Had a well-needed rest at this hotel on march 4. For a budget hotel I was impressed by the extravagantly stylised front lobby and awed by the inviting (Olympic sized!) swimming pool beckoning night-time bathers with sassy fluorescent lights. A few things I found “off” upon our late-night arrival (technically 3.am) but I’m a magnet for supernaturaI occurrences - I should have noted that we rolled in during what is commonly known as ‘The witching hour.” On our way to to park the car in the driveway entrance lobby we were stuck behind a feral looking, deathly pale man unloading belongings from a taxi. He sported a ragged leather trenchcoat and 90’s FUBU jeans hung low about his waist. He sweated profusely as he coaxed the withered husk of what was once a women in her 20’s out. Strands of matted, bleached blonde hair clung to her face and a spiderweb of mascara ran down her hollow cheeks . I’ll never forget the death-stare he gave as we asked him to let us through - massive veins bulging from the sides of his unevenly shaved head. Not long after this encounter, we ran into him again, this time in the lobby, but with a SHOTGUN wrapped in a bath towel, headed to the room it appeared they would be moving into. An uncommon sight in my world..though probably not in the sunshine state! It was unnerving when we found ourselves trapped once again behind Mickey And Mallory in the morning as they threatened the saintly, patient staff with violence over meagre ATM fees. What excitement -the air of dirty southern atmosphere.. how I enjoy a splash of local colour! We found the room spacious with all the amenities. I was intrigued to find clumps of human hair throughout our room and splotches of sticky soda stains. Fun to fantasize about the guests before me though - perhaps a stressed business woman working late..the love of my life in a messy hurry?! Breakfast was also ace: various selections of my favorite childhood cereals in miniature boxes, muffins, coffee and green tea. mmm!

This hotel totally met our need for a quick getaway to Pensacola. Found this property at a very reasonable price on Hotels.Com site. It is preferable to a nearby property where the other couple in our party stayed on their last visit. This hotel is located in an area with numerous car dealerships. It is not a glamorous area, but it feels safe, The accommodations were better than expected, The property is very clean and attractive. I agree with one reviewer that the bathroom had the smell of bleach upon entering. I would have preferred a more fragrant disinfectant, but that does not affect my overall opinion of the property as a great, reasonable place to stay. I would definitely stay here again.

From the time we walked into the room without lights to the time we left was the worst experience of my times of traveling. When we got to the room after checking in the lights didn't work. I had to go back to the front desk and get someone from maintenance to check it out, and he went to the room next to us and got light bulbs and put them in the lamps, but the main entrance light still didn't work. Still didn't work when we checked out! Then there was no toilet paper in the room, had to go back to the front desk. One of the beds in the room made noise every time you moved on it. No towels in the room and when we went BACK to the front desk we encountered the rudest lady ever!! She told us they didn't have any towels until house keeping came in and that would be 10am, but then they have to be washed, dried, and folded so it would be later than that. So we had to go to Walmart and buy towels to take a shower. The bathroom was filthy!!! There was used soap left in the tub, the fan had not been cleaned look like years, and there was no cover on it either. After my shower I tried to blow dry my hair and the hair dryer fell apart in my hand. The was front desk person at this time was not much help either. When I asked for the manager's name and number I was told he would be in on Monday I could just call the hotel. So, when I called to speak to RJ; he was just as rude as the lady on the morning before with the towels. I informed him of all the problems that I had and he refused to give me a refund. He informed me he would have the lady retrained with customer service and he would look into the rest of my complaints. I informed him I should have a refund and he asked me why. I informed him with all the problems we had i deserved a refund; he honestly asked what problems did I have right after I told him about all the problems. The room looked nothing like the pictures provided on the website. They are fake!!! STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS POSSIBLE!!!!

So I've been coming to Pensacola for many years and would never have thought I'd stay at this place as it is in a kind of gross area and has always looked a bit gross itself. But for this stay I was just passing through for a short night stay and saw it on Hotwire for 40 bucks all in, so I decided to roll the dice. Yes, the area was still gross and there was definitely a slightly scary feeling in the parking lot as I could just sense the shady stuff going on there. But the appearance of the place was better than expected and was cleaner and newer than I had prepared myself for. The parking lot looks like it was just repaved which really makes the place look better than it ever has. The room was quite clean. The bathroom and shower were fine. The TV worked well. The bed was okay. I did see a few shady looking characters walking around the place, but nobody bothered me at all. So I'll rate this place as an overall average because for 40 bucks I got what I'd consider an average stay worth about 40 bucks. If I'd paid more the rating would certainly be lower. I will consider staying here again in the future if I can get the same rate.

To whom it may concern: I stayed at Palm Court on April 5, 6, and 7 while in town vising my grandson in the Navy. I pulled down the bedspread to discover crumbs and a CONDOM wrapper. Under the bed was a container of half eaten food among other trash. The room had not been cleaned in a long time. There were dirty q-tips and toothpicks on the floor. The bathroom was a filthy mess. I couldn't stand the filth and asked for a room change. The Manager put me in a suite which at least had seen a vacuum. The shower only worked with cold water. Palm Court advertises a Continental breakfast. This Continental breakfast consisted of a coffee pot with a stack of Styrofoam cups. I had to stay the 3 nights, as there was nothing else available. On Monday morning, I couldn't wait to leave. I called my husband at 6:22am and announced "only 8 minutes until sunrise". Margie D.

I traveled down the street to the Courtyard Marriot. And that’s when I met the savoir of my trip. (Teresa Blue- Atwood) Not only did she find a place for us (Me and my 84-year-old Mom). She made sure we were well taken care of. My Daughter gave birth Wednesday 08/29 which is why we were hear in Pensacola. She made Us both feel like we were visiting a loved one’s home. Thank You So Much….. The room was perfect, The Hotel has been remodeled in the last year or so, they made us feel like we where staying with the Fun relatives that we all have in our families.

Would definitely give this hotel a 5 star, however, you can hear everything in hall, neighboring rooms and floor above. We slept on the second floor so the foot traffic above us could be heard. Everything else about this hotel was a five. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well. Check in was a breeze! I believe her name was Sandra - she had my room ready (early) and handed me my room cards when I walked up to the counter. She remembered my voice bc I called her from the VPS airport to see if I could check in early. She happily replied “sure ! We have a room ready!” Only stayed one night but would definitely recommend this hotel, just stay on the top floor if you don’t want foot traffic above your head...

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel everytime I stay I always stay over and it is worth it!a friendly housekeeping and front desk only negative things I would say is the housekeeper was banging in the door loudly on check out day and I have small kids but I found it frustrating cause I didn’t want her to wake them up. And also there was some confusion between the hotel and trip.com and we got treated unkind until it got sorted out that whole time we had no access to our room our things my kids were restless my husband was tired he worked all morning it was pretty cold treatment and then it got sorted out which was awesome and I appreciated her apologizing to me the next morning.

Long gone are those days where I enjoyed ”driving” across country 8-16hrs straight. As such, my intention to do a short drive of 3-4hrs turned out to be an imaginary remnant of thought after a slap of an 8hr drive reality that necessitated a late check-in. That's when those heavily cloud9 like pillows @ Townplace suites were calling my name! Given the late check-in, I found my recent experience w/ Marriott's Townplace suites - Pensacola to be fluid...the welcoming was warm and hospitable, my room was as per my Marriott profile preferences...and the bed and PILLOWS failed not in the least bit in its performance in giving me a goodnight 😴 sleep. Hats off... totally above par Townplace suites - Pensacola!

We traveled from Birmingham, Alabama last July for a Family Reunion. We booked our accommodations on line ahead of time. It gave a description of sheer elegance. Nothing was further from the truth. It had a microwave and fridge. We thought from pictures that we would have an extra that our others members would not have-microwave. The fridge did not work, no coffeemaker, poor plumbing and unlimited insects. Had I had to be there more than 2 nights I would have moved to another location. I deserve my money back. DO NOT EVEN BE FOOLED BY THE ADS....
