|6.82km from city centerWe were visiting Mysore for a leisure family trip and had booked 3 Deluxe Rooms for 1 night at the hotel. We checked-in in the afternoon and were promptly allocated rooms on the third floor. Rooms were clean and spacious and the food at the hotel was tasty and pretty reasonably priced. That's where the positives end. The quality of bed linen was poor and had stains on them. The bathroom towels were also stained and one was even torn. The replacements were no better so we gave up considering its only for 1 night. You can understand when you see them serving water in the main restaurant in paper cups. One of the rooms lost power and no one came to attend for 30 mins even after repeated calls. It took then a good hour to get the issue resolved. By this time the food we had ordered got cold and they refused to reheat the same!! Then came the final nail in the coffin. They have a pub on the fourth floor which you find any mention of in any of the sites. The pub started blaring loud music and had terrible acoustics. Then the DJ night started and all hell broke loose, 2 floors below started shaking. If you were thinking of taking some rest after a tiring day, please forget about that in this hotel. I tried to sleep trying to ignore the noise but it was so load just couldn't sleep. The calls to reception kept conveniently being ignored and the volume kept rising. The staff was highly unprofessional and they kept promising the music will stop in 5 mins which never happened. The music was stopped only once the POLICE were called and they intervened way after 11 PM. After all this, the attitude of the staff was sorry sir, please understand we have a pub on 4th floor... WOW!!! Completely destroyed the whole evening and the trip for us. Hope this helps someone take an informed decision if planning to stay at this hotel.

|1.82km from city centerThis hotel has good and bad parts so I will list both separately. Bad: We were originally given room 110. Bathroom very tired, mould on the walls, very old fashioned water heater that takes 15 minutes to heat and would only run with one person showering before having to wait another 15 minutes for the water to heat for a second person. The smoke detector was so old and dusty we doubted it would work. We suspect it was over ten years old too and needed replacing. After raising our concerns to the manager he did offer to change our room. We swapped to a similar standard room. The bathroom in the second room was also old but fortunately did not have the mould. The bath was so flimsy that when you stood in it to shower it flexed. The check in was very slow. We had to wait 20 minutes for our room even though we arrived after the designated check in time. Other people were waiting too. No apology or reason was given. We suspect it was due to them only having one person to porter the suitcases. The service in the outdoor restaurant was slow. After seating it took an age before anyone came to take a drink order or offer a menu. The two men called Mahesh and Kumar were particularly rude in the first night. They both walked past us all evening totally ignoring us. They did not make eye contact, say hello or offer any help at all. They seemed more interested in setting up a group of tables than actually serving the guests. When the group arrived they couldn’t do enough for them, still ignoring us. Good: The grounds are beautiful, the outdoor seating in each room is nice . Food and beverage is reasonably priced. Location is very central although some noise from trains, traffic and the hotel next door. Bhindya in the restaurant was the best member of staff by far. So polite and helpful to everyone. She would make a much better restaurant manager than Kumar. The only time he showed any interest was when I asked him his name. He then became more attentive as I guess he knew I wasn’t impressed. Unfortunately too little too late. Conclusion: If you choose to come ask for a refurbished room. Staff restaurant needs better manager. Outdoor gardens and setting excellent.

|1.54km from city centerI have been travelling from last 20 yrs all over India but this was the worst experience I had, we were 10 people including a kid with 4 rooms booked and reached around 2330 hrs and to utter dismay found AC for two rooms not working, The night shift manager didn't do anything and was like ”do whatever you want I can't do anything, I cannot call any technician”. We came to know from the waiters that those ac's were already not working but they allotted it to us. We had to use extra beds in two rooms and adjust. On top of it these people didn't refund any amount to the travel advisor from where we booked the rooms. They informed us that the GM also didn't help. Putrid, horrible service,never opt for this hotel untill you are in dire need. The Only good thing about the hotel was the breakfast.

|2.51km from city centerWe've been to the Parklane Hotel ten times now. However, nothing is the same. Supervisor Mr. Harsha sir, housekeeping Kumarswamy, and his team are very helpful. Hats off to them, as they are trying to make the guests happy even though infrastructure sometimes does not permit that. The management is clueless. Only rooms are allotted; since my reservations were made through Goibibo, we could not use 2 of the 3 park view rooms due to the AC not working. Refunds are never permitted during check in as we were not happy with the room. Me, wife, father, In-laws had to sleep on the floor with kids in the first night, and the next day, two different rooms were provided. Mr. Harsha sir was kind enough to convince management to get a Rs 2000 refund as a token of apology (~10%) of the total booking amount for our bitter experience. Even if one calls them in advance and requests any specific things during check-in, like room preference, the same is not entertained. A magnificent hotel may have lost everything as a result of neglect. Attitude is good, but only when accompanied by quality. Please take money, but deliver quality. I miss my old Parklane and the old people here, whom I met nine times. Please avoid the 2nd floor room, even if given for free. Please check that the AC, hot water, bathroom equipment, and accessories are working fine before checking in. Please visit their sister concern, Rooftop open-air revolving restaurant High Park, which is awesome. Thank you, Harsha sir, and Kumar swamy sir, for trying to improve our experience with limited capacity.

The friendly and attentive staff made me feel at home- their genuine warmth was refreshing. The room itself was spacious and clean and it provided me with all the comfort and amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. The food served in the hotel’s rooftop restaurant was delicious. The menu was not extravagant but the quality and taste was excellent. My visit was not for tourism, but the hotel is located very close to Mysore’s major tourist attractions and access to public transport. Overall, I highly recommend the Heritage Inn, Mysore for travellers seeking a comfortable place to stay and at an unbelievably friendly budget. It’s the little things that make all the difference! Parking Very difficult to park in the basement due to limited space, parking is available on the main road and side roads. Room I had opted for a room which had 2 beds (1king bed + single bed). The king bed itself was very huge and can accomodate 2 adults and a kid easily. The room was very clean and very spacious. Other things like Towels, soaps etc etc were available. Food They don't have an in-house restaurant but they can arrange food from nearby restaurants. There are a few good restaurants within 1-2 kms radius. (Udupi Grace, The Crisp etc) Attractions All major attractions are within 3-5kms. Overall comfortable stay.

|3.46km from city centerI Stayed in a Club Room in this hotel for 1 night on 29th Sep. Booked through MMT and they charged me Rs.3350/- for 2 adults and 1 kid (aged 9 years). The hotel is located on the main road and is very close to Mysore Palace, Zoo, Railway Station and Bus Station. Check in Process was smooth and easy. Though we arrived an hour earlier than the Standard Check in time, the hotel staff helped us alloting the room immediately on reaching the hotel. Room is kept neat and clean. Though the staff doesn't look that professional as in a star hotel, they were very humble and cooperative. The Club room that we booked was a big sized room with King bed and can easily accommodate 2 Adults + 1 Kid. There room has a reading table and mini fridge as well. Wardrobe was quite big.Washroom was clean and decent in size with 24 hour running hot water. Additional mattress and towels were provided at no extra cost. We ordered dinner from Iftar restaurant that is attached to the hotel and the taste was average. (Ordered Tandoori Items, Chicken Biryani and Curd Rice). All the items were delivered within 20 mins from the order time and were served hot. The Prices are also reasonable when compared to other hotel (RRR) where we had our lunch. The check out process was smooth and it hardly took us less than a minute. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and recommend it for all family travelers visiting mysore. Concern: They don't offer breakfast in the package.

Room was good enough for us 2 adults and 2 kids with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. AC was working fine and toilet was absolutely clean. Towels and toiletries were provided as well as water bottles. Staff at reception, Bell boys, security, waiters all were very polite and helpful. Ample parking space near the hotel. Restaurant is small so they prefer serving breakfast in the room. Food was delivered hot and on time plus it was tasty. Location of the hotel is very close to many spots to visit. All in all a very pleasant stay.
