Bus from Adler Station dropped me off just down the block from the Sochi Magnolia. Place was easy to find. Elena at the front desk spoke great English. It was a busy day when I arrived as I wasn't the only World Cup fan checking in and my Fan ID was misplaced, but Elena found it quickly. Keep an eye on your documents (passport, visa, etc.) when it's your turn to check in. I checked in at the Magnolia front desk, but I was staying at the Sochi Hostel. So a short walk later, with a special slip in my hand, I arrive at the hostel front desk and receive my room key. The WCs and showers were down the hall from my room and all were clearly labeled. Two towels are provided, hand and bath. No toiletries, though. I always pack travel size things when I travel so this wasn't a problem. Breakfast is served from 7 - 10am on the second floor of the Magnolia. It was complimentary during my stay. It's buffet style and incredibly varied. All the labels are in Russian so, don't be afraid to experiment and try something new. It could accidentally be delicious. All in all, a comfortable stay at the hostel section of this complex. Next time, I'll stay in the hotel section. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a headquarters in the Olympic city.

Been here in September 2019 and the rooms are decorated in a very classic way. Nice bathroom not too big. Receptionists are very helpful and know enough about the area. Location of hotel is very good. Go through the door and down the stairs you will end up at the shops and Esplanade. Walking further to the right you will end up at the marina. Going downstairs toward the street and make a hard right you will see in a few meters at a corner the little cafe that serves breakfast for the hotel. They have an English menu and do speak enough English to help you.We have also been there for lunch and I could recommend this place. In short - do stay hdere you will not regret it.

Great staying and wonderful experience. We were indeed happy to spend a week in Pullman Sochi Center and would like to express our deepest gratitude.
The staff in the hotel was extremely friendly and supportive. Each and every request was fulfilled almost immediately. The facilities met our expectations and the pull was just extraordinary recreational zone. Also, the gym with the outstanding view was convenient and well equipped, we enjoyed our morning workouts, as well as cozy hammam and sauna.
Although, there were a few things still having space for development.
First of all, the reception managers’ outfits were inappropriate. Their uniform looked cheap and ancient, with dirty collars and strands sticking out the seams! Given the staff at the desk being professional, that looks made great deal of questions. Also, there were no lights in the closet. The phone in the room worked with a speaker only. And the drawers’ locks in men’s dressing room were completely broken. All of them. Quite strange details for 5 star hotel with the certain price list.
So with respect and gratitude for our staying, we have to stress there are some improvement needed to maintain the 5 stars status of this nice hotel.

Stayed here for three nights . Very good location , private beach , underground parking , nice rooms , gym & spa are in the next door Pullman hotel on the 16 th floor with a stunning breath taking view . This hotel is a 4 star and is twice cheaper than 5 star pullman hotel but since you almost get the same perks as in pullman , you can save some money and choose Mercure . There is a outdoor swimming pool and they charge you 1000 rub extra for it . There are many restaurants and bars and nice promenade by the sea . Free transfer to the mountains is included , so if you re staying for a longer time make sure to hop on that bus .

This is more or less a self service apartment. The room was of very good size. And it has a kitchen. Not much decoration but this is probably not the kind of thing you are looking for. Close to the promenade and thus has easy access to the beach and restaurants. I find this very convenient. Clean and basic. Quiet and I had very good sleep. Staff were helpful. Helped arrange a mini van to take us to the airport in the early morning. Functional and will come back if ever back in Sochi.

Car hire is available at this resort and the area is popular for hiking. Adler-Sochi International Airport is 22 km from the property.

Although undeniably centrally located, the Marin Park Hotel does not meet any expectations stimulated by their website or the reviews of those who stayed here during the contagious excitement of the World Cup or Olympic Games...or the professional reviewer on Trip Advisor who got an upgrade! We booked a superior double room with balcony. Apparently, the only difference between a standard and superior room is the balcony—onto which one can place a single foot in one direction or carefully manipulate a 20”/50cm chair in the other direction—but good luck finding the room to settle in said chair.(reading this, I am aware that I am making the balcony sound bigger than it is). The room reeked of some sort of carbolic cleaning chemical, so I was told to leave the window open—in January. There is really nowhere to put one’s clothing—wardrobes snd cabinet being dedicated to fridge and safe.—shelves are too high or low for practical use, and requests for sufficient hangers positively acknowledged were not fulfilled. There are two outlets outside the bathroom (there is a bath). The room is tatty—probably actually cleaner than the warn and stained carpets and wallpaper suggest. The much touted breakfast buffet was so overcrowded that the hostess was suggesting guests eat in their rooms...and, of course, the food ran out repeatedly. I opened 5 chaffing dishes to find them empty and settled on a piece of cheese. I really feel as though I were in a cheap motel from the driving-across-the-country days of my youth. The difference being that the cheap hotels were everything they had promised and worth every penny.

My husband and I visited Sochi in September 2018 for the F1. Unfortunately most of the hotels were booked so our options were limited and we had to go with sea galaxy hotel. The pictures looked nice, and the hotel had good reviews however, it had nothing to do with the reality of this hotel. Staff: very rude and grumpy. The check in and check out processes were very slow. When we arrived at the hotel we needed change for the taxi and the guy at the reception lied and told us that they don’t have change. The staff at the bar next to the reception said the same. We ended up paying the taxi a lot more because we couldn’t get change. But when we walked into the hotel to check in and we were asked to pay for the tourism fee before we check in, we gave the same guy a big note and all of a sudden the change came out of the drawer. Very very rude and unhelpful staff. Makes your stay miserable. Room: very old and rundown rooms. In bad need for renovation. The bed is not comfortable at all. The bathroom is tiny. And the room smelled of sewage and even after complaining about it we were not even offered a different room. The AC didn’t work properly and no matter how many times we phoned to have someone come and fix it, it was never fixed. The room was also cleaned with a rush, there was hair on the bathroom floor. Elevator: very very slow and always busy. It’s a big hotel and definitely needs more than 2 or 3 elevators to cater for all the visitors. You’ll have to wait for the elevator for 15-20 minutes at least. So if you really had to stay at this hotel, choose lower floors if you can use the stairs. Breakfast: don’t even bother. The selection of the food was poor and a lot of the trays were empty and the replenishment was slow. What needed to be warm was cold. And what needed to be cold was left outside or in fridges that do nothing for cooling the food. The bad smell in the restaurant puts you off eating. And with all the masses that stay at this hotel you really feel like you’re in a shopping mall’s food court. And of course the service was horrible. Stay away from this hotel if you’re looking for a decent and pleasant stay in Sochi. Our experience at this hotel ruined our visit to this lovely city.

Stayed at the hotel for 10 days, stayed for the New Year. Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, firstly it is in the city center, walking distance to the seaside, secondly, the train station is just 5 mins distance and if you want to visit Olympic park, Rosa Khutor, airport, etc... can be very good from the point of logistics. Additionally, the staff was very helpful and two bottles of water were daily waiting for us at our room door (even though we had “do not disturb” sign on the door).
