Recently had the good fortune to visit Dalyan and stayed at this perfectly located hotel. Perfectly located, lovely garden and river terrace oh and the views will take your breath away! The staff can not be faulted, so attentive and welcoming, rooms are clean and beds comfortable and bathrooms large with great showers. I can not recommend highly enough .... if you go to Dalyan you’d be mad to stay anywhere else!

We're just back from our first trip to Turkey. As a couple in their 30s who 100% never fancied the idea of travelling to the Turkey we're 100% converted and can't wait to return to the beautiful Dalyan. It took us a long time to decide which accommodation to book. We needed somewhere that was child friendly (for my niece and nephew), had a reasonably sized pool and was close to bars and restaurants. The Erasmus Apart Hotel seemed to fit the bill. The accommodation appeared to have around 10 rooms (we think) and there was always someone around to help if needed. It was a very peaceful area just a short stroll from the main strip where we were spoiled for choice in terms of places to eat and drink. Our room was fairly basic which we liked and the bed was quite honestly the most comfortable we've stayed in on any holiday. The room had a small kitchenette which we didn't use (except the fridge to keep beers cold). The pool was always clean and we never failed to get a sun lounger (of which there are 6). There are a couple of parasols knocking about for some much needed shade from the midday sun. Our room rate included breakfast and cost us 1500TL (approx) or €230 (ish) for 5 nights. Each morning we were served a mammoth breakfast fit for kings. Probably not what you'd expect from most hotel breakfasts but then we've not been to Turkey before so maybe it's quite normal there. Food varied slightly from day to day but typically consisted of: Tomatoes Cucumber Fried potatoes Eggs Some sort of vegetable cakes Cheese rolls Roasted vegetables Chocolate cereal (kids loved this) Pancakes A range if fresh (and very tasty) bread Homemade yogurt, butter, jams and juices DELICIOUS! It filled us up for the day and we were able to take some of the food out for the day if we wanted it as a lunch too. Turgay who own the Erasmus is everything you could ever want in a host. He responded quickly to any queries we had and he kindly arranged taxis to and from the airport for a reasonable 120TL each way. He was polite, friendly and clearly loved meeting new people. I often come back from a holiday slightly disappointed about something to do with the accommodation but seriously, this place won't disappoint. Would we stay here again? Yes. But for 7 nights minimum next time. 5 nights isn't anywhere near enough to try all the lovely food nearby. Thank you to you and your team for making our trip so special. See you again, we hope. Gemma and Jamie

The Metin saved the day when our originally booked Hotel provided significantly poor standard and extremely dirty rooms. After one torturous night we left and went hotel huntng. We enquired at the Metin for 3 double rooms for the remaining 6 nights of our stay in Dalyan and they could not have been more accommodating. 3 lovely rooms, exceptionally clean, very comfy beds all with a great outlook to the pretty pool area. The hotel is located perfectly in the centre of Dalyan, close to the river and ferry to Caunos. The owners and all the staff were so helpful and friendly and there is a cute poolside bar. Thank you Metin - you made our stay a great one.

We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of October. The hotel is in the most beautiful setting with a restaurant and deck overlooking the tombs. The breakfast was wonderful with great coffee and a spread of home cooked delights and relishes. The staff arranged for a co-op boat to pick us up from the deck which was super handy although it's only a very short level walk into town. I had requested an upstairs room with views after reading reviews on TA, but after seeing the huge pile of luggage we had with us the owner gave us a ground floor suite for the same price, which as it turned out was a much better fit for us. It was super comfortable and comprised a bedroom with excellent ensuite and a small balcony plus a lounge room with fridge and tea making facilities. Best of all, the owner got us out of a real hole. A taxi I had booked to take us to the airport for an early flight did not turn up and he drove us there himself in the dark and the rain, what a star. Thank you Servet, we hope to return to the Berg some day.

We stayed at this great little hotel for two weeks, will definitely go back! The family and staff made this a stand out holiday, the breakfast on the river was excellent and we ate some of our best and most reasonably priced meals there in the evening opposite the tombs. The hotel was a little run down when Karem and his mother took it over, but they have breathed a new life into it and have the best staff in Dalyan! Definitely worth a visit 😎👍🏻

We stayed here for 2 weeks and loved the position of this small, very friendly hotel, right on the river opposite the tombs. Very easy walk to local restaurants and cafes, also to the river boats, although the beach river dolmus will pick up / drop off at the hotel also. Our room was quite compact but we spent relatively little time in it and it met our needs well, if we returned we might see if a bigger one was available, but in the main fine. The bed was firm but the shower and air conditioning were excellent! Only one power point in the main room, another in the bathroom, and the WiFi could be a little patchy, but on the other hand it's a good excuse to rest from electronic devices for a while! Rooms and the whole hotel were kept spotless. 2 delightful little dogs pottered about, and very pretty birds too. The garden is very lush, so pretty, and well maintained. The owners Ilnur and Munir were absolutely lovely, you felt a part of their family while staying but in a very gentle way. We saw turtles swimming in the river near their jetty, magical. The Turkish breakfast buffet was always plentiful and fresh, I loved the melon, jams, and fresh bread, and a delicious strong local cheese too. All in all a lovely place to relax. Thank you.

I overlooked leaving a review at the time, so here is a belated review of our pleasant stay on 21 May last year (2018). Details are a little fuzzy now, but some memories are still fresh. The pension is in a quiet, leafy, riverside setting. A very nice place to have breakfast (which we remember as being very good). The walk from the Dalyan bus station was quite long, but through pretty areas, and good restaurants are nearby. Soon after our arrival the manager called a river taxi to take us to Iztuzu beach. The boat came right up to the hotel dock, which saved us a lot of time. Our room had a view of the Lycian cliff tombs on the other side of the river. This was my second time in Dalyan, which I highly recommend for a relaxing and interesting stay. This time, I wanted to show it to my wife as we visited ancient sites between Fethiye and Dalyan. I recommend taking the small boat across the river and walking to the ancient city of Kaunos. If you are up for the climb, the 360 degree view from the steep hill overlooking Kaunos is one of the best in Turkey. One can look down on the winding channels taken by the river boats between Dalyan river and the sea.

We stayed as a family of four in one of the 2 bed villa's. What a lovely peaceful holiday we had. The bedrooms had aircon. The kitchen sufficiently stocked for our needs. Two bathrooms and wonderful views to the mountains on the from bedroom balcony. Swimming pool straight outside our door and a great viranda to sit and watch the kids in the pool. The bar had a pool table and staffed by such a lovely couple who had just had a baby, so hard working and a credit to the place, and serving delicious food too. I have a disability and ended up using a chair for a week of our 2 weeks and I can honestly say everyone looked out for me and helped in anyway they could. So kind and generous people thank you. We loved it that much we are booked again to go this Aug 2020. Can't wait to see you all again the Sandersons

A hotel with a personality of its own! Clean, comfortable, quiet and central. Excellent Turkish breakfast and a nice mix of guests. Very reasonable price. What more could you want? And now TripAdvisor are asking me for more details! Well, I've really said all that matters. Useful point actually-- you can book directly and get an immediate response --so no need to go via booking sites.

There’s quite a few negative reviews on here about this hotel. I stayed for 12 nights from 20/09/2019. I booked half board and it cost £21 per night! Given the price paid the hotel was excellent. The good points: - meticulously clean. The bathroom was cleaned with bleach every day and the wooden floor was mopped every day. Sheets and towels changed every other day. - the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. - the air conditioning was free - the pool area was lovely, although some of the loungers could do with an update. - located within a few minutes walk of the main area of bars and restaurants. - nice and quiet at night, far enough away from the main bars/restaurants to be quiet but close enough for a short walk to the “night life”. - staff were friendly, helpful and knew enough English to be able to help. Room for improvement: - although very clean, the bathroom would benefit from an update. - the breakfast was traditional Turkish breakfast, which got a little “samey” but there was plenty of it and the tea was nice and strong! - evening meal on half board consisted of soup, salad which was extensive, main course, there was no choice but the food was fresh and well cooked. However, there are many restaurants within a few minutes walk.....I only booked half board as I did not know the resort or what would be available. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying here again if travelling to Dalyan solo again.

Spent nine fantastic days in Dalyan at Hotel Mico. We have been to Dalyan many times over a twenty six year period so stayed at many different hotels. However this hotel felt unique from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by great hosts Mustafa and Karin who own and run Hotel Mico. Not only did they see during our entire stay to our every want and need but create such a warm, relaxed place to stay. We noticed that the rooms and apartments were very cared for as much as the hotel environment itself. You truly got the feeling with all their tasteful decor that this is a hotel that is truly loved. Breakfast was included and suited all our tastes. Lastly, we noticed that the staff that work there looked happy to be there. It is in a pretty good location for all shops etc but not right on top of them. If you are looking for a perfect relaxing well run place to stay this is the perfect hotel. We will go back again to Dalyan and book another stay without hesitation .

We just had diner at the Dalyance restaurant. What a treat. Reasonable prices, not the standard Dalyan type menu, and a more than hospitable staff. We had the beef fajita, a schnitzel and the pad thai. The fajita was nicely seasoned, the scnnitzel tasted homemade (hallelujah) and the pad thai was a welcome dish after 6 night Dalyan meat surprise fest. The English young lady is professional and also very spontaneous. Good. Then... my son got sick. Ehm...in the garden. They helped him and were very thoughtful. Even brought him a cup of herbal tea. If you are that attentive and warmhearted to your guests, and the food is very nice, you deserve a five star rating. Recommended.

So after me, my daughter and our two friends losing our Thomas Cook holiday to our beautiful Dalyan at the beginning of October, We thought we wouldn’t be able to go this year. Then after spending most of the following day looking for flights , we managed to find alternative flights with Turkish Airlines. We had originally booked a package deal staying at the Keskin Hotel but after calling the owner to ask if we could rebook our rooms directly through him, he quoted us double the original cost! Then I read on here about how he had treated some of the guests caught up in the TC mess, so we decided to look elsewhere. My daughter and I had stayed a few times previously at Villa Kiydan and had loved it, I made a phone call to Onur Kiydan, One of the owners and he offered us one of his beautiful 2 bedroom Villa apartments for the two weeks. Villa Kiydan is a family run business only 5 - 10 minutes walk to the centre. It is close to the river and has views of the Rock Tombs. The apartments are set in beautifully kept gardens and all have either garden or pool views. The pool has a recently installed salt water system and is kept beautifully clean. The apartments are cleaned everyday and bedding and towels are changed twice a week. Beach/pool towels are also provided. You can arrive and leave any day the week depending on your flights and you can stay in your apartment until your airport pick up at no charge extra. The prices are per apartment, not per person and there is a choice of one or two bedrooms Air conditioning is included as are and transfers from and to Dalyan Airport. Onur is such a friendly, helpful man, nothing is too much trouble for him. We had a fabulous holiday, spending much of it lazing by the pool in glorious sunshine. We had only one half day of rain and a small earthquake! October is always a wonderful time to visit and we have booked with Onur again for next October. I totally recommend these Villas to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in lovely accommodation and surroundings.

We stayed for 2 nights last weekend at this lovely resort. We were a group of 9 and had 7 rooms. Some ground floor and some upper floor. The ground floor rooms have a much bigger bathroom with full width walk in shower - this is because you enter through the large patio doors thus eliminating the need for a rear entrance door and hallway like on the upper floor rooms. Shower room is still a good size in the upper floor rooms and being on the upper floor has the added benefit of being able to leave your patio doors open allowing for a nice breeze. All rooms are of a very high standard and have either a large kingsize bed or 1m wide twin beds with top quality mattress and bedding. My room 311 overlooked the pool which I really liked. Breakfast was excellent - great choice of cold cuts, salad items, fresh bread & coissants, cereals and a live station where they cook your eggs, omelettes and eggy bread (french toast). Self serve tea and coffee machines and even a water dispenser to fill up your own bottle - no need for plastic! The sunbeds were the metal and mesh design and look new. Quite comfortable but would prefer to have a cushion pad. The swimming pool was amazing - spotlessly clean and huge! Several sets of low tread steps make for easy access for those not too steady on their feet. The whole hotel was beautiful - lovely design and well maintained. The little pool bar stays open as long as you want it and they serve the most amazing Pina Coladas - topped with lashings of cream ! Excellent location in a quiet area with ample parking outside. Just 1 minute walk to a boat jetty where you can hire a private boat for a river cruise or jump on the regular boat 'bus' to Turtle beach. The town centre itself is a gentle 15 minute walk - no hills. A taxi cost just £2 if you don't fancy walking. This was my 7th time in Dalyan and was the best hotel I've stayed in here. Great value for money and the staff are all lovely. All 9 of us voted to come back again next year :)

I stayed 3 nights here. Berg is a wonderful host. A quietly assured yet friendly attitude. A great attention to deals that have been carried out or plans to carry out in future. The breakfast is a lovely array of typical Turkish breakfast items, tea, coffee, juice etc. This is served in the dining area, or outside area backing on to the river - a high light was turtles coming to join us as we ate! The rooms are comfortable, clean, well appointed & functional.. The pool area is pleasant & sun loungers plenty. Small patio area too, under shade & with furniture also. The hotel is located well - small store a minute away, local ferry close by, town centre & many restaurants etc are 5-10 minutes away. Quiet location yet very well served. Next time I visit, I would like longer here!
