Pictures looked good online but seeing it in real life much better. Very chic and started us off in a great frame of mind checking in here and being made so welcome. The room had sea views and was spotless. Normal size but good for 5 nights. Modern bathroom and towels nice and new looking. The food is better than you’re average hotel buffet. Lot’s of choices inc sushi and always very fresh. One slight down side is the pool area and sunbed situation, which gets busy early. It’s not a big space so you do need to get down early to reserve a good spot, but it’s a really nice place to chill with a cocktail. Bear in mind the beach is across the road so there is always that option too. Loved it here and well done to all the staff who do a great job.

Home today following a week at Iberostar Cristina. Travelling with my husband and two daughters aged 13 and 10 years. Booked with Jet2, decided to go all inclusive which I'm very pleased we did for two reasons - food varied and delicious and as we visited out of season not particularly a lot of choice for if we wanted to eat out locally. Staff at Iberostar work do hard. Particular thanks to Cesar the entertainment guy for making us feel welcome and showing us how to shoot (or not in may case)! All bar staff and waiters/waitresses were great but again in particular thank you to Daniel for his smiles and chat. Great team Iberostar. Would definitely recommend hiring bikes if able. We visited some beautiful nearby resorts and Palma. Such a beautiful historic city. Local buses although busy are another easy way to get about. Great location of hotel, 7 mins by taxi to and from airport and few minutes stroll to beautiful beach front. Rooms are clean and spacious. Cleaned daily. Love the hotels no use of single use plastics. Mini bar in room great for bottled water. Indoor pool nice and gym well equipped. Spa a little over priced I felt but other than that a fantastic holiday.

We stayed for a couple of nights on an all inclusive basis. After waiting a long while to check in (only one member of staff) we had a lovely side sea room on the 8th floor. The photo shows the view directly from the balcony of room 817. The room is basic although we had a premium room and this also included a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, a few drinks in the minibar and also a couple of robes. The hotel were very accommodating with extra pillows and blankets; you are provided with bare minimum of towels which I found particularly frustrating because two towels is not enough for two people. As any females reading this post will appreciate, you need two towels when washing your hair! The hotel is very comfortable, the all inclusive was ok but you can only opt for certain drinks. On one occasion I went for a cocktail but it was quite obviously the pre-prepared type. The barman went to into a room adjoining the bar, and came back in two seconds with an rather putrid take on a tequila sunrise! The breakfast was as expected and the dinner had a fine selection. The sky bar was not open, which was a shame, the weather may not have been ideal but people were still using the area. If I was to find fault it would be the wait to get a lift. There are three in total, two are very small and they are all in demand.

This hotel is presenting itself as a 5 star hotel, so I'm going to give you review of it as if it was a 5 star. It's not a 5 star. It's not event 4 star. The hotel is refurbished, but the the ways its run is a bit low for its rating. On arrival at 2.30pm our room was not ready and we had to wait until 3pm to actually go into the room The room is constructed weirdly. There is no privacy. The shower and the toilet are exposed to the rest of the room and the bath is in the middle of the room. There are 2 wash basins that are in a separate part of the room. So when you take a shower in a cubicle you have to walk out to actually get your towel or your clothes. Who came up with this stupid design? The walls are pretty thin and we could hear every detail of the conversation or tv next door. We opted for all inclusive. It's not all inclusive. Some drinks are not included and none of the food of the menu is included either. We found out the hard way when presented with a bill for our 'all inclusive' snack. You actually have to ask specifically for all inclusive things. Please be careful. Dinner service was a bit of a mess. The dining room was quite full when we showed up at 8.30, and the tables were either set up for 2 people or for 6+. There were 3 of us and we did have any space we had to actually ask someone to be seated at which point we were led to the very back of the place and they put 2 tables together for us. The food itself was disappointing. Small pots of food under heating lamps, oversalted well done beef and not much local stuff. Breakfast was the same - overcrowded room with not enough seats, understaffed with preparation staff and somewhat long lines to get cooked eggs and omelettes, bacon or pancakes. No coffee machines so you have to ask for coffee to be brought to you, but since there are not enough people there to serve, you are waiting for a while. The only bright spot was the a la carte restaurant for lunch and staff there. The seafood was great and we definitely enjoyed it. So it's not a 5 star hotel and they have long way to go to be a 5 star.

Well we came here as a family for a one night stay... i only gave 2 stars as the hotel looks nice and is ib a good location. firstly we were charged for a half board stay without our knowledge or requesting this and were only informed of this 20 mins prior to dinner being over. Food was ok very minimal. However after returning to the hotel flatter being on the beach all day I notice an ant on the night stand... thinking it was only one I carrying on however once a sat on the bed I noticed another and then many more by the 27th and throughout the room. Can you believe when I went down to reception he informed me that it was only one ant so I shouldn't worry about it. He called the manager and she informed him to spray the beds with extra strong insect killer and refused to change our room once I stated that I would like to check it for ants first. When I asked if we could have a refund and go to a different hotel he got so angry that another member of staff had to call him down and refused our refund. Please only book through booking sites so if this happens you can get a refund and leave where there is 1 ant there are hundreds and they are throughout the room and in the bed. Very disappointed in how this was dealt with.

Lovely adults only hotel. Beautifully positioned opposite the sea. All staff were very friendly and helpful. My husband was presented with a bottle of bubbly on his birthday. Excellent choice of food, huge variety. Definitely recommend. It might be an advantage to speak German but certainly not essential. Easy bus access to Palma. Great walking along the prom.

Stayed for 2 nights ...every where was a mess due to maintenance but worse the persons in charge doesn't even know a word in English More than that wifi from inside room cannot be available ...rooms are like from the 1980's style and need an immediate refurbishment The worst thing is that they had to tell us when we booked for the room that they where under refurbishment ...and you arrive and you find this mess You can judge for yourself :(((

We recently stayed here for a short break of four nights. We had a pleasant greeting on arrival complete with a glass of cava. The hotel is modern having been refurbished and is spotlessly clean throughout. Our room on the first floor was fitted with the latest technology and included a tastefully fitted bathroom, fridge, balcony, TV with mainstream UK channels and adjustable air con with heat settings. Wifi was excellent in our room and around the hotel public areas. The restaurant buffet served a wide variety of quality food and drinks at reasonable local prices. We chose to stay on a half board basis although all inclusive is an option during the winter season. This hotel and area of Mallorca is predominantly frequented by Germans with many bars following this trend. In fact, we were always approached in this language when out and about and also by some waiters in the hotel. Entertainment was likewise focused towards the majority of the residents, hence we only used the hotel bar on one quite cold evening. This was not a problem to us at this quiet time of year, when well over 60% of shops and bars had already shut down for winter, as there were still sufficient establishments open within a few minutes walk. Certainly we would recommend this hotel and Riu generally, having stayed in other Riu hotels previously.

Visited palma for a mini break, hotel was really good. Plenty of parking at the hotel and outside so if you’ve rented a car then no need to worry about parking. Booked a junior suite with pool view, really modern clean and big. We had a good size balcony with a partial sea view. The room was great with decent size bed, the only problem i had is that the duvet was not comfortable as it was not buttoned up. However everything else was amazing, we had stocked up fridge, good spacious room, over head shower with good pressure. Lovely big mirrors with two sinks. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, i just wished the indoor pools were open until little bit later than 8. Oh and the breakfast buffet was super!! Lots of different varieties. Very busy but the food was always stocked. Really enjoyed it. Everything was mostly all nearby, mini supermarket, petrol station, beach, restaurants. Nice area, as we went during the low season (9th-14th march) there was not too many crowds, places weren’t as packed during the summer. Overall loved the hotel!!

My friends and I had a lovely holiday here just last month. We booked three separate rooms, for four nights, and wish we had never left, what a wonderful place in such a good location. I personally love Spain, always have, always will, and Mallorca may be the most gorgeous of all places I have been in this country - and wow food! We each remarked on how large our rooms were, how well we slept, and the terraces are just fantastic. One massive positive remark is: its not just all drunk teens staying here, the other guests are elegant and they respect private space and it was quite calm and peaceful. I can only say good things, even with three of us staying here, three different opinions, we all can only say positives!!

Our stay at Hotel Roc Leo was excellent. We loved it. The room was wonderful, the food delicious and the staff always very helpful. We would recommend this excellent hotel to anyone. It is a superb place to stay to relax and enjoy Mallorca. Hiring a car was quick, easy and cheap and he car delivered within 10 minutes to the hotel from the office nearby. Frequent bus services will take you into Palma with a bus stop less than a minute's walk away. The food at the hotel is superb with a huge range of tasty choices. The room was gorgeous. We had one directly looking onto the pool and the Mediterranean beyond. You will find it hard to fault this hotel in any way.

Booked late holiday at THB El Cid for just a short break before winter. Very pleasantly surprised with the hotel and facilities. Room was adequate with plenty of wardrobe space and a generous balcony. Although it was only with a side sea view this really was just fine. Room service could have been slightly better as tea/coffee/sugar was not replenished every day. Would have also appreciated more than just one bottle of water. TV offered a few English channels (BBC 1 & 2) with others in English if you use the 'lang' button on the remote. Minor niggles aside, the hotel was spotless, meals far superior than in other 4 star hotels we have stayed in, with an outstanding and amazing variety of food. Every taste is catered for. Reception staff very helpful. If like me you prefer to sign for drinks and services just set up a credit facility with reception. A trip to the capitol Palma is really a must, turn right out of the hotel, cross over main road and walk just a few yards to catch a number 15 bus. It was just 1 euro 50 cents which for a 30 minute ride is good value! Plenty to do and see in the area, just across the road it's a surfers paradise. Overall a lovely short break.

not far from the airport. get the early flights from Liverpool or manchester and ive never been denied an early check in . book direct for a discount??? everything you need within a 5 minute stroll. no hills and the beach and promenade 1 minute walk, bus to palma and airport 1 min walk . big cheap supermarket 2 mins away. very few tourists and quiet for that reason but if you want a cheap quiet getaway then this is the place and the sea is still warm. sea view rooms basic but sizeable. im scoring this on value for money and location.

We stayed at the Amic Gala at the start and end of our trip, primarily due to its proximity to the airport and reasonable price. Our first stay was more positive - we had booked a standard double room and actually got an apartment style set up with 2 x bedrooms and 2 x bathrooms. It was very clean and comfortable and just what we needed after a delayed flight in to Palma, arriving at 3am. The 24 hr reception was great on this basis too. Our second stay was very disappointing. The room was much smaller with 2 x twin beds pushed together to make a double and smelled overwhelmingly of bleach. The smell was so strong that we requested to change rooms and the staff were very accommodating about this. We were upgraded to a much larger room with a king size bed, however there were lots of insects on the bathroom floor - not very inviting! On balance it was fine for a layover - it's just a 5 minute bus ride to the airport - but we wouldn't stay here again.
