upstairs, showed us the way and switched the fridge on.Bathroom was a godd size too with powerful shower.Someone else commented on it saying there was no hot water- there is but you just need to let water go for a bit longer ( not eco friendly though).Breakfast - fresh bread,boiled eggs, feta- like cheese, tomatoes, fresh cucumber, olives,cereals,Turkish ham,honey - all in all - good. Pool area clean again,pool bar bit pricey for drinks in comparison to other bars.No WiFi in the room, only in reception and by the pool( two different networks so have to ask for a password at the bar separately) which was a shame. The hotel itself is in a great location, central to everything- but because of this is surrounded by bars and loud music up to 1- 2am.So if you spend nights on clubbing, returning to the hotel late this is not an issue.For us it was, as even with closed windows you could hear the music not from 1 but at least 3 clubs.Once the music stopped, after a few hours younwerw woken up by the traffic,deliveries, bin man etc.Overal we had a good stay, but would not return due to the noise.

|1.44km from city centerI really don't know how people can slag this hotel? It was mostly Turks/ Muslims, who should have asked did the hotel supply what they are moaning about. For me and my friends I found the hotel as good as it gets, balcony after meal for a drink, bedroom clean and sheets evry day, staff great, management bending over backwards to accomadate requests. Tables immediately cleaned after messy people + sweeping of floor. I and my friends had a great time + there were cafe's within 100 yards to watch Rugby which was great.

- breakfast is not luxurious, but very edible
Minuses:
- no private parking (but out of season you can always find it on the street not far from the hotel)
- old and small TVs in the rooms - only cable channels work, no youtube/netflix/Android tv and other internet services
- weak water pressure in the shower and a watering can in the shower without modes - I would like to see this in a hotel with a spa prefix :-)

According to the hotel staff, no pets are allowed, which is contrary to what was stated when booking. We travel with our dog and have specifically looked for hotels where pets are allowed and welcome. When we showed this to the employees, they didn't refuse to let us and our dog, of course, and so we had two very nice days there.
We would love to visit this hotel again.

|2.24km from city centerI stayed at the Poseidon hotel in July this year with a friend an we had a great time! Everything was excellent - our room was clean and comfortable, the food was amazing, both Turkish and international cuisine, and our free time was filled with lovely activities organized by DJ Burak - we enjoyed water fitness, yoga classes, table tennis and darts tournaments, and great music played by the hotel swimming pool. Great cocktails and snacks made our stay at the beach and by the swimming pool more complete. We were never bored and never hungry! :) The staff is polite, fun and always ready to help. The real Turkish hospitality! I would definitely like to repeat this experience.

|0.66km from city centerThere were 12 of us, all mixed ages from toddler to 58. The hotel was always clean. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Pool area and bar were exceptional. Our room was cleaned daily. The only thing i would agree with on the negative reviews is it’s not 4 star quality as us brits know it but we couldn’t fault it. We ate out a lot but there was always something we could have eaten if we had wanted. They catered for children. The bar staff were always polite and couldn’t do enough for us. The alcoholic drinks were perfect and not watered down at all. If anything they have triple measures! The hotel rep sorted all out trips and we got some fabulous deals. However there are two sides to this hotel and the side for adult only is run down. We were in the other side as we had children with us. So ignore all the negativity. If you want a nice, relaxed traditional Turkish holiday The Munamar beach resort is perfect and for the price you can’t really grumble. We paid £780 for 10 days flights and holiday. If you want luxury then obviously this isn’t the hotel for you.
