Hotels Near Mochica In San Francisco
1.63km from MochicaThis gets 2 stars because the staff is nice and the rooms relatively cheap, but this place is a janky motel and I found it very uncomfortable, lacking a few key amenities. Cannot imagine how anyone could give this a 4 star rating? My guess is those folks have never traveled before or have very low self-esteem and don't think they deserve comfort. Pros: - Friendly staff - Clean bedding - Easy proximity to mid-Market, downtown, and the Stud, if you're into that place Cons: - No elevator anon ground floor rooms, although the front desk clerk did help me carry my luggage up the stairs - Beds and pillows are very firm, terrible for side sleepers or anyone who prefers or needs a medium or soft bed. I'm writing this at 4:30am because I can't sleep for fear of hurting my back - Beds don't have proper blankets, just a very thin one between two top sheets and a bizarre faux blanket at the foot of the bed that is just a thin, 18" x 48" runner. I had to ask for another blanket and the desk clerk had to check to see if they had one. - Very thin walls. I thought I was used to noise but you can hear 9th Street as if it were in your room, and the pigeons are an intermittent nuisance. - Room was clean, but the decor is so run down, it doesn't look it. I had to check the tub surface with my handset see if it was clean because it is so worn. - Carpet, not so clean. - Rooms are tiny, which would be fine if comfortable, but exacerbates the discomfort I'm beating myself up for not checking out the reviews first, so that's on me. But my expectations really weren't very high - I just needed a clean, quiet-ish place I could sleep for a couple of nights while in town for work. But the San Francisco Inn cannot provide that.
1.77km from MochicaIf I'd had an elegant and lovely Victorian grandma, I'm sure she'd have been right at home at the Inn San Francisco. Owner Marty is a sweetheart, showed us all the hallway photos and gave us a detailed orientation to the city and the hotel. Without his intro, we'd have missed the truly amazing rooftop view. His hand-drawn map of all the restaurants in the area is absolutely impressive. Marty, GREAT GOLD is a fabulous new Italian restaurant on 24th that deserves to be added to your map--from the same folks who brought SF flour+water. Fresh flowers in the bathroom and bedroom: lovely. Sherry and port on silver trays: elegant. Breakfast beyond breakfasts. Stargazer lilies in the common room: ugh, I'm not a fan of that pervasive strong smell but I know that's my personal nose-wrinkle. Coffee was bitter, maybe bring in something from Portland? ;) You absolutely cannot beat the personal touches throughout the Inn and of course, there's the uber-hip Mission district right outside the door. The Inn is an easy 10-minute walk from 2 BART stations and about a half hour walk to the Castro. If your taste leans more toward Zen minimalist decor, don't stay here. But otherwise, go out, wander around, enjoy the hubbub and excitement of the diverse neighborhood, then return to your dream grandma's quiet mansion for evening sherry.

1.81km from MochicaWe stayed here at the beginning of February, just for 2 nights. The hotel has a secure buzz in/keycard entry front door. Lady on reception was very sweet and friendly and quickly checked us in. The room was a good size, with a large double bed, sink, wardrobe and ceiling fan. There was also a tv with cable so a great selection of things to watch. The toilet was at the end of the corridor, there was never a wait to use it. The showers were a little dated and could probably do with an update. There was a free breakfast area with tea, coffee and juice, and a selection of cereal, toast and waffles. Ok, so the hotel IS above a nightclub (but I did my research beforehand so I knew this), we were in the room directly above it. It was a little loud but the hotel are kind enough to provide earplugs and the noise died down around 1 - 1:30am so it wasn't a problem. I felt safe in the area and visited some local bars and restaurant without any bother. Would stay again!

1.87km from MochicaRoom and staff were amazing. We came for a small birthday dinner in the city. Public areas and breakfast are not available in the hotel (a good covid precaution in my opinion). Ac and refrigerator were not working in my room. A bit disappointing because a hot hotel room is not ideal and neither is a non-functioning refrigerator. The fan for the restroom was also not working. I understand things may be difficult to spot with the way hotels function during the pandemic, but I hope they consider checking everything in rooms are functioning before checkin. I definitely will be staying again in the future. Other than that the gentleman at checkin was very kind and helpful. The woman working 10/24 around 6am was also very sweet with helping us look for water. You can tell that they go above and beyond to maintain sanitation and safety. One of these examples is that even TV remotes are sanitized and kept in a plastic wrap so that we know nobody else has touched it. I was in a 2 bed and pullout room type. Very spacious room and it was a perfect accommodation for my family/friend group of 6.

1.92km from MochicaStayed here after our flight was cancelled. The room for 1 night was expensive considering we booked so last minute and it is quite far away from where you want to be in San Francisco. The surrounding areas of the hotel (especially 7th street) is full of homeless people and drug dealers. It was quite scary walking back to the hotel at night. If only the hotel can be picked up and moved location because the hotel itself is nice. It’s very quirky and well decorated, iron board and iron in your room, big comfy bed, clean rooms, someone on reception 24/7 when we were there. Negatives to the hotel is there is no lift (and no rooms on the bottom floor) so you will have to carry your suitcases up the stairs which is minimum 2 flights to get to 1 floor. If stairs are an issue defintaley don’t stay here. The rooms are also noisy because of the activity outside. It’s about a 20/25 minute walk to union square but again because of the location it’s not a pleasant walk. The hotel itself I would give 4 stars if the location was better. Overall though I would not stay here again purely because of location and activity happening around the streets of the hotel. Also don’t see how they can justify the price for 1 nights stay.

1.95km from MochicaHotel Via defines the modern “boutique hotel” experience in San Francisco. The booking process on-line was efficient and intuitive. When I had questions about my accommodations, I was able to reach a live person on the phone at the hotel lobby desk within seconds of calling. Loading and unloading were simple, as the main entrance is located on a side street off the Embarcadero. Generally speaking, the space is able to create a warm feel with a modern design and color scheme. The hotel staff are universally friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The rooms are super clean, exceptionally quiet, and have all the modern amenities. The rooftop bar, Rooftop at Via, with sweeping views of downtown San Francisco, San Francisco Bay, and Oracle Park (home of the San Francisco Giants), is spectacular. The gym is spacious and functional. Bar Via offers a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of food and drink offerings. The location offers easy access to many of San Francisco’s most popular sights and destinations. I will surely be back and recommend Hotel Via to anybody!

Hotels Near Mochica In San Francisco Review
1, the booking room is a bit early, one month in advance, the result is expensive, not including breakfast, the total price is not expensive; 2, the extra bed is not needed, the bed is very suitable for bringing children, the supplies are also very good; 3, the hotel location is very good, there is a lot of Chinese food next door across the street and The sea, the location should be very good, very prominent on this road, the parking lot is also very large, no car; 4? I don't know why the evaluation is not very good. To be honest, I feel pretty good. The lobby is also very large. There are orange slices and apples to enjoy. 5. There is a handsome guy at the door to help you, can help and be very enthusiastic. But my husband is worried about tipping, and I don't know how much to give, so all self-help 6. The only problem is that the bed is too soft, the pillow is too soft, and the backache is asleep. The air conditioner is not loud, and the air conditioner is open several times. And found that there is not. Maybe this is where everyone is not satisfied.
South of Market
The male staff in the evening shift is very friendly, very patient, always smiling, and the service is very good! It rained outside and I also borrowed an umbrella for me. The room was great,
my room was on the top floor, there was a balcony in the room and the bed was very comfortable!
The location is very good, just in the city center, to various attractions, shopping and shopping, the surrounding restaurants are very convenient, it should be the best hotel I have ever stayed on this trip!
If you have the chance to go to Berlin again, you have to choose this hotel!
San Francisco Downtown
The place photos very well but in person it’s a little run-down. The radiator in the room never came on when needed and was always on when the sun was beating through the windows making the room Africa-hot!
San Francisco Downtown
The location is very convenient. You can walk to Chinatown, Jiuquhua Street and Fisherman's Wharf. Although the hotel's breakfast is 25% off, the price is more expensive than the restaurant outside. When I checked out, there was a restaurant that was n’t the one I ordered and it was taken to my bill. Remember to check the bill when you check out, and after swiping the card, I do n’t know whether the hotel has successfully refunded.
San Francisco Downtown
We had a lovely stay at the Embassy hotel. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable, the bathroom looked a bit worn but still clean. It would be really nice if they could put a small kettle in the room, because the only way to get a cup of tea was to pour cold water in a paper cup, go to the second floor, and use their microwave to boil the water. Some people mentioned in their reviews that the area was unsafe because of the homeless people and drug addicts. While it is true that there are many homeless people in this area and we did see a few people shoot up in the middle of the street in bright daylight, we never felt unsafe. It was, perhaps, a bit surprising, but nevertheless safe.
San Francisco Downtown
Location is good, rooms are large, bathrooms are large, suitable for families. clean. The room was cold at night and shivering. 4: 30-6pm and wine for afternoon tea, free of charge. Breakfast is snacks with tea and coffee. However, I have never had a decent breakfast in a hotel in the United States. It's not far from the US Passport Center and the Chinese Embassy, and it's within walking distance. It is also convenient to take a taxi to the airport within half an hour.
