I commented on my experience this past weekend with this hotel and even though my review was factual I also believe in posting when things are being corrected. I received a call from the owner of the hotel and he was and is VERY concerned about how guest are treated. As I explained my experience staying he was disappointed in the staff and the lack of proficiency in the training. I did tell him that every staff that I walked passed was very professional and they greeted me each and every time. He assured me that they have made some positive changes and they have reviewed the training of the new staff. There are times when you just don't want to risk going back to places to relive the situation, but we all make mistakes. I believe the owner has made the necessary changes to the facility by listening and correcting the wrong. As you can see posting reviews really do make a difference. I'm asking that you give this hotel a 2nd chance - we all make mistakes. Thanks.

Nice, clean hotel. Check in was fairly smooth. The computer was slow to check us in but the attendant stayed calm and patient. The room we had was large and had 2 large windows. Downfall was that we directly across from the elevator. I suggest asking for a room away from the elevator due to constant noise. Breakfast was your standard covid fare. Grab and go fruit and granola bars. Worst part of this hotel? Just getting to it. The roads around here are confusing and you need to drive through other parking lots to get there.

As always, these are my opinions. Your experience could be different than mine. Location: This hotel is land locked and next to a busy street and an intersection. The nearby intersection is on an incline which puts the hotel at a lower elevation than the steet. This makes the cars seem louder if you have a window that faces the street, which I did. If you are a light sleeper this might be an issue so be sure to ask for a room that does not face the street. Parking Lot: Land locked property so the thru lane/ parking spaces are small. There are less vehicles parked in back of the hotel so that might be a better place for you to park if you have a larger vehicle or are not comfortable parking in smaller spaces. There is no room for an RV/trailer. Staff: I only came into contact with one of the hotel staff and she was polite and professional. Room: The room was clean and of course I checked the bare mattress corners for any issues, a past reviewer mentioned about bedbugs but that was NOT and issue on my stay. The mattress was in really good shape and comfortable. I have mixed emotions on the kitchenette though. The refrigerator cycled frequently during my stay and since I am not used to sleeping four feet away from a refrigerator, I had trouble sleeping. I was unable to locate a notepad/pen/pencil/guest book in the room. Also no ice bucket/cups, I had to use the glass bottle from my tea to drink water. The bathroom was clean and functional. I had to take my pictures with my tablet for this review so the pictures might be a bit fuzzy. The biggest plus would be the bed and the biggest minus would be the proximity to the street/noise. With that being said, I would not stay here again.

This hotel is only 3 years old. I had a king bed in a large room with a large bathroom. The entire hotel was immaculately clean!! Very impressed! Lots of plug-ins easily accessible, plus usb charging ports, which was good because I forgot my plug to go with my charger cord. LIghting was great, lights behind/over the headboard and over the tv, plus small lights on both sides of the bed. Breakfast had way more options than most hotels and food was good. Coffee was available 24/7. Staff was friendly and always smiling. Overall great experience, I just wish hotels weren't so expensive, I hate paying over $75 a night, this one was $100.

I initially chose this hotel based on its ratings as a place for an overnight stay as we traveled to Colorado. Another hotel, in the old market area where I had stayed several years ago, while having history, had scores that were less than impressive recently. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. My husband had forgotten the cord for his Surface and when we asked at the desk if they might have one available, the manager said that they didn't, but then lent us hers! When we asked for the shuttle to take us to J. Gilbert's Steakhouse, the guy at the desk not only arranged for the shuttle to take us there, but gave us a card for 20% off the food portion of our bill. When I was booking a hotel for our return home, I had no trouble once again booking The EVEN, but this time booked a room with two beds as I had found out that those rooms had wooden doors to the bathroom. During our first stay our single-bedded room had a frosted glass door to the bathroom and flooded the room with light if you got up during the night. I was glad to see all staff members and most guests wearing masks in the common areas of the hotel. The EVEN is located in a mixed use neighborhood with some businesses and residences nearby, there really aren't food options within an easy walking distance at night. The free shuttle drivers were really great (don't forget to tip them) and easily dropped us off and picked us up from our restaurant. I would definitely stay here again.

I arrived in Omaha at midnight, stranded without a place to stay, and ended up in this hotel, which is out of my league price-wise, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was really big and clean and had everything you need. There is a cozy lobby area which has a nice fireplace and gives the place a more personal feel. What struck me the most was how very friendly and helpful the staff were, all of them very super nice and always up for a little chat. Another thing I noticed is how fast the elevator is, so even if your room is high up, you'll be there quick.

The amount they charged for our little dog to stay with us for 1 night was almost equal to the room rate, but other than that, no serious complaints. We had some bad experiences with hotel cleanliness and Covid safety protocols on this road trip and were really pleased with this property. Room was very clean, all staff was masked, no crowds gathered in lobby etc. Comfortable bed, quiet. Slept very well. Location is a bit off the interstate, but lots of restaurants and retail nearby.

We were coming through late at night, traveling with a trailer that had some of our priceless possessions on it. We were so worried that someone was going to get in to it over night, until we arrived and spoke with Fawn. She told us that she would look out in the parking lot and keep an eye on it throughout the night and that there were cameras onsite as well. We were able to rest more easily since she was so kind and we knew that someone was keeping an eye on it. When we came down the next morning, there she was... standing towards the front door, looking at the parking lot, making sure things were still good for us. This sweet last was a HUGE blessing and we are so thankful for her. It’s not often that you find someone so caring and considerate and the Hilton (Embassy) should hang on to her as long as they can. She is truly an asset. 💗

I am a frequent patron of HIE across the country. I stayed at this location 3 years ago for an entire week after a family loss. It was such a hood experience that I stayed again when i had to return weeks later to deal with the estate and then a year later for a reunion. There are lots of other IHG properties as well as competitors in the Omaha Metro, but we chose this property again last weekend. At checking the front desk person Cheyenne, I believe her name was working. She asked me if I wanted amenity points and I said, 'Yes, I'm chasing after that Spire Elite status". She looked at the computer and said, "You're only Platinum." I thought, "Yes... I know. That's why I said, 'Chasing' the Spire Elite". I let it go without comment because I just wanted to get into my room after an 8 hour drive. The next day my wife's key card wasn't working. She went down to the front desk and Cheyenne was there again. My wife told me when she told Cheyenne her key wasn't working her reply was, "Well, you have two keys don't you?" She told her yes, but she wanted to be able to use hers too. After running the card a few times she gave it back to my wife. My wife came back to the room and the card still didn't work. I took the key card and went back down. I told Cheyenne that there must something wrong with the card. She ran the same card again and I asked for an entirely different card. She shook it at me and said, "It's not the card" slapped it down and gave me two more cards, snapping, "if you have that other key card upstairs it's not going to work" So. I understand Cheyenne is a young lady, but that is no excuse for her acting like a petulant child. There is no excuse for that kind of unprofessional attitude. I will continue to use IHG, but never again will I set foot at this particular property.

I was going to stay across the street then compared parking lots and chose this one. Glad I did! There’s a slight tiki theme, which I love. Gary checking me in was thorough and friendly. Got the top floor and had great views and a huge room! Way too much space for me, but I’m not complaining, it was awesome. Quick elevators and lots of soda vending machines. Went and ate at the restaurant near the lobby area, the Firewater Grille. It proceeded to snow (rude) but luckily I had a fruity tiki drink in my hand, so as the adage goes “let it snow”. Had the sliders which were a bit underwhelming, but food was welcomed. Sat under the tiki bar area and chatted with a few regulars while watching the Dolphins lose (surprise). Had a couple more tiki drinks. Then the decision came. Which TV in my room do I watch my regular “Forensic File” marathon in? Well I chose both. For the breakfast, it was ok. Good starting fuel. Christina kept a good vibe in the place and the 24 hour coffee is nice. I’d definitely stay here again, so close the the freeway and next door to a gas station. Good team, lots of space, oh! The sheets and bed were just amazing. I would live there.

This modern hotel is a great addition to the downtown area. Perfect location...walking distance to the Old Market, Ameritrade Field,, Convention Center, restaurants, etc. The staff is accommodating, the rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. They have a great lobby with a full bar, nice size workout facility, and an awesome outdoor pool deck... open during the summer months. Parking garage attached to hotel or valet available. Rooms facing the street are a bit noisy, request room on the other side of building.

One of the things I've always liked about the Hampton Inns brand is its consistent quality. That said, their significantly higher rates on cancelable reservations has recently steered me away from the brand. This trip, when that feature wasn't necessary, was a good reminder why I like the brand. Helpful and friendly staff; very nice room, with excellent climate control; decent free breakfast every day; better workout room than you typically find in a mid-range brand. If you need a quick bite, the pizza joint, My Pie Pizza, is a short walk out of hotel's front door.

I stayed at this hotel for one night during my midwest road trip. I was assigned room 419. My rate including all taxes was $79.40 for the night. Service - Service was great! The female who assisted me during check-in (Morgan) was very friendly and personable. She was happy to answer any questions I had and she was very helpful! She was also wearing a mask covering her nose and mouth. Room - Room was perfect. It was large and sparking clean. Super comfortable bed. Shower had glass sliding doors. Water temperature was great, but water pressure was not. Right amount of bathroom counter space for your toiletries and the bathroom was vey well lit. Great working AC. Microwave. Mini-refrigerator that worked great. Fast wi-fi. Conveniently placed electrical outlets. Super comfortable desk chair. Hotel Information - Hotel has 131 rooms and five floors. Nice lobby.....bright, clean, and simple. Convenient free parking all around the hotel or in a parking garage connected to the hotel. Location - It is located in the heart of Aksarben Village. Aksarben is Nebraska” spelled backwards. It is an entertainment and shopping district with shops, restaurants, bars, bike trails and green spaces. It is located about eight miles or 12 minutes from downtown Omaha. I recommend this property and I would consider staying here again if my travels ever bring me back to the area!

We visit Omaha a couple times a year. Usually, we stay out in West Omaha, but decided to look into downtown. This new (14 month) property is immaculately kept. Clean lobby, elevators, hallways, stairways and rooms. We stayed several days and came and went at all hours. We encountered staff at all hours, spanning every shift and found every employee exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping were quite terrific, but front desk staff absolutely set this property as one of the very best (I spend 70% of the year in a hotel) Holidayinnexpress I've ever stayed. The only knock was the parking is odd. As with most large cities, the property is surrounded by one way streets. There is a convenient parking lot on the South side of the hotel, accessible only by South bound street. There is another parking lot on the West side, accessible by West bound street but is separated from the hotel by another private business parking lot. Not the hotel's fault (Urban issues) but something to be aware of. There is no doubt that this will be the hotel we will stay at the next time we are in Omaha. I regret that I only have a few names, but I absolutely want to give a special shout out to, Imani, Shawn, Kami and General Manager Douglas. Great job to you all!!

Hotel location, facilities are good, breakfast is also available, there are many restaurants nearby, it should have been a good experience, but very depressed is the hotel booked in Ctrip in advance, but also paid the full amount, but because of Ctrip, the hotel I re-debited my credit card for two days (290💲). After unintentionally discovering and communicating with Ctrip twice, I said that I had communicated with the hotel and I would not charge any more. As a result, the hotel had to deduct the fee when checking out. After spending more than an hour of repeated communication, it was found that Ctrip’s problem was not communicated with the hotel. I paid almost 320&#128178 on the Internet; Ctrip paid only 200&# to the hotel. 128178;, so the hotel has to charge. Finally, I made a lot of calls before I contacted Ctrip, saying that I would pay for it first (70💲) and then return it to me! It’s an unforgettable experience. I hope that Ctrip will not happen again in the future. And I don't know when the hotel will return the credit card from the credit card deduction!

Outstanding staffers here make this seemingly-new RI an absolute must for all Omaha travelers – witness this is our 2nd stay. We knew when re-visiting Omaha it had to be here again. Why? Fitness room (by appointment) has free weights, water dispenser… Laundry room is massive ($1.50 wash/$1.50 dry)… ice machine on lst floor… indoor pool and jacuzzi (again by appointment)… breakfast is just a Grab ‘n Go bag but coffee in the lobby (friendly staffers like Nick the night manager will serve you). Special thanks to Caleb on the front desk for making sure our room was ready on arrival, as well as to GM Jeffrey for the much-appreciated Titanium upgrade to the fabulous 2-Bedroom (King and a Queen), 2-Bathroom (one tub, one shower) Suite. Plenty of wide-open walking spaces surround the hotel for those looking to get out and shake a leg.

During my stay at this Hilton Garden Inn I saw several guests at the front desk not wearing masks and taking photos of the CDC guidance as if it were a joke. Other guests left the elevator with the mask down or not on at all. I did not see any Hilton employee ask these guests to put their mask on. When I was at the front desk, one of the employees at the front desk removed her mask to speak to me! While I understand there is difficulty hearing someone speaking with a mask on, I never indicated I could not hear her, ironically it seemed she removed it so she could hear me better. I was appalled at the negligence of the CDC guidance. I understand people in downtown Omaha were not wearing masks, but the Hilton employees should know better. I chose Hilton for this night for the CleanStay policy, but I expected the employees to value it.

I am in the Hospitality Business and was in town looking to purchase another Bed and Breakfast here in Omaha. First, I'll talk about the room. I stayed there for almost 45 days. I selected a smoking room. The room needed much repair, but was somewhat functional. The lamps on the night stand sounded like there was a short in the wire every time you turned them on or off. I had to stop using them being paranoid of getting electrocuted. The electric stove burners weren't wired correctly. I thought I was turning on one and the wrong one was on and it would smoke as it heated up. The room is poorly insulated, you can feel the cold through the carpet, the walls and the door. The heating/air unit barely kept the room warm. Since it was a smoking room, there was no ventilation. I had to either open the door or window on a regular basis. The security for the room was poor. There was only a dead bolt to secure the door. There were holes in the wall where the security bar use to be, but no security bar. It is easy to see the hotel was absent any sort of regular maintenance. The room I stayed in was similar to a small one bedroom apartment (more like an efficiency). The was no door to the bedroom. The owner suggested that we put a blanket on the doorway if I needed privacy between the two rooms. The water was extremely hot. If you stay here with children or not, be extremely cautious about using the hot water. It will scald you. The size of the toilet is extremely small and the toilet seat had sharp edges, men be careful if you need to sit. Now I speak about the customer service. First impression was that the owners are a sweet little couple, but don't let that fool you. Every time I needed to do laundry, I had to go get the key and unlock the laundry room and then return the key. The key FOB for entry into the laundry room was not working. Only two of the four clothes washers worked and the other two were filthy. The amenities they claim to have, you need to specifically ask for, that's if they actually have them (even then they may not work when provided). At any hour of the day when you go to the check in desk, no one is there. I always had to pick up the phone and wait for them to help me out. The owners lived upstairs above the check in desk and was always in their room and not at the front desk. If you called the front desk and needed anything, they always asked for you to wait if you wanted them to bring it to you, or you had to go to the front desk. Now I will talk about why my stay was prematurely ended by 15 days. The owner's wife, stopped by my room about 8 P.M. She said that I had to close my windows if I had the heater on. I tried to explain to her that 90% of the time, if the window was open then the heater was off. I wore a hoodie or extra clothes to stay warm while I aired out the room. Specifically at this time, I did have the window cracked and the heater on. She told me that she has been watchin

(This stay was before the current COVID-19 pandemic) This was my second stay at a Candlewood Suites hotel and I wasn’t disappointed. This particular location is conveniently located near several anchor stores; Walmart, Target, Sam’s and Home Depot. Several eating restaurants, fast food and dine in are nearby. Pros- Upon arrival, the lobby is a comfortable size with pleasant lighting and furnishings. A small, recessed area for business offers a copying/fax machine as well as computer. Three washers, four dryers are on the premise for free guest use. Kim, the desk clerk on duty, presented a warm, welcoming smile and professional air. My room was located on the fourth floor which was nice to not have anyone above me or having to deal with the elevator traffic. The staff in general are kind and enjoyable. Because of my long stay, they made me feel like family. The parking lot is well lit. I felt safe when I had to leave for work at five in the morning. My room came with two queen beds and furnishings that gave a welcoming feel. Dishes, cookware and silverware are provided. A full-size refrigerator is in the room. The bed that I used gave good sleep quality. Four pillows, two firm, two soft for your use. Plenty of outlets in the room for electronic use. For the most part, housekeeping did a great job. In the one incidence that this was not true, I spoke to the manager in the department and things were turned around. Night clerks are present which adds another layer of security. Cons- The gym has the basic set-up; treadmill, bike and elliptical machine along with weight equipment. The only negative is that the televisions that are attached to the equipment either didn’t work or worked on some and not others. A big screen television was in the room but I had to view it from the reflection of mirrors on the wall. Overall-I would use this location again in the future.
