We booked a loft apartment with 3 bedrooms, 1 shower with toilet & 1 toilet only rooms. The apartment is big & has modern furnishings. It was comfortable for up to 6 adults. We were met in the apartment for key handover & payment. It was within walking distance to the old town and there’s a mall with a supermarket within 10 mins walk. We like the apartment very much but one point to note is that there is no elevator in the building so it is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties.

Advantages: There is a parking space and parking is free. Good breakfast, rich, extra bed, suitable for children, late check out. Disadvantages: The swimming pool is cold and very small. The swimming pool writes water at a temperature of 27 degrees. In fact, it is impossible to swim with water. The Chinese room is low floor and has no nightwear. Foreigners have robe provided. Just checked out after a great 3 night stay at this hotel in Vilnius. This hotel has a modern decor, rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and tidy. It’s also situated in an ideal part of the city, as it’s only a 10-15 minute walk into old town, so you’re nearby but not constantly in the business of tourists and traffic. All staff that I came across were warm, friendly & helpful. Not all Ibis hotels are run like this (clean, organised, welcoming, etc.), so I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. They also had nice Christmas decorations in the lobby area. Thank you and hopefully see you again soon.

For travelers by car, the hotel is very conveniently located on Gelezineo Vilko gv. On this street (three lanes in each direction), locals rush so that it is not easy to drive into it from the hotel. Stoyana is free at the hotel. We just drove up and left the car where there was a place. Sometimes there are no free places, sometimes there are. The room was "standard" for two. Everything is clean. Entrance door on the cards. The windows overlooked the courtyard. The silence is absolute at night. In combination with a gorgeous, in our opinion, bed and pleasant linens, we slept for two nights as if they were killed. Due to the silence, one night, the opening of the central air conditioner was a little noisy, even though it was turned off. The room has: TV, table, one chair for two, two glass glasses, a minibar for the money. The hotel does not provide either a classic bar of soap or shampoo. In the shower, not a single shelf to shave, you need to put a razor and stuff just on the floor. Towels are enough. It seemed a bit distant to the city center on the map, but in fact it was normal walking, we walked several times. Breakfast in the restaurant is normal, no frills. There are two types of juice, decent coffee. At the reception, the young man does not speak Russian, and the girl, yes. In general, everything is decent.

We stayed here in March 2020 just prior to lockdown and really enjoyed our visit - we were greeted by the friendly staff who also cook tasty waffles for breakfast every morning. The hostel is brilliantly located just off of the Town Hall Square in beautiful Vilnius Old Town. The rooms were clean & comfortable and had a nice amount of space - we had a private double room with shared bathroom and basically had it all to ourselves. Access to some rooms are from a door a few steps from the main JJ's entrance. JJ's had a great, friendly vibe with quiz nights and is very sociable but also respectful to those who want to sleep to get the most out of their days. As for Vilnius we absolutely loved it - beautiful quaint little streets with spectacular architecture and everything is accessible by foot. We were also lucky to see and be part of the Lithuanian Independence Day celebrations. See our YouTube video's at Tide Knot Travellers to see more... Thanks for a great stay, see you again!

Hotel location is especially good! It is almost easy to walk to various attractions, very convenient! Although the hotel is not big, because of the historical precipitation, it feels great! I stayed just a night at the hotel. It was perfect. The front desk people were so friendly! Room was spotlessand the view was really nice. Breafast offered everything and some nice Lithuanian specialities too. Spa was nice, especially the pool. Saunas could be warmer though. However, this is a good place for business people. For tourists, bikes would be helpful. I am sure they have them for you!

Good location, right next to the church. Ordered it because it is a chain hotel and chose a balcony room for two nights. It is the best and most expensive hotel in the local Vilnius. Room facilities are ok, but not comparable to domestic Kempinski. But then temporarily need to continue to live another day, the original room can not be renewed and the hotel front desk said it was full. Booked on Ctrip, given it. Thanks to Ctrip. Please note in particular that the hotel gave a triangular attic-like room on the far side, reached out to open the roof skylight, and accidentally met when waking up. Because I only stayed one night, I didn't bother to toss. Please confirm the room type and price with Ctrip and the hotel. The pictures are clearly marked. If you have no special circumstances when booking, please do not book this room type. That's bad. If you run into it, you must jump up and scold it for such a low price / performance ratio.

Having stayed in Downtown Forest hostel once, whenever I go back to Vilnius I always choose this option. Lovely atmosphere, kind staff and great location are one of the main reasons, though I also choose it because it has amazing croissants for breakfast (chocolate ones), backyard is beautiful and it is perfect spot for getting a bit of work done while sipping wine. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for more authentic place to stay and appreciate nature.

It is best hotel in Vilnius and I mean it. It is not my first stay and I will be coming back again and again. Hotel team is exceptional - friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed which makes you feel relaxed. Thank you guys for your hard work but you make it look so easy. As the restaurant is part of their hotel now breakfast just wow! Perfect! Love the bar in the evening and the atmosphere there. Rooms absolutely great - clean and tidy, beds are comfortable and that’s all you need as I come to not to sit in my room all day but enjoy the city and places therefore room is never a first priority to me, but it has to be clean, pleasant decor and comfortable bed to fall a sleep and to start the next day and hotel Pacai ticks all the boxes for me personally. Stayed here for two nights. We were met by a very kind host at the reception. He gave us a lot of good information. Good room with a hot tub. The hotel area is just beautiful, and gives a feeling of luxury. We asked the reception to fix us a taxi in short notice, and they fixed it right away to fixed price we payed when we checked out. When we left, the receptionist gave us tips on how to get to Kauna International Airport in the best possible way. Great stay!

Location: very good! on the border of the Old City of Vilnius, in the former Jewish ghetto, along the #88 / 88N bus route - 15-20 minutes directly from the airport. So it is very easy easy to take a bus from the airport directly. Very short walking distance from the Halles Market, Gates of Dawn, Choraline synagogue and the main town square. Around 10 minute walk to the bus/train station (slightly uphill towards the station). Check in and check out: seamless Room: my room was 302, a single room on the top floor, accessible by a glass elevator. On entering, my room was comfortably warm with an easy to control thermostat. It was very modern and refurbished, and completely spotless. More than enough space for one person and bag, stocked minibar, desk, chair, hairdryer, and electrical sockets. There wasn't too much of a view (my room looked out to the main street and convenience kiosk), but had good noise insulation from the outside. However note that this room is quite near the lift and I could hear other guests talking loudly as they came out of the lifts from an evening out. Bathroom: very clean. Basic amenities provided. There was a handle shower and a rainforest shower too, but the rainforest shower wasn't working too well (the jet wasn't strong enough) if that is my only 'complaint'. There's a Belgian restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. Can't comment as I didn't try. Overall, a very very good value for money stay in a modern establishment!

Staying in Skapo Apartments feels like living in Vilnius as a local, rather than just visiting it as a tourist – it felt as if we were in our own home in the city. It is an ideal central location from which to explore Vilnius as it is within easy walking distance of all the main sites – Presidential Palace, Cathedral Square, Gediminas Tower, the Three Crosses, the University/ St John’s Tower (great views of the Old Town from the top), Uzupis, the Town Hall (Tourist Office), Gate of Dawn, etc, etc. 100 metres from Pilies St. with its numerous restaurants, pubs and a small convenience store if required. It was so convenient to return to during the day for a bite to eat or a short rest if one wanted to. We stayed here for five nights in a standard apartment that could sleep four – although there was only two of us. The apartment was full of character, a little quirky, but ideal for our requirements – clean, comfortable, spacious, a good size bedroom, lounge (where the second bed is located), bathroom, hallway and a small but well equipped kitchenette area. Mind you, if there was four staying in the apartment, I think there would have to be two meal sittings as the table was very small – I could not see four being able to sit together at the table. Also, there was no room safe, but I didn’t bother checking with the lady in reception to see if there was any safe keeping facility available. I booked directly with Skapo Apartments and in fact got it a bit cheaper than if I had booked with any of the various hotel booking websites. Also, as our flight was arriving at 23.00, I decided to book an airport transfer with the owner (€20), knowing that even with our late arrival, we would have no problems checking in to our apartment at that late hour. If you take the public transport from the airport, it is quite a distance to be dragging a suitcase from the bus station to Skapo Apartments as well as the difficulty of trying to locate Skapo St when not familiar with the city on first arrival, especially if your arrival time is late evening. I would recommend booking their transfer service just to be landed at the reception door. The lady who checked us in, while having very little English – but knew more English than I knew Lithuanian - was very friendly and helpful giving us a quick tour of our apartment at that late hour of the night. We had a late evening flight on our departure day, and there was no problem leaving our luggage in the reception area after check out, while we continued our sightseeing for the rest of the day. When there, we booked their transport service for our return to the airport – just makes life a bit easier. In short, Skapo Apartments provides a great base from which to explore Vilnius and I would happily recommend them for convenience and value and the fact that they are in a private and secured courtyard. If I was to return to Vilinius, that’s where I would stay again – I wouldn’t even look for anywhere else. Howe

Good location, very convenient to the old town, opposite the train station, there is McDonald's downstairs, 1 km from a big supermarket ~ basically the bus is passing here, very convenient ~ hotel booking is 18 square meters of room 6 days, after arriving, the waitress at the front desk gave a small room that could no longer be small. Two 26-inch suitcases could not be opened completely. They could only turn over from the bed~ Then immediately find the room to confirm the room~ The male waiter said that the rooms were all the same. After repeated requests, the room was changed. The room was quite large, but there should be no more than 18 square meters. The other is hygiene. The hotel’s hotel description said: The long room is not changed every day. Sheets, change for 3 days~ We stayed for 6 days and never changed! ! ! On the last morning, the waiter didn't knock the door, and I took the card and opened the room. I was changing clothes. . . Compared to the homestay, this should be a poor experience and the room does not provide drinking water.

The room is extremely small, they fit a double bed and a small table. The bathroom was done in the closet space, so there’s no place to put your things. The room gets pretty hot and some have a very small window, that if opened, can get quite noisy at night. We could have dealt with that but the staff and customer service was horrible! The reception works from 9h to 21h and closes for lunch from 12h to 14h! We were there for the Marathon and after a long run, we went out for dinner and forgot the only key the receptionist gave us inside the room. We knew they closed, but being tired, we only noticed it when we arrived back. We were very lucky to have friends staying there, otherwise, we would have had to book another hotel last minute. In their website, Booking.com and inside all the rooms, they display an emergency number we tried to reach for hours. And came to discover that it doesn't work for YEARS. So it's nonsense to advertise a service they definitely don't have. We had to sleep in the same room as our friends; 4 in a tiny room. When we addressed it to the receptionist Monica the next morning, she didn't care. Didn't ask what happened, where we slept and just said the phone number didn't exist anymore and that it wasn't their working hours. She even said the complaint could be done straight to Booking.com, not to her. Horrible customer service and for security reasons, they SHOULD have a way customers could contact them. People can lose their key, it can stop working or forget it inside the room as we did. It's fine to close the reception if you have a least of security service offered to the customers. I will never recommend it or stay there again.

If anyone has a doubt about staying here, just look at the list of VIP guests on the wall. It speaks for itself. Before travelling I heard this place described as "quirky,""and I really couldn't put it better myself. It's as eccentric as hell. The dizzying fusion of styles leaves you, well, dizzy. But my own holiday didn't go according to plan. About 24 hours after I arrived my guardian angel saw fit to hurl me down some steps, and I ended up with a badly torn muscle in my thigh. So I spent to bulk of my six night stay there propping up the lobby bar with Dmitrijus (Dima), and his colleagues Arturus and Vytautas. No problem. Sightseeing bores me nowadays, and I have happy memories of the hours spent under that gloriously vaulted ceiling. And there was a high point during my stay. It was on my 4th morning. I was enjoying breakfast and listening to the soft tinkle of the lift music playing gently in the background. Then suddenly, a loud American burst into the breakfast room in his bathrobe, announced to us all, (as if we cared), that he was "flying OUT", and gave staccato instructions to the staff about a breakfast that he wanted sent to his room without delay. This sent my imagination into overdrive. Was he the CIA's top man? Had he just received encoded instructions from his controller in Langley to fly to some little known trouble spot and save a million lives? To be perfectly honest, I rather doubted it. Most foreign nationals I know would rather die a grisly death than be saved by him. I gave him nought out of ten for style... Overall, yes, I have no hesitation in recommending the Stikliai, despite a few reservations about repair and maintenance in our room, about which I shall say no more. Yes, I was close to tears when I had to leave...

This was our first visit to Lithuania and as it was only a two day stay I was determined to see as much as possible as well as satisfy our business commitments. The Hotel Vilnia seemed to fit the bill just fine - it looked old and established and was close to the old town we were keen to explore. The building certainly is old - but I was really surprised how updated and smart the interior is. Turns out the hotel is only a couple of years old - commendably you don't knock down heritage structures in Vilnius - you reuse them. We had a corner balcony room - big, comfortable, high ceilings with all of the feature comforts. No complaints at all. Breakfast the first time round proved a little disappointing - we were admittedly late and replenishing everything from hot food to the cheese plate had been rather neglected. Next morning we were early - and the spread was impressive. There is a comfy bar area off the main entrance - ideal for a relaxing drink after walking all day - but I don't think lunch or dinner is served - not that we were bothered - there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The old town is worth a stroll but its not all that memorable - the chocolate shop at the start of the mall a magnet for tourists. Shame though the elderly lady serving takes such pleasure in being difficult. Watch out for the little shop selling linen in a lane on the left nearly - linen tea towels, tablecloths, scarves and dresses are a local specialty.

Located in the heart of Old Vilnius just two blocks from Cathedral Square. We stayed in a triple located in an old house with a large two person bed upstairs and a small single bed downstairs. Room also includes a refrigerator, sink and two burner stove, along with dishes and silverware. Beds were very comfortable and shower had plenty of hot water. Breakfast, which costs 6 euros per person, is good and filling -- consisting of orange juice, coffee, bread, jam, butter, yoghurt, cheese, meat, and oranges. The staff were very helpful -- especially when my husband lost his key one afternoon and needed to get a new one. Only minor concern is that the single bed is best for a child or small adult.

Just one word: excellent. We stay in the Grotthuss Suite and it was nearly perfect (the only thing to complain was little place in the bathroom for our three necessaries). Very elegant double room with a double bed and a sofa bed. Everything ok. Beautiful small garden in the yard, not so extended buffet for breakfast but with in fact everything we really need. Service warm and helpful (they offer you every morning the list of eggs and omelettes). Perfect the concierge. We don't know if we'll return to Vilnius. In this case, the hotel is already decided. Thank you, Grotthuss.

Our experience at 15th Avenue was generally a good one. The location of this hotel is the best element to it, without a shadow of a doubt. Set along Gediminas Avenue, it is a very short walk up to Vilnius Square and the Old Town after that. It is surrounded by a variety of amenities too. It is a design hotel with a clean and welcoming feel. Our twin room was reasonably spacious as twin bedrooms go. In it, we had a safe, wall-mounted television, decent wardrobe and walk-in shower. The bathroom is good and the shower was hot. We didn’t have issues with water. The beds themselves don’t have firm mattresses and are fairly bouncy. That’s fine with me but other guests may have another preference. One slight negative was the air conditioning unit. It didn’t seem to work properly no matter what we tried, so duding the nights we stayed, it was incredible warm and stuffy. It never appeared to manage the temperature which made for some uncomfortable conditions at times. The staff were relatively friendly and stored our luggage away on day one whilst we waited for our room to be made-up. Very good value for money, excellent setting with reasonable facilities. I’m satisfied with our stay at 15th Avenue.

I stayed with my family in August 2018 for a few days at the Hotel Zemaites in Vilnius. The hotel is located directly on a main road and is easy to reach, yet the traffic noise is limited. The Hotel Zemaites is definitely not a luxury hotel, but offers the basics: secured parking, Wi-Fi, clean room, decent bed, friendly staff and a serious / full breakfast. I would particularly like to highlight the services of the staff: communication problems did not arise, of course, the relevant staff speak fluent English. The enchanting Jolanta (she had night shift at the front desk) became really helpful when we got in trouble with the flight bookings for our way back: in this situation, Jolanta patiently provided us with information, internet access, and printouts for several hours. We even got a tablet computer after the batteries ran dry on our cell phones. My conclusion: anytime again this hotel.
