1.76km from Mytylschool the SprienkeWe have been coming back to the Katoen Brasserie for 4 years and usually stay at the hotel twice during the year. The rooms look as fresh today as when we first arrived. We particularly like the sympathetic restoration and the attention to detail. Unsurprisingly, the Katoen has become justifiably popular so booking is a must. The menu is varied and changes frequently and seasonally whilst keeping the favourites. The service is welcoming and genuine; in fact the staff really seem to enjoy being there. The kitchen is behind a glass wall and is spotless. The food is cooked to perfection with my favourite being the Tenderloin Steak (fillet) where the chef manages to give real flavour to what is a subtle dish. The Brassiere is a local favourite but even when full, the atmosphere is calm and standards are maintained. I know this is a glowing review but it’s well deserved.
