Our room was amazing!!! It was like an apartment with washer & dryer; huge bedroom and huge bathroom with 2 doors; full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dining area, large living room and balcony. We appreciated that the bedroom was away from the balcony since it was bike week - thousands of motorcycles cruising past the hotel. We were disappointed that the pools are only open to 9:00 p.m. Friends were staying at another hotel and their pools were open until 11:00 p.m. We had issues with the satellite feed which caused the living room TV unwatchable. 2 people attempted to fix it without any luck. Also disappointed in the limited bar and food options/hours. It would have been nice to be at the pool for a nightcap. The location was great and would definitely stay again if we return to Myrtle Beach.

We have so far really enjoyed our stay! The front desk has been attentive to our needs and the restaurant is very good! We eat lunch here everyday after our morning beach time. I really appreciate how kind the staff have been to my family, we feel very welcomed. Shout out to Shonta/AJ/Nas for going above and beyond! Also the water park is so worth it! It's hot so it's nice to have something to do with the kids instead of beach.

We stayed here one night while at Myrtle Beach. The accomodations were clean and all that we needed. The bed was comfortable. The location great for returning to Charleston for our flight. The staff, especially Kimberly who checked us in, were nice and friendly, helpful. Kimberly was able to make suggestions to help us plan our meals and activities. We would stay here again. Accomodations were basic, the price was right. We were totally happy.

Stayed at this hotel during a visit to Myrtle Beach to play a round of golf, and when in Myrtle Beach I usually book at this hotel. It is always excellent and a pleasure to stay there. The front desk staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is pretty modern and well-maintained. Parking is in an adjacent garage and is ~ $8.00/day. The hotel has 4 elevators so you very rarely have to wait. There's a restaurant, bar and coffee shop on the 2nd floor that are all very nice. All the amenities in the room are kept up very well, including linens, the TV, furniture and the bathrooms. There was no refrigerator in the room. The hotel, while close to the beach, Broadway, shops and restaurants is set off a few blocks from those things (not a short walk to the beach), but everything is closely accessible by car. All in all, this is a great hotel, is very comfortable, well run and is a pleasure to stay at when I'm in Myrtle Beach. Very well done, always very enjoyable stay!!

Excellent stay at Kingston Resorts, specifically unit 18C, which has been completely remolded. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, sleeps up to 8 and roomy! We stayed 6 nights and wished we could stay longer. Close walk to the private beach access and tou are able to use pools, spa, fitness center that are all within Kingston Resort. Owner of the condo thought about all your needs and you will feel at home while you stay. Everything was clean, tidy with a welcome pack. The patio is a great way to start your day with coffee or end your evening listening to the trees in the breeze. 145 acres to walk that are well maintained, shady and bridges over the ponds. Close to Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landings, Porayes Voyage, Carolina Opry and great offsite food. BOOK NOW! You will not be disappointed.

This resort is the most disrespectful business I've ever dealt with. Rented a two room suite for $5,000 for a week. Two parking passes are provided with this room, and we only had one car. So we rented a golf cart. The resort is not busy and there were in excess of 40 open spaces in the parking garage. There were two other golf carts parked in spaces when we checked in. I heard a knock on the door. I answer it to find AN ARMED SECURITY GUARD WITH HIS HAND ON HIS GUN. He accuses me of speeding in the parking garage (yes, in a golf cart) and angrily interrogates me asking if I have permission, while my 7 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IS STANDING BEHIND ME (clearly petrified by the man with the gun and what's going on). I tell him I have two parking passes and this is my second vehicle. He DEMANDS I follow him to the lobby that very moment (remember, he is armed and aggressive). We get to the elevator and one arrives, going UP. The armed guard gets in and I don't. He tells me to get in and I tell him no, that one is going up. He tells me "it's going down eventually, get in." Then he perp-walks me past a line at the front desk 15 people long and tells one of the desk agents to get Steve (the manager). Of course people are staring the whole time as the armed guard is right next to me as we wait. The manager comes out, who was courteous (unlike GI Joe, the power tripping security guard), and informs me that only "owners" are allowed to have golf carts and I have to move it to public parking across the street. Of course this discussion, though not aggressive, occurs right in the lobby in front of other guests, with the armed guard breathing down my neck, as if I'm some type of threat. The reason for my review is not because of the golf cart rule. It seems stupid, but it's their right to have stupid rules. The market can judge them, I don't have to (and based on the half empty parking garage in June, I'm guessing the market is already judging them). The reason for my review is the armed guard, forcing me from my room (in my swimming trunks, no less) in front of my 7 year old, and perp walking me thru a lobby full of people. Over parking a pink golf cart...A GOLF CART (in a half empty parking garage, no less)! And accusing me of speeding! (I was not speeding in a parking garage in pink golf cart that goes 19 mph with a running start on a flat street). That shouldn't happen at a $50/night motel, let alone a $5,000/week resort. Stay somewhere else where you're treated like a human, not a criminal. Absolutely disgusting. This is my 14th time staying at this resort. It will be my last.

After a 13+ hour drive, we stopped in here for a night; before checking into our resort the next day. The lobby was well-maintained, with a typical HGI design. Our check-in was quick and efficient. The front-desk person, Cindy, was friendly, welcoming and accommodating (as one would expect from a fellow Hoosier). Our room was clean, spacious and provided a wonderful respite after a long and tiring trip. The partially compensated breakfast, the following morning, was very good; and made for a satisfying start to the day. All and all, this location is a solid option, if one is seeking accommodations in the area.

This hotel was excellent and really nice! Some reviews made the place look bad, but the hotel was great. When we arrived, the check-in line was decently long, as it was 4PM (4:00 is when check-in starts.) The check-in was pretty fast. The lady was very nice. We asked for a room high up, and we were already assigned to the 15th floor in the Pinnacle Building, which was amazing. The hotel room keycards were wristbands, which is great, because you don’t have to worry about having your keycard in your wallet. Once we checked in, we looked for a parking spot. The parking lots are very small & tight, so its a mess trying to find a parking spot. Once we found a parking spot, we started carrying our luggage to our room. There is a walkway on the 2nd floor of the parking lot, and some stairs on the 3rd floor of the parking lot. The elevators are fast & clean. Our room was conveniently across the elevators. Once we entered the room, it was very clean. The beds were nicely made and comfortable. The bathroom was also clean, with clean towels. The small kitchen was also clean. The WiFi was great. The oceanfront view was amazing. You could see people parasailing and people on banana boats at times. The facility is clean, and the pools were warm and clean. The kiddie pool, though was a different story. People were throwing wipes with what looked like feces. And then, people were throwing paper plates & Kool-Aid pouches into the pool. But the staff cleaned it. The Compass Joe was very nice as it was on facility. Me & my family enjoyed The Crow’s Nest Restaurant. The waiter was very nice. It’s better than other hotel restaurants. We never tried the Compass Rose, but it did smell good from the outside. The location is great, as you are close to the Family Kingdom Amusement Park, & the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. The staff greets you when they see you, and hold the door for you. The staff also is seen cleaning the facility (taking the trash out, mopping the floor, etc.) Housekeeping for the whole room is by request, but they take out your towels & trash. They never came by for us, but we never needed housekeeping. Our experience was excellent for our first time staying at this resort. We may come back for our next stay!

Not to mention the location of the hotel, the beach is next to the sea, and the hotel itself has several swimming pools of different styles, suitable for children. The hotel is not far from the commercial area, and there are many fast food restaurants around. It is about a five-minute drive from the outlet, which is quite suitable for leisure vacation and parent-child travel. There are many parking spaces in the hotel, distributed in several different locations, but because of the high occupancy rate on the weekends, it is still a bit difficult to find parking spaces. Guests arriving at night can only stop by the hotel and move to the parking spaces the next morning. The hotel attendant will also call you to move the car. Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served at 7-10 o'clock. It is better than expected. The variety is very rich and the taste is very homely. It can basically meet the needs of people in different countries. The sea-view suite we lived on was on the 15th floor. The picture shows the view from the balcony. The building opposite is also the guest room of his house. The overall sanitary conditions and hardware configuration are good. Will choose this next time.

The staff here was really hit and miss because some of the concierge were friendly and accommodating and others were blatantly disrespectful and condescending. The only other pleasant staff were the valet, maids and staff member who came to set up the crib in our room. It is only because of the other polite staff members and comfortable beds that I am throwing in another star. The concierge we did have issues with would hand us bills with charges throughout our stay that we did not acquire and stated that we owed more than what was agreed-upon during check-in and we had to bring down several billing statements and have them corrected throughout our stay. They would promise certain discounts or deals for our rooms which toward the end of our stay another staff member would revoke by saying that the deal no longer applied even though it was agreed-upon when we checked in. They would then take off the charges for services or products we did not purchase or use and act like they were doing us a favor when in fact they should not have charged us for them in the first place. There were many loopholes to whatever discounts that they did offer later rendering them useless. On top of that some of the facilities including the hot tub was filthy, unkempt, and unusable. The breakfast was subpar with hardened or overcooked food which was disappointing considering the high price. Every time we would use the breakfast vouchers that we paid for, we would be over-charged automatically for things we never grabbed from the buffet and then told as a courtesy they wouldn’t charge us for the extra food (that we never took or ate). Thanks? Finally, there were live cockroaches in our room which for the high price of our stay and the constant overcharging seemed ridiculous to have to deal with.

Location was great. Right on the beach with good ocean view. The room was sufficient. The living area was large enough. The bathroom was ridiculously small, needed some maintenance like recaulking tub but the biggest issue was the door swings in so it is hard to maneuver inside. You have to open the door all the way, squeeze by the toilet and door then close the door to get to sink. I was impressed with the food at the restaurant. Everything we had, wings, pork belly tacos, brussel sprouts, hush puppies and Greek flatbread were all delicious. We had excellent service from Danny. He was awesome! If I was still in a position to hire people I would have recruited him to work for me! Beach chairs/umbrellas are setup in front of hotel on the beach. They are not associated with the hotel. It would be nice if there was an agreement to charge to your room.,.better yet make it a luxury of the resort fees. Speaking of Resort fees. RESORT FEES are ridiculous. Extra money paid for no services used. Just another way for the hotel to make a buck.

We only stayed here for one night. I had planned a few days in Myrtle Beach around my birthday-- and later added a day. So I found this hotel online and was pleased with its information, ratings, and price. We were quickly checked in by an extremely nice gentleman who seemed genuinely concerned about our satisfaction. When we went to the room, it was spacious as advertised and was very comfortable. The free breakfast was limited due to COVID precautions; but still had nice choices. We were very pleased with our stay and would gladly stay here again.

My family and I went here for a weekend getaway. When we checked in, the staff were rude and asked for everything possible, which I guess is understandable.. We got checked in and parked.. Went into the building to get to the elevator, ********* hits you right in the face.. Get in the elevator, the numbers on the wall when you get out are backwards. It said rooms 400-405 were to the left. Our was 405 and it was to the right! We got into the room, not the worst place(I mean there are shelters). The beds sleep so uncomfortably.. When I rolled over, a spring literally hit me in my behind. The ceiling was moist and leaked during the day.. The microwave was there but it only blew out cool air so of course we couldn't heat anything up in it.. the ONLY good thing about it was the scenery of the ocean and the beach..it was beautiful and my daughter liked it. It was oceanfront, ANOTHER good thing. We were able to get to the beach quick.. But the neighbors next door had a dog that barked all night and the people above us had kids who ran and jumped up and down all night.. So basically not much sleep. I wouldn't recommend this.. We asked for clean towels, since we were staying the entire weekend.. That Saturday we asked for more towels, about noon time.. As soon as we'd gotten back in from getting lunch.. The front desk staff, rude as crap, got on the radio to someone and said they'd bring them.. We didn't get them until 7pm. And that was only because we went to the office to see what the problem was..I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy..I know you have to stay somewhere but PLEASE stay elsewhere. This place sucks. WiFi doesn't work so don't even ask

We booked this a couple months ago via Priceline, they had the best deal. This Hampton/Hilton is AMAZING! Starting with the staff, you feel great the moment you check in. I was treated to fresh baked cookies , so you know that also left a lasting impression. Everyone is outgoing and pleasantly enthusiastic. The room is nice and very clean. The entire hotel is also clean and fresh. The free breakfast is delicious and also maintained by a couple EXCEPTIONAL ladies. They keep it stocked and clean. This is always such a nice treat. If you don't have time for breakfast, they also had some "happy kits" available on your exit, which were bagels kits in a bag ready to travel.....so sweet. I would highly recommend this hotel!!!

We stayed the end of may -the first week of June for 5 days. We stayed in an oceanfront double bed balcony suite on the 5th floor. (Also had other family on the 15th same room cat.)The hotel was ok. The rooms were ok but the beds were horrible! Lumpy and seemed to be there since they opened. One bed was broken when we arrived. It was leaning so much I couldn’t lay in it. Luckily there was only two of us so one slept on the pull out wall bed. There was no sleeper sofa as stated. So glad we didn’t plan more people in the room. The layout was different then pics. Also it was kinda dated. Clean but dated. The ac didn’t work hardly blew warmish air in the front part of the hotel room where the pull out bed and sofa were. The bedroom ac was cold. They were doing construction while there and the construction people blocked our ocean view a few times. Made lots of noise in the room next to us. We lost hot water a day and had to take cold showers. Over all the hotel was ok. Pools were great, but there was no water park as advertised as it was under construction. The view to the ocean from pool was nice! And from our balcony when it wasn’t obstructed. The beach was nice. The pool had some hula dancer entertainment a couple nights of the week. The one restaurant open had a small menu but decent food. The staff friendly. They do charge for parking which is across the street from hotel in a garage. Probably would not stay here again as the beds were horrible, broken and old. The other room our family was staying in was actually dirty with bloody or something resembling blood hand prints on shower door and beds horrible. But beautiful view from 15th floor. Also the kitchens in the suites are nice enough. We didn’t report any of this as we figured they could do nothing being they were u set construction and didn’t seem to be using all the rooms. If the hot water would have been more then a day I would have reported.

I booked this hotel through Sams Club Travel and Entertainment. Arrived at the hotel to see a very limited parking area. The parking garage is down a very steep hill under the hotel. Very closed spaced and you'll be lucky to leave without a door dinger in your vehicle. When I walked in I saw dirty upholstered chairs around a dirty table in the lounge area. Looking around I saw how run down the place is. The pool didn't look like anything I would want to swim in. It appeared unclean due to all of the stains. The place wreaked of the smell of *********. These rooms appear nice in the images that they give. I can tell you that the room that we had was a place that you wouldn't want to rest your head. My husband who is a disabled veteran couldn't even bare the sight and we all refused to stay there. The room was extremely small, very run down furniture, some pieces that were broken off, there are nail holes in the wall and the paint appears dirty looking. The bedding looked dirty because some portions of it were stained and some areas actually had what appeared as though food was on it. I saw spider webs hanging from the walls. The bathroom had rust marks, and hair on and around the sink area. It just didn't look clean. The patio was an extremely tiny triangular space that you couldn't even move about. It fit two tiny little chairs and tiny little table and that was it. They state that you can see the beach but you face another hotel. If you hang over the railing and look down between the two hotels, you can see a tiny little spec of the ocean. Do not go by the hotel images!!! Very deceptive in my opinion!!! We booked another hotel immediately and went down to tell the hotel desk clerks about the situation. This was definitely not fit for a disabled veteran with PTSD and neither for myself nor our son. The desk clerks at the Palette hotel told us that they understood our concerns and they would give us a full refund but we would have to contact the third party in which we booked because they would have to credit our credit card back the money. I contacted Sams Club Entertainment and Travel while we were at the hotel and they said that they would make this situation a priority and that within three hours we should see a refund. After we had left, it was a different story. We are going through so much aggravation with the refund. After the hotel clerks stated to us that they would process the refund, Sams club Travel and Entertainment stated that the hotel partner denied the refund twice. We contact the Palette hotel and the hotel clerks tell us that they will honor the refund and that it is Sams Club Travel and Entertainment that has not contacted them to begin the process so it's been a complete nightmare going back and forth numerous times and having nothing accomplished. Dealing with both parties has been so upsetting. Dealing with a bunch of generated emails rather than personal from Sams Club Travel and Entertainment has even been more unsettl
