Visited mid March and were immediately impressed with the smooth check in and our first view of our room which was modern and extremely clean and welcoming. Enjoyed the good variety of food at all meals along with the great value drinks. The entertainment was very good each of our first three evenings until along with everything else it was locked down by the emergency situation caused by the virus, The management and staff were terrific in a very stressful situation keeping everyone informed and maintaining a smile. Obviously we were very dissapointed not to be able to enjoy all our stay the way we had started it so we will certainly be returning when it is possible, when we hope the people of Benidorm and the Rio Park have recovered.

Approx 4th visit to these apartments. We booked 2 x rooms, unfortunately on arrival One room was not ready. We were offered to stay at the other Primavera Hotel for One night at their cost, or to share a room with other family members with the First night cost deducted. We chose the 2nd option due to wanting to be in the New Town and the apartment being a 1 bedroom apt. We got a free drink on arrival, apartments have been renovated and very modern, including new sofa beds. I love the location of these and staff all friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately this time after our 4th night we had to ask for fresh towels (during a 6 night stay) beds did not get changed during our stay (not a major issue due to being Winter / Cooler temp ) and Maid only visited Once with a bin change. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Went here with Jet2 holidays 10/03/2020 for 1 week. Can't praise the hotel and staff highly enough. Asked for a high floor via email prior to our visit and was given a room 22nd floor (thank you)! Excellent view of pool towards the sea. Comfortable and modern room with large balcony and flat screen TV with English channels. Fridge for drinks and kettle etc... Paid a little extra for select upgrade. Well worth it with access to a private lounge and terrace and you can pour your own premium drinks between 1000-2400. Food was decent at all meals and we always found plenty to eat with no problems. Hotel very clean throughout. Entertainment was enjoyable (as far as hotel entertainment goes). Staff were excellent in every aspect, they were all friendly, helpful, pleasant and fun. Weather was superb for March, blue skies and sun almost every day, I don't know the temperatures but it was easily warm enough to sun bathe in shorts with no shirt on. Good mix of guests of all ages, plenty of different groups to chat to. Everything changed halfway through the holiday when the resort (and the whole of Spain) was basically put on lockdown, due to Coronavirus, and we could not go out of the hotel. However, despite all of the uncertainty and worry that this caused to everyone, including the staff, the hotel remained open for it's guests and still provided an excellent service to everyone (absolutely fantastic, you were all a credit to your hotel - thank you all so much). Jet 2 holidays and all of their staff were also all absolutely brilliant under what were very trying and uncertain circumstances for them and their staff. Despite the holiday being interrupted half way through (due to circumstances beyond anyone's control) we still had a brilliant holiday and cannot recommend this hotel or jet2 holidays highly enough). Once things hopefully return to normal (re the Coronavirus) my wife and I have vowed to revisit this hotel using jet 2 holidays as they thoroughly deserve our support and payback for the brilliant and admirable way in which they dealt with what must have been a very difficult and worrying situation). Muchas gracias.

Stayed here with friends for birthday celebrations. Mostly groups in the hotel but everyone was friendly and well behaved! In an ideal spot, not par from the promenade and slap bang in all the bars! Quick check in by lovely staff. We had a corner room on 4th floor the balcony was huge!! Sea, pool and road view. Rooms are modern and very clean. Staff in every day cleaning. The restaurant, bar and all communal areas were spotless too. Great breakfast with plenty of choice and the nicest waiter at breakfast called Manuel who sang while working! Bar prices are very reasonable too, no more than most of the bars with ample choice. Out of season so never ventured to the pool but through the window looked a lovely area. Sadly looks like the large marina hotel will block most of the sun though. There is a sun terrace tho which will get the sun during the day. It definitely deserves more than the 2 stars it has. I’ve stayed in 4 stars not as nice!! Will definitely stay here again. Lovely hotel and lovely staff. Thumbs up from me 👍🏻

Located close to the strip. Modern inside, clean and everything you need ie hairdryer, iron and fridge. Pool small but new and modern. On arrival we were greeted with a smile, we had to pay a refundable 200 euros for damages. Although next to the strip its quiet enough once doors shut if your wanting a siesta. The area is gated and entry is only by your keycard. There is a safe for 2.50 euros a day. My only dislike was the room wasn't cleaned or towels changed, I asked reception and they state as we were only staying 3 days it wouldn't be cleaned. We were also gave a letter on the night before departure to say take all rubbish to a skip which is located outside the property. We could have been told this before. Our shuttle was 3.10am so dropping rubbish off was slightly annoying. Also as you exit the complex and go left there are women who will try fleece men who are in groups or alone. Overall great base, modern and clean.

I always like to start off a review by stressing that you should take most reviews with a pinch of salt - as things like customer service, cleanliness, food, and location are all based on each individual person's personal opinions - and we all have different standards and expectations. We booked this apartment due to the pool. From previous experience of Benidorm I know must hotels are like high tower blocks and pools can have limited sun as a result – but the pictures of this pool looked good. We had requested an early check-in time before arrival. Considering we went mid-February I did not think this would be an issue – I was wrong. Arrived at around 1 pm and had to wait until 3 pm. This was only the first of a few issues at check-in. We were then informed we had to pay a 200 euro deposit – as though we were some kind of criminals. Then we were informed the pool was CLOSED. Nowhere did it mention when we booked that pool closed during certain periods. We paid more for this hotel and we could have got other hotels in better locations. Hotel The building itself in the reception area did not have much. One computer and a few vending machines. There is no bar area. The room was basic but had all we needed. Kitchen area and two bedrooms one with en-suite. Very large balcony, which despite having a sea view, never got any sun. Location Accommodation is located in new Benidorm. Around a five minute walk to stip and maybe ten minutes to beach. It is not the best location but not bad ether. Shops, restaurants etc all nearby. I probably would not stay here again as I was not impressed with check-in – and first impressions count. But if you are looking for a cheap place to stay, then you won’t have any issues with this place.

I booked our stay back in December before Covid came into play, and wasn’t sure we were going to end up staying. With UK restrictions on travel lifted 4 days before our flight, we were able to come and I’m glad we did. We debated not coming as we had never been to Benidorm before. It’s absolutely fantastic. On arrival we were met by Jordi, and he was lovely. Sorted our apartment out fast, and made sure we had everything we needed. We were given apartment 3B which was perfect as we didn’t want to be too high up, and we could see the sea, and also the mountainside from our balcony. There’s also two lifts which is a nice thing to have, as I know some apartment buildings only have one, and they are clean. Our apartment was immaculate. Largest fridge/freezer I think I’ve had in an apartment before which suited us to keep our drinks nice and cool. Microwave, toaster, coffee machine, and cooker top all in good condition and were great to have. Washing machine was definitely made use of a few times. TV channels had enough in English to find something to watch. They also had English radio which suited us later at night when we didn’t want to stay out all night so we could play some music and relax. The living space was large, pull out bed/sofa was comfortable too. Nice to have a table and chairs inside too. The bathroom was very spacious, good shower and again super clean! Balcony had its own furniture so unlike most places no need to bring the chairs from inside onto the balcony. Was very spacious so was very lovely. T On our 5th night we accidentally left our key card in our apartment, and Jordi was so understanding and can’t fault that, and he came out of his way to sort it for us and let us in on his day off which we really appreciated. Next time think I will make sure my sister doesn’t put both cards into her bag instead of one in each 🙈 There’s plenty around the apartments, there’s a small shop facing which has stayed open until 11pm which is handy. Pretty much everything on Calle Esperanto has been open throughout our whole stay so if one night you didn’t fancy going far, you definitely don’t have to! There’s a large mercado store a 5 minute walk away which we went to for all the things we needed Which we couldn’t get over the road which was great to have so close. The bar downstairs is brilliant. They have plenty of drinks to choose from, and the breakfast is brilliant. We had it 3 times, and didn’t leave a crumb! It’s not expensive and is definitely worth the money! The bar is open until late, and it’s great to nip down for a drink. They would also bring drinks to us at the pool if we went in to order one which was a lovely touch they didn’t have to do. The people who run it go above and beyond in customer service. The pool area was great. If you are sunbathing, the benches were laid out so you are able to socially distance which is nice. It was clean, temperature was perfect and routinely cleaned. We were at the pool

There is no doubt that the endless development in Benidorm reminds you of a concrete high rise jungle, having said that, the Sandos Monaco is a superb choice as a restful and well equipped hotel. The hotel is adult only, and offers the full range of board choices including a ‘select’ option. We chose to go all inclusive in a ‘select’ room. I would strongly advise everyone to go for the ‘select’ option as there are so many perks and advantages. The select rooms are larger and on the top two floors of the hotel, standard rooms are quite small, the select rooms are an acceptable size I would describe as medium, however it is the extras in the room and around the hotel that ensure that choosing a select room is well worth the extra cost. Select rooms, as well as being larger have a coffee machine, a nightly turn down service with chocolates, Cava on arrival, free access to the sauna and spa, free safe, free mini bar and access to the private bar and terrace. The room itself has a large four-piece bathroom set with a shower over bath, there is a hair dryer and a great range of toiletries including razor, toothbrushes and a multitude of little extras too many to mention. There was ample storage space and the room itself was in excellent condition with dark wood furniture and two comfortable queen sized beds. The mini bar was well stocked and free to use. The internet was extremely fast, running at about 30mbs which is excellent for a hotel, it is free to use. There are several European plug sockets around the room and the TV produced an excellent picture quality with a huge range of programmes including most BBC and ITV channels. The rooms, public areas and the hotel in general are spotlessly clean and a credit to the hotel. There is a well-equipped gym with a full range of machines and equipment, though it was rare to find anyone using it. There is a large outdoor swimming pool but even for hardy Brits it’s a little cold to use at the beginning of March. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the sea front, where there are more bars than you can shake a stick at, and it is also close to the old town. In the large and well-appointed foyer there is a base for holiday reps who can provide information on organised trips. The hotel reception staff are pleasant, efficient and welcoming, they are able to help with directions and suggestions and also provide maps and help in a multitude of ways. There are two bars, one on reception level and this is where the private bar is. Access is gained to the private bar with a swipe card and it is like walking into a peaceful inner sanctum. There is a TV and a large screen computer for anyone wishing to keep up with emails etc. There are easy chairs and a private terrace area which is lovely to sit and take in the sun with a G & T. There is a self service bar with a range of spirits which would put many pubs to shame, you name it and its there. There is a huge range of soft drinks, tonics etc

Is it as good as the hundreds of reviews suggest? YES! A modern hotel in a perfect location. Two blocks back from the promenade. Ideal for transport links, 'old town' and attractions of Benidorm. Well proportioned rooms, comfy beds, USB charging, TV with channels for all, a balcony with glass front gives an 'all round' vista. Delightful bathroom has a monsoon rain shower that's as good as everyone says: Best shower, ever. Safe was 15E for the week. Bar prices are OK. Request a 'pool view' room and you'll get sun all day, perfect! The pool terrace is absolutely lovely, clean, tidy and well presented, as is everywhere. Pool temperature 1st week of March = 24 degrees + so perfectly OK. Hotel staff are lovely: whoever you approach greets you with a smile and positive attitude. You get a 'good morning' from all! And so to the main attraction, subject of many previous reviews: Hotel Presidente's Restaurant & food: Q: Is it really that good? A: YES, AGAIN! We have stayed in more expensive, higher starred hotels, but never had hotel food this varied, this good, before. Served in a professional but still informal atmosphere, Hotel Presidente's restaurant is a delightful place to be, as witnessed by the smiling faces of diners and the willingness of complete strangers to freely chatter whilst enjoying their meals, make this restaurant a very happy place to be, and that's why Hotel Presidente receives so many, richly deserved, repeat bookings. No need to think about it, just book.

It is totally unfair about how people discribe these apartments. You should look at your booking agent's they are the problem. There are several privately owned Apartments that are perfectly presented. There is nothing wrong with the apartment block it's clean and well maintained. If people are getting large amounts of money stolen then why are they just leaving it lying around. This block is mainly privately owned with just the odd ones that a hotel uses as a overflow when they are full. This is to give you cheap accommodation.

This was our first visit to the Riudor, having spent most of our holidays at the Ambassador Playa across the road. We had always wondered what the Riudor would be like, so decided to give it a try. Firstly, its position. Rooms look onto either the Black Chicken bar or, alternatively, the Talk of the Town and Valentine's nightclubs. Both sides are noisy with Benidorm "revellers" but by closing the balcony doors it helps to drown out the din. But this IS Benidorm, after all! Rooms were kept clean and towels etc replaced every day. Rooms have tea/coffee-making facilities and are replenished daily. Our room had a walk-in shower, which was a boon for my partner who has slight difficulty getting into and out of a bath. The room also had a mini fridge. A safe is provided free of charge with only a €3 deposit for a key, refunded on departure. No complaints about the hotel in general, which was clean and suited our needs. Our only gripe concerns the restaurant. Not enough staff clearing tables and we often had to find ourselves cutlery as tables hadn't been laid. We also saw guests taking their own plates etc to the trolleys used to stack used crockery. The food. Breakfast was fine. We didn't partake of lunch so cannot comment on that. Dinner. In previous hotels we found a much greater choice. It's somewhat limited at the Riudor, hot food-wise. I also found myself using the microwave on several occasions as some of the food was less than hot and warm plates were difficult to come by. All In all, a decent enough stay but I have knocked off two stars due to restaurant/food issues and noise, the latter being an issue which cannot be avoided. We'll probably stick to the Ambassador Playa in future.

Great location with a 25 mins walk to the beach, 30 mins to the main strip of bars, & near the old town. The hotel was as quiet as it gets in Benidorm over night & free parking nearby. The check in was easy, with a car parking space outside to unload bags - we then found a car park 10 mins walk away towards the motorway. Our room was a good size, with a double bed, single bed & a desk & chair on the 4th floor plus a good size outside balcony. We only stayed the one night but I would be happy to stay longer, especially for the price we got via booking.com. Breakfast was what I would expect - bread to toast, a great selection of jams, ham, cheese, pastries, along with yoghurt, fruit & cereals. Tea, coffee & juice also available. The bed was very comfortable & the shower good too with plenty of clean towels & toiletries. Overall, a great find for the price. The only negative was the room smelled of drains when we entered as the room hadn't been used the night before. This soon cleared wirh the balcony door open.

We have just returned from Terralta following the coronavirus outbreak. We arrived 13/3 and by the evening Benidorm was in lockdown. The hotel did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and I will return to this hotel when all of this blows over. Benidorm itself surpassed my expectations. I feel we were staying at the ‘right end’ of Benidorm. Yes it’s set back from things but that gives you the opportunity to walk and see more. The beaches are beautiful. I would return with my family to Benidorm. The apartments were very clean and had everything you needed. My only criticism is the mattresses were a little rigid and for someone with a bad back I was glad I only had 3 nights on them. Food for a 3 star is what you’d expect. Plenty of breakfast choice. Served 8-10am. Evening meals a little basic and lacked in choice, but this may have been down to the impending close down due to the virus. Thanks again to all the staff for their kindness and humility in what must be difficult and uncertain times for them

Stayed here for 5 days with partner and 2 other couples and no complaints whatsoever. Hotel was spotless. Room very adequately sized and decent sized balcony too. Staff very friendly and helpful and room was cleaned daily and clean towels left. Good location between old and new town and 5-10 minute stroll to beach front and shops; also to main clubs like red lion, cafe benidorm etc. Plenty of local pubs, restaurants and bars nearby also. Didn’t have any food in hotel so unsure of quality and entertainment was geared towards Spanish guests - went once- but as so close to many other places this did not pose any problems for us. Drinks were reasonably priced and you were given peanuts and olives every time you purchased a drink. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return to it (not with kids though).

Portofino 2 is located just on the Levante beach edge of the Old Town ,within a short walk of amenities in both the new & old towns & close to several bus routes. The rooms are not massive but there are only 2 apartments per floor. Wardrobe space is limited but beds are comfortable & there are plenty of facilities within for self catering. An iron & board is also included.Although bed changing & towel changing are diy enterprises there are plenty of clean towels & sheets available.Balcony is large with table. There are drawbacks with these apartments ! Over the Hallowe'en weekend there is a Spanish nightclub (Tequila) that seems to be open at least 3 or 4 nights at weekends & the Spaniards love to stand in the street talking loudly ,sometimes till 8 am....luckily we had had enough booze the nights before to sleep through, so book here with caution. On arrival 200 euro deposit is requested which is not refundable till mid afternoon on departure day so much is left to trust when parting with a deposit especially if you are departing early & paying by card. Luckily, we didn't leave till mid afternoon so i made sure my deposit was repaid. Apart from those two hiccups the stay was excellent & there are many bars within easy reach. The Bodhran Irish bar on the way to the beach has life Irish music for 3 hours per night & the Tower Lounge (100 yards) has 2 acts per night.

A great modern hotel located close to the beach and center of Benidorm. Hotel room equipped with very comfortable beds and made up everyday. Hotel facilities really good and food variety quite good for those who aren't vegetarian. As per request they do elaborate 1 or 2 dishes to not make it limited for vegetarians. Staff great, polite, professional and some really friendly. Particularly would really like to thank Cozmin, Pepe, Rocio, the cleaner on the 5th floor, Mari, the entertainer and the cooks for having made our stay excellent, so comfortable and entertaining. The only con in our stay was the heating system that couldn't be regulated by us guests despite being off. Nevertheless would recommend highly this hotel and repeat my stay.

We returned on the 15th March following our 2nd visit in 12 months. Sadly we were caught up in the coronavirus lockdown which impacted on the last 2 days of our holiday. Staff at the hotel were excellent and managed the situation very well. Rooms- spotless and had everything we needed. Pool area- lovely! Plenty of sunbeds and weather was great! Staff- Lovely and attentive Food- Much improved on last year, plenty of choice. Ideal central location. Lovely stylish hotel with great facilities. Negatives- Only 2 small ones...I dont feel you should have to pay for water with your evening meal (dont get charged for drinks at breakfast). Poolside - I know that this is NOT the fault of the hotel but it was uncomfortable to hear a dog crying/yelping/wailing EVERY day in the residential block next door. All in all a fabulous stay and would certainly return!

We stayed here for 3 nights 14th-17th Feb.we had a quadruple room which is actually 2 separate bedrooms with 4 single beds and a shared bathroom. It was immaculately clean modern and looked like the hotel had recently been refurbished. We had a huge balcony with sun loungers and table and 4 chairs. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room or hairdryer but I believe you can hire a hairdryer but I'm not sure about a kettle.we were bed and breakfast and I have to say we loved the breakfast as it was fried eggs ,bacon, sausages and beans every day plus all the usual fruits, cereals and cold meat platters etc.The staff are very helpful and kind and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a good position in old town. Its about a 7-10 minute walk to seafront depending how fast you walk.We will definitely return and I cant believe this hotel is only a 3 star as it's so nice. We come to Benidorm twice a year out of season infact I have been to Benidorm too many times to remember and this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in.

Have just returned from a week over half term with my mother and my son. Can not fault this hotel it's true amazing. The level of cleanliness is faultless with our room clean every day and always smelling fresh. The outdoor pool was a little chilly considering the time of year but the indoor pool lovely and warm and again clean and tidy. Entertainment for winter was amazing and very well enjoyed. Food was fantastic and a lovely variety every day lots of local dishes. Staff friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The hotel is a little way out but personally I think this works in its favour. The bus to town stops right outside and there's a supermarket a short walk away. I can be very critical but this hotel truly deserves the 4 stars it has and I wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

We always choose Hotel Poseidon Playa when we go to Benidorm!! That side of the beach is the best one, not crowded at all, also the hotel can offer beach towels and has all needful facilities such as parking and swimming pool as well plus its own first line place on the beach, super close to the sea. Food is amazing and everybody is very friendly especially at the restaurant!! Thanks to Paqui for taking care of our rooms, Minh for helping choose the best and encouraging to go for the full board!! Thanks to Marcello, but the most important THANKS TO NOELIA for a nice checking in🤗 and assisting us in her best way, really nice to see you again, we will definitely come back soon!!

The room was very clean and the breakfast was quite rich. We were two people travelling. Can you not have an extra bed? There are some free parking spaces at the hotel entrance, but some have to leave before 9:00 in the morning.

We were substituted this hotel as ours was not open and all I can really say is we won a watch. This hotel is lovely, service in the bars and restaurants is good and its premium drinks included in the AI package. The roof top bar is nice and although the lounger beds were quite low they offered a magnificent view over the sea. Our room was spotlessly clean, mini bar was replenished everyday and rooms were cleaned/made up. We were a group of 3 girls in our 40's. The hotel was mainly Spanish people but I'd say this is due to people doing staycation's. Our room faced out to the sea so it really was a fantastic view to wake up too. The pool is small and there isn't many beds so if you want a spot get down early. We didn't do the entertainment at the night however Sam who is the lady running the shows etc was lovely and she did keep us informed as to what was on etc. I would definitely stay here again and would be happy to take my children and husband here.

This hotel was allocated to us following the closure of our original hotel due to Covid 19. We certainly fell on our feet with this hotel. 4 star, spotlessly clean, pleasant staff, good breakfast choice and very central to all amenities, shops and transport. There is a taxi rank immediately in front on the main strip and very close to the levante beach. The area was Policed every 15 minutes checking people were masked other than sunbathers on the beach and if you were eating or drinking. I felt completely safe in the hotel and on the street. Would definitely visit this hotel again. .One of the best of my extensive travels..
