Have stayed in lots of other Premier Inns before and had lovely experiences. This one was ok but the parking left us feeling a little disappointed. First night we stayed there was enough free parking for the amount of guests and everything was great. We went out for the day as you do and when we came back we found 4 road workers lorries parked sideways across and taking up at least 14 spaces in total. There were work vans parked in the disabled bays, in the passenger drop off bays, you name it, there was a works can parked in it. When we queried what we were supposed to do we got told just use the on street parking down the road as it's free between 6pm and 9am. We said about the vans parking is out of order and they said ”Well unless they are guests and have registered their vehicles there is nothing we can do!” So there went our nice relaxing morning, taking our time to pack up and leave to drive the 6 hours back home because we had to be out and away by 9am or face charges!

Beautiful Victorian house with comfortable rooms and luxurious modern bathrooms. The room had charming decorations and a comfortable bed, and even included a floor-standing fan, which was a huge relief when the day we stayed turned out to be unusually warm. The owners were nice, friendly people. The location is great, just a little up the hill from the train station, ferry terminal, and city center of Oban, on a quiet residential street. Be warned that the rooms are all upstairs, so you will need to carry your luggage up. On the plus side, there is a cozy guest lounge upstairs with a great view over the bay.

The hosts were so friendly and accommodating! They accomodate to your specific needs which is a really nice touch. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The accomodation was beautiful and our room was amazing. Clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The complementary prosecco was also a lovely gesture. From the moment we arrived on a wet and windy afternoon we were transported to total relaxation & amazing hospitality. We arrived hungry so had tea & sandwiches in the lounge beside a roaring log fire. Sandwiches were absolutely delicious (we chose prawn & blt). After dragging ourselves away from the log fire, we went upstairs to our bedroom which was lovely. Very nicely decorated with all the amenities you would expect. Penhaligon toiletries were a luxury treat. Dinner & Breakfast were tasty & sitting in the conservatory for a pre dinner drink was cosy (lovely wool blankets in a basket if you want a bit of extra heat) but the stars of the weekend for us were definitely the staff. They were exceptional. Very professional & efficient while still maintaining a friendliness. We were given a map of the island by staff & had a great walk looking for eagles, deer etc. (Wellingtons available at reception) We walked to otter point & were lucky enough to see otters playing in the water. Other wildlife stayed hidden. We had been to Isle of Eriska a few years ago & although lovely, we felt it looked a bit tired and in need of some decorating. It now looks superb. The new owners have clearly invested lots of money refurbishing the hotel and it definitely shows. Not at all surprised celebrities escape to this lovely hotel/island. Thank You Isle of Eriska for a lovely weekend. We will be back.

Our host and hostess offered us superb Scottish hospitality with their welcoming friendly and helpful manner. We rested in our clean room and comfortable bed after a long scenic drive from Fort William. It had easy parking and convenient location. We walked to the View in Oban for a Ceilidh Night (Scottish music and folk dancing). It was a fantastic evening for my granddaughter and me. An excellent, delicious, healthy breakfast was served and included in the price which was very reasonable. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for a stopover on a motorcycle trip. 2 x single occupancy rooms and a double. All rooms were very well presented and equipped. The name bunkhouse doesn’t fit as we were pleasantly surprised with the rooms and the communal facilities. The owner was very friendly and helpful giving us a tour of the facilities. Ideal base for the Highlands or for a single night stopover. I would definitely stay here again.

A little bit from the train station, so it is quieter. Looking at the sea, sitting in the hotel to see the sea, blue sky and white clouds, very beautiful. The breakfast was good, and the smoked salmon was more delicious than the traditional English breakfast at other hotels. After breakfast, I walked by the beach and saw the rainbow. I walked all the way and saw the rainbow changing. It was a surprise. Going to Scotland, recommending to Auburn, to Auburn, recommend this hotel.

We were booked here thru Rabbie´s and it was a very pleasant stay. Friendly and cheerful welcome by Morven who gave us a twin room en suite in the next house with garden view. Since we were on a tour with Rabbie´s we had a first very early departure to catch the ferry to Isle of Mull. Morven gave us a breakfast bag to go and what a breakfast bag! It was PERFECT!! We got back late after a long day on the road. The twin room was very well planned, really nice beds and the bathroom with a BIG bathtub was supernice. The second day breakfast was cooked to perfection and many great choices. The guesthouse is only a few minutes walk to Aldi, Lidl AND Tesco to buy some snacks and drinks needed to fill up for a second day on tour.
