From the time Brysen handled the details of our check in until the time we checked out, our party (which had nine rooms for a weekend) was handled with thoughtfulness and care. The facility is beautiful and well kept. The location is wonderful and convenient to everything. However, the team working at the hotel made our weekend. They were gracious, welcoming and extended us every courtesy to help us to navigate a very busy weekend. Taxis to get us to the event? No problem. Room service with complicated orders? Done. Brysen even ran out to pick up an order for us when we unfortunately arrived during a time when the kitchen was closed. Literally going the extra mile. We were treated as honored guests and had a lovely time. Thanks to Lindsey for the no fuss checkout with so many details handled efficiently and politely. We will return happily to Sofitel DC on our next trip to DC.

There is no breakfast, but there are quite a few meals downstairs and around. There are two bedrooms, a living room and a sofa bed, which should be able to live with a family. I didn't know the parking situation without driving. A few steps away is the White House, and the surrounding environment is very good. Would highly recommend to friends who want to go to Washington to play.

The hotel is just beside the White House (5 minutes walk), very good location, very convenient to travel, from Reagan Airport to the hotel to live in the Blue Line subway, 10 minutes to arrive, unfamiliar when arriving, Ctrip took the machine 355 Yuan, direct subway to the airport during the return trip ($2.4 per person). Originally booked is no early 2 bed room, then the room is tense, and more than half an hour, replaced by a king bed room (a large bed, a sofa bed), also sent breakfast. Breakfast is also very good. It is recommended that you don't need to buy a sightseeing ticket. It's useless. We bought a two-day sightseeing ticket for 130 days with the recommendation of a lobby attendant. It can be used for a night tour or a boat. It looks like a very favorable offer. The result is up and down four times. The nearest pick-up point is far from the hotel. It takes about 15 minutes to walk. In the case of people tired, it is better to spend the money to play Uber.

The location of the hotel is so good and convenient. The bed was comfortable. Most hotels in Miguo do not include breakfast, but the surroundings are very convenient. There is Star Dad at the door, and a pizzeria across the street. It takes 7-11 minutes to walk. Another feature of the Miguo Hotel is that most of the coffee in the hotel lobby is free. Drink it casually ~

It is the most luxurious hotel in the large rural area of the United States. It is estimated to be in the SAR. But a bit uncomfortable. Originally it was for breakfast. As a result, the hotel breakfast can only be ordered. No buffet. Don't tell me clearly in advance. At the end of the checkout, I received more than three hundred knives (I stayed for two days) and said that breakfast only cost 60 US dollars. (I grew up abroad, and English is absolutely clear. This is definitely not clear when I check in. I didn’t make any order.) More than three hundred dollars more than a knife. A little pit!

The location is very convenient and not far from the subway station. The only regret is that the lights and exhausts of the bathroom are a switch, and the sound of the exhaust is too noisy, and the bathroom is blacked out several times.

I came to DC during the short vacation. I mainly wanted to check out the museums in the city, so I mainly searched for a hotel with a better location. The hotel is only a 7-minute walk from the White House. There are pharmacies, coffee shops, bars and restaurants around the hotel. The museums in DC close at 5 or 6 pm. You can eat and stroll around the main street around the hotel in the evening. The street next to the hotel is quite lively. Parking in DC is not very convenient, so I park my car on the street and go shopping, or drive to nearby scenic spots. As long as I leave the city center, it feels like it is easier to park. This time I went to the zoo and didn't buy a parking ticket specifically. It was easier to find a parking space if I drove there in the morning. The hotel lobby has its own restaurant, as well as a multi-functional hall, conference hall, and gym. The hotel should have been renovated. I personally feel that the room is relatively small and the window is also small. Their sink and bathroom toilet are separate, which is a good point. There is an ice machine in the building. I bought a drink and went back to the hotel. It was better to chill it and eat it with a late night snack.

The hotel can rent bicycles, the room is decorated in white style, but the space is a little lost. It’s a pity that there is no landscape. However, the hotel service was quite good, and the bicycle seat was too high to help me adjust for a long time. I called the hot water bottle and sent it directly along with the hot water, and there was a teacup. I look forward to a better view of the window next time I stay.

      1. The room is large, the sofa can be opened into a bed, and the kitchen supplies are complete. 2. The breakfast variety is rich, 3. Not far from the subway station 4. There is a convenience store downstairs, very convenient 5. Parking is expensive. We have a big car and can only park at other hotel ground parking lots and park for 2 nights, $130

My family and I recently stayed a week at the Homewood Suites in Washington DC. Although the hotel shows it age, it makes up for it in the GREAT customer service. From the first day in which Tina worked hard to get our room straightened out, to the sweet women working breakfast, to the valets quickly working to get us on the road with directions. My son who recently had knee surgery was even treated to a big bag of snacks to keep up his spirits. We have never been in a hotel in which EVERY staff member greets you like family. We look forward to our next trip to DC and Homewood Suites.

      Navy Yard

A HUGE disappointment awaits for unsuspecting travelers. I booked a stay in trendy Navy Yard because I like to try new areas. Was in DC for 2 nights to pitch a design project. I had paid for an upgraded room category so I’d have a terrace and a view of the Capitol. I used the Bonvoy app to make sure I had extra towels and pillows upon arrival. I arrived in DC and went immediately to my meetings and then to dinner with clients so didn’t arrive at the property until 830PM on Friday night. I knew the property had a rooftop bar so I asked at the reception desk to not be put on the floor beneath the bar and Robin said my room wasn’t. I was assigned room 431 - which was spacious and clean. However: the electronic blackout drapes and one of three of the black out shades were off the track so light flooded in, the sheer shades on one window were hanging and on another window not functioning at all. Bright blue light from the glass front mini fridge made the room glow (covered with a towel), a glowing green light from a power cord did the same (unplugged) and the toilet paper holder hanging off the wall. 4 hangers in an open closet- I had clothes for a black tie event and 2 outfits to hang and couldn’t. BUT - the absolute worse was the fact that ALL NORTH FACING ROOMS in the hotel face I-395 expressway!! An 8 lane road with 55MPH limits! The 4th floor literally the same level as the highway! The terrace unusable as it was covered in exhaust soot and the roar that of traffic overwhelmed. I put in earplugs and literally slept with a pillow on my head! I was up at 5AM when the traffic started the next AM. I called the front desk and told them I’d need to change rooms and the 5AM manager said to contact the desk again at 9A when housekeeping arrived. I went down at 9A and spoke to Robin again (she was very nice and def tried to help)- I told her I was going out for a run and if I could change rooms on return that would be great. When I returned to the hotel I was told my room category would have to be downgraded- no Capitol view or terrace - and that the room would be on a lower floor - BUT IT WAS STILL FACING THE HIGHWAY! I went back to my room and just decided to leave it alone rather than ruin my busy day. The front desk manager was at the desk when I had both conversations with Robin and she made no offer of anything as an apology- no comp breakfast, no comp drink coupons at the rooftop bar, no Bonvoy points - nothing. A simple feature would have def made me at least feel acknowledged. My 2 night stay in the upgraded room category was $971.66- so almost $1000 for two horrible nights of no sleep. This hotel was a HUGE disappointment and an embarrassment to the Marriott brand.

The location is excellent, in the dock area, it seems to be the local high-end living and entertainment area, the restaurants are relatively high-end. The night view is not bad. The hotel is very new, the door is small, the lobby needs to take the elevator to the second floor. The room is large, the health is good, and the view is good. The only downside is that the water in the faucet is not very clean at first, so it will be fine for a while.

This hotel was okay for the price, but let me quickly highlight this hotel. 1. Two nights with parking $718 2. Breakfast buffet in hotel$20 a person not a whole lot of choices. 3. Bar and Grill in restaurant average cost $15 per plate 4. The side of the Hotel with the single elevator, are the train tracks. Ask to stay away from the train tracks!! Train runs all night and blows its horn. 5. I asked the security guard at the hotel where a store was so that we can buy soft drinks and juice. He directed me to another hotel that has a quick to go market in their Lobby. Asking a local on my way to that hotel, the local directed us to a CVS about a 10-minute walk away. Upon returning to our hotel, we came in through the main lobby and saw a quick to go market off to the side of the front desk, and it was open 😡 5. This hotel is dog friendly although I never saw a dog relief area. So I suppose you have to take your dog before a walk on the street. And that area had plenty of dog walkers. 6. The parking garage is super small and tight. If you have a two-door Jeep, you'll find it just comfortable. Anything bigger, and you'll be upset. 7. The sink in our bathroom was stopped up, but I did not tell the hotel staff about it so that's my fault. 8. At check-in, the representative at the front desk did not offer any other information than what I asked for. So if I didn't know to ask... 9. It is a central location to the museums and the mall, so please once you park don't move your vehicle. Get good old-fashioned exercise and walk. 10. There are two food trucks right across the street from the hotel although I never saw anyone man them. There is a McDonald's at the corner and a mom and Shop Pizzeria next to the McDonald's. The pizzeria is probably the least expensive and most delicious of the food that we've had the entire weekend. It was good for what I needed; the room was large, the bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. I do believe next time I'll just take the Amtrak train for the day and save my $700!

The hotel is huge and one of the more affordable one around DC. The aircon in the room is a little noisy but the operation guy came and says that’s the way it is. I asked for kettle to boil water and it came quite quickly though. There’s a usd20 surcharge per room per night but you can offset by meals in the hotel. The front desk also provides bottled water FOC upon request. Overall an ok stay.

The room is good, it feels that the service does not match the hardware of the hotel, it seems that their front desk is more enthusiastic to serve whites! The small refrigerator is still locked, it is speechless, and I have lived in many high-end hotels. This situation is unique... Overall, the experience is not so good, it needs to be improved, there is no coffee machine in the room, the front desk says that the lobby is always available. However, after the first day of drinking, there was no more 😓😓😓😓😓 friends lived next to Hyatt, which is a good price.

I’ve stayed here a lot recently. Nothing is as good as my first time there. Last time the room had spider webs it was disappointing. The most recent my reservation was for one night. There was a lot of loud activity at intervals during the night When I finally got to sleep … EARLY AM some child called my room 3 times the last time she said that I was making too much noise tgenight before when asked for her Mother or an adult she hang up. Later that evening I found out I needed to stay another night. OMG !! Loud noise all night long KIDS sounded like they were running the olympics called the desk they said they would send security. The still kept up the nose and running. Finally got to sleep 7-730 I thought they were doing construction. Unbelievable. The Hotel has three sections I hope the next stay won’t be in two or three

The staff is amazing. It was raining one night while walking to dinner and the front desk gave me her own personal umbrella to use. Our flight was cancelled and booking an extra night stay was very easy and the staff was so accommodating. The rooms were great too. There is no view, but the layout of the rooms are pretty great and quiet. The ”06” rooms are the best in the hotel and I would request this room on any floor. The location is a block from metro stations. Also walking distance to white house and many restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Not staying at other hotels in Washington, may not be objective. This hotel is more expensive, the service is general, the room is very small and very small, the room window arranged for me is a dark window, the indoor ventilation is poor, the bed is small (the waiter said it is a big bed room, but only 1.5 meters wide), even wifi has to charge, It is free to apply with the waiter. Cleaning the room attendant is quite good. Maybe the location is better, but it is recommended to stay a little farther. After all, uber is very convenient.

This was my first stay in a capsule. I admit that I thought one would enter from the side instead of the end, not that this seemed to be a problem. I like the idea of being ensconced in a cocoon but I realise this isn’t for everyone. In dorm room situations I always prefer a lower bunk, the upper bunks can be more awkward. Unsurprisingly, the same applies here. Anyway, I put the pillow down the far end and climbed in head first. You ‘seal’ your capsule by pulling down the blind at the end. I am not claustrophobic in any way but found I had to keep the blind open for ventilation. There did appear to be ways to adjust the temperature but due to a busy travel schedule I didn’t get a chance to ask staff about this. This hotel uses Goki, this app that lets you scan yourself into the building and the rooms instead of typing in a room code. It has other functions as well. It is worth getting the Goki app as the door codes are changed periodically for security reasons but Goki should always scan you in once you’ve set it up. I thought that $5 for the laundry was a little much and I’m not sure how they ascertained who had paid and who hadn’t since you just walked in. Laundry detergent was included in the $5 charge and when I asked where I would find it they said it would be set out but I couldn’t find it anywhere so I had to track down a staff member. I’m glad to have finally checked ‘sleep in a capsule’ off the list.

We were welcomed by a friendly Front Desk Receptionist. There is no valet as described but it’s self park for $30 a day. No mobile key available at this hotel. No key drop box availble for those who checked out in the app. The hallway was as hot as being outside. Our room was clean buy AC was not consistent in keeping the room cool. Phone in the room was defective. Front Desk could barely hear you. We had to request additional bathroom stuff using the app. I requested for facial tissue since the one left there had a single tissue in it but we never got it. Complimentary breakfast is freshly made and the dining staff was accommodating. Check out was easy thru the app. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Affordable hotel if you’re in DC and don’t want to be at the Capitol area.

The folks at the front desk are very helpful and the breakfast is excellent. Our room was spacious but the AC was very loud. We had them come and look at it, but it continued to be loud. Regardless, we had a great stay and enjoyed the beautiful walk to Georgetown for dinner.

The concierge was very helpful and gave good advice about where to get food. Didn't use any facilities, I thought the breakfast was complimentary and when I got down there in the morning I found out that was false. I thought the prices were a little steep for breakfast so I passed on that. Overall had a good time though.

This was definitely a great stay. The establishment is modern, clean with very helpful staff. It is located in the heart of things. Museums, and great places to eat are close by if you want to get out and about. If not, the food is excellent in-house.

I've stayed in 6 different hotels in D.C. in the past year. This is one to which I'll definitely return. The location works well when I'm visiting my daughter at college. And, as I like to walk, it's an easy walk to a good Whole Foods and the Foggy Bottom metro station. Its also a fairly long--but pleasant--walk to the White House, Lincoln Memorial, etc. The rooms are large. The bathrooms are extremely well thought out. The shower was huge with a textured floor that prevented slipping. Our room on the front of the hotel was quiet enough for us to sleep well. We liked the front desk staff. The housekeeping staff did a great job! The only thing that gave us pause was that you have to go up a small flight of stairs to reach the elevator and there's no bellman. However, the front desk staff immediately offered to carry our heavy suitcases up the stairs, so we were fine. We liked the neighborhood, and there's an excellent bakery/coffee shop (Tatte) nearby. This hotel is definitely a keeper.

The Trump Hotel in the US capital has a different meaning. It feels good to stay for the first time. The service is really enthusiastic from the entrance to the departure. The lobby and decoration are really magnificent. There is a strong hormonal sense of successful middle-aged men. It is a hotel that a man likes. The lady's pursuit of exquisiteness and elegance may be lacking. In the end, although the authorization was canceled immediately after check-out, I found that the online deduction of US $ 13 was charged after I confirmed that there was no consumption. When you are at the hotel, you must have a long-term mind.

Our recent stay at this sophisticated, non-touristy oasis clinched its status as our new go-to hotel in DC. Our room was spacious and attractive, the bathroom featured the best rain shower on the planet, and the staff was professional and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and calm (no easy-listening music or screaming kids). We particularly enjoyed our several interactions with the highly personable concierge Romaine. Not only did he give us great tips about DC, but our shared enthusiasm for international travel led to fun and informative discussions of past and upcoming destinations.

The lobby is nice and atmospheric. Many politicians live in this hotel, very DC haha. But the interior of the room is ordinary and quite satisfactory. American hotels are generally very general, not as good as domestic ones of the same level.

A boutique hotel with a retro style, the location is very good, and it is convenient to go to the attractions~ I didn't expect the vinyl record in the room to be usable, and there is a radio station at the entrance downstairs.
