We came here (my teenage son and I) because another motel in the area messed up my reservation, leaving us stranded at 1:AM on a Sunday Morning. Parkway Inn was the only place with availability. This is how we “chose” Parkway. First, the room was relatively inexpensive. The staff was incredibly friendly. Every single person with which I interacted was polite, smiling, and pleasant. Our room was clean and simple: 2 beds, a bathroom, and a TV. It also had a desk. Interestingly enough, the WiFi, though, was actually strong. Possibly the best signal I’ve ever had at a hotel. Past that, nothing impressive, but you get what you pay for. Probably the only down-side is they don’t have cable. They just use a digital antenna for channels, and only maybe 10 are semi-watchable…1 local station, 1 Telemundo, the rest are hit-or-miss. The hotel is about 3 blocks from Miami International Airport. There’s a decent pub across the street - Bryson’s - also with friendly people. There’s a Burger King across the street and a pretty cool convenience store around the corner. If you’re on a budget and really don’t care where you stay, this is perfect. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this motel. The staff is awesome - probably in the top 1% of hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. No-frills is what it is.

We were on a family trip and stayed for one night (because of the delayed flight we arrived at 3am and checked out at 11am). We had a short night at the hotel, enjoyed breakfast, checked out and left. When we got home a week later and checked our bills we noticed that the hotel silently charged us an additional $100. We immediately called the hotel to ask why this happened and the response was that the “alarm clock” was missing in the room after we left and we needed to pay for it. Note that they never bothered to contact us (phone or email) about the missing item and just took the liberty to take this money. Regarding the phone call that I made, in my opinion, this issue was poorly handled by the management, the communication was rude and basically ended up with person on the phone repeatedly saying that the item is missing, they are sure that we took it and we need to pay. Should I say we didn't steal it? Of course, now being 1,300 miles away I have no proof and I've no idea what should work as a proof. I checked other one-star reviews below and guess what? There is at least one review (Jan 2020) where the guest is complaining about a similar charge, also for the "stolen" alarm clock! Besides, why would someone need some used cheap (?) alarm clock from a hotel? I'm starting to suspect an "inside housekeeping theft ring operation", hilariously focused on clocks... I have disputed the charge through my credit card company and strongly suggest you to check your transactions for these silent charges if you ever stayed at this place. Also, I don't think I will ever stay at this place again but I am trying to think of theoretically possible preventative measures to keep this from happening again. Going over the list of items one by one with the housekeeper on checkin/checkout? Not even funny.

Review of Sleep Inn, Miami Airport, Latin Cafe 2000, Magic City ****** and Suvi Thai Sushi Restaurant. Sleep Inn: Budget hotel. You get what you pay for. My room was small. Very small bathroom, similar to cruise cabin. Water was luke warm. Hard to shower in the morning. No tub only shower, which was dingy with black in crevices, see pictures below. Will report to management upon check out and will update this review with their response. Not much space. No sofa or chair to sit on. No luggage stand. Pool clyosed. At Check-in, their system was down, nobody was able to be checked in for about 1 hour. They offered no apologies, even water while we waited. We decided to go to lunch and when we returned, it was back up. Suvi Thai Sushi Restaurant. This restaurant is located in an area close to a busy street. Within walking distance to the Sleep Inn. There is also a Burger King, an Irish pub and a restaurant called Downstairs all within walking distance. The Thai and Sushi Restaurant: The food was very good and unsweetened ice tea was delicious. And reasonably priced. Pleasantly surprised as I don't eat Sushi, but other items on the menu were very good. My fried rice was delicious and the fried chicken pieces in a sweet chili sauce was sooo tasty. We had vegetable rolls with a sweet chili dipping sauce for appetizer. Sooo good. Unsweetened ice tea was fresh and real tea too. Yummy. Brian enjoyed his sushi. Said was very tasty. He enjoyed the unsweetened ice tea as well. Service a little slow with only 2 servers and was busy for lunch. But other than that, service was still good and servers friendly. Magic City ****** is close by. Around $10 to $13 Uber drive. Lots of slots but not giving out anything, which was discouraging, and we left quickly. Latin Cafe 2000 was within walking distance from Magic City ******, at least for us, as we like to walk. I liked my food, but Brian said it was ok. The coffee for me was delicious. Cafe con leche. He had Cafe Americano and said was ok, not bad or good, just ok. The empanadas were delicious. The plantain chips, really good. Recommend: Thai and Sushi Restaurant, Magic City ****** for a little fun, if you are into ******s, and Latin Cafe 2000 for authentic Cuban Cuisine and Coffee. Not recommended: Sleep Inn. Get a better hotel. It was Spring break, and the price I paid was outrageous at $146 Total price. But hotel rates were high in the Miami area for my travel dates. In all fairness, the hotel did offer a complimentary airport shuttle, which was good. They pickup at the airport every 30-45 minutes. Shuttle van was clean and the driver friendly. Continental breakfast was typical with coffee, juices, bagels, waffles, sausage, muffins, yogurt and cereal. Update:. We reported room problems to front desk. All they did was offer us another room to shower before checking out, which we didn't take advantage of because we were in a rush to get to Port of Miami. Hope

So we had reserved our room here, but then thought we didn't have time to visit. We cancelled with no issues from the property, but then we decided to come after all, so we rebooked. This is a perfect hotel for someone staying long or short-term. They offer a full size fridge, microwave and stove. They do offer dishes and coffeemakers with coffee packets at no charge. However, they don't have creamer or sugar so bring your own. And you can ask to use a broom and dust mop which are no charge. The room is beautifully decorated and not any flaws to the room. I only saw one small hair left on the shower wall when I first inspected the room. The double room with the sofa bed is big enough for six people. There's three lamps in the room, and all of them have two USB plugs so you can charge your devices. The towels are nice and fluffy and big. They do have a pool area right outside of the hotel in the back, but I was told it's closed right now. The pool sitting by itself off to the left when you drive up to the hotel is not the pool for this hotel. They also have elevators, and a small gym with a treadmill and stepper on the 2nd floor. They offer a little basic breakfast of like bagels and stuff like that, til 9:30 am. Most of their parking is in the back or side, but it's well lit and you can access the hotel from locked doors on those sides. You are almost right next to the airport but it's relatively quiet considering. But bring earbuds or sleeping pills just in case you're a super light sleeper. It's actually a really quiet peaceful hotel even with kids. The elevators are large and bright. There's also a laundry area for the guests. The stairwell isn't the prettiest, but not gross like some we've seen at hotels. It's very old, discolored and dingy on the carpeting. Very friendly front desk clerk lady. If you think you need a little extra time to pack up and shower, and all that just, let the front desk know. Highly recommend for really anyone. Just bring your own meals.

Spacious room, many amenities and thoughtful details. Full kitchenette and utensils to prepare a meal. Full size refrigerator/freezer. Microwave and 2 burner cooktop. Other items can be borrowed. Plenty of space to unpack, then relax or work. Nice gym. Helpful, friendly staff. Comfortable bed, quality bed linens and towels etc. This is a lovely hotel, I could happily spendu mu ch longer here. Any hotel near an airport will have airport noise, that is not in the power of the staff to control. If that bothers you, bring earplugs or book somewhere further from the airport.

We had a forced overnight in Miami before flying to South America. I booked the Onyx for the night as the price was reasonable and in a decent location. Since we arrived in Miami about midnight and our morning flight was at 9:30 we really just wanted to get to the hotel and grab a few hours sleep. I called the hotel from DFW and was told the shuttle was not running and we'd need to take a taxi. IT'S A FLAT RATE OF $17! For a 6 minute ride! I asked at the desk what the issue about the shuttle and was told it was at a mechanic for repairs and wouldn't be ready until after 8am in the morning. We had a 9:30am flight so 8am was way too late for us so we had to pay $18 for a ride back to the airport. I asked for reimbursement and was denied. Let's see...the hotel shuttle had issues and was not operating. So instead of renting a van for a few days or borrowing a van from another hotel or ANYTHING. Just make the esteemed "guest" be inconvenienced and have to pay...and this is after the website says there is a shuttle. The hotel room was fine but the entire hotel feels like it needs some touching up. The woman who checked us in was great. The fellow at check-out seemed rather overwhelmed but was pleasant. The breakfast was adequate if not inspired. No juice...really? Let's just say that there are dozens of hotels at the Miami airport and I never need stay at the Onyx again.

It's ok if you are planning to stay only for one night because it's near the airport and they offer free shuttle. But I don't recommended as a place to go on vacations with your family. The breakfast is so poor I had to go to McDonald's and IHOP that is near. There is no elevator and I requested a room on the first floor and didn't receive it so I have to go through the stairs with all the luggage, some of the staff help me (trying to do their best) but still is something uncomfortable. There was a lot of noise in the corridors, people smocking marihuana in the parking lot, maybe because of the price the type of people that go is not the best (and I can assure you Im not elitist).

Stayed here one night for a pre-cruise stay. Perfectly adequate for a chain hotel. The most disappointing part actually wasn't event the hotel but the airport shuttle service. Waited over an hour even though the hotel is within less than 10 minutes drive from the airport. The airport shuttle picks you up at the arrivals bus zones 7, 15, and 23 in the hotel shuttle area. Was told they come evert hour on the hour but actually came at random times, for instance it was there at 3:50PM instead of at 4 so good thing we were already waiting for it earlier. When it came we were at the last stop (#23) so it was already full. Even though they had already put our luggage in the back when we went to get inside it was completely full so we couldn't get on and had to have our luggage taken back out. The guy loading the luggages told us that the next one would be by in about 10 minutes but it took half an hour. We almost called an Uber but decided to wait for the free shuttle instead and this time made sure we got on. The shuttle runs from 6AM to midnight. So once we got to the hotel it was fine, smooth check in and the room was your standard chain hotel room, pretty decent with a fridge, microwave, safe (didn't work), iron, blow dryer, couch, desk, standard bathroom amenities etc. Our room was facing NW 36th Street which is a main street running north of the airport so we were able to view the airport runway and planes taking off which was pretty cool, I would track them on the Flightradar app to see where they were going. It wasn't noisy and we were able to sleep fine. The hotel is located behind a Days Inn motel which has terrible reviews. I could see the back parking lot of this hotel from my window and saw lots of shady looking people around, especially at night, which made me so glad we didn't stay there instead. **********s and drug dealers if I'm being blunt. Some people have said the area is dangerous but it's not, it's located near the airport but behind it's a residential area. You do see some homeless and shady looking people walking around on the streets outside but they didn't bother us and you also see lots of tourists walking around so there's a mix of people. Maybe just don't walk around too much at night and you'll be fine. The location of the hotel is not bad, there is a McDonalds about a 5 minute walk away and a Circle K next door which was really well stocked with booze, fruits, drinks, snacks, yogurts, etc. There is also an IHOP if you want to walk a bit further than the McDonalds still less than a 10 minute walk away. The next morning we had breakfast which is served from 6-10am. It was really good and there was seating for everyone even though it was pretty busy. They had both hot and continental foods like eggs, toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc. The lobby was busy to get the bus to the cruise port, it was just parked by the side of the hotel and nobody came in to tell us they were ready to board but we saw people outside wal

The taxi was wrong. It was more than 4 am when I came here. The button for booking last night went dark. The day of booking was counted as yesterday. Check out at 11 o'clock and rest for a few hours. When the reservation is made, no check-in and no cancellation will be given. Only checked in again at night and found a motel with a gas station outside.

This is a relatively new hotel, located in the business district of Miami, although it is in a busy city, but the sound insulation is good. The design of the room is relatively new, surrounded by glass, even the ceiling lights are mirrored, the bathroom is also a mirror on all sides, to be honest, a little dizzy, and a little scary. There are a lot of snacks to buy and you will be charged automatically. If you need a refrigerator and a staff member to send it to the house, it is OK.

This was a great hotel experience for New Year's Eve weekend for the 2021 Orange Bowl as the UGA football team had this as their base hotel. The hotel went all out to decorate in Red and Black for the weekend and were very responsive. Many special-purpose rooms were available for team and family use. The hotel threw a great New Years Eve party that was rocking well into the morning even after we returned from the football game. In addition, there was live music in Bayfront Park adjacent to the hotel, so there was no lack of places to celebrate New Years. Our room was on the bayside and the views are spectacular. The room was clean and well-appointed, with sofa seating and both a large table and a separate desk near the window to enjoy the view. There are no balconies attached to the rooms. There is an outside pool that opens on the third floor from the spa and salon, with separate men's and ladies' locker rooms. We went out to the pool in the mornings on both days since at this time of year the water is cool and there is only morning sun on the pool and pool deck. In the afternoon the pool deck is fully shaded by the adjacent condo tower since the sun is low. There is some afternoon sun this time of year in a grassy areas off the pool deck where the sun is not blocked until later in the afternoon. There are many large umbrellas around the pool chaise lounges if the sun is too hot. Unfortunately, we found that the outdoor pool bar and pool restaurant lounge have been closed for some time due to the pandemic, and the curtains up in the windows block what would be a fantastic view of Biscayne Bay through all the glass. The lobby, bar, and restaurant are all updated and present a top-notch appearance. It is easy to walk to several convenience stores in the area. We would definitely recommend this to our friends if they needed a hotel in this area of town.

I booked a weekend here with my son so that we would be walking district to the basketball stadium. It was very expensive that weekend - $1200 per night due to a music fesitival. The rate hurts no matter what, but I can justify it when I have an experience that's wonderful. This was anything but. I checked with the hotel prior to leaving to see if there was someplace in the hotel where we could watch the University of Miami basketball game and was told there wasn't any place. On our last night there, I discovered that this was false, and indeed the restaurant had a bar area with tv's where the basketball games were playing. Only we'd already missed the game we wanted to watch due to this misinformation. Then, I discovered that the mini bar in the room was unplugged (and you couldn't plug it back in) due to COVID. When I explained that I'm a Type 1 diabetic and need a refrigerator for insulin and food, I was told that it would be a charge of $10 per night. When I pushed back, they offered to keep my $450 bottle of insulin and food in some room behind reception. They ultimately provided the refrigerator to me for no extra charge, but only after they talked to a manager. The next day, I realized that I did not know what was included in the resort fee. When I messaged the front desk, I was told that the pool and fitness center were the only things included, something that I would expect to be available absent a resort fee. I later discovered on the day of checkout that there was virtual golf, bowling, and many other things available, none of which I was told about (and I was still charged the fee). On checkout, I was then double charged for valet. They fixed it, and I went to get my car. But the valet wouldn't bring it because they said I hadn't paid for valet. After about 10 minutes of back and forth, they were finally satisfied that I'd paid and brought my car. I had a junior suite but could hear the noise from the adjacent room as if the people were right next to me during my entire stay. I asked housekeeping at the beginning of the day on Saturday to clean while we were out between 10 am and 4 pm. We got back to the room to find that nothing had been done. They immediately sent housekeeping up to clean while we were in the room and they talked on their phones and sang the entire time. So the mini bar has to be turned off due to COVID, but they could send in human beings not wearing masks with us in the room without violating COVID protocol. Makes a lot of sense. I also had asked for maintenance to fix the tv in the bathroom because it would not turn on and that hadn't been taken care of either. This is nowhere close to the level of JW and isn't even close to the level of a Courtyard in terms of service. I highly discourage anyone from staying here. I normally keep it to myself if my experience is less than spectacular, but this one was so bad and at such a high price that I had to write a review.

The staff is what makes this place amazing. Nora is always friendly, accommodating, and extremely helpful with my requests. She was my "recreation director" during my stay, and trill took care of me and my son while we were there. Juan, one of the managers, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable and "at home". Yeilly addressed every issue I brought to her attention. Angelo promptly fixed a jammed window shade in my room. Lisette, the other manager was always friendly and helpful. Andres and Vincent were my breakfasts hosts that I enjoyed my morning coffee with.

This was the second time our leadership team had and offsite at this location. I think in general everything was as good as it could be. I 'm not sure what was going on with the elevator systems but that caused quite a lot of unavoidable delays and frustrations for all guests this time around. The staff are super accommodating, professional and their Little Cafe / Barista makes the best Cortaditos and fresh pastries. Thank you Carlos and team.

I think this hotel has more slots Advantages: The location is very good. It is a 10-minute drive from the bayside market and a 10-minute drive to the island. The gate is a miami trolley terminal (the bus is free and there are many lines). The welcome is a hot chocolate tart, and free ice water and limited wines are available in the lobby. The waiter was warm. The restaurant 8 and 1/2 downstairs is good, the Italian girl is warm and patient. Disadvantages: Check in at 16:00, which is a little early, so wait until 4:30 to get ready. In addition, if check in is later than required, additional fees will apply. Room facilities are not new. Downstairs is a construction site, as if building a church. It has been more than a year. Workers started work at 7 o'clock on weekdays. Don't expect too much of a room with a park view. It is a street garden with a view of the sea. The other part of the hotel is the superior apartment where you can see various dogs in the lobby. Hotel parking can only be valet parking, a price every 4 hours, 30 dollars a day, and tip. Behind the small chapel is $ 10 during the day and $ 10 overnight (please call me Lei Feng). It's opposite the office building and it won't open on weekends. In addition, it is not recommended to choose a room with breakfast. If you choose, the hotel will provide a $ 10 voucher per person, which is applicable to the 6 restaurants downstairs, it is better to eat it yourself. I booked a room with breakfast, but the breakfast information was not tied to the room number, order number or the person who booked it. It is randomly bound to the person who stays. The hotel didn't find my breakfast, and Ctrip didn't find it. I saw it at check-out and gave a day of vouchers. I went to buy bread for lunch.

Very good five star hotel. Good location, surrounded by high-rise apartments and glass office buildings. If you need to drive in and out of the parking lot multiple times by car, it is recommended to use the hotel's Valet, which costs slightly more than US $ 48 a day, but unlimited access, only need to call 10 minutes before the car. If you only need to go in and out once, you can self-park. There are only a few street parkings around the hotel. The room is large and the facilities are fully functional. The toilet is separated from the wet and dry, which is very user-friendly. The pool area service is in place, you do n’t need to worry about it during the whole process, just enjoy it ~ the food is very delicious, I ordered three dishes, everything was delicious

Had a decent two night stay here in Apr 2022. My other typical hotel options (AC Doral, Dadeland) and the MIA Airport Marriott were out of my company allowable rate allowance so I decided to try the FP since I saw it looked new and Coral Gables is my favorite part of Miami with the restaurants along Miracle Mile being close to this hotel. So starting with the positives: -Friendly staff -Newish hotel, definitely one of the nicer FPs I’ve seen -Free, ample garage parking with no required valet (I like parking my own car and keeping my keys) -Comfortable bed/room/fitness center -Nice looking pool on 5th floor rooftop -Very convenient to Coral Gables, Coconut Grove and MIA Things I was less happy about and would send me back to the AC Hotels if the rate were comparable: -TV did not have YouTube capabilities like many other hotels do -Very noisy/walls are thin - when your neighbor is on the phone you hear their entire conversation- maybe this was because I had an adjoining room? -Breakfast buffet is OK but they only had paper plates and I prefer real plates and silverware Overall this is a good choice for a visitor to Miami and you’re probably better off here than at an older Courtyard (that was my other choice in my rate range and I’m glad I chose this property). But that European-style AC Hotel breakfast is calling my name so I may go back there next time :).

Prior to staying, I looked into reviews for Mandarin Oriental Miami. There were obviously great reviews, but I noticed some people stating the service isn’t up to par. I could not disagree more after staying in this hotel. The service was outstanding. Overall, my stay here was really great! Pros of Mandarin Oriental Miami: -Service was outstanding! - Location is beautiful and quiet. Quick walk away from great restaurants. - The hotels restaurant, La Mar, is amazing and a top place to eat in Miami. - Rooms are great, though slightly outdated. -Pool is nice and relaxing, right near the water. - Gym has great equipment, including Peletons. Would enjoy more equipment however. Cons: - Food is pricey for in room dining, pool bar dining, breakfast, etc. I do not mind high prices, however the quality of the food needs to match the price. It does not. Overall, would highly recommend this hotel whenever in Miami. I will definitely be staying here again.

I felt like the problem guest to end all guests! I arrived late and exhausted from several long flights with a broken bag and a broken spirit. Peter welcomed me in with a wonderful smile and shining personality. I needed to give a virtual presentation the day of my checkout and asked if I could reserve the conference room...he did me one better and gave me a later checkout so I could set up the night before (and not feel rushed). When there were issues with my room service order (I was faaaar too exhausted to go anywhere)...he took care of everything immediately when I couldn't get ahold of the restaurant. And when I had to order new luggage so I could travel home...he made it SO easy (and didn't even charge me any of those ridiculous parcel storage fees like some hotels do). The room was clean, well stocked, and spacious. The bed comfy. And even when I showed up at the very tail in of breakfast hours (again, exhausted from travel) and there was no hot food left they made me extra! The location is prime too! Two minutes walk and you're at dozens of bars, restaurants, and shopping. There's a quaint park across the street with a basketball court and playground, and the hotel pool is pretty legit. I will be back. For Sure!

We stayed second week of Feb - Thurs - Sun. We received a pre-stay email and were allocated a top floor room in Palm building (the one furthest from the pool). It was only about a 3-4 min walk to the pool. Pros Resort is well-maintained and the pool area is beautifully clean. All areas were spotless Staff were all friendly and v helpful Location is v close to the airport (also a disadvantage) Rooms were v quiet but that might be because the resort was not busy Our room was renovated - it looked like other buildings had the same decor so you may be able to get closer to the pool. Beds in the room were fabulous. The pool is large - you can easily do laps in it. The kids might find it quite dull. There are no slides or anything. There are plenty of shops - it is a 3 min drive to a Publix at Downtown Doral. We are breakfast at Crema at Downtown Doral (average modern - think metro tiles and blackboards). There is a shuttle to another set of restaurants, bars if you want to drink. You can also go to Trump National to use the pool etc. Disadvantages Location - if you want to go to downtown / South Beach, this might not be the location for you. It is a 30 min drive (using tolls) to everything we wanted to visit. Doral feels a little like living in the Truman show. The resort is under the flight path for one of the runways. During morning and evening there was a plane about 10-15 mins. I would not recommend this resort for leisurely lying by the pool - however, I don’t think there is a single Marriott MVC that is quiet as they all have pool music and incessant maintenance noise. There was some construction noise to the side of Palm building from the construction of a play ground. It looked like it was virtually complete. It did not affect our stay because we were not using the balcony. We would recommend avoiding a top floor room because their is no balcony roof and therefore there is a ‘lip’ on the balcony door which you will trip over at least once a day. Recommendation Probably best for adults who know the limitations of the location.

Come out to play alone, thank the hotel for the wonderful enjoyment provided to me. The two brothers at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and there is no problem with the service. The most important thing is the location of the hotel, which is really convenient for downtown Miami, and there are many options for ordering. Miami is not a big place. You can go anywhere you want within 20 dollars by taxi. I especially like the decoration style of the room, and the lobby is also very artistic. highly recommended. Will consider staying next time.

The location was close to the airport, and it was shocking to see the plane flying overhead. For sound insulation, there are four layers of window glass, which is basically unaffected by sleeping. This can be assured. Most of the hotel staff's mother tongue is not English, it is estimated that they came from Cuba, and some do not speak English, and communication is sometimes difficult. The most amazing thing is that the hotel guests still need to charge for parking. It costs 19 yuan a day and the parking fee for 57 days is 57. It feels similar to stopping at the airport.

advantage: Free shuttle 2. There is a small dining area and a Chinese restaurant for 5 minutes walk. Disadvantages: 1. It's still a breakfast issue in the comment area, and it hasn't been improved repeatedly. 2. Credit card deduction, a lot of deductions, and then feedback and adjustments, but later found that there is no refund, but also verify, finally refunded, trouble! 3. Although it is not far, it takes 15 minutes by car, which is far longer than the others. 4. The people at the front desk are basically expressionless. Fortunately, there is coordination of Ctrip, and the service is good. Compensated for the hotel, so Ctrip has been used. But this hotel is not recommended.

Hotel location can be, health, service, yes, facilities are old. There is a difference between the picture of Bay View and Ctrip. At the time of entering the hotel, the waiter and the front desk were welcoming and also delivered champagne. It is a twin room with a bay view. It feels bad to enter the room. It is simply a city view and the space is small. Looking for the front desk, saying that this is the bay view, no way to change, send breakfast. When the daughter met the hotel manager for dinner, she was able to solve it with her reflection. She changed the visually good bay view room, and the space was a lot bigger. It felt good and set a night.

There are a lot of snacks around the location. You can go sightseeing from the free orange line light rail. It is not far from the four lines of the airport red line light rail. The only downside is that the room windows cannot be opened, and each floor has a urine smell + The taste of the decoration was seriously exceeded, and it could not be exhausted. The seal was too strict for a night. Fortunately, I was still alive. It has seriously affected my physical and mental health. When I first stayed, the room that I gave to my room was very small and almost spit. I asked I changed the room and arranged for me to be a little bigger. It was also very big. I couldn’t help but deduct the money. I wanted to stay for two nights and had to stay for one night.

It is not a great place, and even though I had read the bad reviews, I still chose it because it was one of the only options for the budget I had. Even though I had my expectations very low, the place did not exceed them. If you ONLY need a bed to sleep in and are out during the day, it can be considered. But the following speaks against it: -old and worn out. Some of the things could easily be fixed, like a rusty shower head in the shower and some other small things that could easily be repaired or fixed -there is spider´s web in the ceiling and on the walls, this is what I call "authentic" - but it could easily be cleaned as well but has probably been there for long -wi-fi is average, hops on and off and different coverage depending on where u are in the room -close to the Biscayne Blvd which is very busy, so avoid room 101 and 102, if possible. The lady in the reception was quite serviceminded and helpful, but this place really need a massive renovation in order to become a nice place again. Only opt for it if you are on a budget, and consider paying a bit more to get something better. The location is ok with shopping and resturants along the Biscayne Blvd.

My husband and I stayed at the LifeHouse for a long weekend (Thursday - Monday). Although the hotel has a nice decor scheme, the hotel is located in a residential area, near some questionable-looking apartments and 2+ blocks to any restaurants. The location of this hotel is not ideal and at least a 20 minute walk to the main Calle Ocho area. Check in is accomplished without a person, on an ipad. A person appeared some minutes later to take our bags for storage until our room was ready and told us they would text when it was ready. We finally came back to the hotel an hour after the official check in time and had to check in a second time, never got a text. This was a theme for this hotel. You cannot call the front desk, there is no phone in the room or a front desk. We had to request anything we needed through the tv menu. Staff were quick to bring ice buckets (no refrigerator and no ice machine, have to reauest ice through the tv) but any other questions or communication via text was slow or sometimes not answered. The cozy queen room is extremely small, there was no room to open my hard side suitcase and have room to walk around the bed. There's no closet to hang clothes and there is no in room coffee. This ended up being a huge problem. The hotel has no coffee available anywhere for guests and the Terras restaurant would not give my husband coffee to go to bring to our room, not even a ceramic coffee mug. The Terras restaurant was almost never open during our stay - they are only open 8am-11am for breakfast and when we arrived at 11:10am and asked only for 2 cups of coffee, they told us the restaurant was closed and we could not have any coffee. Ridiculously bad customer service. There's no where near this hotel (closer than 2 blocks) to get take out coffee. The Terras restaurant is closed all day after breakfast until their dinner hours, but each time we wanted to visit the restaurant, it was closed for a myriad of reasons: a private party, then closed the next day due to some kind of crime which was not disclosed when we asked and about 10 police were milling around the restaurant. For the price per night for this "boutique" hotel, I would expect some level of customer service. The staff bringing ice/towels were very fast and were the only good service we experienced at this hotel.

Where do I event start with this hotel. I honestly don’t want to waste my breath with how TERRIBLE the customer service is here , for the amount of money you’re paying you would honestly expect to be treated with at least with the bere minimum of respect but NOPE. I’m actually convinced rubbish on the floor get treated better than I did. We made a formal complaint to the customer advisor ( which I was shocked she was) her name was KARINA. KARINA I would like to thank you for my making my stay so bad and making me feel like I was very worthless. Not once did you apologise when I complained about the multiple issues I had with my room , from the bathroom flooding to the walls having patches and the noisy construction outside our room. Karina, if you don’t lie working with guest maybe working in East Miami is not for you as you are doing a great job making people stay away from this hotel. I had to BEG house keeping to change my bed sheets ( not sure why I had to beg when I’m paying almost 3k to stay). Had to use google translation on multiple occasions as none of them speak English only Spanish. Oh Yh management also will lie and say they treated you really good when u try and make a complaint with your booking agency. There was only one staff member who always had a smile on his face and was so so attentive. His name was Rafael, Rafael thank you so much for your great customer service and making my stay pleasant. Maybe they should consider you in becoming the manager because you were much more professional than the management in themselves. I hope this hotel gets shut down or they fire all the management completely. It should be illegal with how they treat guest there. You’re basically paying them to treat you bad so beware and avoid at all cost. p.s I would give it -100 stars if I could.

I arrived in Miami in the early morning and it was inconvenient to take a taxi into the city. It was really convenient to book this airport hotel. It was on the second floor of the terminal and I checked in. The room is clean and simple, no noise, there are various dining options to the departure hall in the morning, and a steak restaurant is opened on the 7th floor, which is good. Very suitable for travelers arriving at midnight or departing in the early morning.

I typically stay at the EAST in Brickell, but will now be changing my preference, because of the hospitality I received from the staff at the AC Wynwood. The service from Vito at the front desk was exceptional. From the first greeting, he treated me with such kindness and respect. Every time I called the front desk, I asked for Vito. Not only because I knew I could trust him to fulfill my request, but because he is an absolute pleasure! Vito went above and beyond to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. He’s an amazing employee! As a Platinum member with Marriott, I have pretty high standards. My stay was exceptional and I wish I could give Vito an award for everything he did to help me during my stay. Also, Vivian at the rooftop was very kind, professional and efficient. Even while she was busy, she paid attention to my needs and did everything with a smile. She made me feel so welcome and well taken care of. I will gladly return to AC Wynwood Marriott.

I vistas Miami for a sales conference. The hotel rooms are maybe a step above a Motel 6. During our stay we found a roach in our room and we talked to the cleaning staff about it. When we returned our room was spotless. The cleaning staff was great. Today is where it all went wrong. My original flight was cancelled. I had to go back to the airport to return my car rental but needed to return to the hotel in the airport shuttle l. Before leaving to return the rental car I stopped at the front desk and spoke to both Angie and the shuttle driver to ask about the procedure to get the shuttle. They gave me directions to where to get the shuttle once I returned the rental. Angie instructed me to call the hotel and let them know I was ready and they would send the driver. I called the hotel at 8:00am, Angie said that the driver would be right there. At 8:30 I called back to find out where the driver was. Angie put me on hold to “check” and said that he left 5 minutes ago. Another 20 minutes the driver arrives. There was no traffic this is 8:00am on Sunday morning. When I got in the shuttle the driver says that he only makes airport runs once an hour. When I asked why I wasn’t informed of that he said that he didn’t know what Angie didn’t tell me. I reminded him that he was standing there when I asked the process and neither him nor Angie mentioned anything about the shuttle running every hour. When I got back to the hotel I spoke to Angie and I asked her why she didn’t tell me that the shuttle only ran every hour when I requested the shuttle. She said that she didn’t know that and normally he just leaves to go pick up the customers when they request a shuttle. So obviously now someone is lying. Either way this is unprofessional and unacceptable. I wasn’t even going to complain about the roach in the room or the room itself, but thanks to Angie and the shuttle driver…here’s your 1 star! Enjoy!

I’m a Hilton Diamond member and have stayed in all types of locations and room types, this hotel is really very pretty and my view is stunning:)). Got here very early and they we’re able to accommodate an early check in for my two rooms. This was great after an overnight flight. My only reason for the 4 star is due to their restaurant, I would give them a 0 star. We had breakfast off the menu, not the buffet, ordered my eggs poached and the waiter was not sure if they did that so I was totally fine with over very easy, dad got same dish. The eggs were over well, he said they can’t do poached. We never got the fruit we ordered, I asked for decaf coffee and was served tea, had to repeatedly ask for water and more coffee, slow to come... The people behind us were told they could get poached eggs, by a different waiter. So not sure what was up with that. Finally got new eggs after we were almost done with our meal. I decided to give a try for an early dinner and the staff was horrible, all chatting and on their phones, after waiting 45 minutes for our burger and shrimp tacos, they were cold. I sent back the taco my dad ate his burger because he was starving. I got my new tacos about 20 minutes after my dad started eating. And again I felt like I had to beg for water. On top of the bad food and service I’m not sure why there is an 18% automatic gratuity (added after the tax) on each check. I typically will leave 25% for good service and more for great service but I always leave 10% when the food/service is poor. Unfortunately the server and cook are rewarded for sub-par service. I would recommend staying here but avoid this onsite restaurant at all cost.
