We booked side-by-side rooms for us and family in Rome for a college graduation. The rooms were clean and did have amenities like microwave oven, fridge, ironing board (and one of the rooms had an iron), nice big flat screen TV, plus, very importantly, comfy beds and some variety of pillows (I like a flatter one). The AC was easy to operate and not too noisy. Defects: the room phone had no cord for connecting to the wall outlet; tiny, tiny toilet & shower room (tho one could use it while another occupant used the sink and mirror). Final defect - breakfast. The hotel has a tiny, tiny space for breakfast service. The offering is two kinds of cereal, whole milk, bananas, and granola/fruit bars. Not much, and just two tiny tables to sit and eat it. BUT, the room was a bargain at $60 each and we did get adjoining rooms, helpful. Oh, and the proprietor was very friendly and helpful with directions. Also, for breakfast one can walk across the highway to a Hardees.

Stayed here for a week for a soccer camp in the area. While we did encounter some issues, the staff really was upfront, friendly and willing to help. CONS: *Out of service elevator for much of our stay, not a deal breaker we were on the second floor and try to limit our use of elevators in general. We were advised of this at check-in and were told we could cancel our reservation with no penalty (nice they gave us the option). *Limited to no wifi. I know you are thinking you are on vacation, you don't need it but sadly we did for work commitments. We were not the only patrons that experienced this problem. Apparently it was a bigger issue and the internet service provider was on site at least during our stay to remedy the problem. *Fitness center with broken fitness equipment. Yes, at least they have one on site, but it is in need of updated, working equipment. *No ice on the second floor, not a deal breaker but a pain to have to go up or down daily for ice. PROS: *Our room was clean as was the breakfast area, pool, fitness center, and laundry facility. *Staff is friendly, welcoming, and interactive. *Terri at the breakfast buffet was attentive, friendly and kept after things even at the busiest of times. *Suite had plenty of room for a week's stay. *Location was great, quiet but close to what we needed; restaurants, shopping, etc. Overall, if we return to area, would likely stay here again. Please note, after our stay, all of issues were addressed by the manager. Under new management recently. She personally reached out to us and they are really committed to making their customers stay a good experience and are working hard to do so.

The motel was nice and clean. No complaints but as checking out today I go by front desk and the guy running front desk was bent across the counter in a ziplock with another guy. They never stopped. Then my husband and his coworker walked in and they was kissing again. Then as I went to get cart the guy behind front desk was holding both hands with the other guy and then came back and they was hugging over the counter. This is not professional at all. They both should have rented a room instead of one suppose to be working. I didnt appreciate it at all!

It was a decent stay. They got new furniture. The bed was soft but the room had a smell to it. The bathroom was fine. The electronic pugs that was used for TV, frig, and mIcrowave keep acting up. We had to reset it. We only had 140 for two night so we didn’t complain but reported when we checked out. Everyone else was 180 per night and I wasn’t going to pay that amount. It was clean and comfortable not extras. Breakfast wasn’t want I get so huddle house was next door with 5 menu.

I ended up staying here after reading about a review from a fellow nurse that stayed here for a travel assignment. It was everything she said. My house sold before I was prepared to move on to my new job. So I stayed at Red Roof Inn for about 5 weeks. Mita is fabulous. She made sure that I was taken care of. She even handled an issue that was going on outside of my door from someone that was being too loud. She had them removed promptly. I do like that I had my own entrance. My furbabies were also very welcome. I always felt safe here. There are cameras everywhere. Also the girls that were cleaning were always smiling and friendly. Every morning they would ask me if I needed anything thing..towels..sheets...toilet paper. They never entered my room for cleaning per my request, but would have if I needed them to. (Was just less stressful for my furbabies) Thank you to Mita and the gang for taking care of me. They also have a breakfast bar (I never utilized this so not really able to comment on it ) The pool always appeared clean..and there is a washer and dryer on site. I definately recommend Red Roof Inn..for short...or long term stays. Stayed there from June 27th to July 31, 2019.

The staff of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is what is to be expected from a Holiday Inn and the rooms are clean and updated. I have traveled to this hotel for the last several years for a few weeks a year and never had many issues. During my recent stay I was not a big fan of my current room location, room 120, as the light outside of the hotel cannot be blocked out by the curtains. After spending 10 minutes adjusting the blinds I just accepted the 24 hour daylight strip of light shining into the room. For me this caused some sleep related issues as I prefer to sleep without a nightlight. The internet speed was extremely slow for streaming. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with the internet speed as dial-up might be faster. If you do stay at the hotel and need a laugh take a look at the fire alarm next to the check-in counter for the most secure password on the planet post visible on the wall for everyone to view. This does bring up some concerns for security; however, I never have had any issues in my multiple stays at the hotel.

My wife & I needed a place to rest up for the night, so we decided to stay here. We were kinda hesitant because we generally stay at the Mariott. However, I'm so glad we chose this hotel. Chelsea & the other young lady at the desk were AMAZING! Chelsea went above & beyond to assist us. We were exhausted from the long drive in, she offered to bring our luggage up to the room, & grabbed us some fruit from kitchen (we just wanted a late night snack) . We will definitely return.

This place has GREAT service and Friendly staff. The breakfast needs a lil tweaking. but still has some great food. We didnt particularly like the strong incense smell coming in, but ONce you're there for awhile you don't notice it. The air conditioner for our room smelled like mildew , I kept it turned off unless it just got so hot I couldnt stand it no more. So didnt use it much, and room was better.

We stayed there for 2 days, 1 day at the beginning of our trip 1 day at the end. Our first room had mold in the ceiling of the shower, stains on the carpet, ratty linens, scratches all over the wall by the desk, a smoke detector covered with a plastic bag, obviously a smoker had previously been in our non smoking room! And when my husband went to shower, nothing but cold water! He did mention it to staff and they took $7 off the bill! The second day, we stayed in a different room on first floor. The elevator was out for over two days, not that we needed it, but don’t think they were in a hurry to fix it. My husband went into the bathroom when we arrived, he asked me if I had been in there previously, I had, he asked me if my hand was bleeding, no it wasn’t, why? There was a towel on the rack, with blood on it! Ugh! Again, scratches all over the wall by the desk, no hairdryer, luckily, I always pack one. When I looked out the room window in the morning, there were used rubber gloves all over the ground outside. Not sure if there was an incident behind the motel, or if they just throw trash out behind it! The breakfast was nothing to rave about! Reheated products from Sams or Costco! I’ve had much better at McDonald’s! We will not be returning!
