Friendly and accommodating staff. Hotel was comfortable, safe and secure. Had everything you could need. No in-room safe but I had no issues. They did have loads of amenities at the front desk - Spare toothbrush, tea, coffee, comb, shaver etc. Just help yourself. Room had everything you could need. Desk, table, TV, Radio, alarm, phone, AC, great shower, shampoo, and bidet toilet. Room was very clean unless you checked under the bed. Location was perfect for my needs as I was visiting friends living nearby but bars and shops were just a 5-10 mins walk and train station about 15. 7/11 convenience store 2 minutes walk away and open late. I was very pleased with this hotel, good value for money and would definitely stay again.

It is a reasonable city hotel about 5 minutes walk from Nagano Station. It is an old-fashioned building, but it was very good with polite hospitality. Breakfast buffet was substantial and only delicious dishes for cheapness. It is a hotel that I want to stay when I want to save a little money.

The room is relatively large, but if two people are staying in a twin room, Ctrip's standard is not clear and it is easy to book a semi double, which is a bed less than 1.5 meters. The location is still a certain distance away from Nagano Station. Fortunately, it is tiring to walk over with ski equipment.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dot hostel. It's such a beautiful place with great vibes. Beautiful as in the old Japanese style building, and the decor inside, and the entire experience. The people working there are reeeaaally nice too!! It's also very close to zenkoji temple which is the biggest sight in Nagano city. There's also free breakfast! Will 100% come back and recommend to all coming travelers!!

Very comfortable 3 star hotel with 6 minute walk from the Jr. Station. The manager went to the extra effort of helping me with catching busses and even hand wrote options on a separate paper for me. Getting back from dinner I had a gift bag in my room with a keepsake from the hotel. The room had a fridge, kettle and a dressing gown and slippers for the onsen The onsen was clean and well appointed on the second floor with a sauna, hot bath and cold dipping bath. Very invigorating after a day's skiing! The Japanese breakfast the next day was delicious and with plenty of variety. Sadly the coffee was not to my liking and could be improved. Value hotel and customer service was what you would find in a hotel costing much more. For a great sleep ask for a floor up high..8th..and I certainly appreciated the view and the option to open the window for fresh air by which to sleep. Highly recommended......

Very quiet neighbourhood at night, calm in the moonlight. You can experience the monk's work schedule. Closed at 9pm and 6am, you can go to the early morning class of Shanguang Temple. The condition is simple but sleeps well. The public bathroom is small but adequate. Close to the long commercial street in front of the temple, there are many exquisite shops and characteristic restaurants, coffee shops and tea shops. Recommend a nearby restaurant called Yayoi, delicious. Taxi is about 1,200 yen to Nagano Station, walks for 20 minutes without luggage, and looks like a few bus stops.

I stayed here for 4 nights in November and booked it because it's close to the station. It was also quite cheap (£180 for the 4 nights). The welcome was warm on arrival and every time I went in or out. They knew who I was...never had to give my name or room number. Was probably the only gaijin staying at that time. My room was small as I expected and the bed was comfortable. It had a window that opened but since I appeared to be in the path of a kitchen extractor fan I didn't open it as it stank my room out and it was really noisy. The room was clean but very worn and dated. Everything in the hotel was seriously worn out...really rough around the edges. There was a free breakfast provided, but it finished early so I never made it down in time (I was on holiday after all). If I were in Nagano again, I might stay again but would look at other options first.

I made a reservation on a certain site. It seems that it is rejected by writing the kuchikomi honestly, and it adopts only the good thing, and the kuchikomi of the site is not applicable, but this site is also a bad evaluation word of mouth, so it is a reference. It is a luxury hotel and I booked for the purpose of hotel stay, but the South Building is a business hotel. There is no luxury feeling at all. 14 Time Check-in 12 Time check-out, there are many businessmen, so there were doors opening and closing sounds and sounds at night and in the morning, but other times were quiet, but the sound of construction outside, eventually, I didn't calm down. Breakfast is a set of Japanese or Western food. You can choose. I made western food. It may be good quality, but there are few types and if you don't change bread, you didn't get full. I was trying to explore the hotel, but there was no guide booklet in the building and I didn't. I was doing any hotel, there was no temperature check (forgotten?). There are few places where disinfectant is located. It would be good to be near the elevator, but I had to go to the entrance. GOTO It was a stop period, but it was a hotel that I wanted to stay before, so I booked, but it was only a pity that it was not suitable for the amount, and only the amount of breakfast was high-end. The good thing was that you saw it on TV, and I watched the storm concert.

I used it in the zenko Ji Temple gokaicho. The location was easy to access between zenko Ji Temple and Nagano station. I arrived earlier than check-in time, but I was able to keep my luggage in advance. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. I also passed the check-out time by buying souvenirs on my return, but the extension fee was serviced. I would like to use it this time when I come by golf. Thank you for your pleasant service! Please continue to cherish the connection between people and people.

Single room with small bed. Japanese hotel rooms are small but clean. Right in front of Nagano Station, I forgot which exit, but I can see it in the station, and I can check out before leaving. The surroundings are all eaten and everything is convenient. The first station hotel in Japan, you don't have to drag your luggage to find the hotel when you get off the train.

I walked a little from Nagano Station, but I was not hard to walk, so it was acceptable. It was the use only for accommodation without rice. There is no curfew, and there is a 24h Denny's and convenience store nearby. Amenities include room clothes, toothbrush, razor, comb, recess, pot and refrigerator. I thought it was unusual and interesting to see YouTube on TV in the room. The hotel is very beautiful. I would like to use it if there is another opportunity.

Budget motel with little service or hospitality, not catered for foreigners. Key points that make up my rating: - Staff attitude is poor from start of check in, right through. Basically got given room key and left. No explaination of facilites etc. Got to room there was on english instruction for things like wi-fi, aircon, safe deposit box. Rang reception and told to check instructions on TV screen which were so hard to navigate. - Room is so tiny. Bare minimum facitities. Place is little dated and could do with a refurb. Cleanliness was ok. No drinking water in room, you have to go down to lobby and self service. - Location is good. Opposite train station about 3-5 mins walk. Nagano itself has not much attrations if you are not into going skiing. But thats not to do with this establishment. - I saw a lot of locals business men coming and going. So I get the feel this is a place for local who come from out of town to do business. Perhaps if you are stopping a night or so before heading to a skii place or something then this might be suitable for just a room at a cheap price to get you by for the night. Considering we paid around $24000yen for 3 nights, it was ok. Can't expect too much for that price.

I stayed at Dormy Inn in Nagano for the first time. Although it is close to the station, there are many one-way streets, and it was quite difficult to go by car. The rooms and services are stable dormy inn. The free gold barley and free night crying soba were delicious. We used it because it was a new guest house. The interior is new and clean, close to the station and facing the approach, so there is a little distance, but it is easy to go to Zenko Ji Temple. It was clean and cool at first glance, but there were several scenes where cleaning and construction felt a little hard to use. I think it has not been much time since it opened, but the ventilation fan of the bath was already black, and the toaster was also full of bread and scorched. There was only a small type of refrigerator, and I couldn't always put one drink full. 1 I think it is recommended to use the cafe on the floor and the surrounding restaurants, but the space to eat the things brought was only 4 seats, and the timing was not suitable and it was not available. Therefore, I checked the time when the brought in at the 1 floor cafe was able to eat and eat, and I ate one baked confectionery in that time. I was asked by the staff because there were other cafe guests. Breakfast was eating what you brought in at the cafe on the 1 floor. Also, the lighting was dark in the evening (the time when the cafe is open?), and it was a very loud sound with music and a nice atmosphere. The reading lights in the bed were dark, so it was a little difficult to secure a place to read guidebooks and so on. The location is good and the large hostel is easy to enter and exit the building. The room with the bed was also sufficient, the space under the bed was large, and there was a large personal locker at the entrance, which was very convenient. I think it is good to divide it because the price is cheap and it is easy for staying. I want to use it again.

The shukubo kyoi is an inn located in togakushi, Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture. It was originally built in 1815 at the temple's shukubo and is designated as a registered tangible cultural property of Japan. This day I visited Togakushi Jinja shrine on October 20, 2020. From there, I came to the shukubo. It is red leaves. It is heavy entrance. There is a visiting place when entering. This time, I was able to stay cheaply because I used the GOTO campaign. Check in and go to the room. This time it is a Japanese room. The old beam is bare. I was going to ask for a room with a toilet, but I was mistaken for a room without a toilet (sweat;) I decided to go to dinner, but I was afraid to hit my head on the stairs. The dinner hall is a visitor. The menu of this day. Fish Wheel baking. Yuba pot. Sakura. And Togakusoba. Togakusoba is one of the three major Japanese soba. It was properly served with ”bochiri”. Dessert is fruit. The next morning, I participate in Shinto rituals. This room is western style with lighting and it is interesting to be eclectic in the Japanese and Western style. Shinto ritual was photography OK. This is rare because it is impossible to shoot. Shinto rituals are over and go to the restaurant in the breakfast hall. The menu is like this. After the meal, I looked for a souvenir corner. Check out and went ahead. It is a heavy building. Only that is, the facilities are old. It was a fatal mistake that there was no toilet in the room. I should have checked better. The meal was very delicious and the volume was just good. The morning work is also pleasant. I was lucky to stay at a cheap price on goto travel.

I stayed for 2 nights on a business trip. On the night you arrive by car, if you stop at the corner of the entrance and drop your luggage so as not to disturb other people, it is not a hotel-owned bus, but bother through our car sledge I have entered. Door mirrors and we were in danger! ! When I told the front desk, I said that I would be careful if I contacted the bus company. What was disappointing for the hotel was that there were few types of side dishes for breakfast, the taste was not so delicious, and the menu was the same for both days!

Located less than 10 minutes from Nagano Station, there are seven eleven family Marosson if you walk a little, and the location is very good. The building itself is a type of history. The room I stayed in was a room with a bed occupying most of the beds with about 4 tatami mats. It may be so if you say it is small, but it did not become a particularly negative element considering access and price. Good point. The response of the customer service, including the uncle of the receptionist, was good. The room itself felt the age It was clean and nice because it was well maintained. The Oyaki shop in front of you is very delicious! Recommended are two types of soba and shiitake. I'm a little worried. Amenities such as shampoo toothpaste are all available, but I used a small towel because there was no sponge to wash my body. Then, I feel like I wanted the second small towel because there is only one bath towel. and personally, from the light of the electric lamp When I went to bed, I wanted to take the light outside in the morning. When I opened the window, I could see it from the front building, so I was a little sorry there. Comments not a hundred points. Also, it was a place to stay that I thought I would take care of when I was at Nagano station. I couldn't go because of time. I want to try the cafe on the first floor next time.
