0.5km from MEZZOLocation is very near to the metro going to Republic Square. I like the calmness of the place especially that I’m the only guest in the room (6 beds capacity) because it’s not peak season. Nice owner especially to Lilia who kept asking how’s my stay and advised to visit different places in town. Lovely breakfast as well to filled my stomach for the whole day tour, thanks auntie. Very clean room and bathroom as well. Heater is available. 0.51km from MEZZOWhere to begin and where to end? Lets take it from the top. I booked a comfy double room with balcony. Since i wanted confirmation me and my girlfriend sent an email requesting booking confirmation of the said room. Someone replied to our email momentarily using bad english basically saying that when the guest will arrive we will show him our best room and that guest will be satisfied..since my flight was arriving very early in the morning, around 4 in the morning i foretold them about it adn they said no problem..but when i arrived the hotels door was closed..first time i see a hotel closing at 00:00..i was knocking on their door but no one was coming..it was like empty place..there was only one armenian number written..thank god the taxi driver helped me get in touch and later an old lady came and welcomed me..she was nice but she didnt check me in..didnt ask for any documents of any sort..she told me that she had been told to show me 3 rooms (the 1 i booked among them) and if i want i could choose either one of them..so naturally i chose the bigger one which was one category higher..HOWEVER before going in i asked her TWICE if i have to pay extra or if its just like the email said a "so called" upgrade..she told me that whatever the case i dont have to pay so i agreed...later i realised that the room suffered so much,,,dirty linen on the bed..a bottle of water balancing the fridge...the tap in the bathroom was broken..and the wate boiler was so noisy it was impossible to sleep..also in the room next to ours there was a very loud couple playing music until early 7 o clock in the morning..the next morning i asked the receptionist to take care of my room and she complied..the stuff was passive at best..very rude sometimes..and they dont speak english! they dont even greet firsthand..its like they dont want you there...later that night i went down to ask about dinner time and the girl at the reception told me out of nowhere that i have to change rooms..to go back to the room i booked even tho they themselves chose to upgrade me..and they also asked for extra money!!! and they said that even if i move to my original room that i still have to pay extra for one night the upgraded room...oh god..DONT GO THERE..VERY RUDE STAFF EVEN AGGRESSIVE SOMETIMES (NOT PHYSICALLY), DIRTY ROOMS, VERY BAD SOUNDPROOFING NON EXISTENT..STAFF DOESNT CARE ABOUT YOU, WITHOUT EVEN CHECKING ME IN, THEY ASK FOR MONEY AND EXTRA MONEY ABOUT SOMETHING THEY INITIATED FOR FREE..very bad experience since that was my first time in Armenia..not all of the staff was bad..the cleaning lady was nice..and one of the receptionists was at least somewhat helpful...however the hotel isnt even worth 1 star..

0.56km from MEZZOi was on a tour of armenia, we had a booking at ani plaza, when i checked my room for the price agreed, i didnt like it, thought it was too small, i approached reception and this bright young lady, helen, suggested a better room, for which i had to pay more, showed me the room, and gave me the new price ...... i thought the way she handled it was superb. bell boy service also good. one downside, the currency exchange facility person which is based close to reception...was both unhelpful and discourteous.

Hotels Near Mezzo In Yerevan Review
Good new hotel in the center. Good sercice, classic standart rooms, good for business! Near hotel we find nice place for dinner if you whant good place with armenian cuisine - Vinograd. Recommended!!!!!!
Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, check in and out was easy and non problematic. The staff are very helpful, polite and accommodating. Rooms are spacious, although I’d appreciate an armchair in the room. No problem with the noise either if you’re allocated to an upper floor. Comfortable bathroom with all necessary amenities daily filled up. Breakfast of abundant variety emphasising on local products. Dinner at the cafe by the lobby nothing memorable. Location of the hotel great, within minutes one can be at central square, restaurants, museums etc. 24h gym, sauna and great massage as well. Would definitely consider staying at this hotel again
I was a solo traveler stayed there for 2 days (20 Feb 2020) Since my travel plan was so quick I couldn’t plan anything and I don’t know what do next after checking In on Holiday Inn. But the lady on the front desk helped me for all with a polite smile.Helped me for finding good restaurants, currency exchange, how to do Yerevan city tour without taxi and guide by giving me the map and pointing important locations etc. And next day she helped me to explore good places in Outside Yerevan as well. I guess her name is “Anie” but not sure anyhow thank you for all. Their hospitality was amazing, they are treating their clients in a good way Hotel Room is good standard Every thing was fine for me I recommend Holiday Inn Yereven Any one looking for visit Yerevan ( Armenia) you can message me on Instagram my Id “xasifu” I can guide you Thank you
Good hotel and good staff. Very clean as well.
The girl service at the front desk was very good. After asking some questions, I was very patient and helpful, and the breakfast was OK. The hotel was very cost-effective.
This hotel is in a good location and an easy walk to the new musical fountains and several good restaurants. The general area for sitting which includes the bar is pleasant. The Restaurant served good food for dinner but was only open one evening out of 5 and only one other couple dined there that evening. Rooms are fairrly basic and do need some updating and attention to general maintenance. The bar staff had little to do but did not approach you to ask what you wanted. This hotel could be very good but seems to lack a firm management hand and doesn't appear to want to attract custom. The staff are pleasant, helpful and friendly but they need support and direction. This hotel should be "buzzing".
Wonderful! Five stars to them! I spent here seven days, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Quiet, clean, accessible location, located very close to the city center. Excellent staff, Fabulous! Five stars for them! I spent here seven days, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Quiet, clean, accessible location, located very close to the city center, and most tourist attractions, major points of interest are close by. Excellent and professional staff, very friendly and courteous, ready to help you whenever you need, making sure your experience here is one that meets your expectations. Diverse and delicious breakfast. If you decide to visit Armenia, then they have what you need: very good tours at attractive prices, the staff providing you with the necessary advice and support in this regard. In conclusion, it was the most suitable choice for my needs and I'm convinced that I will return here for future trips. Thank you!
This hotel is located in downtown Yerevan, about ten minutes walk from Republic Square and about 20 minutes walk from Freedom Square. The train station can take the subway to the Republic Square and the Kililia bus station can take the 5th and 23rd roads. The surrounding supermarket travel agency is very convenient. The room is clean and tidy, the extra bed in the triple room is not narrow, there is a place to change money in the lobby, and a comfortable hotel with good cost performance. The room rate is the front desk where cash is paid.
Stayed here for two weeks. Very friendly staff. Glad I found this place for my holiday. Definitely coming back if I back to Yerevan. Everybody is here to help you 24/7! They have a daily routine for cleaning and changing towels if you need. It’s a bit far from town but you can use app for book a taxi or asking the manager to do so.
This was out first stay in Yerevan so I can’t compare Green Palace to others in the city but I wouldn’t hesitate to return to stay there again. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of all you need to do and see in the country. A special mention to Sose who was always on hand with a smile to help and advise(in English as my Russian leaves much to be desired and my Armenians even worse!!)The rooms were clean, well stocked with mini bar and two tv’s, great showers and comfy beds and air conditioning. The hotel is approx 10mins by taxi from the centre but taxi’s are plentiful and it only costs £2 so we made the most of them. Bed and breakfast for approx £40 a night with swimming pool and sauna (paid for separately) and great English/Russian speaking staff what’s not to like. My only quibble would be the WiFi in our room was intermittent so best to have your own data plan in case however it was good at the pool.
The location is nice, the apartment we booked got upgraded which was a nice surprise. The host was welcoming and supportive. Highly recommended!!!
A very good hotel, the service staff are very friendly, the location is very good, it is very convenient to walk to the Republic Square, there are many markets and large supermarkets around, and there is a 24-hour dollar exchange point opposite the hotel.
We were absoutely amazed by the apartment and its facilities. The building is new, and the location is great (only 3 minutes walk from the Republic Square; there are a lot of shops, pharmacies etc. in the surrounding). The staff is friendly and helpful and our room was cleaned every 2 days. useful info: Their office is on the 4th floor, so go there for check in and check out We highly recommend it, travellers from Serbia
Location: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (800 meters from Republic Square, 5-8 minutes walk) Surrounding environment: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (very safe, surrounding restaurants, small shops, pharmacies are complete) Hotel Facilities: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 (the lobby has a separate lounge area with a restaurant) Hotel services: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (very good service, fluent English, very warm and friendly) Room Facilities: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (The room is very large, everything is very good) Room hygiene: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Room price: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 (high season 600RMB)
this hotel has one of the best hotel staff I have ever met. everyone is so friendly. the room was clean and the location is awesome. its 5 mins away from almost everything in Yerevan. breakfast was okay considering the price and my room has a balcony to smoke which was good. hot water is always provided and sheets are clean.
When I started to plan our trip to Armenia, I chose few requirements for the hotel: - good location - **** - affordable price Aviatrans filled them all. From the first moment communication with hotel was good. The hotel itself is located right at the heart of Yerevan. We took superior room, which was spaceous, created with quality materials and comfortable bed - and ofcource with bathtub. Breakfast was good - enough sortiment for our whole stay. The best part was the staff - they were the best! From the first moment we were met with great hospitality and friendliness. Our every question and need was answered. My wife had her birthday was during our stay and hotel administration congratulated her by bringing shampagne and chocolate to our room. Even though I have travelled in 50 countries, I have never met such hospitality. Thank you Aviatrans staff for making our stay in Armenia such a pleasure - because of you we fell in love with Armenia. This was our first time here - but I am sure not the last :-) Antti & Stina
Despite being hard for taxi's to find, the slightly shabby appearance of the building and entrance, the apartment itself was modern, clean and quiet. Staff very helpful and the location is ideal with the main sights of Yerevan all within walking distance. The only things that could improve it would be blackout curtains - take an eye mask! - and some convenience items - soap, shampoo, tea, coffee etc. I also recommend you get your taxi driver to phone for directions!
I arrived very late at night (approx 1am) and the hotel staff checked me in very quickly and escorted me to my room. The room was a good size and two bottles of water were provided per day plus a well stocked (chargeable) minibar. The bed was really comfortable so I slept really well during me stay. The breakfast was buffet style with a wide selection of food. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel is just a short distance from the Cascades. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
In the center of the capital, this hotel is a very good option. The room and the baht room were always clean. In the reception and in the bar, the staff was nice and ready to help. The breakfast was good. Outside there are bars but from 23h people are advise to be quiet.
In Yerevan this place is not bad. The room is so wide and the bathroom is quite large, but the water is not flowing smoothly. I booked a twin room, but I gave a room on the fourth floor without a balcony. I see from the hotel introduction that most rooms have a balcony, because it doesn't matter if you stay for only one night. The facilities in the room are similar to the domestic three-star facilities. The front desk is quite satisfactory, there is only one hotel elevator, and the waiting time is too long. Breakfast is on the 12th floor, which fits the Chinese stomach and can be full. There is a supermarket opposite, which is very convenient. Geographic location is fine, anyway, the whole city is not big, and walking is fine. I think other rooms should be bigger than this value room.
Hotel is fine (although restaurant wait staff's attitude could be improved), but it is a one mile walk to the Cascades & any restaurants. (We clocked it). Breakfast nominally starts at 7:30 but bread and milk for cereal doesn't come out until 8:00, even if you ask. If you don't feel like the 1-mile walk to the Cascades area (which is mostly touristy cafes) or further to other areas, then the hotel has a decent restaurant for dinner. You may need to knock on the kitchen door to exhume the waiter. Rooms are comfortable. All in all I'd check out the reviews on other hotels.
Well, I'm very disappointed of this hotel. A friend of the manager advised us this hotel for 3 guys (me and my 2 sons, 16 and 18) and dropped us there. We arrived at the reception and the lady saw we were 3 guys. She showed us a rooms with 2 good single beds and said she will put an extra bed. I was confident so I paid for the room for 2 nights. My BIG mistake !!! When we entered in the room we discovered that the extra bed was a small one for a 12 year old child. Of course, one of us didn't fit in the bed. I asked to the reception to have another bed. It wasn't possible. Ok, so what to do ? One of us tried to fit inside the bed but is was really not possible. So I went back to the reception. Reception told me it was not possible to refund us because the money was inside the machine. Really !?? Anyway, we had no other choice and had to leave. The lady found it silly but what to do ? She called the manager and she proposed us to rent 2 rooms. That solution didn't fit us, why do I have to rent 2 rooms ??? And we don't want to be separated. Clearly, the staff didn't want to give back the money. I find that unfair because we didn't book the room and we didn't use the room. The lady called again the manager and finally refund 50%... Why only 50% ??? Because money is inside the machine and it's not possible... Silly !!! And after another reason, I had to understand that they are not sure to Book the room again !!! Sorry ? Again, we didn't book the room and we didn't use it !!! We left and found a very nice hotel with swimming-pool for 10€ less per night. Last thing, the WiFi is not working well and not at all inside the room. Never again. Look around, there are better hotels and less expensive.
Recently stayed at this hotel with a friend as a base for exploring Armenia. I've been to Armenia three times now for hiking trips and wanted to try this hotel as the newest hotel in the city. In short, there is no hotel in the whole country that matches the Alexander in luxury. It meets or exceeds European standards of luxury. The rooftop pool, sauna, steam room, and gym are very well designed and a great amenity to relax after a long day of hiking and exploring. Rooms are great. There is nothing to complain about at this hotel. The one constructive comment I'd make that I hope the hotel manager sees is the following. Some hotel staff sometimes stare excessively long at guests. I know it comes from a place of interest and is somewhat cultural but its a habit that would make some guests feel a little uncomfortable because in the west, starring is seen as a challenge of sorts. That said, if you asked any of the staff for anything they immediately smile and do their best to help. So I know the starring is harmless but its just a bit odd. To be clear however, this is the same at every Armenian hotel but for the Alexander to stand out I think it should break these habits.
I cannot thank the staff of the Silk Road Hotel enough for a fabulous stay in Armenia. This amazing group of (mostly) young people made sure our every need was attended to. They are friendly, attentive, serious, committed. They gave us great advice where to go, where to eat and drink, where to buy, what to see. We learned a great deal about Armenian culture thanks to this special hotel-museum, particularly about carpet making. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The garden is a gem and it is a delight to sit there in the evening when a cool breeze is blowing. The breakfast is delicious, extremely generous and varied (we stayed for a week and every day there were different goodies). We also had dinner and drinks at the hotel several times and the food and wine were good and very reasonable. Perhaps the only slight drawback is that the hotel is a fairly short walk from the centre of town, but you soon get used to it and the many advantages make it worthwhile. Don't look any further, stay at the Silk Road Hotel when in Yerevan.
I stayed for 5 days ... October 3-8 ...at the Apricot and found it an excellent holiday experience. Beautiful rooms, recently decorated with excellent facilities... walk in showers in particular and breakfast served on a splendid balcony dining room overlooking Mt Ararat... a really spectacular setting... and the breakfast was comprehensive either cooked or continental or a mixture. The staff were particularly professional... splendidly friendly and very efficient... good at recommending and would book taxis and make dining reservations. They all spoke English and were interesting to talk to about life and culture in Yerevan... a highlight of the visit ... such a pleasant find and I would certainly recommend this lovely hotel.
If your looking for luxury at an affordable price then the ris dalma collection apartments are you only choice in Yerevan. From the moment we walked into the building we where greeted by the 24 hour reception team that where happy to help with all our questions at anytime of the day. These type of serviced apartments are blurring the line between hotels and self catering. As they offer the daily cleaning and turndown service of a hotel but the space and freedom of your own apartment. The Apartment once we stepped into the apartment we immediately felt the quality of the materials used in the apartment. That quality plus the well though layout and design would not be out of place in a 5* hotel. We had a one bedroom apartment but penthouses are available. It sleeps four people if needed as the sofa turns into a double bed. We where located on the 11 floor that provided us with some of her best views in the whole city. The kitchen this area has everything you need for the duration of your stay. All equipment is included and even the little extras like salt and oil are provided for you. Oven and microwave are there if you planning on some grand home cooking. Living Area in this beautifully designed area you find a vast open plan space with comfortable sofa, dinner table, smart tv with Netflix & international channels. And the best part of the apartment is the the vistas from the full panoramic windows that span the whole apartment giving you amazing views of the old city and surrounding area. We spent many a night stargazing on the window sill with a glass of wine. The bedroom double or twin beds are your choice on booking. It have a washing machine, iron, hair dryer and all the space you need for your clothing. The beds are super comfortable and for those morning when you don’t want to get out of bed you have another smart tv for lazy viewing. Location The apartment are located just outside of the main downtown area but still within walking distance it’s based in a super new apartment block that you can see for miles around. On the opposite side of the road you have a huge mall that has all the stores you would ever need and a market. As the apartments are located on top of a hill we had spectacular views of the city especially in the night time. I can honestly say that this is the highest quality apartment that I have ever stayed in while on holiday. I will definitely be coming back when I’m in Yerevan. A big thanks to the team for the kind service.

Awesome, especially the aunts of the Youth Hostel, give me this food all day long, the one who eats, has always praised the Chinese people, in fact, I just do it myself, and I have cleaned up the package.
Clean and modern hotel. We got a spacious room that came with a great view and a big balcony. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Rooms were quiet, location was excellent and as central as you can get. A special mention to Talar who was extra helpful and made the stay that much better. Helped us plan our journeys with a personal touch. It was great.
This hotel was booked for our group by event organizers and so we did not really do the market research this time. "Konyak" is, in fact, an alternative spelling of Cognac. Usually, the personnel greet guests with this drink on arrival. The rooms are of an average size, equipped with aircon, refrigerator, slippers and bathrobes. Breakfast is almost the same every morning, but the variety of food is good. There are some interesting panoramic views from the terrace of the breakfast room. Outdoor swimming pool is well-sized; a good place to chill out in the evening. There is a bar on the ground floor, but beware: the prices for some kinds of cognac are exorbitant, do inquire before ordering to avoid surprises while checking out.
