      It must have been nice one day. It is today Dirty (mattress stains, shower soil, etc), terrible wifi, slow check out (they take more than the full amount for your stay, in advance, by credit card and then reimburse you the difference in cash, not on the card!). Check out seemed to be done by 3 pax in panic (hotel was empty), as if they never checked out anyone before. Rooms are huge. I had a suite, but bedroom has no windows. They are particularly noisy at every level. You will be awaken by street noise. Oh, and room service will knock and come in for no real reason. Better get a foreign chain hotel with international standards service.

      The location of the hotel is good, near the National Museum and Punjia University. However, due to the unskilled staff, I waited for almost an hour when I checked in. It was mainly because I paid for it on Ctrip, and he couldn't understand it. Secondly, no one asked me if I need to clean the room after I stayed for three days. There are no disposable slippers and toothbrushes in the room, so I need to call the front desk to send them. The traffic is OK, the hotel can help to call the car, but it is best to pay the driver yourself, because the hotel will let you pay the fare directly at the hotel, and will add 20-30 yuan for the extra fee.

      Apologies do not matter, nor do they count if the issue is repetitive, constant and never ending. I am finally writing a review on the Moor because I feel other people really need to know that the staff along with the general manager do not take complaints seriously. I won’t get into the chronological unforgettably unfortunate series of events, but I will quickly try to brush up on all the reasons why The Heritage Suites Moor is not a family friendly hotel to stay at. -Be ready to stay awake all night long because the people staying next door to you will not be stopped from partying till 6am in the morning through out their stay just because they are “old customers of 8 years”. The guests next door will be allowed to yell, scream, play music at high volumes, break bottles, move furniture around so you can hear the screeching of the furniture legs against the floor. -Be ready to make complaints and not be taken seriously because you’re a female; hence, not part of the patriarchy of “the rich and reckless” who are staying at the hotel and can do whatever they please -Be ready to go for breakfast downstairs in the patio at 7am in the morning to witness a drugged out individual laying on the couch and vomiting, while the staff pretends to ignore the situation and refuses to apologize for such a sight -Be ready to have a drunken male constantly knock on your door at 3am in the morning asking you to open the door. And when you complain, they just say it’s not in their control or they make excuses about how it’s “an old loyal client” -Be ready to not be taken seriously at all when you voice out your concerns and demand compensation of at least 50% after spending over 2.6lakh PKR for such horrid experiences through out your stay. Initially, I stayed in The Moor in 2012 with family, and since they were a new hotel, their level of service was exceptional. Due to my experience in 2012, I decided to stay at the Moor in Feb. 2020, but their level of hospitality had decreased beyond belief. They apologized and asked me to give them another chance. They promised that I wouldn’t have any reason to complain on my next stay. So in Jan. 2021, I decided to take their word at value and gave them the benefit of doubt. I booked the hotel for a whole month by giving them the full payment in advance. I will definitely NOT be staying here next time. I gave them my trust the second time around and they did not even flinch or bat an eye because their other clients were “really important business guests” When I asked for compensation after becoming fed up, they tried to brush me off with refunding me for two-nights out of 30 days. The front desk manager asked me to come back the next day if I wanted more compensation because the “general manager” would be able to compensate me more quite definitely. They told me to come back the next day , even though I had a flight that same night. So I knew it was a wild goose chase. Due to bad weather in Lahore, my flight

The room was good, but reeked of cigarette smell the moment we stepped in. The AC did not work at night, multiple complaints resulted in basically nothing. The worst thing is the internet; it worked for a few minutes and disconnected afterwards. The IT guy, very friendly, had to reset the router after every few minutes so that the internet could work. Management did nothing to fix the issue.

      The rooms are nice. Wooden flooring. Housekeeping staff is friendly and took particular of my room as I am very finicky about cleanliness and do no want even a speck of hair around. The understood my needs and cleaned the room thoroughly. Reception staff are ok. Had a few issues in the beginning but then were sorted. Mr.Bilal was helpful and nice from the front office. The restaurant La Messa breakfast needs revamping. Staff are very slow and needed to be reminded about things many times. They need to pay more attention to cleanliness and ensure replenishment of food done. The GRM Mrs Khalida was great. She tries very hard to make things better and takes feedback proactively. She was always on the move and helpful. I would like to thank her. Please also commend the housekeeping staff on the 2nd floor who looked after my room. They were awesome. I forgot their names but they were always on the 2nd floor in the day time. Look forward to my next visit to this hotel in a week's time.

      For hotels booked on behalf of colleagues, the hotel has a specified check-in time. What you want to vomit is that the hotel does not deduct through Ctrip. It is directly deducted by the hotel. The price is slightly different from Ctrip ’s estimate. The deduction is only one night. In the next few nights, I went to the site and swiped my card again. I didn't know what the hotel was doing, which was very inconvenient for the guests.

      I stayed here for three days and it was one of the worst experiences in my life. I am a traveler and I've experienced many 2 star hotels but this was one of the poorest services 1. Unhygienic, the bed was dirty. 2. No hot water available to shower in winters 3. No food available in the restaurant you have to order it from outside. 4. They charge 4000PKR a day and trust me their rooms are not even close to 1000PKR In this range you can live in good hotels within lahore like gulberg greens and bahria 5. Lastly, their parking was dirtiest with nails on the ground which punctured my tire from 7 places. 6. AND THEIR ROOM SERVICE WAS PATHETIC. HAVE TO CALL 3 TIMES TO REMIND WHATEVER FACILITY YOU'VE ASKED FOR. P. S many of their intercoms were not even working. Highly UN Recommended!
