After a very sunny day at the beach, we were happy to get to the hotel. The front desk staff was very pleasant and they offered a choice of cookies as a small welcome. We chose oatmeal cookies and were surprised by how delicious they were. As a tea drinker, I was also happy to see an excellent choice of Bigelow teas in the lobby. Our suite was very comfortable, with a living room that was separate from the bedroom. Everything was simple and comfortable and very clean. Breakfast buffet was included, and is served on weekends til 10:30. This helped us have a relaxing morning. The choices were quite typical, but somewhat more variety than is often the case (waffles, fresh fruit, oatmeal, cold cereal, bacon, sausage, etc). More important, the scrambled eggs tasted fresh and delicious, the muffins also tasted fresh and delicious, the orange juice tasted especially good, and I was again happy to have a choice of teas made with hot water that was in a container that was not previously used for coffee. (If that sounds like an odd statement, you probably are not a tea drinker.) We never stayed at a Country Inn and Suites before, and now we will again.

I have so many great things to say about the service I received at this hotel. It was amazing. The rooms were newly renovated and they are very spacious. It had that newly carpet smell. The foyer of the hotel was really nice. My husband and I had the chance to watch the Super Bowl in our on little cubicle and we were assisted with fabulous drinks 🍹 from the bar from Taylor and Pam. I wanted Baylis with my coffee and Taylor NAILED it. When I first checked in, Rochelle was very kind and approachable. She made sure that I had extra towels and feather free pillows. Basically, she matched our energy. We laughed and joked until I knew that this was the place for the next 7 days. The gym was very clean and they had new machinery. I usually don’t use the hotel gym but it had everything I needed along with the cleanliness. My husband had a lot to say about the staff as well. He enjoyed conversing every morning with the cook Diana. He said her burritos were to live for. He was excited every morning to eat his freshly made breakfast. If you were thinking about staying here, think no longer! It’s the place to stay in Annapolis. Oh, last but not least when I was checking out I met the GM and it was indicative that The Apple 🍎 don’t fall far from the tree!” Her staff was marvelous due to them having a great leader. Thanks Courtyard Staff for making our stay one to remember!!!

Perfect location in Downtown Annapolis We were here for a show at Maryland Hall and it was a short walk. Also conveniently located to Rams Head on Stage in the other direction. Check in and check out was quick and easy. We were in a room on the fourth floor. Room was clean and nicely decorated. No complaints! If you stay--be sure to check out the restaurant here and also go brunch or breakfast at Shirleys!

Overall, the surrounding environment is also good, dining and shopping are convenient. But the room is not big, saying that the standard room is allowed to sleep 4 people, but a bed is about 1.3m. It is still difficult to sleep two people. Two people can live in one room, 3-4 people, and they are crowded. Our family of three traveled, and one room slept all night, feeling too crowded, and made up a room the next day, everyone can rest better.

The Hampton Inn & Suites in Annapolis is by far the friendliest and with the most helpful staff. Our recent stay was very relaxing and we were constantly surprised by the staff, they were always around to provide assistance. After I had entered our room I was holding the room door open waiting for my wife when a staff member stopped to inquire if I was having problems with the door and offered to prop it open for my wife. Then the next morning when my wife (mobility challenged) went to get her breakfast in the breakfast lounge she dropped a piece of food from the buffet tray and immediately a staff member was there to clean-up, followed by a Hampton Inn staff member deliver her assembled meal to the room for her. Stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Annapolis for a pleasant experience.

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights while attending a family wedding. Pros: -Kitchen with full size fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave. (But no dishes or cooking pans.) -Front desk still manned at 10 pm when we needed to get new key cards. - Staff was professional and helpful. Cons: -Closet did not have bar for hanging clothes and I had no choice but to drape our dresses over the half wall separating kitchen from main area. -No bedside lamps. The only light in the main area was next to the sofa on the other side of the room. -There was a gap between the counter top and rim of sink in the bathroom. -A/C unit air was directed straight onto the bed with no way to redirect it. -Worst free “breakfast” I have ever seen. Coffee, tea, hot cocoa packets, oat meal packets, 3 or 4 bagels or muffins (the container was labeled bagels and I could see a few things in it but didn’t open to look, my daughter said they were muffins), and a hand full of granola bars. -Upon returning late after the wedding reception neither of our key cards worked and we had to go down for new ones. - Side entrance was supposed to be locked at night for security but was taped to remain unlocked. - Only three pillows on our queen size bed. I believe this could be a nice hotel. The room was a nice size. The location was good. I noticed molding along the floor behind the front desk was missing and wondered if they were doing a remodel. Our room appeared recently painted (with over spray in several places), the headboard looked new, closet and bathroom doors looked new. The lack of hanging bar and bedside lamps could be due to putting the room back in service before it was completed. But I question why they would not completely refurbish the room. The bathroom sink and vanity were old. The counter top had a big crack in it and the recessed bowl was not connected to the counter leaving a quarter inch gap. Bedside lamps are a necessity. And while I usually don’t use the closet, in this case I needed it. As far as the breakfast goes, if that is all you are going to provide, don’t bother. If no free breakfast is advertised then people know to make other arrangements.

Sonesta Annapolis is one of the best extended stay hotels I have ever stayed for a length of time. The rooms are large and spacious. I had plenty of room for my luggage and the closets are larger than many hotels for storage and clothing for those who have longer stays. The furniture is up to date and the bed was comfortable. I am in a studio queen and as my stay is a few months I added a few home-feel touches. The staff, operations director and sales managers are first class individuals. I hosted a private business lunch and they helped me greatly to make this business luncheon a success! The staff will go out of their way to accommodate you as best as possible and will help you to make the stay comfortable. Housekeeping is clean and the towels are soft and white. The area is quite during the day and evening. The laundry facility is clean, and the machines are up to date. I feel very safe as a female traveler. I am one that does not like to write reviews, however, I decided to write one as I am please beyond measure of the service I have received during my stay. Hope you enjoy your stay if you select to stay at Sonesta Annapolis! Signed, (Shawn) A Commercial Developer

Hilton inn express Annapolis Maryland review The good way overpowers the bad, so I’m going to start there. I got this for $73 a night on Priceline. A huge room with a king-sized bed, a pullout couch, plenty of desk space, a small kitchenette which consists of a microwave, a sink, a good -sized refrigerator, and cupboards. The bathroom is large with a walk-in shower. Everything is super clean. I find that rare. Super friendly and helpful front desk and cleaning staff. Every single one of them. The bed was very comfortable, with awesome pillows. And many of them. You can control the heat and air conditioning with a digital unit on the wall. Super quiet unit. They actually wash the comforters! I went down to get some new towels and the attendant took me to the laundry/supply room and I saw heaps of dirty comforters in a bin and I asked her if they actually washed the comforters. They do! I personally think that should be required of every hotel! One of the best gyms I’ve ever seen at a hotel. Treadmill, elliptical, bike, a bench, free weights, yoga mats, resistance bands. You can turn the air down and it cools the room off super quick. Such an excellent hotel, that I hate to even mention any issues. But, a few things bothered me, and they may bother you as well, so I will share them. The first issue is that there is no place to hang your towel, not even a hand towel. OK, well let me correct that. There is one towel rack which acts as the handle of the shower door. And there’s a dual hook on the back of the bathroom door, but the hooks are so close together you can only hang one towel on them and so short that a towel will not stay on them. That’s it. This is a king-sized suite, so that means it sleeps at least three people. There is a vanity with a long counter, and plenty of space for some towel racks. My daughter goes to college in Annapolis, so I will stay here again, but I will pick up one of those over-the-door rack of hooks at the Dollar Tree for the bathroom first. The shower doors do not slide easily. The fan in the bathroom is connected to the light, so when you turn the light on, you turn the fan on. And that’s a great idea, because people will not remember to turn the fan on, and that causes mold. So I do not blame them for making it non-optional. However. The fan is SO INCREDIBLY LOUD that you cannot have a conversation if the light is on. You cannot listen to the news while you get ready. You cannot have a phone conversation It’s overpowering. This impacted my ability to multi-task, which affected my work. The toilet has a very powerful flush, so be sure to put the lid down or it will spray you and the floor. The shower is a clear glass door, so this means no sharing the bathroom unless you are a couple and don’t mind the exposure. Installing a shower curtain would allow someone to get ready at the sink at the same time. There are several stains on the carpet. Water pressure in the shower is great, but the w

My family and I reserved a room here for a family wedding taking place in the area. Upon arrival at the hotel, we noticed the check-in counter area and the elevator were dirty and looked like they had not been swept/vacuumed in days. When we got to our room there was an overwhelming stench like old stale cigarettes. The counter in the bathroom was stained and damaged and there was only one half-empty roll of toilet paper with no extras on hand. Having severe asthma, within about 30 minutes of being at the hotel I began to experience shortness of breath due to lingering cigarette odors. When we left the hotel to get dinner we heard people fighting in the lobby, threatening to have people ”locked up”. Between the health issues I was having and feeling unsafe there with our two children, we promptly decided to check out of the hotel. This hotel needs a complete renovation to rid itself of the years of cigarette odors, I do not recommend this hotel at all.
