0.73km from Nachtwerk ClubMyself, my 3yo daughter and my parents stayed 5 nights in the family suite. The pictures do not do the family suite justice. There is a first bedroom on the entry floor that has 2 single beds and a small full bathroom. There is also a closet and little desk. Not a lot of space for large suitcases on the entry floor. A set of steps leads up to a second large open concept room with a sitting area (2 couches, a coffee table, fireplace and TV), with a first single bed near the stairs, a second single bed off to the side of the sitting area, and a double bed (or rather, a single large bed made by pushing two smaller individual beds together) partially separated from the others by natural beaming. The family suite is at the top of the hotel. That upper level has a stand-alone shower oddly positioned in the middle of the room with fogged glass doors and a sink next to the shower stall. A separate toilet room is on the other side of the room from the shower stall. More than ample space on the upper floor for our family's 2-week trip worth of luggage. Beds were super comfortable, lots of room to relax. I speak German but the staff spoke more than sufficient English. The only negatives are that the elevators do not take you to the floors you need. Like, the elevator goes to a landing between floors so that you either walk up a flight or down a flight to get to the halls with the rooms. Not very great when we arrived tired and late at night and then had to lug our 2-weeks worth of luggage up the stairs. Also, the water pressure was absolutely terrible and the wifi didn't work so well. This was part business trip, so having disrupted wifi wasn't the best. Despite all that, we'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Planning to go again in April as a matter of fact. As for location, this hotel is on a main roadway off the traditional tourist path. That's good for getting places as the tram runs right along the street and you can easily get to the Marienplatz and main train station. Also good for getting food and minor groceries (no microwave or fridge or coffee pot in the room, but we bought some produce and dry goods to make some meals in our rooms, like PB&J). It was not good for noise at night. The traffic is pretty steady through midnight and there are a number of eateries/bars nearby open very very late. But the noise didn't stop us from sleeping well. One last point - it is not air conditioned. But all the windows open and you can get a nice breeze. I would not stay here in the height of summer. But in fall when the nights get cool, it was perfect. There are many radiators in the room, so I'm sure in combination with the fireplace the room can be kept pretty warm. Even if not, the blankets provided are amazingly comfy and warm.
