I had a $107 charge on my checking account and I do not remember making the reservation nor did I receive any email correspondence warning me that I was being expected there. When I called they advised me to contact Expedia. When Expedia called them, they told them I was out of luck. Thanks for the $107. This is likely why they are a 2 star hotel with terrible reviews. They are more interested in the short term money snatching than with the idea of creating any goodwill with guests.

|4.72km from city centerWe stay at Hilton properties across the country. We have stayed in Scottsdale for years. This was our first time in Tempe. We were thrilled with our stay. This was a first time traveling with my hubby on Peritoneal Dialysis. The portable machine flew with us but all do.unions- there were boxes and boxes were delivered directly to the hotel. When we arrived, the hotel staff had all the boxes in our suite. We had terrific communication with Maria, Sami Erin before and during our stay. What terrific ambassadors they are. The breakfast was lovely. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Carm was just wonderful. We love pool time. The pool was clean. Just wished there was bar service at the pool. We have already booked our next stay there.

I tried visiting the pool at 10 at night and at 7:50 in the morning. Also saw guests trying to use the pool after 8 in the morning without any luck. Perhaps the hours are such that it is unavailable a lot of the time which is annoying b/c that is one of the perks of the hotel and its enclosed so you'd think they'd keep that open. Also this particular location is not the best in that It's in a crappier area of town. Some shady characters walking around the outside. Was expecting better for the price but I have stayed at much worse hotels.

He answers his personal cell phone in front of guest while a line is in front of him. Annoyed when asked the amenities. And ultimately you are not treated like you are spending you’re money here for business but it’s like a bar or rude Mcdonald’s. I request his manager Steve which I can tell him and Donald are friends or in cahoots because neither cared and Steve attempted to justify his bad behavior by saying Donald was busy and he’ll talk to him. On the other hand Heavenly & Jenny were great I tipped Heavenly $10 and told her thanks for semi fixing this nightmare

Room was clean, quiet, and had all the amnenities that we needed. Nice dressing area and plenty of counter space in the bathroom. Small food area with microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Television had a great picture. Beds were comfy with plenty of room on the nightstand, charging stations, and a book light. Blinds closed to fully darken room for sleeping. Could not hear people in other rooms or in the hallway.

I would agree that the breakfast staff aren’t very friendly and it’s not well stocked but I think it’s because everyone has a kitchenette. They DO need to improve the breakfast. I talked to management and they said that they will relay my concerns and they were VERY nice about it. I have to say management and the front desk staff were amazing! Also when people say that you have to walk far from one end of the hotel to the other hotel. The doors to each hotel are literally on each side of the pool area so it’s not very far to walk and I had no problems with checking in at the other hotel. It’s also connected in the inside so you can walk from one hotel to the other without even going outside after you check in. It’s safe and locked and there’s staff close by. I kind of like the quietness of the hotel. The hot tub/pool area were great. There’s also a very nice workout room and laundry area which is helpful. Our room was clean and anything I needed they were quickly able to help us. I feel bad that the hotel has been getting so many negative reviews lately. I would definitely stay here again!

Even after asking for extra towels and coffee pods, the room attendant left us extras plus a nice notes wishing us a happy time at the wedding. The breakfast buffet was good each morning and the staff was very attentive. The food was hot and fresh. I really liked that you can also order off a menu and can sit on the dining area or bar. The lobby was a brood meeting place for happy hour after after the wedding. Lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the nice grounds.

|2.25km from city centerAll the rooms have now been renovated according to the cheerful front desk night attendant. We arrived very late from the airport, so were tired and got a good night’s sleep. Just a few remarks about the layout of the room. It’s great to have the sofa bed and a working/meal table plus a mini-fridge. However this leaves very little space to put your luggage and there is no dresser or closet, just a small pole at the far end of the room over a small luggage rack. I can just imagine the challenge for the couple who registered before us with 2 kids and 2 huge suitcases ! Also the bathroom entrance faces the bed and there is no door to shield the light from anybody sleeping in the bed at night. Another not so important little peeve of mine is you have to open the shower directly not through a lever when the water is warm enough, so you get a cold splash when you walk up in it to open the tap. The breakfast was decent enough, just like most hotels of this type, but everything was lukewarm, including the coffee, which was annoying. Finally, the breakfast room definitely had not been renovated and the furniture was a little worn or dirty. The elevators also made crinkly noises that made you wonder if you were going to get stuck. So all in all, it was still a good choice for a quick overnight stay after arriving at the airport (no shuttle after 10:00 p.m.) and the staff were very pleasant.

It was in a really nice location there is a market place 10 minutes away with so much to do it was really clean, the room almost looked like it had never been used as some appliances still had wrapping on them. Would choose this hotel again. Checkin was fast, employee even showed us the best way to get to our concert venue and reminded us about the free breakfast.

|1.85km from city centerOur 4-day stay here was well worth the price. The front desk staff were all exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which got our stay off to a positive start. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, although it is not a new property. The rooms are comfortable and pretty typical for a Comfort Inn. The price was reasonable, with a special 4-night promotional deal. Although there were no hot breakfast items because of Covid, there was a good variety of muffins, sweet rolls, and other items that made this breakfast buffet better than other similar hotels that we have stayed at recently. The wi-fi worked very well. The location is convenient, just north of ASU and off a 202 freeway exit. The only negative was traffic and airplane noise. The hotel is located close to a busy street, and also in the departure part of aircraft when they are taking off to the east. Perhaps there are rooms that are better shielded from the noise (our room faced north, on the 2nd floor). Other than the noise, our stay was comfortable and very enjoyable. Everything considered, we would stay here again.

Everyone was so nice and welcoming. We asked for a couple of things during our stay (mini lotion bottles, etc) and they were really friendly and helpful with those requests as well. We ate breakfast there every day and it was great and we had the dinner twice as well and it was really good as well. I was surprised by the amount of items available. I was really expecting more appetizers, but it was an actual dinner. Very impressed and will definitely stay again when in the area!

Says there was a club lounge. No idea if it's still open or not. I did not receive any of my status upgrades. This place is ok if you want to stay by the airport for a short stay. Room is outdated and old feeling. I stayed 3 days and not once was my room cleaned. And I also used the app to order some pillows and it was ignored. You have a wide variety of Marriott branded hotels in the area. Do you research and pick another!!

|3.19km from city centerWhen we checked in the nicest lady checked us in and said not to worry about all the fans and blocked off areas that they had a fire on the third floor yesterday. When we asked what the fire was caused by she said she didnt know but it was in a different area and they were cleared to be structurally sound. As we walked onto the floor every window was open and the floor reacked of smoke. It was so hot and humid and smelled like a Texas BBQ as the fire was on the same floor as they had us on. Serious safety concerns with air quality and safety with no disclosure of fire until we arrived at the hotel even though the fire was 24 hours earlier. Oh and btw still charging full price.

Had to stay here on a mission to help a family member this past summer, definitely not a vacation stay and this hotel suited our needs very well, with one exception, I'll get to that in a bit. First thing: we got in late on a Sunday night and I was really hungry, The woman working the front desk on Sunday June 27th 2021 went above and beyond to try and find food for us, even offering to go into the closed hotel kitchen to scrounge something up. Then she called several places until she found one open and helped negotiate the whole transaction, being very patient with me and my exhausted brain failures. When she did secure a food delivery, told me to go on up to the room and she would deal with the delivery driver. I've gotten less help at a 5 star hotel, this person seemed to have genuine concern for us and I failed completely in that I didn't tip her (so tired I forgot, sorry!) and didn't even get her name to mention her here. I assumed I'd see her again. Hope she somehow sees this review, so grateful for the help. Beyond that the hotel had a fantastic lobby, good clean modern design all over with cooler colors in the rooms, comfortable beds, good room layout, clean, nice bathroom. Very reasonably priced. We only had one problem in a week long stay, one night some very loud people stayed in the next room, at least 4 or 5 people going in and out all night and talking super loud. Couldn't figure out if the walls were really thin or if the people were just louder than average humans, probably both, but leaning on the people being especially loud. Given the proximity to the university, this type of thing is to be expected really, and I don't actually blame the hotel, it's just something to be aware of. The front desk were helpful in the matter in that they were willing to tell us those people weren't booked for another night, but if we continued to have problems we could let them know, so hotel staff did what they could. All in all for the very good price I was satisfied with our stay, it was nearly perfect for our needs and that Sunday night desk person was an absolute life saver.
