Hotel is situated about 2-3km from the centre, however there is a tram across from the hotel which takes you to the centre in about 10/12 minutes. Currently all public transport is free. The hotel appears to be relatively new. Rooms are spacious and there is a small gym for use. We didn't eat in the hotel so cannot comment on food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

We, and many of the other attendees, used the new Mama Shelter hotel as a base for an Oxbridge reunion weekend. Although I expect high standards from any Accor Group hotel, we were still surprised by just how good this hotel was, particularly as staff quality always tends to be an issue in the GDL. Excellent basement parking, efficient (and welcoming) lifts, friendly service from reception, a well laid out room and bathroom, and a delicious breakfast all contributed to a pleasant stay. With a hectic weekend timetable, the simple access to and from the Mudam tram stop was much appreciated. Living little more than an hour's drive away, we rarely need to stay in Luxembourg but if the need arises again we will undoubtedly choose the Mama Shelter.

Ensure you head to the correct Novotel Suites! Initially checked into the wrong hotel, but soon rectified. Clean and modern room - the compact hidden compartments were fun. Loved the bathroom. 3 adults stayed with 1 x double bed plus 1 x rollaway, separated by a curtain so would suit a family. Service was good. Loved Luxumbourg - download their version of uber for cheap and easy taxi. Stayed June 2019

Very good hotel, a little road away from the tourist center, but the bus is very convenient at the door. Service was good, the two beauties at the front desk were particularly good. The room is not big, but the facilities are very good, the water is Evian water, the toiletries are Hermes, and the pile of water and drinks in the refrigerator are free. It feels great. There are not many varieties of breakfast but they are good. A very satisfying experience, living in Europe is the most satisfying one.

Hotel Vauban is smack bang in the centre of Luxembourg City, opposite the town hall (confusingly called Hotel de Ville!) so location is perfect. It is a small boutique hotel off the main shopping streets. It is a tiny reception but the greeting is very welcoming. The elevator is only accessible by going up some stairs to the first floor so obviously not wheelchair or mobility accessible. The room was recently redecorated and was a decent size for a city centre in an old building. The bed was very comfortable and quite large. There is a spacious wardrobe, a desk and multi language television. The bathroom is a bit dated but was clean. The shower was small but with plenty of hot water and fantastic water pressure. Breakfast is served in the small cafe downstairs beside the reception. It was a table service continental style. Fresh bread roll, ham, cheese, yogurt, croissants, jam and orange juice and various coffees. This is the perfect spot to base yourself while on a visit to the beautiful capital city of the Archduchy. Highly recommended

This hotel is very expensive, half price, but the location is super good. Remind everyone of two things, First, you can drive to the hotel entrance, but the navigation will be problematic. It should extend west of the highway ring outside the old city, from north to south (ie, Boulevard Royal to the south), turn left into Rue Nutre-Dame, 50 meters. Turn left into Rue Philippe II, cross two small streets, pass the Hermes Hermes store, turn right. Second, the hotel is mainly for luxury stores and downtown attractions, but all the businesses in the city (90%) are closed on Sundays, so try not to live in this hotel on Sunday, it is very boring.

Lovely hotel with really convenient location. It is well connected to the airport and the trim , bus which links to the train station. The hotel is well equipped with all nice facilities, high standard. Room is modern, spacious, clean and comfortable, the breakfast is nice too. All staffs are friendly. Special thanks to concierge, Mr James L, who gave us a lot of helps while we were staying in the hotel. With his really detail train and bus time table we had a wonderful and smooth journey visiting to Vianden castle. He helped us planned touring routine in the city even helped us booked table in a nice restaurant. These made us with unforgettable holiday staying in Luxembourg. Easy accessible only draw back is parking. Parking garage next to hotel and you pay around 34-38 euros per day. Street parking is there for free from 6pm -8am, all other hours paid, only thing is going back and forth with car, maybe would be valet parking, P+R or a deal with the parking garage. Hotelstaff is friendly, helpful and quick to respond. Our room 601 was spacious, nice outside view. Restaurant Mamacita is a recommendations for Mexican food and cocktails. Good hotel to visit with teenage kids

The first time I came to Luxembourg, I chose to stay in this hotel according to the comments of Ctrip users. It was a right choice. With the famous Grand Canyon of Luxembourg below the window, the hotel is close to the attractions such as Constitution Square and the Church of Our Lady. It's especially suitable for those who come to travel.

Excellent location for a visit of the lovely town Luxenburg. The hotel is located next to the city centre. You could walk to the centre but as public transport is free you can also take a bus. The hotel offers a paying parking space but the trainstation, 100 meters away, has a huge free parking. The rooms are very spacious. The restaurant is top class. One of the best meals we had in a long time. The staff are more than just helpfull. Every single one of them will go out of their way to assist you. We stayed two nights and planning to go back.

The Perrin is ideally situated in the outskirts of central Luxembourg city, which makes it a peaceful stay. We were very pleasantly welcomed by Gianni, who was attentive to our needs and suggested places to eat take away (because of the pandemic). Their choice of wine is exceptional and the bottles are of premium quality for the price. The bedding is nice and comfortable, and the beds feel very luxurious. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back.

Staff was kind, hotel was beautiful and clean, nice location. Parking was available and free. Pet friendly. Due to Valentine’s Day, it was packed, so it wasn’t so pleasant. The sauna and pool were really crowded. The pool was really cold, so we didn’t even stay that long time, because it wasn’t comfortable. Even thought I had an upgraded room, the breakfast wasn’t included, which was quite disappointing. I had to pay extra and it wasn’t cheap. The pillows were really small and not that comfortable.

The hotel is quite spacious, and sleeps very quietly at night. This is the one that must be booked in advance. I live in the same room on the first day with more than 1,000 rooms and 500 on the second day. I am extremely imbalanced and live near the hotel. , If you drive, you can take a look at the nearby towns, which are very beautiful. The hotel is very good overall 8.

Hotel check-in at the top of the mountain will give you hot chocolate biscuits 🍪nice. The hotel has a large parking lot, which costs 13.5 Euros / day, which is half cheaper than that of downtown hotels. I ordered a double bed room on the second floor. The room is quite large. Kettles, tea bags, coffee bags are free of charge, and other minibars are charged. Pay special attention to some candy biscuits on the side of the tea bag. It is easy to misunderstand free. The actual inside is not obvious. There are price tags to remind everyone to pay attention. No free mineral water is charged. Hotel breakfast is very good. Typical continental breakfast is full of coffee and tea. There is bus No. 12 near the hotel, which is very convenient for direct access to the urban area. Plus the bus is free, so choosing to park at the hotel and changing the bus is very convenient and comfortable. The free time of the bus is 2019.9-2020.5, which takes about 15 minutes. Pass the Chinese Embassy. The basic feeling is good. Parking, transportation, room facilities, breakfast are all available. The disadvantages are that there is no free mineral water, and there is no wet and dry separation in the bathroom and toilet (because of the hotel brand and price, you can expect this).

This hotel just opened in May 2021, it is very new and worth staying once. There is a coffee machine in the room and the bathrobes are also very nice. This grey series made us feel very relaxed. Breakfast is ok, standard European breakfast. The location is good, turn left for two minutes to the train station, this location is all five minutes. But there are also many homeless people around, so don't go out at night. The front desk service can't be complimented, just like that. The worst thing is that it's a bit noisy. Although it's next to the train station, from time to time the plane flies overhead. It feels like the windows are not the same. It's not at all soundproof. Definitely not recommended here.

I had a pleasant stay ❤️ here in september. The staff is very nice and helpful. Due to Corona they have som restrictions but everything was perfect. You can have your breakfast in the room or sit in the restaurant. You have to choose what you want from a list and the make a tray for you 👍 This hotel is near city centre. Not far to walk but you can also go by bus 🚍 no 5 or 6 to get there fast and easy. The public transport are free and it’s perfect to go from the airport and back as well. Just ask and you’ll get help 🙏 My room was very warm and a lot of noise from the traffic, if you can choose a room with view at the garden.

The hotel seems new, and has quite nice rooms. There are significant issues with the breakfast buffet, though. For starters, the room where it is served is way too small for a hotel this size. We arrived a bit after 9am and were told the breakfast room was full, so we decided to come back later. When we returned at 9.45, a long queue had formed in the small, poorly ventilated area outside the breakfast hall. Since we did not want to spend all day waiting, we went to the reception to ask if we could get a refund for the breakfast. The receptionist Julien spent no effort whatsoever to accommodate our request. He said this could only be decided by a manager, and that noone was available on Sunday. He blamed corona for the delays. We had been in quite a few hotels in Luxembourg the week before, and never experienced these kind of delays. In the end, we waited another half hour to finally access the buffet room. There it became clear the origin for the delays was the combination of a lack of staff and a tiny room. Corona measures were minimal: everyone just got a pair of gloves. Seating distance was way too close and the room was busy and poorly ventilated. Some guests were moving around without masks without any remarks from the staff. Of all the hotels we visited during our holidays, this was the only one where we did not feel secure. When we left the breakfast room at 10.55, people were still waiting outside. Oh, and the buffet itself was very mediocre: no scrambeled eggs or bacon, limited selection of bread and spreads.

Unfortunately, we were really disappointed with this hotel. We booked a Confort room and had requested a bathtub. When we got there, we were lead into the back building to a tired room that had been given an attempted facelift. It had some new, modern furniture, and a part-new paint job, but a very old bathroom (cracked tiles, a toilet seat-hinge missing), tatty older furniture (chairs loosing their textiles, door and wardrobe handles with paint chipping off, chips in the older wooden furniture) and a half-drunk sparkling water in the minibar for good measure. It just felt a bit horrible and dingy, and as we were staying for three nights, we decided to ask for a refund or another room. I'm not sure who we dealt with on reception, I assume it was the manager, but he was just really rude. He didn't really seem to believe us and didn't want to come and look at the room with us to see what we were talking about. He just got quite indignant about it and didn't want to work with us to fix the problem at all. We were being really calm and polite but he got quite flustered and annoyed. He refused to give us a refund but said he would show us another room. We decided to take the other room, despite the fact it didn't have a bath, only to realise later it was a lower room category - they didn't offer to refund the difference, and we didn't want to deal with this guy any further and put more bad feeling over our break. After that it was an OK stay. The rest of the staff were friendly and polite for the most part - particularly the chef, who was always very welcoming when you encountered him walking through the restaurant or bar. But I would summarise by saying that this hotel is pretty hit or miss. Personally, I wouldn't stay here again, but it makes a good budget option if you're only in town for a night or two, and you're not expecting a great level or service or decor.
