Hotels Near Mozzamo In Munich
0.3km from MozzamoNice and cosy little hotel in a quiet area but you can easily go to the city center by public transport -which is not far from the hotel. (Direct line tram 16 and 17 were perfect.). The hotel is well kept and what I saw on the website is what I got. Good choice of breakfast. Very helpful staff at the reception area from the very first day of the holiday (when we arrived a little bit early they made their best to accommodate us by preparing the room) until the last day of our holiday. Well done and thanks for making our stay a lovely experience.
0.4km from MozzamoThis was our 3rd visit to Laimer Hof and in the 4 years since we last visited found that nothing had really changed other than for the better. Its easily our favourite hotel in Munich and reading other reviews seems like others feel similarly. There is still the same genuine welcome and more importantly the same excellent service and attention to their guests. Sebastian and Alexandra and staff are the friendliest people and nothing is ever too much trouble. We sort of know our way around Munich well but we saw them giving help and advice on places to visit and transport to others (they can supply MVV tickets if required at reception). Rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and clean and although we had a room on the top floor, we enjoyed the exercise up the stairs. We have always loved the relaxed breakfast room and good choice of items. Interestingly whilst we were staying, they were replacing the restaurant floor and we had breakfast very intimately in the lounge area for a couple of days but they managed to cope with this and carried on with the same level of service. Whilst some may prefer noisy and impersonal city centre accommodation, we love the area at Laimer Hof. It’s a peaceful residential neighbourhood with an added bonus of Nymphenburg parkland a three-minute walk away through a side gate. No place has better transport than Munich and you can get to the central areas quickly and efficiently including the main station on very frequent trams 16 and 17 a five-minute walk away. The trams also go directly to the back of the Viktualienmarkt and close to the Marienplatz. Five minutes further walk takes you to the S Bahn at Laim with direct S1 link to the airport. In addition, there are some excellent restaurants within easy walking distance including a lovely Italian about 100 metres away and a good supermarket opposite the tram stop. Oh and the hotel is also great value. Sadly, as we were leaving the first cases of the Coronavirus were being reported in Germany and little did we know at the time how quickly and fiercely it would spread. Unfortunately, the hotel like most establishments in the tourist industry have been hit hard by cancellations. We desperately hope the family can get through the coming months and this super hotel can survive and re-establish itself in the better days ahead. We really look forward to our next visit as soon as we hopefully can.

1.29km from MozzamoI was in Munich for Bauma Show and had booked my hotel a bit late this one had some of the last room available in all Munich and at some kind of a ''reasonable price''. I did not have much expectations, but in the end I really enjoyed my stay. Super Clean, modern and comfortable. Further more the proximity to the Laim Train Station was a must 4 or 5 station from hauptbahnhof. Would/will definitely book again for a future stay in Munich.
1.29km from MozzamoChoosing this hotel ruined my vacation and hurt my back. The pathetic sofa bed that they provided parallels the type of bed that you would be subjected to while staying in prison. After a week of suffering, I kindly asked the front desk if it were possible to get a room with two beds rather than a bed and a sofa. The front desk refused to provide any sort of help and very rudely dismissed my issue, despite my being physically injured. The only excuse the could provide is that three adults in a room with two full beds is a "security issue," despite not having such a policy published. Terrible customer service. How three people using two beds is somehow safer than one bed and a torture device, is beyond me. I have visited Germany at least once a year for the past several years and have never had such a horrible hotel experience. Do not stay here. There are many hotels in Munich that are much more comfortable and accommodating to their guest. The housekeeping just moves stuff around and barley cleans. The first night the sheets were dirty and we had to ask the front desk to change them. The breakfast is basic and becomes unappealing the second day. If you don't like someone, book them a room here. I can safely say, I will never book a Holiday Inn hotel or any hotel within the IHG Hotel group again. Stay clear of here it is not worth it.

1.35km from MozzamoThis hotel was kinda confusing before booking it since it had some old picture here on TripAdvisor and other website but going by what reviews said that hotel it’s been remodeled I decided to book it. If you are coming from Airport you need to get off in Laim station and wall about 5 min. Hotel it’s on the second floor, it could be a little confusing for some people but it does have a huge sign that says hotel. Lobby staff was nice, we didn’t get the room right away because we got there too early but we were able to leave our bag to later checking. When we got to the room I found it very nice and modern like some pictures other travelers have posted it. Bed was very comfortable and the comforter was so soft that we didn’t want to wake up. They have in the same hotel breakfast buffet and it was very tasty, we liked it a lot. Only downside for me was the distance, I thought it was like walking distance to the city center but you actually have to take a train and get off after 4-5 stops to get to Marienplatz where all the attractions are located. If you do wanna be out of the whole touristic area , this hotel it’s ideal because it’s very quiet around.
1.58km from MozzamoAfter 5-8 minutes, turn to the subway station. Take 4 stops to the central station and turn U2 to the exhibition center. Downstairs is very big, most of the students come here. During the exhibition, there were quite a few exhibitors living here. The room was a small size in the European version, but it was enough. I live alone in a twin room, hahaha. Just another bed to put things. . Very good. Hit the airport for around 80 euros. Distressed company's transportation fee, there is no way to hold 2 exhibition boxes. If you have a long time, it is much cheaper to buy a subway ticket in the vicinity. .

1.95km from MozzamoI stayed here at Amalienburg for three nights in August, 2018. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are nicely arranged in some separate buildings. I had an upstairs room, and I thought it was very attractive and nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water and water pressure for my showers. The WiFi worked well. I was very comfortable in my guest room. This a is small hotel. From here it is about a one kilometer distance to the nearest S-train station (Obermenzing). That is your best way into the city of Munich, if you do not have your own car. Taxis do not normally come by this hotel, as it is not in a tourist or business area, but rather a residential area somewhat outside the core city. But the hotel is happy to call taxis for you. I wouldn't call this a suburban area, but as indicated above, it is outside the core or central city area. There are only two restaurants within reasonable walking distance, near the aforementioned S-train station. One is a Bavarian style restaurant with good food but spotty service; the other is a Greek place that was closed on holiday when I was here in August. There are two grocery stores nearby and a gas station that sells cold drinks and snacks. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet at the hotel, but it is fairly limited in variety. Certainly not a big buffet; however, I had plenty to eat. Staff here did a lot to assist me, such as provide me with ideas of places to see in the city and the best ways to get to them. They did not have laundry service but still made arrangements for my laundry to be done. I sensed a lot of hospitality from these folks. If you stay here, just ensure that the location will work for you and what it is you are in Munich to do. The hotel itself is a comfortable place to rest and refresh, and you might save some euros by staying outside of central Munich.
2.1km from MozzamoA chic, yet relaxed hotel in the west of Munich. As a trainer, I love giving seminars here, because the staff is accommodating, friendly and welcoming. They make me feel very at home and I could also absolutely imagine spending an enjoyable weekend there, in addition to my usual business trips.
2.12km from MozzamoI stayed here at the beginning of December for 3 nights. I really enjoyed this little hotel. The staff was very nice, the breakfast was great. The room was "small" by American standards but I don't mind that. That's one of the charms of Europe, plus, I spent very little time in the room. The unlimited bottled water was a very nice touch and the location was nice. It's a few stops on the subway to the city center, but it's a lot less crowded on this nice street. I enjoyed my stay!
2.17km from MozzamoThis is an oddball in terms of hotel style. The plus of this hotel is the nice staff ( some are nicer than others ), the location at a subway station and the general clean appearance of the hotel . The staff is very nice and friendly - although they are a little tight with amenities and additional charges and strict "2 PM check in". It feels a little old style German to me ( or not "upscale" ) . Funny thing is that everybody who works there is from a different country ( Colombia, Maledives ) but the common denominator is that they are all dressed in Bavarian style clothing. The decoration is modern Bavarian "Kitsch" , which won't win an architecture award for sure. Like with most European hotels in the mid range..the room is way too small with 2 twin size beds pushed together. TV looked old but ok. All German TV channels anyway. The bathroom is tiny and dysfunctional. The floor will be all wet after the shower etc...it is a bit far from the main station and museums but close to Octoberfest. In the immediate neighborhood there is nothing you wanna see as a tourist. They fixed their internet issues that were mentioned in previous reviews - at least I didnt have any issues at full occupancy during Octoberfest. Bottomline...I would go back, if this is the only reasonable hotel that has open rooms during Octoberfest....otherwise a hard sell...

2.17km from MozzamoSo i got to stay in the 'Living Hotel am Olympiapark by Derag" for just over a week and from the word go it was disappointing.. It started off very positive, the hotel is situated in a nice quiet area near the former Olympic Park, has a well Equipped Edeka contained within the complex and is a short Ubahn ride to the center of Munich. However the hotel fails to bring its A game, for a number of reasons. 1. General Appearance The hotel is based within what appears to be former Olympic Park accommodation.. and the reception and rooms appear to be original in this regard, I was however one of the more fortunate and was allocated a room that on first glance appeared to have been modernised fairly recently. The Rooms are all accessed via the dated entrance hall with reception being a cramped window on the right hand side. 2. The Rooms I was 'Fortunate' enough to have been allocated a room which from first glance had been refurbished recently, however on looking slightly closer this room was also in a poor state of repair, there was chipped paintwork, marked paint, damage to the bed and a serious case of black mould in the bathroom, the window had been painted shut, meaning the only option for fresh air was to open the balcony door, which was not convenient if you wanted to sleep with a window open. The bed was clearly an old mattress with a very thin duvet cover, the pillows had been hammered flat meaning my sleep most nights was very poor. The shower in the bathroom (Which was of good power) would occasionally flash RED HOT water during use. Housekeeping When I first arrived the room was acceptable.. however there was a strong organic smell coming from the toilet (Presumably the mould) there were marks on the walls and a rather suspect stain on the seat next to the Desk/Bedside Table. The room was also equiped with some 'Essentials' 2 Beers (One of which smashed on the floor as I opened the fridge door the first time) 2 Bottles of water, and around 1/8th of a small bottle of washing up liquid.. what a welcome. Breakfast I can only describe breakfast as random.. It was never the same any day. The first a usual selection of Sausages, bacon, eggs and a well stocked continental selection of meats, cheeses and yoghurt with fruit. The second day... Mozzarella Sticks, Egg Rolls and Apple Pie.. I kid you not. This was the last day I attended breakfast. So... the hotel could be something really excellent... but in the end it felt like a hotel being run by people that frankly had no idea how to run a hotel
Hotels Near Mozzamo In Munich Review
The location is very good, 5 minutes walk to the subway station, and the main attractions can also be reached on foot. Check in check out is very fast. The apartment has a cooking place and the room is spacious. The breakfast is quite rich, and many local specialties can be eaten at breakfast. The breakfast is long enough for you to taste slowly. There is no air conditioning, there is no problem in the autumn season, and I don’t know it in the summer. The fan is quite powerful.
This is a very cost-effective European hotel, the same price, better than the Marriott next door. First of all, the location is very convenient. It is 300 meters on foot from the subway station. The Lufthansa Express Bus at the airport is also at the entrance of the subway station. It can be 10 Euros from here to the airport, 15 minutes. The room was very good, I stayed in a superior room, but the facilities were great and new. There is a capsule coffee machine, there is a glass bottle of water (with a gas without a gas), there are bathrobe slippers, the towel is very thick. The room is very soundproof and the curtains are perfect. Room attendants are well trained and not as cold as most hotels. Book breakfast at the front desk for 26 Euros at check-in, which is a few dollars cheaper than direct signing. There are many kinds of fruits, a lot of fruits, and a handsome little brother will make you an egg roll.
Tulip inn is one of the many trade show hotels around the Munich messe. Located about 4km from the fair ground in a typical (there’s nothing going on but offices) industrial area. Directly located at the 94 highway thus easy accessible. Reception is understaffed and checking/ checkout might take a while. Rooms are pretty basic but clean (no neighbors noise!) breakfast is not to extensive but provides hot food and the typical bread and Cereals. To sum it up, not a place where you want to spend time with a family but a descend business facinity
Just stayed here for a few nights with the family. We opted for two rooms but where double beds were expected the rooms had two single beds put together. The bathroom was very clean and the showers worked a treat. There were very large TVs in each room and the beds were comfortable. Each room had plenty of storage space and each had air conditioning. We opted not to have breakfast, because the hotel was situated about 100 yards from the train station, so we went there instead. Breakfast here was about 20 Euros a head so we walked to the station for fresh food. As you leave the hotel and walked through the passage to the road, you turned right and the train station was right in front, just across the road. Staff were very friendly, there was free wifi and lifts to the rooms. Overall it was a nice place to stay and it was extremely well sited for trains and trams in and out of the city. Would stay here again, if only because it was so well situated being effectively just across the road from the train station.
We came 2 hours earlier than the check in time but were told that our room were ready. Tobias welcomes us at the check in and he was really friendly and welcoming. The hotel is quite new and about 8 minutes walk to the Station. It was quite fast to go to central Munich. Bed was comfortable and shower was good. Breakfast was a bit pricy at €19 per person per day, so we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel.
The location is excellent, but because of the recent construction near the Munich train station, the outside environment has a little impact, but the room is absolutely quiet and comfortable. We brought two children this time. There was no extra money for breakfast. The suites were arranged on the top floor and the scenery was beautiful. The rooms are fully equipped, all electronically controlled, very scientific and technological! PS: The hotel has a rich breakfast, especially the variety of fruits and high quality. There is also a bar that can make waffles by yourself. The children will make their own meals every day, especially happy.
