Hotels Near Misadag In Haifa Review

Haifa
|2.91km from city centerI write long reviews, but i hope this review will be helpful and informative. I chose the port inn because of the location, i am in the travel business i deal with hotels and hostels as a living. 1) location. literally five minutes away from Haifa Central Shmona Train Station and the passenger terminal from the port. It sits just off the main road, to pick up a bus. Its ten minutes away, walking from the bottom of the Bahai Gardens and German Colony. Its a real hostel. As hostels here in the country improve ambience, organization, and style. Becoming more like motels rather than quirky enjoyable hostels. This one is still a real hostel with the eclectic collection of decor with a mainline stream of haifa's unique character as a city. A breakfast in the morning. A small but good functioning kitchen. A tv longe room. A garden patio. A next door, parking lot (not free) and a next door laundromat. The toilets and showers are small but clean and perfect to either start or end your day with a hot shower. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are clean. But now lets talk about the magic. And that is owed to the staff. I arrived a little late for checkin. Its a small staff therefore, the hostels front desk closes at 22:45 (10:45pm). And i missed that time. But i ran into one the managers (i think), Zeev, who saved the day by getting me in. He said that for the comfort of his other guests is why he closes at 22:45. And i respect that. But he still got me in, so i could work the next morning. I returned back that evening in which i met another staff person, Marina. She helped me change my rooms form the emergency of the previous night. She helped me in the friendliest and professional manner. After i asked if the temperature in the room could be cooler. And she did. But then she kindly relocated me to a room that was empty and had better natural ventilation with the room's balcony and windows. And it was best that anyone staying in a hostel could ask for. The staff went of their way to store my luggage, get me in late at night, and relocated me to a dorm room that practically was a private room. The next day i asked Marina's advice about a place for dinner nearby (there is so much to choose from) and thanks to her had a great dinner with my favorite israeli beer at Mayaan HaBira. I will come back more often. You cant beat the prices, the location, cleanliness, and most of all the service from the staff who went beyond what was required from them. I strongly recommend the Port Inn when visiting Haifa.

Haifa
|1.83km from city centerThe hotel is overall great and should be the best hotel in Haifa. Breakfast is very rich, there is a charge for the parking lot downstairs, the room has a balcony, facing the harbour, below is the sky garden. It was a lot of hours for us to wait for more than an hour in the afternoon. This is very uncomfortable.

Haifa
|1.58km from city centerThe hotel is well located, about 200 meters walk to the top of the sky garden. All rooms can overlook Haifa Bay at night, and the windows are large, but the hotel room facilities are slightly simple. The front desk attitude is relatively cold. There is a small parking lot (more than 10 parking spaces) in front of the hotel, free of charge. We arrived in January, the parking spaces are empty and there are many parking spaces near the hotel. The bus can reach the top of the sky garden, not far from the hotel.

Haifa
|2.24km from city centerA hotel for people looking for a homely and family atmosphere. Hotel from 1930, very friendly staff. Was given a choice of room upon check in. The room was clean. The room has towels and shampoo. Hairdryer and iron were given to us at the reception. The hotel sells good coffee for 10 shekels. The location is very good, especially if you decide to travel to the north of Israel from Haifa. Price quality is amazing for Israel. The hotel does not have an elevator but it was not a problem for us. We chose a room in the historic part of the hotel to soak up the atmosphere of antiquity.

Haifa
|2.83km from city centerFriendly and helpful staff helped make this a pleasant stay. The location is in a nice walkable area with a bus stop right outside of the hotel. The bargan rate hotel is next to one of the best value restaurants in the area. The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning worked well. Our room was up one and a half flights of stairs so not good for handicap people or anyone who has heavy luggage. We did not find out about the room with tea and coffee until the end of our stay. The port is nearby. We took a taxi from the train station but it is close enough to walk. Check our google maps.

Haifa
|3.3km from city centerI was met by helpful and friendly security. The hostess guided my to my apartment on the 10th floor with a view of the ocean and nightly volleyball matches below. Washing machine and full bath. Separate living room and bedroom with flatscreens in both. Kitchen….refrigerator/ elements for stovetop cooking. Great for quiet time or down to very clean beach with nice people. I learned how to get to Grand Canyon Mall and other shopping malls and to make connections between Haifa, Accra…Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. I felt very much at peace and on vacation. Thank you! (Don’t forget that there is a grocery store on the Almog/Leonardo complex open until midnight…they also have beer and wine…fresh vegetables… meats…breads..fruits and items to stock kitchen including spices.) For real!

Haifa
|2.63km from city centerThis hotel is so beautiful , in such a great location, so luxurious, so well run, has such an outstanding breakfast, with such attention to every detail…I almost didn’t want to write this review and keep this AMAZING place all to myself!! Recently opened, this wonderful hotel will, I am sure soon be booked to capacity. We were lucky to have stayed there when we did on Jan 17,18 & 19 2023. The staff couldn’t have been more kind and solicitous, beginning with Yoni, Ruth Naomi, Khalid and the wonderful concierge who when he found out where we were going for dinner told the restaurant to cover our drinks!! The breakfasts are literally a feast for a king, the desserts are made in house and are AMAZING.. The decor and the Spa and the attention to detail in every room, made our stay in Haifa a truly luxurious experience. Finally being across the heavenly Baha’i Center was a priceless treat day and night!! Toda, Toda!!

Haifa
|1.41km from city centerThe wealthy area on the top of the mountain is uniquely located, and there is nothing to be around. The Bay View Room is very satisfactory. The price is very good, the attitude of the hotel staff is also good! The breakfast was very good, I liked their aunty, and the salad was delicious. I will stay in Haifa later. The only trouble is that Ctrip has already paid online, but said that it has not received the payment. After that, Ctrip contacted Booking and said that it was the reason for the recipient. I hope that I will not be deducted twice, and I am annoyed. Since this is not the case, I am not as good as BOOKING.

Haifa
|3.3km from city centerI stayed at the Leonardo for what turned out to be a very long work trip (5 weeks!) The view of the sea could not be beat, and my room was spacious and comfortable. Miri is an angel upon Earth and made the hotel feel like home away from home. She kept me fully stocked with plenty of water & chocolate, and even had a desk sent to my room so that I could work more comfortably. The breakfast and food in the business center were both great. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, even when we had communication struggles due to my non-existent Hebrew. I will definitely be staying there again for future work trips.

Grate location there is supermarkets nearby, cheap food market , shops, bakery, beauty salon, bus station, pharmacy and more... Within walking distance of 4 minutes you can reach THE GERMAN COLONY ( it's a stunning avenue full with authentic oriental restaurants). The host was very friendly and helpful, always available for any question and help I really enjoyed the hospitality, highly recommend.

|2.65km from city centerWe spent two nights here last week and they were some of the nicest nights we spent in Israel. Marie runs the cleanest most welcoming guest house. The location is great with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Free parking within a block was always available. Best of all, the entrance to the gardens are right outside your door. So much space for such a reasonable price. Next visit to Israel, we will spend more time in Haifa as long as we can stay at Santa Maria Guest House.

Haifa
|4.4km from city centerRooms were exceptionally clean and all the amenities functioning well. Breakfast was sufficient and of good quality products. There was ample free parking by the side of the road when we were there, so that was very convenient, as we were able to park right outside the hotel's entrance. The residential area where the hotel is situated is a good and clean neighbourhood. Staff were very efficient and responsive. Self check-in instructions were very clear (as we arrived late at night).

Haifa
|3.26km from city centerGreat location in German Colony with cool architecture and great restaurants within in two minutes walk. Parking on the street is free and easy. The hostel is well maintained, clean, and everything works. The people are great! Donny is a great host who makes sure you have everything you need, and has lots of tips about what to do in Haifa and the surrounding area. The vibe is very friendly and chill. People of all ages are welcome, from students to families. People eat pancakes together in the morning and hang out on the rooftop having a beer and playing guitar at night. It's right size where people are friendly to each other and get to know each other, but you can do your own thing if you want. Definitely recommend!

Haifa
|3.07km from city centerI typically don’t leave reviews but we were so disappointed and I wish I knew this before booking…. We booked since the reviews were so high and I’m not sure how that is. We booked the suite so we can spoil ourselves (granted we have only a few nights w/o kids). For the price of the room: 1- it was pretty bear although that was not a big deal in my books (there is another hotel we booked down Ben Gurion I won’t mention for integrity reasons that generally was much cooler aesthetics and amenities wise). Bathrooms were tiiiiiny! 2- the toilet was dirty when we arrived! I cleaned it with disinfecting wipes and it had urine drops all over! I really can’t describe how gross that was. I would have still not complained to the front desk, cleaner was lazy, happens? 3- last straw was that the vent right above the bed where you sleep was full of mold! So essentially, operating the AC in any way would blow mold onto our faces while sleeping! The room was not cheap it was wayyy too high (by 200 at least) for what you get and we stayed at two additional hotels at the same price, whole different level of quality completely! The hotel manager Hila, offered a spa for free. This is NOT a spa hotel in any way and we had 0 time to do spa. We asked for a partial refund at least as it was too late to find a different hotel. Hila gave us 10% back on the FIRST night only which is beyond a joke! It literally felt like she is giving us the middle finger! Seriously?! I steered away friends from a booking here, you can find WAY better options then here just a block away!

Haifa
|3.27km from city centerThe Golden Crown Hotel is located in the German Quarter, very close to the port and the Bahá'í Gardens. The location is very good. Hotel facilities are also ok. It didn't feel good about the hotel's service: when we arrived, we had a special request for a slightly larger room with two children; the hotel waiter took me to visit two rooms that were not bad; but the key to stay. It was a completely different room, the size was small, the window was still facing a wall, and there was a big cockroach afterwards; we had to ask for a room change, and the waiter cleaned up a room of the same price. (This room has a larger window area), but the front desk doesn't know why, we have to wait until late to give us the keys. On this day's toss, Xiaobao started a high fever at night. Of course, the hotel also has several very kind service staff, but overall the attitude of the hotel staff is relatively indifferent. The hotel offers breakfast, which is quite rich; but lunch and dinner need to be eaten at the surrounding restaurants. Xiaobao has had nothing to eat during his illness.

|2.92km from city centerThe breakfast was good, the location of the hotel was very good, just on the German street below the garden, the whole German street was eaten and drank, and there was a small convenience store opposite the hotel. We booked a deluxe room, the room on the 2nd floor is slightly smaller than the domestic one, the bathroom is not small, the hot water is quite big. There is a kettle. The height of the floor is quite high. The window of the room can see the golden dome of the garden. There is a terrace on the top of the building to get up early to watch the sunrise.

|2.22km from city centerApartment hotel, the building has no signboard, the waiter calls himself a lawyer. At the beginning, I asked them to call him how to get the key. When I called, I couldn't talk about it together? Do I have to call more? When I needed money to continue my stay the next day, he called me and laughed to death. The so-called sea view is just a photo.

|2.36km from city centerThe room is average, there is only one cup, and there is no free bottled water; it is too simple to be simple and clean. Clean, but there is a disco below at least until 11:30 in the evening! The location is okay, there is a shopping mall nearby, but overall it is not as good as the Leonardo Hotel by the sea... Breakfast is too simple to be simple, basically I am sorry for the price of more than 4000 for three days!
