The hotel was in a great location away from the hustle off Thamel. The business owners on the street are all super chilled and friendly. One might when I could not sleep they stayed up chatting with me showing me the local music and made me a drink to help me sleep. Next time I come to Kathmandu, this is the only place I am going to stay. Prem Tamang and co, you are legends!

There are many European and American guests staying. The breakfast is a combination of Indian and Western styles. There is an outdoor dining area where you can smoke. The front desk is a bit small and not atmospheric. The hotel is listed as a four-star hotel. The hotel's service staff have very good attitudes and have no problem communicating in English at the front desk.

The best is not only the outlook of it, the hospitality is something that counts, the doorbell would run to help us when we had luggages to carry, with warm smiling face, those staff that serve us breakfast was very helpful, they made us like we were at home. The front desk was good too, and the manager was great, he was helpful to all our needs, and more important, not practical at all!
We were there for 3 visits, so we had tried 6 different rooms in this trip, all of them were good without complaint. We highly recomend this new hotel.

|3.56km from city centerWe looked for A hotel near the airport and assumed this would do. Upon arrival, the online price was lower than the price they offered at reception. After some back and forth we figured it out. The room smelled life a sewer pump was broken. I wanted to shower and there was no hot water. Called reception and they told me it took a little while for water to warm up. 20 min later the water was warm enough to shower but not nearly hot as I like to shower with hot water. Water pressure was meek and it took 20min to get the soap off my hair. Finally laid on a bed that was made of wood. Litterally no bounce on the mattress. The window pigeons made a cozy singing nest that was not compatible with our sleeping plans. I stayed because I was too exhausted to find a new hotel late in the evening but will never make that mistake again. On a positive note, the staff tried really hard to accommodate and was very friendly and attentive.

There was a man with a board with my name. He asked me for $25 dollars in front of the hotel driver saying it was for the taxi. It wasn’t at all. The hotel driver should have told me not to pay him!

Staffs are really helpfull, They know all the answers of my question. They even have a travel desk where you can book the trek and day tours. Oh let's not forget the restaurant they have.. |1.43km from city centerI stayed in Lemon Tree hotel in Paknajol, Thamel (not associated with the famous hotel chain of the same name) for 3 nights in June 2022. I booked a deluxe single room via MakeMyTrip. The room was small but perfect. It had everything one would need including wifi, hot shower, a spacious closet, neat and clean bedsheets and towels etc. Housekeeping came to the room daily to clean the bathroom and make the bed. They even replaced the perishable items like mineral water and bath soap. The hotel is situated in the tourist hotspot of Thamel but still a little distance away from the busy chaotic area near Narsing Chowk. No bars with loud music or dance clubs nearby. You can get a good night's sleep after a tiring day. Last but not the least, the staff were always polite and helpful - even while I woke them up in the middle of the night to open the gate. With discount the price of the room was less than 1000 INR a day, so it was complete value for money for me.

We were lucky to be there during Divali and Tijar and were invited to celebrate it with them. We had really great time dancing with locals and artists like dancers and singers. They placed us on chairs just in front of the show. The family is very caring and makes sure you have everything you need. My husband after the treck to Mont Everest BC lost some weight so the lady cooked for him two times bigger breakfast and took care of him as her own son. We traveled around Nepal for couple of weeks and we had the facility to leave our unnecessary extra lagguage there so we traveled very light. The rooms were clean and good for backpackers like us. We had also warm shower, towels and laundry service. The only concern we had was that the roads around were very dusty so we had to wear masks to move around. Hopefully they will put soon concrete there so it will make the place even more attractive for backpackers. Overall it was a great stay and we really recommend it. Thank so much!

It more than lived up to our expectations when we finally got back this year, and were able to stay. We had room 301 which is up at the level of a roof terrace, with fascinating views across Kathmandu and the locality directly round the hotel. The room and bathroom were clean, well equipped and comfortable. The decor of the hotel itself is stunning, echoing the monastery next door. Each day's breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of hot and cold foods. But what really makes this hotel even more delightful is the friendliness, welcome, and efficiency of the staff who are unfailingly polite and helpful, and never miss greeting you when you go out, or come back. Being so near Boudhanath Stupa, the hotel is an excellent base from which to explore the whole Boudha area which offers a fascinating mix of traditional and modern shops and businesses, as well as a number of monasteries which are well worth visiting. On a very practical level, but extraordinarily useful, there is a clothes line on the roof of the hotel where you can hang any washing to dry.

They say it's a new building, but I'm not sure.
The shower room is somewhat narrow.
However, the bedding was so comfortable that I slept well.
It's great because you can order and eat breakfast at any time that's convenient for you.
The staff are friendly and great.
It's small but great for the price
