This hotel is tucked away just off the main street where all the action is. the rooms are Quality and the breakfast food is lovely and lots of it, shame there isn't a restaurant attached but there is a great pub eatery just 25yds away on the corner as you turn into the main street I would recommend for late-night food and drinks. (not far to go home)The hotel staff are very good and accommodating with information on the area or anything else you need. its a shame there is no reception staff on after 6 pm but assistance, if needed, is only a phone call away (if you lose your own entry keys.) can't recommend enough a great place to stay.

Location - Very close to the centre of Zakopane yet quiet and peaceful at night. Perfect. Staff - Very friendly and helpful Room - The room we had was a bit smaller than we expected and although the hotel is quite charming, the room we had was quite dated, didn't have air conditioning and didn't feel all that clean. Swimming pool - A bit smaller than it looks in the photos, but excellent all the same. Breakfast - Decent continental breakfast with plenty of choice and fresh food. All in all a decent budget option if you don't plan on being in your room too much and really just want somewhere to lay down your head

Perhaps I would opt for giving this hotel a 3.5 rather than a 4 however in my time in Zakopane I came to realize that most of the same level hotels have more or less the same standard. Zakopane is beautiful so you should not spent so much time inside. This hotel is more like a block of rooms managed by the nearby Carlton hotel. In fact breakfast is served in the latter. My most negative comment is about the lack of lift since we had a room in the top floor and you really start feeling the steps after a good meal or when taking up luggage. I would advise to either book a lower floor room or else find another hotel with lift. It was in July where temperature where really hot and the room did not have any conditioner or ventilator however at night with windows open one could sleep really well. The location of this hotel is great since it is by a park and very close to the main street where loads of restaurants are available. The room was kept somewhat clean. Ok for 3 days but not for more. Breakfast is good , just enough to have you going for the day . Reception was extremely helpful at all times with given directions and assistance whenever we needed so overall there are some shortcomings but none impacted negatively our stay in Zakopane.

A very warm welcome to a very, very warm hotel. The staff were superb and reception staff organised anything we wanted like taxis and help with excursions. The rooms, although dated (as was the decor in the rest of the hotel) were bright and comfortable. Accessibility is an issue if up a couple of floors as there is no lift. The beds were OK. New pillows and modern bedding would be a great improvement. Not many sockets in the rooms. There was a hairdryer There is no safe in the room We had a balcony and doors so could open when it was too hot in the room. Breakfast was very adequate. There is no kettle in the room however, coffee is available in the dining room day and evening at no charge. It was a lot more money than I'd consider paying, for a dated place to stay, but we were there for new years and the location was easy for the centre. The staff dedication and excellent multilingual communication, was worth every pound.

We had the four day (minimum stay for package) Christmas package for our family of 5 adults. It included breakfast and dinner, and represented good value; the food was lovely and there was a special Christmas Eve dinner and a special regional meal with highlander band on the last night. On arrival we received a gift hamper with wine, chocolate and local condiments, as well as a voucher for the spa. The hotel was full with mostly Polish families gathering for Christmas celebrations. We found the staff friendly and helpful, rooms clean, food plentiful and tasty. Location was good, pleasant walk to Main Street and a park and ice skating rink next door. Zakopane was very busy as expected, all planned external activities (eg sleigh rides, snowmobiling) need to be booked well in advance. We found it a little difficult to find out exactly what special hotel Christmas activities were included in the package prior to our arrival, it ended up being decoration making (cookies and wooden ornaments) and glass painting on another day(did not make this one). It was fun watching the kids and families participate, and we got some nice mementoes of our holiday. We had a room on side overlooking the garden( covered in snow), beautiful. There were a few dogs staying in the hotel with their human families, no problems seen. All in all a lovely stay.

We stayed at Willa Motylek, evidently one of several properties in Apartamenty ApartArt. Our accommodation was an end unit on two levels. On the first level was a small but well equipped kitchen/dining area. Above is a sitting room and loft bedroom with a double bed and a single. Very nice and updated bathroom. The two levels are connected by a steep winding staircase which, due to the pitch of the ceiling and narrowness of the stair treads, did not really afford the room to make the journey without significant physical contortion! Main sleeping area was similar - getting into the double bed area was something like creeping into an MRI machine. Having said this, I must admit that apartment was very clean and well appointed overall. I am assuming that there are apartment units in the central areas of the building which are all on one level and more easy to negotiate. One serious complaint has to do with the late check-in of 3pm. This is pretty late and one could live with that but we had no access to a place to wait out this time. Our driver, who had to leave, hoisted our bags over the fence (gate was locked) and tried to stow them away on the front porch. Meanwhile we were obliged to sit on a park bench outside the compound on a sidewalk. Weather was nice but had it been raining or cold this might not have ended very happily. The management can have their late check in but they really must come up with a place to accommodate arriving guests until rooms are ready! Another issue - breakfast is not served until 9am. This is really very late for folks wanting to get out and hike (or ski in wintertime) or depart earlier for their next destination. We did appreciate the efforts of the reception lady to buy us some items so we could prepare our own breakfast in the unit's kitchen on each of our two mornings there.

Stayed at the 5th floor. Spacious room with multiple amenities (hair dryer, cosmetics, coffee maker and kettle, great selection of coffees and teas) and most importantly a balcony with gorgeous view! The hotel is located approximately 10 mins walk away from Krupówki and bus/train station, on a quiet side street. Breakfast is served from 7:30 am which might be too late for those leaving for a hike, but the hotel has an option to order an earlier to-go breakfast. Good selection of fruit/warm breakfast options, a small corner with local products. Options served can get a bit monotonous after a while. Spa zone (saunas, hot tub, swimming pool) satisfactory, but can get crowded easily. Great saunas zone with a cold water tub in the middle. Prepare for kids splashing water in your face in the "main" pool despite kids pool being available right next to it. I'd recommend going early in the morning or right before closing to unwind after a long day. In general, several things could be improved - for example the pillows (too small and very soft), water temperature at the spa... for a 5* hotel, I'd expect the spa zone to include water for guests.

Hard to rate this hotel as only stayed one night with a group as part of a cycle holiday. The location is great, 5 minute walk to the lovely down. We were lucky enough to get a room on the 3rd floor with fantastic mountain views. The room was quite large, bathroom tiny, had a balcony which was lovely. Would have been nice it they had put a table & chairs out there. Was hard to get on the wifi, but when we managed it worked well. Lots of different networks to pick up depending on where you are in hotel. Breakfast not great, instant coffee and not much choice. As we were cycling I would have liked a banana but only fresh fruit available were apples. As we stayed as part of a cycle holiday this hotel was included in our package. I then looked up prices and average price to stay one night for two people was around £45 to £50. Which I think is good value. Saying that I have not looked at prices for other hotels in the area. They were meant to have a bar in hotel, but never ever saw it open! When we arrived I did pop down to reception and ask for map. They were struggling to find one. After 5 mins they found one & marked hotel etc. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

I visited here with my significant other for a three night stay. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and thankfully there’s a 24hr reception and on site parking that is chargeable per day (40zl (£8)) but added to your room bill. As a guest, it’s a shame it’s not free. The hotel itself is stunning in the inside. Very clean, modern, a lovely, large bed that was very comfy and WiFi in the rooms as well as a small minibar with water, soft drinks, alcohol and some snacks (all chargeable). There is tea/coffee facility in the room, however, being English, I enjoy milk in both my tea and coffee yet this was missing. My partner called reception to request some and was diverted to the restaurant. Whoever she spoke to sounded like it was too much effort for them and informed us that there would also be a service charge of 25zl (£5), needless to say, we didn’t bother!! We had breakfast included and we were very pleasantly surprised at the vast choice of food available. Cooked breakfast, waffles, pastries, cereals, fruits, yoghurts, meats, cheeses, salads, pretty much anything you could ask for & very very tasty too. One evening, after walking in the mountains, we couldn’t be bothered to walk anywhere else as we were knackered and already ready for bed, so decided to order some room service, just a pot of tea, milk and cheesecake. We were aware of the service charge for this. Again though the staff were very abrupt and sounded pissed off that they had to do this. My partner asked how long it would be and was answered with a rude, “When it’s ready”. We finally got it after an hour, but did look and taste very nice. The hotel is located only a 10 min walk to the main town and there are plenty of places to eat and drink, nearby. It’s also well placed for local mountains and skiing. If you want to venture into the local town for something to eat, I’d highly recommend The Sphinx. Excellent food with good portions and very affordable; excellent staff too. It was so good, we went there for 2 consecutive nights. To surmise, the hotel is gorgeous and the food lovely. It’s just a shame it’s let down by some of the staff.

At the moment the Hotel is being remodelled this however, did not affect us in any way. The check in/check out was smooth, quick and friendly. The room we were given was in an adjacent 'Pension' house. The room was warm, clean, comfortable beds, TV and clean bathroom with plenty of space for clothes, etc. We had included breakfast as part of our booking - the breakfast was excellent with a range of hot/cold foods such as cheeses, meats, breads, cereal and scrambled eggs with juices, coffee & teas. There was pool/snooker and other facilities such as a garden play area for kids. The location was perfect - away from the main, busy street but still only 5 minutes away walking time. We have stayed in the Pensjonat Halny before and intend to again the next time we travel to Zakopane.

We stayed as part of a wedding and were blown away with it. The spa was excellent - 3 different jacuzzis is a great touch. The shallow part of the pool had jets too (once we found the on button). The breakfast had endless choice - though we did spot leftovers from the wedding buffet which was amusing. The lunch was very tasty - the bouillabaisse is highly recommended! The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. We liked that there were lights inside the cupboards and good number of mirrors too. A couple of notes to management, please repair the curtains in room 205 as we kept having to put them back on their runners which was frustrating; and also the rooms were boiling hot during the day but when we returned at night the cleaner had left the window open and it was freezing, please could you instruct housekeeping that if they open the window could they shut it a an hour or so later or don't open it in the first place and for the guests to decide.

the current trip adviser pictures do not do the hotel wersal justice. the hotel is now part of the bachleda resort next door. The outside of the hotel had been upgraded and also the reception area and restaurant have also had a face lift. The rooms are still the same but were completely fine for our 5 night stay. the room was large and so was the bed and the bathroom was clean. The staff were really helpful especially adam on reception who ironed out an issue that arose on arrival with the minimum of fuss. we stayed bed and breakfast and i have to say the breakfast was terrific with lots of choice in lovely surroundings. there are also spa facilities available at the bachleda resort which wersal customers can use. the hotel and resort are connected by a corridor so no messing around. robes are provided which is a nice touch. the spa is brand new and is high quality with a plunge pool , sauna , Jacuzzi and steam room and after a day skiing is most welcome. if im being completely honest there was one small issue.... the information on the website needs updating regarding the provision of transport to and from the ski slopes but this was only a small thing as adam on reception sorted it with no fuss. all in all an excellent stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in zakopane.

The external and internal architecture of the building and its location is perfectly integrated into the natural mountain environment. The managers of this hotel must pay special attention to the situations that we experienced during our stay, which should not happen in a five-star hotel. The existing situations lower the range of this hotel, which does not meet the five-star hotel criteria. On arrival, Feb 2, 2020, I made a complaint because of the ragged towel lying on the bathroom shelf with rust stains in the middle, which was intended for me at yours' five-star hotel. Another complaint was filed because the cleaning staff took my magnetic card (room key) from a reading device located in the room at the front door. As a result of this event I asked to deactivate the magnetic card (room key) and issue two new ones. We experienced very unpleasant dispositions in the facial expressions and manners from an employee / lifeguard (of average body size, height about 160 cm, with black hair on the head, at the age of about 45) at the pool, among others on Feb 6, 2020 at around 8 pm. A very strange practice at your hotel is not to change bed linen daily or every other day. During the stay from Feb 2, 2020 (arrival day) to Feb 8 (departure day), the bed linen was changed only three times and it was expressly on my request. The customer has limited access to coffee and tea , because only 2 sachets of each were available in the room. We had no choice of tea and / or coffee type.
