0.8km from MlejnWe visited Prague with friends for the first time and we stayed at this hotel. It's clean and the rooms are a decent size, bathroom is a bit small but is modern and clean. Beds very comfortable. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was continental/European so don't expect a fry up. Choice was good with cereal, hams, cheese, fruits, yoghurt etc. Coffee from a machine so it's ok but not great if you are a coffee lover! There's no tea/coffee facilities in the room and no fridge. There's a safe in the room which is free to use. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels on the second day. Location is in a quiet suburban area so no noisy stag or hen parties! Easy to get to from the airport: bus 119, get off at the last stop. Get on the metro line A for 2 stops getting off at Nemocnice Motol, then get bus 174, get off after 5 stops . The hotel is across the road from the bus stop, straight down and turn right, hotel is in front of you. Buses, metro and trams very reliable way for getting around. We bought our tickets at the airport when we arrived, make sure that you validate your ticket as soon as you get on the bus or metro.

2.03km from MlejnMyself and my partner stayed in Prague for 3days/2nights. We stayed in this hotel and loved it. We booked one of the bigger rooms, the Deluxe room Vesuv. This included access to the spa area downstairs, which had: free use of lockers, sauna, steam room, hot tub, hot beds and a relaxation area. It was quite small, but a perfect additional which wasnt very busy. You could also order food and drinks at the touch of a bell, which gets bought round for you and added to your room bill to pay later on. It was a lovely addition which we enjoyed on an evening after a long day of walking. We also had access to the gym, which we didn't use, but the equipment looked great. The room itself was a great size ... decent bathroom, separate reception room with sofa and desk, and a huge bedroom! Bed was 2 queens pushed together, would have been better to just have one or two bigger beds, but the beds were comfortable. Complementary tea and coffee, as expected, and use of a safe, which was easy to use. Mini-bar in the room with drinks and snacks, which you have to pay for, but reasonable price. Lovely view too! The hotel surroundings were lovely and everything was clean and tidy. The restaurant was really good. We had breakfast included; breakfast was average, quite a good choice and options but food not quite like home. Evening meals in the restaurant, that we paid for, was absolutely fantastic! We ate in the hotel both nights and were not disappointed. Ordered some cocktails too which were amazing! Food and drinks were reasonable prices too! Would definitely recommend the sirloin steak! Best steak I've ever eaten ... and I've had steak in many countries. Staff are extremely polite, welcoming and helpful! 5stars for staff! This hotel seems like it's far our, but its between 10-20mins in a taxi for places we wanted to go, such as; the xmas market, town centre, shooting range, crazy golf, the zoo and the airport. So all in all the location was great. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to jump in a taxi with cheap prices. I would recommend using the app 'Bolt' for a taxi, its basically 'Uber' that we have at home. You can select the type of ride you want, which come at different prices depending on the comfort you want. We always went with the cheapest, which was perfect for us. It tells you how much it's going to be as soon as you select it so that's helpful. They take cash only. For a 20min drive we were looking around £8 sterling which is very cheap.
2.41km from MlejnMy mum and I stayed here for a couple of nights in June and we both really enjoyed it. Compared to some other hotels I have stayed in, with value for money this is one of the good ones. We chose to have the breakfast buffet included in our stay. For most people it may seem basic, however, if you love the continental breakfast there’s enough choice available. The rooms were clean and tidy and also came with a fan, TV, hair dryer and coffee maker. The location was on the outskirts of Prague, so definitely not walking distance to the city centre, however there’s so much choice with trams and buses it only takes around 20 minutes to get to the top sights. For some it may seem too far but I quite liked it being a bit further away from all the hustle and bustle. The tram stop is literally only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. If you like something a little quieter then I would recommend this place!

2.83km from MlejnThe hotel is great! the only location is far from the center and silence, but trams run to the center almost every minute and at night, to Wenceslas Square for 20 minutes without problems, the stop is right next to the hotel. Cleanliness is just perfect, cleaned every day, everything is snow-white and shiny. The hotel building is old, but after renovation and everything is at the highest level, the interior is beautiful and new. Breakfast is great. We had an improved breakfast room, but on the second day a pipe broke in the room and we were immediately transferred to a family suite, even better, they apologized, they gave us a bottle of champagne and dinner at the hotel’s expense. Well done! If such a hotel was closer to the center of Prague, it would be several times more expensive. For the money, just the perfect hotel. I want to thank the staff and the hotel management for the provided comfort and cleanliness, the main thing is to maintain such a bar. We hope to come back here)
2.89km from MlejnExcellent room on ground floor (room no. 310). Lovely firm mattress on king size bed with great pillows ( I always need a good night's sleep) Weather was rather cold in March but the heating was lovely and hot. Kettle, coffee, tea etc in room but only powdered milk in sachets (not nice in tea) but as there was a fridge we bought a small milk. Bar staff were friendly and beers were very reasonable ie £5 ish for 2 pints of lager top. There was plenty of choice for breakfast but the toaster was broken while we were there. The waffle maker made lovely waffles in 3 minutes and the coffee machines had a great selection of different coffee's. The only thing I would say is that the tables were not re-made once someone had had their breakfast and we had to get our own cutlery, water jug, glasses, napkin etc. We purchased a 72 hr travel pass (each) at the airport for 310 local money (each) which is about £10 (each.) We used this pass on all bus, trams & the metro. We found it really easy to get around even though my son had put the uber app on my mobile we were determined to use the local transport. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

3.98km from MlejnVery good hotel situated in Jinonice, a suburb of Prague. The location is pretty good in the sense that metro station Jinonice of the yellow line is practically beyond the corner and in about 15 minutes you can be in the heart of Prague. For me it was also conveniently located close to the university campuses, the venue of the conference I came to. The room was spacious and clean with the aircon, which I didn't use and with well working WiFi. The breakfast was very good, a usual European mix of omelette, bacon, sausages, and pastries. The staff can be best described as correct-neither too forthcoming nor rude. The only issue I can point to at this hotel was the hot water in the shower which was available in the evening but not always in the morning. All in all Herrmes is very nice hotel and should I come to Prague in the future I'll probably stay in it again.
4.57km from MlejnWe have been there 4 nights on a family trip. The location was great just 20 meters from the tram station and you can go anywhere by tram. the staff were polite and helpful, we asked about how we can get to the hotel from the airport and they help us. Also, they helped about sightseeing in Prague. Furthermore, you can buy a public transportation ticket from the reception. The service was good, the hotel environment was very clean and breakfast was rich. I have a good memory from this hotel and I like to repeat this hotel again. I think it was the best between 3star hotels in the Prague. The only problem was that some renewal is required for the rooms.

5.32km from MlejnThis hotel occupies a large 16-storey building, in part the Centrum doktorandskych a manazerskych studii (Centre of Post-Graduate and Management Studies) situated just off the main road which links the city to the airport. Convenient for the nearby metro station and tram stops plus of course the frequent 119 bus to the airport. The room we had was large, had a nice view and a balcony, but as every hotelier knows the comfort of the beds is paramount. Our bed had one of the thinnest mattress I have ever slept on to date, appearing to be simply a slab of foam rubber. However, we must have been unlucky because some rooms, the doors of which were left open, seemed better furnished worthy of a 3-star establishment. Had we known earlier we would have asked for a change. Because of its size the hotel receives a large number of coach parties, the groups converge on the breakfast room at their earliest opportunity so be prepared for a noisy and chaotic breakfast. The one redeeming feature that we liked most, was the small down-to-earth restaurant serviced by friendly staff and with all the dishes on offer at very reasonable prices. Certainty there are many plus points to staying here such as the good transport links, the communist style architecture and is especially ideal for those who like nice hard foam mattresses.
Hotels Near Mlejn In Prague Review
We just got back from our 7-day trip to Prague and we had the best hotel experience staying at Park Inn Hotel. The whole staff was very kind and available for any request 24/7. Our room was gorgeous, extremely spacious and cozy, with two walls covered in large windows that faced the Moldava River and the streets of Prague. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, which was very comfortable since I prefer long hot baths and my boyfriend takes quick showers. Moreover we had three different Dove hand-body wash/shampoo dispensers that were free to use. The cleaning service works everyday, but I noticed a few problems, like some dirt on the carpet in a corner behind the entrance door and two or three rose petals under our bed on our very first day (maybe because it was February 15th and we checked-in earlier than we were supposed to, so the cleaning lady didn't have enough time to and they also offer laundry service. There's a restaurant on the ground floor where we had breakfast everyday, and it serves a vast range of dishes and beverages (eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, cheese, potato pancakes, butter, bread, pastries, jams, cereal, milk, smoothies, all kinds of coffee and tea and so much more). The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, but the prices are a lot higher than in a local restaurant in the city, so we didn't try it. The hotel is 4 minutes away from two different tram stops (Vytón [where there's also a ticket machine with a card reader in case you don't have any change] and Albertov) and just 300mt away from a tiny supermarket named Tesco for any groceries necessity.
Myself and my husband stayed here for three nights as part of BA package. The hotel was only a short transfer from the hotel and is right next to Metro and Tram transport links. The hotel is very modern, clean, and quiet - at times we felt like we were the only people staying there! The reception staff were always very polite. We were able to get into our room as soon as we arrived and they were able to always help us - we bought transport tickets from them at reception, changed money from notes to coins and also used the luggage storage service upon checking out. The only slight disappointment is that there were a range of items provided in the fridge in the room (water, beer, pepsi and cholocate) and we were only aware that these were chargeable upon checkout when we were billed for them! We have stayed in many hotels around the world were obviously items in the mini bar are chargable, however this has always been made clear on a sign in the room, but we have also stayed in hotels were the items are complimentary. Also don't forget you will get billed a nightly tax at the end of your stay. We did however have a lovely stay at the Diplomat and nothing was too much trouble. We would return here if ever returning to Prague.
My husband booked this as a surprise 18th Wedding Anniversary get away. The hotel is beautiful. Comfortable and immaculately clean. A stone's throw from the metro which was so easy to navigate. We went all over. The Architecture is just stunning. We were lucky with the weather....not too cold, but all courtyard bars have blankets to snuggle under with heaters. Be prepared to walk alot if sightseeing is your thing. And no high heels. All the streets and roads are cobbled. Food and drink are so cheap and the beer is crazy cheap. We lived our time away. The breakfast was a huge selection. And although there isn't tea or coffee making in the rooms, it's available all around the hotel complimentary. We loved the little linen bag you hang out every day for a little surprise. Easy check in and out. Definately recommend.
This hotel is located on the edge of Prague's Old Town. It takes 20 minutes to walk to Prague Square, which is a long way. Uber is recommended (Uber in Czech is very convenient and cheap). The hotel facilities are a bit old and had to be renovated about 5-8 years ago. The lobby downstairs is very bright, the afternoon tea in the lobby bar is delicious, and there is a small casino on the ground floor (Prague has many such small casinos, this is considered regular). There is a small shopping mall downstairs and a supermarket inside (not 24 hours, it closes at about 20:00)
I am a frequent traveler to the Czech Republic, so I am frequently coming and going through Prague. I have stayed at many hotels in Prague ... and The Emblem is absolutely the best. I stay nowhere else now. #1 ... is the SERVICE. Absolutely stellar staff ... Erika, Teresa, et. al. have gone over the top many times to make my visit the best. #2 ... LOCATION. Right near Old Town Square ... near Charles Bridge ... near the trams. Perfect location. #3 ... SPA ... massage ... fitness .... #4 ... FOOD ... the attached Michelin-star'd dining restaraunt is spectacular. I recommend The Emblem ...without reservation. It is the best.
Thanks to BA cancelling my flight, i ended up with a night here at the Grandior. Centrally located for the Metro, trams and only a one stop metro ride from the Main railway station. I have stayed in Na Porici before and there are loads of good bars & restaurants close by. The hotel public areas and rooms are immaculate. Service was some of the best that i have had in the Czech republic, that can sometimes be a little surly at other locations. At breakfast time, guests are asked to wear masks to the buffet breakfast, however once at the table these can obviously be removed. On the subject of the breakfast it was more than adequate. If i was a little picky, i would like to see the selection of cold meat and fresh fruit expanded. The only pain for me at the hotel was that the lifts are operated by the room cards and these could be a little temperamental. Thought being so close to the road would be noisy but shouldn't have worried. Would definitely stay here again.
