very good. Checking in at the active moment of the Swedish tourist event can be said to reflect a different style. It was stipulated to check in at 3:00 pm, but I arrived at the front desk at 8 am. The front desk said the room was vacant and could be checked in, which was directly equivalent to letting me check in half a day in advance. The rooms are small, typical European hotels, but in good hygiene. Checking out is simple and convenient, just ask me if I have any other consumption and check out directly. The breakfast was rich and delicious, and it seemed that everyone included breakfast, so no one checked. Various fitness settings are also very complete.

Best hotel in Sweden? We were very disappointed as we had high expectations and since the concept of Ett Hemm is a bit weird in our eyes for such high prices. Pros: - The room was very well cleaned and neat - The bed and the duvet was really nice and comfortable - The staff was very friendly, but could not really help when the spa was booked, the restaurant chairs were occupied etc - We did not feel like a number, but we were recognized and everybody seemed to know and remember us Cons: - When arriving, it was hard to actually find the hotel as it looked like the other houses on the street and quite anonymous. Don’t expect signs or any traces of a hotel as you normally can find! Once we found it we did not feel welcome as the door to the courtyard was closed and we had to ring the bell, without anyone answering for some minutes. It felt really odd to have to ring the bell in the middle of the day. It felt more like entering a police station or an embassy with a lot of security, but not a posh hotel - We wanted to be centrally located and according to the information from the hotel, the hotel is located centrally. However, we tend to disagree. We had to take a taxi for 15 minutes or the underground for 2 stops to actually get into the city. In the part we were it was only big houses and a lot of traffic, but no sightseeing spots. The location felt a bit off as it only seemed to be a residential area - It was incredibly expensive for a room in Stockholm and for what we got. We paid roughly 500 EUR and it was definitely not worth it - The room was very small (smaller than our bedroom at home) and it felt like it was only around 20 square metres, which is a little too less for such an expensive luxury hotel. Normally we are used to more space and I do not think that this is too much to ask for - There is no view from the room of a nice park, sightseeing spots or water (there is plenty of rivers, lakes and ocean in Stockholm), but just a regular street and car parking in front of your room. Really a boring view and once again, no hotel feeling or a feeling of being in Stockholm - When we wanted to have dinner, we could sit anywhere, but not on proper chairs. We could for instance sit in a sofa as the chairs already were occupied by a group that definitely did not stay in the hotel as we did not see them the other days and as they all had their jackets with them. We found it not appropriate to have dinner in such a relaxed atmosphere and found it to be unsuitable - We wanted to use the sauna one evening but it was already booked and occupied by another customer since the sauna is so small. The idea of a private spa is nice, unless you can’t book it for yourself. We felt very limited and ended up not using the spa at all, even though we automatically paid for it in the high room price All in all it did not feel

We booked and paid a deposit for 1-night stay at another hostel right in the city centre and by the train & bus station more than 1 year ago. About 1 month before our check-in date (& 2 weeks before our vacation departure), I received an email from Hostel Bed and Breakfast about the building code. I found it weird as I never booked with the B&B. Basically, I had to email the original hostel to find out what's going on. It was at that point I was told they were overbooked so I got bumped to Hostel B&B, which is about 15 min walk from the city centre. Not exactly what I signed up for. This Hostel B&B is situated in a residential neighbourhood with supermarkets, public library, café etc. and right across from a metro/subway station. All rooms are in the basement and I read somewhere that it used to be a night club/bar. Our windowless basement room had 2 bunk beds and the washrooms and showers are in the corridor. There is no place to put your stuff and we had to borrow 2 chairs from the dining room. There is a small wall-mounted fan in the room and a few hooks on the wall. There is only air conditioning in the common dining room/living room but not in the room. It was so suffocating that we had to prop the door open in order to get some cool a/c air into the room so we can sleep. My father woke up with a nose bleed due to the extreme dry air inside the room. This Hostel B&B did provide free luggage storage as we arrived early in the morning on the overnight bus ride from Oslo. Luckily we returned just in time to check in after some sightseeing because the reception closed at 7:30pm on the Friday which I found to be quite early. Do remember to take off your shoes when entering the hostel. There were people sleeping in the dining/living room when we got up to wait for the start of the free breakfast. It was a very modest one with cold cuts, cheese, cucumbers, milk, cereal, and toast. I would not stay at this place again.

No heating in room, toilet broke the first day, maintanace took 1,5 hours to arrive. Water had then been spewing onto the floor and I had to clean up myself as the cleaning personel were buisy. Tiny bathroom. Room had no shelves in which to put clothes, few hangers, entire colour palette on walls was concrete gray. Heavy fan-system coming from outside. A real struggle with de-magnetizing key cards and no key-card holder. One of the elevators is seriously shaky and stops between upper floors. Be aware! Some of the gym equiptment is out dated, one was broken and the other downright unsafe. Music at the gym is deafening and can't be changed, so if you like to cool down with anyhing but tecno, be prepared to do that somewhere else. Noise cancelling headphones will not do the trick here. The only vegetarian option at the restaurant during my stay was a twist on the Jerusalem artichoke, famously rich in inulin thus earning the nickname "farti-choke" when not cooked properly. I did not order it again. Breakfast. Soggy eggs, dry bread and stale cheese - salad, fruit and vegetables were "for the staff only" - and so had to get it from them. I mean... Location is not so good. "Everything" is within 30-40 minutes walking distance. This is one of the most expensive areas of Stockholm. The only plus were the staff at front desk and restaurant. They were incredibly professional and generous with their time, inclusive and attentive, animal lovers. skilled and fun to be around, with the exception of the front desk manager, she was cold like stone, rude even. There were no serious Covid-mesures implemented at this hotel as they abide by current rules given the municipality. I for one will not return as there is a hierarchical system here that is very evident to the watchful eye: Hence the little things that makes any hotel special or even great, are simply missing.

Needed a budget hotel in central Stockholm and Rex Petit gave me what I needed. Stayed a couple of times and had a different room on each occasion. First time had a room on ground floor level which included it's own bathroom. Second time had a room in the basement which had no window and had shared bathroom and shower. Hotel was clean with helpful staff and nice atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent with hot choices, various breads and selection of cheese and meat. Beds weren't great, but it was quiet and undisturbed. Main attraction though is the price and Rex Petit is a good budget option for Stockholm.

I’d booked the Rex, but when I arrived I found it to be all locked up. After making a phone call and asking around I eventually discovered that they are transferring their bookings to the Hellsten Hotel across the street without even informing guests beforehand. Whilst the Hellsten is an ok hotel, I would have expected to have been informed beforehand and been able to decide to book elsewhere. I am not sure if and when it will reopen, so my advice is to call them before booking and double check.

The service was consistently friendly, helpful, efficient, and above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble. I was even offered a take-away breakfast, without asking, when I mentioned I'd be checking out very early in the morning. That's class. As to the product itself, the rooms are okay, the shower in mine is a bit small for a normal sized person and no soap in my room (but I had my own so it was fine). A kettle in the room would go a long way. Pillows were not great. Good size room overall, plenty of plugs, decent (free) internet. Breakfast fairly typical. Fellow vegans can just about manage to put something together.

I've been in this hotel for 5 days and 4 nights, traveling from Goteborg to Stockholm for an essential appointment with an Embassy on 31-dec-2020; I decided to stay few days so that to have a chance to visit Stockholm after having booked this hotel to booking.com which proposed a good rate and ice reviews up front (compared to other hotels closer to the Center). . Overall I must tell you that I have a mitigated experience of my extended stay. I'm a very frequent traveler, usually traveling for business in many countries and so far I have had the chance to travel to all continents. I would like to write a detailed review, not to provide critics but to propose changes which I would have liked to apply if I could during my stay. Please do not take any offense, as this review is aimed to be constructive with positives and negatives which are completely subjective to me but which can also be related to other guests' experiences... > First the POSITIVES (+) 1/ ROOM - Good Room Surface: Enough space but only for one person - Room Window/Door can be opened for having fresh air (which is definitely a plus compared to few hotels locking all windows for opening) - Various amenity products in the bathroom (soap, body and hair, lotion, …, vanity set) - Nice Bathroom with a good shower (good pressure and hot water), heated floor, and way to control the temperature in the bathroom from a LED switch at the ground level on the wall (+) 2/ STAFF - Very polite and responsive staff + got a price rebate of 30% on my arrival after booking.com confirmation was not found in their computer (even if was still confirmed and active on booking.com) (+) 3/ SAUNA - Very Good Sauna, made private for 1-hour sessions (need booking at the reception to get a slot and a special key to enter the relax room) (+) 4/ PRIVATE PARKING GARAGE - Nice Parking Garage (Entrance, Access to the hotel, …) (+) 5/ FOOD AMENITIES - An ICA Supermarket next door in the same building (ground floor close to the lobby, accessible from outside the hotel) (+) 6/ BREAKFAST - Nice breakfast room (nice space, lounge atmosphere) >> Then the NEGATIVES (or things which need to be enhanced) (--) 1/ ROOM AMENITIES - Bed, pillows are way too soft; I have spent 2 months in a scandic without any issue with the bedding but in this case, after the first night, it was like all my bones were hurting and I injured myself in the back when taking the shower; for solving this I had not found any other solution than shifting the two beds against the wall, and arrange bedding right into the floor (not on the carpet) by taking care to not be too close to the shelf to avoid hitting it at night - Sofa not practical, was dirty (some white stains) and was very heavy to move even (two pieces); the room is too small to place it in front of the TV and if kept along with the Window/Door, you cannot really open the Door/Window completely and it takes a lot of room; moreover, if you are too

I booked this hotel for a week initially as the price was so good and I read good reviews. I ended up extending my trip by another week, but I decided on booking an Airbnb apartment in the Old Town for the second week instead. I enjoyed my week at this hotel so much, I was a little sad to leave and go to the apartment, and wished I’d just booked the two weeks here. Long story short, the apartment was awful, unclean and a nightmare, so I ended up coming back to this hotel for the remainder of my second week and it’s been absolutely wonderful. I had the best night’s sleep when I came back here during the second week, it was heaven and I felt comfortable and relaxed again. The rooms and bedding are impeccable, the staff are always so friendly and kind, the included breakfast is fantastic and I honestly cannot fault this place— it’s a bargain for what you get and I will 100% stay here again when I come back to Stockholm next year. Thank you BW Kom Hotel!

Very good hotel, great location, right next to the arlanda express city center station, just walk out of the station and cross the road. It takes 35 minutes to go to the airport, because there is a 15-minute bus ride and a 20-minute drive. The attitude at the front desk is also very good and the action is fast. The hotel is furnished in a typical Nordic style and looks very comfortable. The room is not big, but it is clean and tidy, with a kettle. The breakfast was great and there were a lot of options. I really like a raw bean sprout like mung bean sprouts. In addition, breakfast and foie gras are self-picked. There are many people without chaos, and a good breakfast. The only downside is that I feel that the wood in the bathroom smells very awkward, like the smell of inferior wood. Anyway, I am very sensitive and allergic to this taste.

Service is below average for Stockholm hotels. First, the guest's name was mistaken, and then there was no other routine service at the hotel's front desk, such as telling what time to open a meal, where is the breakfast and so on. The service facilities are also old, and there are no swimming pools in five-star hotels. In short, I will not live here again.

Great located in Stockholm's centre and area Östermalm. Cosy rooms with renovated bathrooms and a.c.. Taking a shower floods half of the bathroom - as very often usual in Sweden there is no real separation between the shower area and the rest of the bathroom. Pretty expensive - but this seems to be the price for staying so close to all centre Stockholm attractions. Very good breakfast selection. During pre-christmas time the hotel offers free "glögg" in the hotel lobby. Coffee and tea facilities at the room + small bottle of free mineral water. Very friendly and helpful at the front desk, but hotel's service personell responsible for cleaning the rooms sometimes need to improve its work.

Stayed here whilst at a conference, and enjoyed the easy access to public transit. The building is something like 16th century - check out the worn stone staircase - that is interesting but of course does mean some compromises e.g. a tiny lift, very small bathroom (the sink is even in the way when you sit on the toilet). Surprised a bit by the old fashioned furnishings but I expect that might be to keep things in character. Breakfast room was compact, but the selection good. Stay here if you want to be in the middle of the old town, but be aware this is not some big, modern hotel. Service at the front desk was very friendly. If you found my review helpful I would appreciate your vote.

The quilt is a bit dirty on the quilt. A small worm was found in the room. The bed in our room was sleeping against the wall. It was not very comfortable to sleep. It was not convenient for two people to roll over. The charging plug was recommended at the end of the bed. Wi-Fi is very slow, the signal is not very good, but the price is still ok (in this price range) will not actively clean the room (maybe I go to hotels in other countries to provide cleaning), the first floor can self-check In / check out you can go to the front desk or the environment is very convenient. The place is very close to the train station restaurant and shopping. You can book this hotel if you don't mind the above shortcomings. Adlon Location: The hotel is also conveniently located near the Central Railway Station. This 4-minute walk from the train station is almost a turn, which is easy to find. Subway trains, buses and trams extend in all directions, making it easy to go anywhere. Facilities: In contrast, it is not modern, but it is intact, not old, everything. If it is a single girl, travel 1-3 days, the single price is friendly, but there is no toothbrush and toothpaste, most importantly, there is a kettle and mine The room also faces the main street, a big window, great! As shown in the figure. By the way, there is also a gym, on the ground floor. Service: The best thing is service. You can take takeaway sandwiches, hot coffee, or even fruits at 5pm. It can be explained in advance. In the morning, my uncle warmly helped me to prepare the bag and told me the way to the airport bus. Prove that he is right. In the middle I also tried to borrow a simple weighing scale to weigh my luggage. I think 10kg is OK. Then the beauty at the front desk also helped me complete the credit card purchase limit with my computer. There was no public computer because the mobile payment was unsuccessful. Thank you so much! Perimeter traffic: There are many exits to the central train station. Anyway, I have been using that exit from the Ahlens shopping center, and the main tram station is opposite. It ’s okay to go to the Airport Terminal from the hotel and leave the hotel on both sides. It ’s 500 meters to the left on the left for 5 minutes and 150 meters to the right. Since I ’m navigating and walking in the morning, I ’m left-handed. . Surrounding dining: Wayne's coffee on the left side of the hotel (there is also one on Nanjing West Road in Shanghai) There are a lot of places here. Opposite is Espresso House's large lounge space, Burger King, there is 711 on the right. You can find light meals, salad sandwiches and bagels in these places. , Espresso bagels are delicious, all bagels are delicious, crispy and crispy after heating, love! !! !! I don't know why it feels within the country. Starbucks is the same, it is delicious after heating! Shopping around: department stores went to Ahlens. Of course, Sweden has to visit Byredo, a niche brand that has been very popular recently, as well as Acne Studio, MUJI, and many fragrances. I bought a super cost-effective TF perfume for almost half the price in Hong Kong. Highlights: Service-to-price ratio.

My (adult) daughter and I recently stayed here for a weekend in Stockholm and we absolutely loved it! It was a perfect location, beautifully situated on the water, quiet and away from the touristy hustle and bustle but centrally located. Despite its being on a separate island everything was easily accessible either by walking or taking the ferry. Our room was extremely comfortable (I know this is subjective but I thought the bed was amazing) and although the bathroom was somewhat small, the shower was great and everything was spotless. The breakfast room/ restaurant was lovely and bright and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Everyone who works at the hotel is wonderful but I have to give a special shout out to Lucas, the young concierge who gave us tips on several great restaurants, made (and changed) reservations and was charming to work with. Normally I don’t review hotels before I’ve checked out. Because you can have a last minute (bad) surprise. But. In this case I will do it. I booked last year, then covid hit. They changed my April booking to December. No problem. Very kind, understanding and professional. I arrive and am upgraded from a single to a double room. Very very kindly at check-in. The reception staff is super friendly and professional. At all times. The breakfast staff, the bar and restaurant staff. They’re all just super. I travel a lot. I don’t often feel “at home” anywhere. But these humans... wow. Thank you. I will be back. And highly recommend this hotel. You can walk everywhere. I am a walker. Arlanda airport express is just 10 minutes walk away. Subway station is nearby. Everything is nearby. Highly recommended and thank you for my unforgettable stay. The room is amazing. Management: Keep and cherish the staff. They’re gold. It is a very historic hotel with very good maintenance and maintenance. The five-star and four-star hotels are really far away in the local area. For this price, I really want to book a five-star hotel. The four stars are also the price. But I have to say that the sewers in the washbasin are blocked. I didn’t realize it at the beginning. I felt that this water was so slow. After I took the plug, I still didn’t go into the water. It’s just a little bit unseen. It is simply that where the water is washed and washed, the water will not go down. In addition, the air conditioner did not know that the hotel agreed that it was not open, or it was broken. This weather is really awkward in Sweden, because the quilts used by the locals are very small, unlike other hotels, the hotel is really only 1.5 meters. 1.3 meters or even smaller, very unaccustomed, sleeping a little cold at night. Then I woke up in the morning and it was a little hot, because the doors and windows were all closed and there was no ventilation. This is not the case with this hotel. The problem with this quilt is where it is. The bathroom saw the hanging towel, and the heating function was quite good, but there were some walls that were warm and did not work for a long time. The surrounding environment is really invincible. It's so beautiful, especially in the autumn of Stockholm, the autumn is so beautiful. There are many boat docks in front of the hotel, which can be visited by boat in minutes. In addition, I have to ask the information hanging on Ctrip that the hotel has a shuttle bus to and from the airport. In fact, there is no such thing. When I ask the front desk staff, I look at it seriously. I feel as if I have to take the bus. The front desk staff said that it is recommended to take a taxi to the airport, and the old town of Sturgeon went to the airport for a price of 545 kr. In fact, in addition to his reputation, the hotel actually felt that it was convenient to travel, otherwise it would consider another one. As a result, this information is incorrect. In addition, the hotel's own restaurant is actually of average quality, but the service ecology is superb. When choosing wine, it is not annoying. After tasting two kinds, it is decided to be a French. But the scenery is super beautiful, facing the beautiful palace. See many locals have a seat there for dinner. In addition, the fabric on the wall in the room is very beautiful, the color is coordinated, and it is a single room. In fact, the bathroom is very large and very comfortable. It is said that when the Nobel evening party is held every year, guests will stay at this hotel, but they have not seen the relevant introduction. In addition, the hotel reception will recommend the spa and swimming pool free of charge. Unfortunately, there is no time to experience.

The underground passage, the upstairs passage, the highway flyover, etc. are all connected to the surrounding shopping malls. However, the No. 19 exit is undoubtedly the most convenient, and the exit is opposite the hotel. The entrance to the hotel building taken at the exit is as follows. You can see the town hall from the hotel window and walk to the town hall in less than ten minutes. It takes more than ten minutes to get to the old city slowly. Starting from the hotel, running along the city hall and the old town and the opposite island around the lake, the scenery is invincible, 8 km down, especially recommended for students who like to run. Lovely hotel, bedroom very clean and warm, lovely bathroom, liked the choice of 'hotel or shower?' offered on check-in. Sauna very nice too and lovely products to use in shower there and plenty of towels. However, the food set-up was rather odd. The breakfast was fabulous but laid out in the adjacent restaurant Miss Voon and there was also a British-style pub attached to the hotel at the other side (The Bishop's Arms) but as there was no restaurant or lounge in the hotel itself there was no informal place for having a cup of tea or biscuit/sandwich during the day. On New Year's Eve, for example, the British pub closed at 5pm and the restaurant had been fully booked for some days in advance. We got a list of restaurants open in the city (limited) and we tried them all - all fully booked. However, we did get a space across the road at Jamie Oliver's restaurant ourselves (it was, strangely, not on the hotel's list of open restaurants) so that saved the day. I thought we could have been told about the strange alcohol laws on NYE too which saw no alcohol served, even in supermarkets, after 3pm unless you were in a (rare) restaurant! Small complaint, though, given the hotel was lovely, staff helpful and had good English, and it was in a great location. I was also a bit disappointed to be just handed the list of possible restaurants that night. In other hotels where their restaurant has been booked out - I am particularly thinking of Copenhagen on NYE 2016 - the hotel will often organise another restaurant and book it for you.

Tapto is a nice and friendly hotel with a lot of family feeling. The location is perfect with walking distance (15-20 min) to the city or a few minutes to bus or metro. At the same time, the hotel is located right in the middle of the National City Park with the opportunity to get out on more than 10 km long lakeside trips on foot with amazing scenery.

We stayed for one night in 2 rooms which were very fresh. We did not miss anything. We parked a15-minute walk away from the hotel and saved 250 SEK. The gym was complete with necessary equipment for training, running and weight lifting. Our children were satisfied. All personnel in the reception were very service minded and helpful and we were also allowed to keep one of the rooms for check out later. Breakfast was very good with a variety of warm and cold choice and some Christmas food. However, compared to hotels we have visited in Sweden since summer, we have never felt unsafe as in this hotel. The hotel management must have decided to close down the ordinary big breakfast area (to save on cost) and had instead a much smaller room on the ground floor. Even if there were only a few guests, it was too crowded and not corona-safe. Kitchen staff did not have masks nor gloves. A guest was coughing and going around buffe area many times carelessly and staff did not caution her.

Don't ever book in Ctrip, it will be twice as expensive as going to the site. I booked 900 krona online for one night. The room was very small. After the friend came, I ordered 500 kr. and the room was much bigger than mine.

We stayed for inte week during the New year's. The hotel has got a bar with food. The hotel is located in the heart of Stockholm so it is close to shopping and restaurants and the spa-area was nice. The people working at the hotel made our week. Excellent service. The hotel area is a lot '90's' but it's ok for the price. It feels cozy and the standard of the rooms are ok. We slept beautifully. Over all- well worth the price.

Fantastic days at this hotel. we where 5 people ( 3 daughters and me & my wife) and had one premium room and one suit. Really modern and up to date rooms, all in high standard. location can't be better with this fantastic view over Nybrokajen and be so close to all things in the city and the beautiful Djurgården. the suit we had is the old Greta Garbo Suit and its called Presidential suite now, very nice corner room and good space with 2 separate rooms ( livingroom and bedroom) and we loved the interior, very classy and modern. One thing we really want to bring up is the high service level of this hotel, we travel allot and must say the staff at Strand hotell is fantastic. *Maia in the reception was fantastic and so kind and professional and she made us to want to come back again very soon, she brought service to another level. we can really recommend this hotel both for business or a family weekend. we will for sure come back soon.

Having read some pretty brutal reviews on here, I was a bit nervous, but honestly this place offered everything I needed and more. Yes, the room was small, but all I really needed was a bed and a bathroom! Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff were (or was -- I only saw one member of staff while we were there) happy to help with any issues we had. The room was a little cold, but a small space heater was provided; there were only three pillows on the bed, but I requested another one which was quickly supplied. Breakfast, too, was simple but good, and they were able to supply us with gluten-free bread, which was much appreciated. The location is great, especially if you're going to Globen or to the Old Town, and it's super close to the metro so the rest of the city is pretty easily accessible too. And sure, there's no view (or even window!) as the hotel is located below ground level, but as I was only staying overnight and didn't need to spend much time in the room itself, it was great value and offered everything I could need. I'd happily stay here again.

The hotel is located so that you can easily reach the city center in 20 minutes by tram and underground. Multi-trip tickets can be purchased at the hotel reception. If you want to enjoy nature, you can reach the Nacka nature reserve by only a few stops with tram and bus The streets in the area with their canals are ideal for a walk. We have booked an apartment with a terrace on the 9th floor. We were warmly received and informed about the hotel. Cleaning and linen change take place once a week - if that is not enough, additional cleaning can be booked for a fee. Reception, elevators and rooms are very clean. The apartment we chose is approximately 45 square meters with an extra bedroom and living room with kitchenette. The closets are spacious and offer enough space for longer stays. The kitchen has a ceramic hob with two plates, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. Crockery and cutlery are available in sufficient quantities to take care of yourself. We did not choose breakfast because it is not offered in the restaurant because of Corona. The rooms are bright, with wooden floors and Scandinavian decor. Smart TV and WiFi are available. A large table offers plenty of space, in front of the sofa there is a small table and an armchair. The bathroom is functionally furnished with a sink, toilet and shower and offers enough storage space. The terrace is quite long, there are two chairs and a table. However it is not so inviting - ****s sprout through the base plates. The overall positive picture is clouded by this. The hotel has central air regulation. Since it was very hot during our stay, the ventilation left a lot to be desired and it was often very stuffy in the rooms. Opening the balcony door helped. However, there is no window to beopened in the bedroom. During our stay, a seagull and its chicks settled on the roof terrace - watching them was a nice pastime. We were very happy with our stay and would choose the hotel again.
