A wonderfully villa, located outside the city, you will need a car if you want to enjoy the vacation, to explore the city or the island. Lovely renovated villa with very large and nice rooms, with a brilliant breakfast room, an amazing pool, an beautiful view, with a very nice garden with palm trees, orange trees and olive trees. You can also enjoy launch or dinner only if you notice them in the morning. Also they have a nice parking place for cars, with the necessary shadow for summer time. The staff is very polite and usefully and I want to thanks all of them for making our stay very nice. All the villa is very clean always and the cleaning staff is doing an amazing job including our room. The only minus was an aggressive old lady, I believe to be the manager or one of the owners. If it’s the manager they should fire her immediately because of her behavior to customers. If she’s an owner than she should immediately let the staff to manage the business. We had a great stay for 5 nights to this amazing villa.

Arrival and check in was swift and staff spoke excellent English. The location is reasonable - a little further out from the station than we anticipated but that was our mistake. The room was very large but disappointingly we had to ask for more towels - our double room only had one towel! Sadly we asked for towels before we went out for the afternoon and yet we had to ask again when we got back as they still hasn’t appeared. We also had no hot water for a shower. A quick visit to reception solved the issue the first evening we thought only to find we had to do exactly the same the next morning as the shower was totally cold. Breakfast was very generous in the morning. From the reviews it looks like we might have been unlucky with our visit but sadly we wouldn’t book again.

At first glance, this is a hotel which doesn't welcome travellers coming by car but you then find you can park free of charge in the immediate area. Friendly reception and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast served on the top floor but no restaurant as such. It is a 15 minute walk to the centre of town and a 30 minute stroll to the ferry for Reggio Calabria. Not too much in the vicinity of the hotel as such.

Cairoli Guest House is perfect - central to city, clean and spacious. Stayed 3 nights. Francesca is brilliant and good at welcoming guests - she even brought a friend who spoke English so we didn't miss out on any information. Prompt when she said she would meet us to let us in to the room. There were even snacks & drinks for our stay - so welcomed and not expected There was a guide book in English for the whole of Sicily and I used it as my 'bible' for planning the rest of the Sicily trip. It is a pity that other guests have abused this gift and tore pages out of the book. Bad manners on their part. I would definitely come back to stay. Can I score it 6/5 ?

We had a two-bedroom apartment, a living room, and a balcony. The living room furniture was old and mismatched -- it reminded me of a grad student's apartment, but everything was clean and functional. We considered 65 euro a night divided by two persons to be a bargain.

The hotel is clean and the staff are nice and helpful. Good location and cheap for a stop over, don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. The only issue we had was parking, on booking.com it stated there was parking, there is no parking, just park on the street. Breakfast was a croissant and coffee.

This is a review of the Vittoria House of Charm. We traveled to Messina Italy for a meeting and to visit a friend. My friend's mother, who lives in Messina, booked our room in the Vittoria house of charm. The converted villa is beautiful with antique furnitue and paintings. They have preserved the charm and grandeur of the villa. Our room in the villa was beautiful, huge, had 2 balconies and a giant bathroom. Avi met us for check in and helped with our bags. He was very accommodating and friendly. There is a morning breakfast provided too. This B&B style lodging allowed us to stay in a beautiful villa, just off the main street. There is also a small cafe nearby. Just 2 blocks away is a major shopping area with shops and cafes. Tip: Try the expresso granita. Taormina, a pretty medieval village, and the beaches of Messina are a short drive. I highly recommend the Vittoria House of Charm

We had an exellent experience while staying, Fabio was very mindful and his father was always there to help us in anything. The location is the best because it is near every important sight seing in Messina. Rooms are super spacious and very clean. But the most importan thing is that we needed to go to another town which did not have any buseç, train or taxi service to get us there so he offered to take us. When we got there he took us right to the door of the other hotel. Super recomended for anyone!

When we checked in, we couldn't believe how helpful Giuseppe was. Since the airline lost our luggage, we were traveling with only one change of clothes. Giuseppe got us laundry detergent, and a drying rack. He told us to use the phone at the desk any time we needed, and was helpful in finding great restaurants in Messina. He called the airline more than once to try to help us. The room was very nice and spacious. I was concerned because Google Maps shows the street and it didn't look very nice. I found the area surrounding the hotel in need of a little litter pick up, but it was safe and the neighborhood contained very helpful and friendly people. There is a set of steps across the street to go directly down to the ferry to the mainland. There is also a tram stop there to go to the city center, where you can buy tickets on board. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a variety of reasons, and would stay there again.

Elysium B&B has newly renovated spacious rooms and beds are of very good quality. The bathroom is very clean and towels and bedlinen first class. The host and the breakfast room personnel speak English. The place is easy to find and it´s easy to find a parking lot nearby, but be prepared to buy a parking card from the nearest tobacco shop. But why they give their room prices "breakfast included", when it´s not? You have to find later in your booking documents, that breakfast costs 5 eur per person extra. Breakfast is really worth of it, but if the name is B&B, so you expect it is included.

I stayed at Town House Messina Paradiso for 2 nights and found the house welcoming and historically enchanting. My friends and I enjoyed our stay at this gracefully aging villa built in the 1920's that has managed to preserve some of the charm and dignity of that beautiful era. Our host Enrico was very accommodating and informative about the house and the nearby sites. The location was superb, the front entrance overlooking the Straits of Messina was breathtaking and a beautiful view in the morning light. Beaches were across the road and easily accessible, the center of town was just a short bus ride away and small restaurants dotted the beach for aperitivo or a light dinner. Enrico was courteous and we felt very comfortable with him, sitting on the veranda sipping a liqueur on those warm, sultry nights. This villa is a definite return if I am ever in Messina again and I would recommend it to anyone who is in need of accommodations in this beautiful city. Anna Lauricella

Nice setting: the hotel is right in front of the seashore. It has a blacony that offers nice views of the mainland of Italy. There's also a tram stop at 20m so you can get a tram ride of about 10min to go to the centre. Room: the room is indeed 'Design', we were quite impressed by the nice lights. Staff: Very friendly during check-in, did not see anyone after that, but that didn't really bother us. Communication before checking in was great too (Whatsapp). Breakfast: Was the only thing we were a bit disappointed about and why I only gave 4/5. There was not a lot of choice and we were missing a little piece of bread. But don't understand me wrong, it was definitely not bad, I'm just the bread and cheese/jam in the morning kinda person.

We were on a family tour of 12 and we stayed here for one night and had the house for ourselves. The rooms are spacious and with the view of the harbour in front. Just a little noisy at night because our room is facing the road but overall experience is good! The rooms all come with extra beds ( so 1 queen size and 1 single bed) and the people (the family who runs it) are also all very nice! I recommend this place if you want a place to stay around Messina. The port is also very near in case you want to take a ferry to the nearby islands. We went to `Stromboli so we took the ferry from there which was 7minute ride.

I have stayed at this residence for two days because of work. The rooms are just above the average rooms of a 3 stars hotel. The water in the shower was very hot for 3 minutes and then kept running cold on both days. The breakfast is available only if you ask on the night before otherwise you end up with nothing. I gave three stars because the rooms were clean and the staff was polite.
