The breakfast is ok, because I have lived before, so I know it is not as good as before, the rooms are clean, and the waiters are good, but the bar is really difficult to communicate, can I study English seriously? I feel like they don’t understand if you hurry up hahaha

POSITIVE : - The proximity to Masjidil Haram and the Holy Kaaba. - Sufficient size of room for a family NEGATIVE : Restaurant - Have been travelling around the continent for many years, this was the WORST hotel service we have ever had. - We were SHOCKED for having the staffs, particularly restaurant staffs, were so RUDE, UNFRIENDLY and ARROGANT. None of them wore smiles while serving guests. - The staffs THREW plates and cutleries, BANGING trays, moving chairs rudely with guests were still around them. - They served all guests with PLASTIC spoon and fork. They literally served guests dining like serving workers. - Even a couple of them, having EARPHONE on their ears, talking on the phone while serving breakfast like nobody see them. We were terribly shocked to find that kind of ARROGANCY. - The hotel as if hiring a group of GANGSTER working at the restaurant. Room - We were given a room right in the corner, among the rooms that were having renovation projects. - The dusts, noises, and the filthy dirty surroundings were out of our imagination. The experience that was completely different from the Le Meridien, not far away from this hotel, where I am the member of their Marriott membership. We did not want to make so much noise about those experience as we came here for worshipping and prayers. But seriously, we do hope that the management will do something about their service culture.

Dorrar Al Eiman Royal Hotel

Has a great location connected to another hotel for which they share entrances. It has Two entrances, one with elevators where you will enter the hotel with your luggage. The location for this is a little hard to find if you haven't been before so you may need to ask someone as taxi drivers will just point towards a location and drive off, i think they could do with better signage directing people to the lifts or the porters. The porters are very helpful as they will come to the road to collect your luggage. The second one is via escalators which will take you straight onto the courtyard of the haram. These escalators will also take your through a shopping centre and food court where they will have mostly desi and international cuisine, you will have to go into zam zam tower for the KFC hardees and mcdonalds The drop off point is a busy location and cars cannot stay long esp at salah times so we were rushed off the tax Has a very large lobby area with lots of seating,12 elevators are available for us which makes it very handy and we had no issues with noise disturbance even though we were very close to the set of elevators. Rooms are spacious and clean and room service does a good job, it has a kettle and tea etc but no cups. We were expected to drink tea from a glass which I found strange. Really good for families with young kids as everything is close by, I took kids 3, 6 and 8 years old alongside elderly mother. Zam zam tower is directly next door and you can get quick access to it avoid the mass traffic heading to the haram Breakfast needs improvement fruit juice provided is actually cordial/dilute drink and most of the cuisine is catered for the international community i would say, they should consider the dietary requirements of brits, we don't all have liver and shawarma for breakfast On a positive note they have a chef making omelettes from 6am to 10.30am, pastries galore, lots of cheeses, and a toaster If travelling with family i suggest you get a cheap 1 week sim card each , it should cost around 30 riyals or less. You will need a visa at hand to get this. You should find individuals selling these on small carts outside the hotel. If not then walk into the zam zam tower and they will direct you to the vendors at the back. I would most definitely return and stay at this hotel 100%

Our stay had been extremely pleasant and truly satisfied with the amenities provided. Just a walking distance to Masjidil Haram. Ahsani has helped to collect our baggages from our room to be transferred to the bus. Very helpful, friendly and reliable. Thank you for the great service and keep up the good work.

Pullman ZamZam Makkah
Makkah | 0.41km from Masjid al-Haram
The location of the hotel was excellent, very close to Haram. The service was really fast and efficient. The rooms although, were slightly old and felt used and not as “clean” as some of the other clock tower hotel rooms. Also the amenities in the bathroom can be improved by adding more like toothbrush toothpaste were not included which we expected. Also there was no blow drier or oven in the room to heat up food items. These improvements can lead to a better experience and for us to book again with Pullman Zamzam.

4.0/5Very Good
I usually stay a lot closer to the haram during my visit to Makkah, but during Ramadhan the prices rocket so I've had no other option but to find a clean tidy hotel at a reasonable price. I stayed here many times before (all during Ramadhan). The hotel is around 10 mins from the Haram by car. You cannot walk it from the hotel to the haram (not walkable distance, plus it goes through the mountain tunnels). You can get a taxi for around 10 rials to the haram, but on the way back it can be slightly more - around 15-20 rials (just keep haggling). From the drop off point, it's around 10 mins walk. The hotel does run a shuttle bus for free, but I've never used it simply because of the timing. The shuttle bus drops you at the coach station area which leads the footpath to Mount Marwa side of the haram. Don't bother looking for the shuttle bus from the haram to the hotel, it's a total nightmare and chaos during salah times so better off just taking a taxi. The rooms are clean, tidy and quite. The room service is horrible, they never clean your room despite several requests. The AC is good and blows cold air. A number of lifts, so you don't get stuck waiting around for ages. Due to it's location, it's not busy like the hotels right next to the haram. There are number of restaurants nearby and also a bin Dawood at walking distance. When you want to get a taxi from the haram and don't speak arabic, just tell the driver ”Makaram al bait, khareeb Bin Dawood”, this has worked for me each time - they will know exactly where you want to go. Like i said, don't pay more than 15 rials.. There is also a masjid very close to the hotel if you end up missing the prayer at the haram.
Hotel Name: Elaf Al Mashaer Location: Makkah, on Ajyad Road, 400 meters from Masjid Al Haram Star Rating: 5 Booking Source: Agoda website Cost: Approximately USD 93 / SAR 335 per night for a Quad Room (Room Only basis) Facilities: • Convenient access to cars for Masjid Al-Haram • Nearby Pakistani restaurant, grocery store, and gift shops • Well-appointed prayer room with Haram-facing view and connected sound system • 5-star facilities available Pros: • Impeccable cleanliness throughout • Comfortable bedding • Attentive and courteous staff • Exceptional value for the prime location Cons: • Some facilities especially at toilets showed signs of age • WiFi Speed was too slow Additional Benefits: • Laundry service and other 5-star amenities Recommendation: Yes, I would recommend Elaf Al Mashaer, and plan to stay again soon.
The rooms are clean and neat. But compared to family room it was small and lighting was less. The room service was good and cleaning staff was very good. The cleaning is very good. The concierge service also was very good. Location is very close to Masjid. I took this because I had kids. Also close to the food stalls. Difficulty was to reach the hotel by taxi and no parking. While checking out Mr. Moidu helped us to reach the nearest taxi point to reach our car in Kudai parking. I would recommend the hotel, stay, staff and service is excellent
Nice hotel near the haram..and excellent room service. Very helpfull and kind staff. Good service. Also good foodNice and clean accomodations. Thanks kawsar.shuttle service is excellent.value for money. Highly recommendable hotel.
It's a very neat hotel. Very close to Haram, and there is free bus service to and fro Haram. It is easier to connect and save you money on transport while performing your Hajj or Umrah.
The services I received are topnotch and very accommodating and understanding members of staff.
The hotel is a very good place to lodge for solo or group travellers in Mecca
