We stayed at the Castello Hotel for 2 nights. It is not suitable for those who are looking for luxury, but it is perfect for those who like us want to spend a night at the stadium, because the hotel is about 20 minutes walking from the Alliance stadium. Breakfast buffet satisfies the taste of everyone in sweet, salt and fresh fruit. The rooms are a little ”vintage” but the cleaning is excellent! nice and available staff. I recommend!

Un 4 stelle da tre stelle servizio 0 Sono 7 anni che soggiorno a Torino e tra tutti i miei soggiorni 4 stelle non mi era mai capitato questo che racconto e che allego anche con foto. Appena arrivata in Hotel alle ore 1030 solo per poter depositare i bagagli (perché mi era stato già comunicato che per il chek anticipato dovevo pagare ulteriore somma!!) dopo un timido buongiorno mi si dice “MA è UN PO PRESTO VENIRE ADESSO” ad ogni buon conto mi dicono che per fortuna possono darmi una camera appena pulita al sesto piano. Appena entrata noto la camera piccola con un solo comodino e nel bagno asciugamani e saponi solo per una persona ! Ho provveduto a chiamare la signora delle pulizie nel corridoio spiegando che era una matrimoniale per due e mi sono fatta dare il necessario. Questi giorni a Torino la temperatura era bassa ed anche con pioggia ed ho notato spifferi dalla finestra balcone. Ho lasciato la camera alle 1130 e sono rientrata alle ore 1630 notando che la camera era fredda ho riposato per mezzora ma mi sono svegliata per il freddo il riscaldamento era spento ho provveduto a chiamare la reception descrivendo il problema e mi hanno prima risposto provvediamo subito, poi mi hanno richiamato dicendo che la normativa dell’hotel prevedeva che l’accensione era dalle 1930 fino alle ore 00 !!! pertanto se avevo freddo potevano portarmi una stufa e delle coperte!!!! UN 4 STELLE!!!! E pertanto anche nel bagno il termosifone era spento quindi potevo fare la doccia solo dalle 1930!!!!!!!! LE NORMATIVE IN PIEMONTE CI SONO MA CI SI DEVE ASSICURARE MINIMO 13 ORE !! Ho spiegato anche che ho invalidità ma mi è stato risposto “non possiamo fare nulla non potevamo prevedere questo freddo!” Colazione scarsissima !!!!!! anche qui allego foto di un buffet scarso!!! Ho chiesto un cornetto vegano e mi hanno risposto che dovevo aspettare 15 minuti per averlo e che dovevo avvisare !!!!(si trovano in tutti i bar) e per una premuta di arancia o prendevo il SUCCO di arancia che fornivano loro o dovevo pagare 5 euro per la premuta!!!!!. Detto questo questo Hotel solo fumo tanta arte ma una delusione dormire con due coperte e stufa in un quattro stelle !!!!!!!!

This hotel is a great option in Turin. Close to Porta Nuova train station and a 10 to 15 minute walk from the main attractions of Turin. The hotel is showing it's age a little bit but stay a very good value. The breakfast is awesome. The roof top deck and pool area doesn't open until June so keep that in mind if you're looking forward to rooftop cocktails (they should open the deck up early). Our second stay here. Overall a great spot to stay in Turin.

Ho prenotato 2 notti in questo hotel per 183 euro, colazione inclusa. L'impatto appena arrivato non è stato molto positivo per alcune ragioni che provo a sintetizzare: - Reception: Appena arrivato, alla reception c'era un signore che mi ha solamente chiesto un documento e mi ha dato la chiave dicendo di scendere più tardi per riavere il documento. Non mi ha spiegato nulla sulla colazione e non ha aggiunto altro. La verità è che c'era il cambio turno, perché appena sceso c'era un'altra signora molto gentile che mi ha spiegato tutto sulla colazione e mi ha dato informazionituristiche. Non è stato un problema, ma non è molto professionale. - La stanza: La stanza era piccola, ma essendo da solo andava bene. Purtroppo però, era datata. C'erano lampade in tessuto ingiallite, muri riverniciati ma con un palese bisogno di ristrutturazione. La serratura della porta non funzionava bene. La manopola del lavandino si staccava se la si girava un po' di più. Il sapone in stanza era una micro boccetta più una bustina: mi è dovuto bastare per 2 notti ma per stare sicuri, consiglio di portarne un po'. Dotata di frigobar, anche questo vecchissimo è mezzo scassato, e di un climatizzatore che però non rinfrescava. - Colazione: La colazione viene servita nel seminterrato ed è continentale, devo dire abbastanza varia ma non sempre con prodotti freschi (come le albicocche sciroppate). Tutto sommato, la colazione è stato un fattore positivo. - Posizione: La posizione dell'hotel è a due passi a piedi dalla stazione di Porta Nuova, molto comoda anche per andare in centro a piedi. - Prezzo: come detto, 183 euro per due notti con colazione inclusa. Secondo me, considerando che la struttura è vecchia, il prezzo è un po' alto. Insomma, se cercate un punto di appoggio per un paio di notti va bene. Come viaggiatore solitario non avevo molte pretese. Certo però, il prezzo non corrisponde esattamente alla qualità della stanza e della struttura in generale. Per soggiorni più lunghi, onestamente, lo sconsiglio.

It is an old hotel with a little backward elegance and the keys in heavy boxes that you must leave in the hotel when you go out for a tour. The rooms are clean and spacious, staff is kind and available. The location is in the centre of the city, next to the most attractive attractions of Torino. The only neo is that if you come in the car you have to park in the side silos that costs well 24 euros/day. Despite the tram passing right below I have sleeped well, the rooms are well soundless. Breakfast is normal, with discrete choice of sweet and salty foods.The hotel has a Puglia/Piemonte tractor which we have not tried. I therefore have no too many claims but absolutely convenient to choose as a base for Torino.

The hotel has a different concept than normal hotels. They have two floors for tourists and the rest houses students who come to the city. It is very well located, you can walk to the Historic Center. Our room had a view of the Po River and was clean, spacious, with a balcony, and the bathroom was equally clean, with supplies and hair dryer. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. They offer a breakfast that is not very varied, but the price of 5 euros is fine with the offer. The building is on a busy road intersection, and one of the nights it was quite noisy. In general we were very good and we appreciate the attention received.

Excellent hotel for our four-day stay. Very well managed with friendly smiling staff always on call. The room was clean and had every facility required. Great breakfast selection, especially the cakes ! The location was very near Turin's Motor Museum which was one of the attractions for us. There is a train station nearby which takes about 15 minutes to reach the centre of Turin and a tram line which takes a little longer but is more fun. Our room was on the second floor, there was no lift, but it wasn't a big problem. I would describe the hotel as Budget range with above-Budget service. We'd go back without doubt.

Inoltre vi è una colonnina di ricarica per automobili elettriche. Camera calda, pulita e silenziosa. Bagno pulito, nuovo, caldo e con asciugamani usati cambiati ogni giorno. Staff cordiale e gentile. Colazione adeguata alle condizioni dell'hotel con due torte dolci, tre tipi di brioche, succhi, corn flakes assortiti, frutta, formaggio, prosciutto cotto, toast e confezioni singole assortite da colazione, nel complesso ampiamente soddisfacente. La camera usufruita era denominata ”Economy” sul sito, un lato del letto è a parete, forse per questo offerta a prezzo più basso delle altre ma è stata scelta appositamente e presentava tutti i confort necessari come specificato in precedenza. Hotel ottimo come rapporto qualità/prezzo/confort/servizi offerti.

Come si suol dire, “tante teste, tante idee”… È vero, le camere hanno arredi vecchiotti e mancano di fascino: un peccato, perché basterebbe qualche astuzia per renderle più accattivanti. Ma per noi contano altre cose, che abbiano trovato molto valide e che vado ad elencare: posizione eccellente, pulizia accurata, personale gentilissimo, camera sufficientemente ampia e sufficientemente illuminata, bagno moderno e funzionale, letti comodi, biancheria del letto ed asciugamani (rinnovati ogni giorno) impeccabili e di buona qualità. Un frigobar rifornito quotidianamente sarebbe forse preferibile, temo che la scelta di lasciarlo vuoto sia da imputare a clienti maleducati o furbastri… A mio avviso la sola mancanza registrata è quella di qualche gancio o attaccapanni a parete.

I wanted to love this hotel, but it just didn't work for me. While I love the minimalist aesthetic, it doesn't work if you have suitcases, clothes, towels, etc. The only place to set our suitcases was on a single wobbly luggage rack. Why not have a long, sleek bench to hold at least 2 suitcases? What could we do with our wet towels? Towel racks or hooks in the bathroom would have been so nice. The most inconvenient part was the bathroom, which comprised two components. The toilet was in a small room near the door. The sink and tub were in a completely separate area across the bedroom. So to wash hands after using the toilet, it took an excursion to reach the sink. Designers, please consider that people will want to actually use the room, not just admire it.

Our original hotel room fell through elsewhere and we saw this hotel nearby. Stopped in and immediately got a very well-priced room (under 60 euros), and was handed a room key and remote I thought went to a ceiling fan. Even better: It was for a strong, cool air conditioner! We needed it after trudging around with our luggage on a hot day. The location is excellent: A four minute walk to Porta Susa train station and a one-minute walk to the 56 bus that takes you into the central area of Turin. Luca at the front desk was helpful, friendly and professional (and spoke English). The pizza place next door is fabulous. I highly recommend this hotel. It's not fancy, but it is very clean and comfortable. There is an elevator. We even had a small balcony in our room.

My friend and I spent six nights at this hotel. It is situated near the city centre and near a bus/tram stop called Bertolo, with a good and fast connection to Porta Susa station. Most tourist attractions are within walking distance or can easily be reached by bus or tram. The hotel staff is very polite and helpful and they do their utmost to make your stay a wonderful experience. We loved the breakfast. It was very tasty and there was a great variety of food and drinks. We had two single rooms, which were very clean. My room had a balcony with a view of the inner courtyard (see picture). This hotel offers a wonderful stay in Turin at a reasonable price.

Just a few minutes walk from the station, a bit outside of the city center. Located on a quiet street, it is very safe to walk here. Beside it is a convenience store that also closes late so that was very helpful. Rooms are a bit old but clean. Walls are thin so you can here the outside and other rooms quite a bit, it didnt bother me as much however. The bathroom size was just enough, with towels, soaps and plastic cups for you to use. It also has a fridge, bottle opener and a safe if youd like those. All in all, it was worth the price and was helpful during the trip. One more thing, the keys are the old style, so when you leave, you have to leave the keys at the front desk. When you come back, someone will give you back the keys.

Siamo stati a Torino con un gruppo di amici per un concerto, l’hotel è vicino alla metro ma noi abbiamo comunque raggiunto lo Stadio Gran Torino a piedi. La nostra camera era pulita e moderna. Buona la colazione. Abbiamo parcheggiato proprio davanti all’hotel e ci hanno permesso di lasciare la macchina anche il giorno partenza. Il personale è gentilissimo sia alla reception che alle colazioni! Consigliamo assolutamente!

I'm a fan of NH collection group however this time was not impressed as usual. Staffs weren't really welcoming, maybe we were check-in quite late at around 10pm. The room wasn't as spacious as others hotels in the group and the view outside is awful. Also the sound proofing was terrible and we could hear a huge sound from the ceiling in the morning. However, the room is clean I will still choose the NH group but not this hotel when I travel to Turin next time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are really sizeable and offer good value. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were all super friendly(speaking English) and helpful. The hotel is 100 meters from the very efficient subway system which we used to get to the historic centre and to and from dinner - as easiest to avoid trying to find a parking spot in town for the car (the hotel offers free parking). The hotel complex in the old FIAT factory includes a shopping mall, supermarket, the roof race track an art museum and a conference centre.

After my experience in this hotel, I have learned once for all that it's better not to be influenced too much by the negative (and sometimes also positive) reviews here in tripadvisor. I just wanted to tell that in my case everything was perfect: I stayed in a clean and overall good room, receptionists were polite and helpful, breakfast in the morning was very good, just what I should expect from a 3 star hotel, and actually the croissants were warm and just fresh. The communication with the hotel was perfect from the very beginning. Honestly I couldn't find any fault in anything.
