The Penzion is an easy walk from the bus station (and train station) I found that the streets in Tabor could be a little disorientating so previewing a map would be advised. I found my way to the main square but couldn't see any signs for the Penzion. After walking around for 15 mins I finally found the entrance just off the square on a side street. It was New Years Day and most businesses were closed but the little cafe on the Penzion ground floor was serving coffee/cakes. This was also the reception area. I was obviously not expected and had to produce 'my papers' to prove I was a booked and paid guest. I was left sitting in the cafe for 30 mins, I guess while staff were frantically getting a room ready. I wasn't given any explanation and left to sit while they continued to serve customers their coffees/cakes. It was really awkward for me. Finally my room was ready and I trudged up the flights of stairs. It was not the room I had booked. No view of the square, no bathtub as advertised. BUT it was a pleasant room, clean, heated towel rack was lovely. My disappointment in this Penzion was in the lack of an apology for their error and having me sit for 30 mins without any explanation. Not even an offer of a complementary coffee while I waited. Later, I had to eat something from the cafe as nothing else was open. I think the quiche had been sitting there for some time!. The breakfast next morning was adequate. I'm sure on any other day this Penzion could earn another star .. but not this day

We stayed at the Hotel Grand for one night during a long drive home. The hotel is no longer grand - it’s glamour and fame is long gone, the hotel now occupies one floor of the historical building, there is a supermarket on the ground floor and various other business in the same building. We'd chosen it due to proximity to the old part of Tabor, the free on-site parking as well as the reasonable price. The hotel is easy to spot on the high street/square, however the access to the hotel and the parking is from behind the hotel (behind the large linden tree). The receptionist’s directions were very helpful and easy to follow. Beware there is a long steep stairwell from the car park to access the hotel. We had a double room with on-suite bathroom facing the square with the busy junction. The windows were well insulated and the noise didn’t bother us. The room was perfectly adequately furnished and equipped. The bed was comfortable, however the bed linen was really poor quality. The bathroom was clean, the stand alone bathtub was great for a long bath after a whole day of travelling. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served in a smallish room that serves also as a reception. It was basic, but fine - we certainly didn’t go hungry. A simple but conveniently located hotel on the border of the historical centre.

A large 4* hotel in a converted brewery conveniently placed a few minutes’ walk from the Old Town and with ample parking. Our Superior double room was spacious and had a mezzanine sitting area in the high-ceilinged room and giving views through one of the original small oriel windows. There was a large bathroom. Everything was in working order and maintained in a clean condition. You have to pay to use the small basement swimming pool. The pleasant cellar restaurant serves quality meals. Staff are helpful and friendly and speak a good standard of English.

1. I stayed in the hotel with a little bit of anticipation and expectations. The reason is that I read many reviews before booking. Some are not very good, most of them are old equipment, and the service attitude is poor. Old equipment is a fact. Service I think the attitude is okay, the handsome waiter at the counter, good English and good attitude! 2. A little puzzled, come to check-in during the off-season, the hotel's housing rate is low, but the room for us is a mountain wall, there is no view at all room type, the mood is disappointed! 3. The hotel is divided into the main building and the annex building. It is evaluated that someone has stayed in the annex building, even the restaurant for breakfast, and the restaurant in the main building is not a grade. The main building. Sure enough, staying in the main building, the breakfast restaurant is too beautiful, the breakfast is also great, is the biggest highlight of the stay!

The view is a city view room, the view from the window is very good, very close to the various attractions, breakfast is very rich, the important point is that the quilt is really soft and very light but very warm ~ no kind of hotel quilt feels a little wet, the room is very Big and very warm, I really like this hotel~Recommended recommendation, the price is very high~ If you want to go, you can ask the local traffic information of the hotel front desk, also help us to inquire and print it~ Figure 1 is taken from the window of the room we live in. ~

One of the cheaper hotels in Karlovy Vary - as we were on business trip, we needed just accommodation with breakfast (arriving late in the evening, departing early in the morning) and I decided on this hotel. A good choice! Lots of parking space in front of the hotel. Room with basic equipment, but clean and the bed was rather small but comfortable (fortunately, I am not too tall). Breakfast without a lot of options, but good enough and tasty. If I come to Karlovy Vary on vacation I will rather choose a more luxurious hotel, but for what I needed it was perfect.

I took the bus in Prague. After getting off the bus, I entered the town by crossing the road. I went to the navigation, but reminded everyone, just follow the direction of the navigation. The navigation may be a little closer, but let you go up the mountain and go down the mountain. Wait, holding the baggage is too tired to fully listen to the navigation. This place is easy to find.

We spent only 4 days in this hotel including my birthday. Not the first time in Karlovy Vary, but the first time staying outside the city centre. This complex of a few buildings connected with an underground spa / health facilities is truly elegant, stylish and well maintained. The room was very clean and cleaned every day. We stayed in a very big suite with a balcony facing a lovely garden. Breakfast was really varied; however, the large breakfast room was a bit overcrowded during the weekends. There are 4 tables outside and the place would benefit from more, particularly in summer. Although the hotel is not located in the city centre, with a car one can get to the city centre in about 10 minutes. There are a few restaurants within walking distance as well. As the weather was rather good, we did not use the pool and wellness/fitness facilities every day but we had a couple of massages and used the pool. All good.

In Astoria, I was satisfied in every way. I started the day with procedures that were relaxing and of a high standard. Lunch and breakfast delicious. We had a very clean room with a view of the Mill Colonnade. I was delighted with the tea room, which offers 4 types of tea every day, live green wall in the main lobby and modern design of furniture and accessories in the room. And most of all, the hotel staff at reception, procedures, the dining room was smiling and friendly. I highly recommend this relaxing hotel and looking forward to a future stay.

I was in Karlovy Vary for business trip, not for leasure, thus, I used this hotel just to sleep and eat, and for swimming. No procedures. Hotel is a bit old but it add some charm. Room is nice, however, would be even better if they do something with light. You need to turn all lamps manually, that is not convinient. Bed is ok, but it's strange they do not have wide sheets and use two of them to cover bed. Blanket is a bit short for me (I'm 1,75 sm), thus, this might be a problem for taller persons. Breakfast is fine standard hotel breakfast. Without any healthy options. However, they have gluten free bread and lactose free milk, that is very good. Dinner is somewhat overpriced if you are tasking it without prior notice (about 32 euro) but has a good choice of meals. Swimming pool is warm. I think, it's more for medical excersises that for swimming. Personnel speaks Russian and English. Seems like they prefer Russian and not so fluent with English. I'm surprised with comment below for overpriced taxi. Seems, we contacted with different persons at the reception as I get a taxi to Nove Sedlo (16 km from there) for 285 krones. Person at the reception also allow me to leave my bag till 4 pm. However, they did not inform me that I forget my glasses in the room during check-out despite the fact that I came to hotel back in 5 h after check-out for my bag.

It took a lot of effort to get to the hotel. The hotel area is quite large, divided into blue areas and green areas, plus a single-family area. However, the order could not be seen at all. We all walked to the blue area and went to the front desk to check in to know that it was actually on the other side.

Some things were great about this hotel and others have room for improvement, starting with check-in. Not sure if the lukewarm greeting was because we are nit Russian or whether things were lost in translation. We had to emphatically state that the booking was indeed for three people and not two and then one, as they wanted us to believe. (We were three people standing there with three big bags). The room itself was huge - a living area, a separate bedroom and a huge bathroom with a big corner bath. However, no sign of a third bed - in spite of requesting mo the ago, a king size bed and twin singles. Reluctantly a churlish young lady came and wanted to separate the king into twin singles. With no grace she then made up the sofa and would not accept our offer of help. However she need not have bothered because a worse sofa bed you will be hard pushed to find. The bed folds out at an angle, the mattress is very thin and every metal bar from the fold it base could be felt. Therefore, my daughter slept a night on the floor. Looking forward to the spa area we went to the top floor. The spa or whirlpool can sit 5 at a pinch but the jets do not work well in all sections. The ladder into the whirlpool is really dangerous - you are better off hoping in from the side. The pool was freezing and the jets available there did not work either. Finding a list of so a treatments required tenacity - unless you can read Czech or Russian. We got one from a cleaner but chose to do other things instead. Breakfast was surprisingly good - sufficient variety. Best thing about the hotel was its location. - easy access everything we wanted to do.

This stay was a pleasant surprise. Our room was on the upper floors and the view from our window was across the river to the plaza where the Colonnade is located. The hotel staff were very accommodating and helped us throughout our stay. We requested parking when we booked our stay. There is limited space within the hotel for parking, so take our advice and do this too. The hotel is central in the town so no matter what way you want to walk, everything is close. The restaurant on site has a great menu and is well worth a visit. We stayed there in early June 2018 so disregard the travel box as that date was not available to check.

Hotel location is very good, on a large slope, under the slope is the old city center, this is an old five-star hotel, it is estimated that the town is the most expensive, the service is top-class, the room is fully equipped, but the picture of Ctrip There is an error, I correct it. First of all, there is no bathtub in the entire hotel room. Ctrip's picture is wrong, I hope to update. I booked a suite, no balcony, only the business suite has a balcony, I am a warm reminder to book a passenger, then the breakfast is very good, is the production of the five-star hotel, the hotel guest sauna and swimming is free, the pool is relatively small, this home The hotel's second pop room is big and new. Marx came to the hospital three times. It is estimated that it was sponsored by Engels. Haha, there is a choice of accommodation requirements. I commented that this hotel is a five-star!

Stayed for mini break at this beautiful chic boutique hotel. Wow, what a stunning hotel. From walking into the reception area to my room. The reception area is very classy. The Receptionist was so friendly and helpful. The interior of the hotel is absolutely beautiful. Very very clean. The room is spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast was the best I have tried. Choice is ideal. They make fresh omelettes or pancakes, then also you have a good choice of cheese, ham, cereals, fruits, bread and many more. The coffee was the nicest I have ever had on holiday. The hotel is very close to the centre, 2 min walk. Over all I will not hesitate to recommend this gorgeous hotel to anyone. I will be returning back very soon!

A relatively small hotel re-built from an apartment building into a very cosy hotel. There is no 24 hours reception, but they can leave keys for you in the locker box outside of the hotel, so you can come late. Hotel staff is extremely friendly and speaks very good English. The hotel has spacious rooms and spacious bathrooms with plenty of electrical sockets for charging your devices. The breakfast is typical prepared food: ham plate, cheese plate, yougurts, flakes, pastries etc. Make sure you try a round pastry with poppy seeds or cottage cheese - koláč. They are local delicacy and absolutely superb. The hotel is located just 180m from the closest well - Vřídlo, which is a geyser well and is pretty spectacular. Despite the hotel is located a bit on the far end of the city it's in a walking distance from all main tourist attractions. The closest supermarket is Billa and it's located 1.4 km from the hotel. If you want larger selection then there is Albert located further in 1.7 km from the hotel.

We stayed the one night on a quick trip over from Germany - my first visit to the Czech Republic. Fantastic location. The lady at check in couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful and our triple room was large, spotless and the air con brought a welcome relief from the heat outside. Bathroom was superb with a huge walk in shower with several attachments and loads of room. Only downside was spend too long in the shower and then bathroom floods, but easily remedied using a towel as a barrier. Breakfast was served in the hotel across the street (50 metres away at the most) and was a good typical European continental assortment. Plenty of breads cheeses and meats, fruits and cereals, pastries and some hot items. Sausage and scrambled eggs when I was there. Due to the central location car parking is chargeable and a limited number of places are directly outside or there is a multi storey at the end of the street - both are approx €8 per 24hr period. My friend left the keys to his apartment behind and next morning we got a whatsapp message advising they’d been found and the hotel would post them back to him. Superb customer service! Nothing negative about Hotel Malta. Highly recommend and would happily stay again

The room is a large suite with a nice view. The photos were taken in the room or on the balcony of the room. There are parking spaces, but not too much. The front desk of the hotel is going out, and there is a small road that is the road to the observatory. It overlooks the panorama of the town and visitors are scarce.
