My Mum and I stayed here for four nights to visit the Christmas markets and enjoy some quality time. We booked a two bedroom apartment in this beautiful old building and it was perfect for our trip. We had a room each and enough space to relax and prepare our own simple meals. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Delphine and Christelle were particularly warm and helpful, and supported us during the recent French air strikes when our flight home was cancelled.

My husband and I stayed for one night in August during the heat wave. It was not a good experience but we can't blame the hotel for the heat as we had chosen a room without air conditioning. The room was very basic and what I would describe as 'tired' in need or a refurb. Breakfast was basic but adequate. However I was very upset after my visit to this hotel. I accidently left a necklace which had great sentimental value on the bedside cabinet. My husband rang the hotel and we were delighted when they said they would forward the necklace to an address in France at which we would be staying. Two weeks later we still had not received the necklace. We rang again and they said the necklace was still there and we asked that they send it straight away as we would be returning to England the following week.No necklace arrived. I then wrote a letter of complaint from England to the manager which was in English and also translated into French. I have not had the courtesy of a reply after a 3 week wait. I am really upset and don't know what else to do.

So, if you MUST come to Limoges, I would heartily suggest staying here. New purpose built place. Clean, fresh, modern. Staff were welcoming. Room was clean and of a decent size. If you think this is small, don’t ever stop in an Ibis in Versailles!!! The shower was modern, clean and good. The car park was secure and underground and of a good size. There is nothing to complain about at this hotel. If you think there is, I suggest you re-think your perspective. Did I mention the price?? Oh my word. It cost €48. Seriously, €48. You can’t get a sunbed in the south of France for that. Great find...and I take the credit for it, as some idiot tried to talk me out of it!!!!

This was a 2 night stay, followed, a few days later, by another one night stay. A lovely, friendly hotel. The lady on the reception desk was delightful and helped us to find the right locations to visit. The room was very clean and comfortable, with windows that opened ( not always found in hotels!) The breakfast was an additional cost but very good value compared with other places we have stayed. Overall, a delightful hotel and we shall certainly return.

Stayed one night at Hôtel Les Bénédictins and it was fantastic. The hotel is easy to find, as you exit the train straight take the stairs down to the right and over the road. It's opposite the glass bus stops. We had to call the owner when we arrived (around midday), but he was inside and opened up for us. He offered us room 1, which was right at the entrance and had a very comfortable double bed and huge bathroom. The owner spoke a little English, but we conversed in French. Breakfast was offered for an addition €6, however we decided to get food from the central market as we had an early train journey the next day. Everything was spotlessly clean, wifi was good. Nothing to complain about. The town centre is a 10-15 minute walk away, through the park opposite and down the roads. It's lovely to wander through with many historic buildings and nice shops. Lots of nice places to eat as well. We also took the bus (No.12 - not a local bus, more of a coach) to Oradour-sur-Glane, which departs from the train station.

Due to the recent fuel protests we decided to stay here the night before our morning flight the following day. We had the most expensive (87 euro at the time) 3 bed room on the ground floor with patio doors onto a conservatory. Check in was ok and the room appeared clean and modern although very bland....we then noticed that the bin in the bathroom hadn't been emptied and was full to overflowing. Pretty yuck! However the wifi was good and easy to log on to. There are absolutely no facilities at this hotel for food and drink in the evening, nothing, no kettle, no bar, not even a vending machine selling drinks, no way to buy so much as a bottle of water. That would have been fine had the airport been open but it was closing as we arrived. Then the cherry on the cake......the hotel restaurant situated at the airport is closed on a Saturday! We couldn't go anywhere else to eat, there isn't anywhere within walking distance and we had no car. When we checked out the lady on reception very kindly helped us to the airport with our luggage so that was a huge plus point and the reason for 3 stars! In conclusion, the hotel is ok for a one night stay but do bring a picnic basket if you intend to stay on a weekend night. Also you have to check out by 10 am and the airport doesn't open until 10.30 so you may have to stand outside for half an hour in the freezing cold.....like we did...sigh.

Had a very long drive coming back from Spain the young man at reception was perfect he provided a cup of tea as the blurb on the website said hot drinks were free (they aren't) and we had no change to pay for a drink. The room was adequate (not large) but the bed was very comfortable and we all slept like logs. The breakfast next morning was very good and they even had a table and chairs in reception so we could sit with our little dog for breakfast. We will be back next year on our way thorugh to Spain.

To be honest we had put the address of a rival hotel brand into the GPS on departing Cherbourg. On leaving the autoroute we were spoilt for choice, as there are around 6 budget hotels in the area, including B&B 1 & 2. We decided to give B&B 2 a try as it was 2 Euros cheaper - would love to know why? The reception was closed so we used the automated reception screen which was multi-lingual and easy to navigate. After payment you are provided with your room number and an entry code. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and reasonably sized. We were able to park outside the room which was useful. There were a lot of contractors using the hotel, but the sound insulation must have been good as we had very little sound from neighbouring rooms. I can't comment on the staff as we had no need to see anyone! We had a good dinner at the restaurant next door; and our breakfast from Lidl down the road. This chain will be our first option on our trip back from Italy in a few weeks.

Just spent one night there after a long and stressful drive. The hotel was very quiet and relaxing- not beside a busy road, yet a short walk from a large supermarket, and a beautiful lake you can walk around. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The restaurant was lovely, with a good and varied menu, and the food was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and informative.

Easy access from the motorway. Friendly, helpful reception. Very clean, comfortable bed with good quality linen. Abundant hot water in shower and good fluffy towels. Window opened as wide as you could want (once you release the safety catch). A really good restful overnight stop on the long journey south to Costa del Sol from Normandy. The hotel has loads of free parking and sits right next door to several restaurants offering different food choices, however, we chose to eat in the hotels restaurant and enjoyed a very good buffet at a reasonable price. I can definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Firstly we didn't get the room that we paid for and was advertised on their website.Unfortunately we had a terrible experience. On entering the room, it stank of body odour, and on further inspection it was clear the room hadn't been cleaned / or cleaned properly. We found several hairs in the bed and ripped threadbare bedding. Bedding was grey, and looked like it should of been updated / thrown out years ago, as well as the disgusting towels. Shower was also dirty. There was also other people's belongings under the bed. We told reception and he offered us another room which was just as bad, so we stayed where we were. Lights kept tripping and went of every few minutes. When in shower, this is highly dangerous, sliding all over the place to go out to put lights on again. WiFi was pathetic and basically non existent. We would of left the hotel if it wasn't so late, but decided to sleep in layers of clothing (as we couldn't use duvet as so dirty), during our broken, cold sleep, a fire alarm in the hotel went of after 1am in the morning. More disturbance especially when reception couldn't work out how to turn off. We have contacted the CEO of Ibis hoping for an explanation, but no reply as yet. This place needs closed down, renovated and management who give a dam before taking customers good money. No restaurant also on site, the one beside it has an aggressive owner and the food is frozen and disgusting.

The location is very good, the train station is diagonally opposite, the hotel has a parking lot, parking is convenient, but you need to pay another five dollars. Because it is a chain store (this brand is also available in China), the rooms are basically the same. No extra surprises, no dissatisfaction. Breakfast is also paid for 6.6 yuan per person. The variety is coffee, milk, hot, juice, bread, butter, cheese, croissants and fruit. The standard continental breakfast. In terms of local prices, although not rich, it is not bad.

This is a decent hotel. I have stayed in better hotels of this type and price range, but that's not to say there was anything particularly wrong with this one. The room was comfortable but very small - the shape of the rooms is irregular rather than rectangular, and there was basically just enough room to shuffle around the bed and into the bathroom and that was all. The bathroom was exceptionally tiny - the triangular shower stall so small that we had to stand half-in and half-out, with the shower running just over one shoulder at a time. The air conditioning worked well but was very noisy, and the bedside table-shelves were just big enough for a small book or a pair of spectacles, certainly not big enough to hold our CPAP machines. Breakfast was a decent buffet, with teas, coffees, juices, pastries, bread, jam, and yogurts, plus a few cereals. Parking was plentiful and the Wifi worked well. Negatives: there is no lift and the hotel is three stories high. And the weird irregular design may put some people off - there are two rooms behind each door, so if the person in the other room is inconsiderate you could have noise right outside your door as they come and go.

No-one would stay at this Premiere Classe for the view - it's next to a lorry park and the A20 autoroute. But it's easy to access, there are dining facilities nearby, and it's only three minutes off the autoroute. The automated check-in was straightforward and avoided Covid-19 risks. We arrived late but a staff member was thoughtful enough to phone us a couple of hours before arrival to give us the gate access code for the car park. The room is small but the bed comfortable, and cleaning standards were high. Efficient air con was a plus - day temperature had been around 32C - and there was lots of high pressure hot water in the shower in the micro-bathroom. Breakfast was no more than adequate - but for just 4.90 euros a head, what did we expect? Serve yourself, with limitless refills of juice and hot drinks. Unfortunately no fruits, just bread/pastry/cake options plus yogurts and spreads. There were tables outside as well as inside, which was nice and helped maintain social distancing. All in all, a good package for just under 50 euros for two adults plus dog (the facilities are pet-friendly and there's a bit of green space outside the grounds for dog walking).

Similar in concept to a non-refurbished Campanile (small shower, not very well lit), no kettle etc in the room. No obvious aircon in the room for summertime I was the first person into the dining room for dinner, asked for the dish of the day (as on two boards - by the dining room door and alongside my table) to be told "it's finished". I pointed to the board but it was not taken away. The rest of the menu wasn't very inspiring. It was clean, the water was hot, possibly worth the significantly lower price than the Campanile over the road, but let down by the professionalism and the restaurant.

The hotel is located in the heart of Lyon, just a 5 minute walk from the central square and shopping streets. There are a variety of specialty shops in the shopping street, big-name luxury jewelry and ZARA, HM, etc., although not comparable to the Paris store, the goods are all, but the basic models are available to meet the basic shopping needs. The most acclaimed hotel is the breakfast, on the top floor of the hotel, with a view of the Rhone River through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The breakfast is extremely rich, because it is the holiday season, breakfast is delayed until 11 o'clock, you can rest assured that you can take a nap and slowly enjoy a fine brunch.

Clean and spacious, booked a room with a living room, booking information is for three people, the sofa bed in the living room was opened and paved at the time of check-in, the balcony is also a large balcony connecting the living room to the bedroom, it is nice to have a kitchenette, walking near the hotel There is a slightly bigger Carrefour in 5 minutes. In the morning, my husband and the child did n’t get up to buy some juice, milk, bread, salad, etc. After all, it ’s not cheap to eat outside. It was learned that Lyon’s old town was very difficult to park, and it was specifically designed as a landmark hotel in the new city. This hotel can be seen from afar, but it is not easy to find the hotel entrance and parking lot by car. Because the nearby road is under construction, it took three laps to find the hotel's small entrance. The parking lot is large, 25 euros a day. The hotel lobby is on the 32nd floor and the room is above the 33rd floor. The view is good and has its own characteristics. The room is small, it is fan-shaped, and two adults with a child sleep very crowded. The sanitation is very good, quiet, carpeted, not ventilated, the shower floor is a bit slippery, there is no place to dry clothes. The hotel has a restaurant, dinner is good, service is good. There is no bustling old town nearby, and there is a large public car park next to the food city not far from the hotel.

We were looking for a good hotel which would serve as our stopover as we were driving to the South of France. We booked a night stay in this beautiful InterContinental Hotel. We arrived around noon and by accident drove directly to the hotel's garage. It was unclear if there was valet or if we could self park our car. As we did not get in to the garage, we were stuck there as the bell in the garage was rather complicated. We phoned the front desk and quickly someone helped park our car. The bellboy took our luggage and escorted us to the reception. We were quickly checked in and received a very nice upgrade to one of the beautiful Executive Duplex rooms with views over the river. The hotel itself is huge and is simply beautiful. There are many restaurants and shops in the premises and is located in the heart of Lyon, everything can be done by foot. Our room was very large and had a cosy seating area on the top level. Downstairs, there was a very comfortable bed and the bathroom with large walk in shower. The window in the room was floor to ceiling but probably hard to clean as there were some cobwebs on it. Staff were very helpful with a city map and recommending sights and restaurants nearby. Within walking distance, there are many good places to eat and shopping streets are very closeby.

The location of the hotel is really good. Downstairs is Sephora opposite Paris Spring, and then White Apple Square, but the hotel rooms are really too small, and then there is no bathtub. The hotel I booked was very expensive because at the time It ’s the Lyon Festival of Lights, so it ’s very expensive. It ’s usually not that expensive. If you judge this hotel by its value, it ’s not worth it. I think its value should be around 1,000 yuan. Simple is rude, because breakfast is not so good, but there are few juices that are not freshly squeezed for tea, and you have to make your own tea in bags. The hotel does not have any service at the front desk to check in, and it is not very fast, but it is generally okay. It is not worth 1,000 yuan or more for 1,000 yuan, thank you!
