Hotel is 10 minutes walk from Lausanne train station. Room is small. There is a small kettle for boiling hot water for tea and coffee. There’s croissants left at a bread box by the hotel’s entrance in the morning which is nice. As this hotel doesn’t have front desk, it feels more like a regular apartment. City tax is payable at the hotel on the day of check-in via credit card. It felt a bit strange talking over the phone at the hotel’s entrance to someone for check-in but everything was done smoothly. Daily house keeping did keep the rooms clean.

Although the single room is small, it is relatively comfortable. There is no slippers, toothpaste, toothbrush and mineral water. Please bring it or buy it in advance. The elevator is very retro and the double doors are not very convenient. If you live for a short period of time, you will not change the bedding even if you call the room service to change the bedding. The reception service attitude is not very good when there are many people who check out. In short, if it weren't for this hotel is very close to the station, I would probably not stay again.

From behind Lausanne Station, walk for less than 10 minutes. The room provided is short in floor, and the lawn of the patio is outside the window, so the lighting is slightly worse, and the indoor environment is OK. The breakfast environment is too beautiful. On the top floor, the glass room, the meal is relatively rich, and you can cook instant noodles with chopsticks.

The hotel is located in the centre of Lausanne, within walking distance of the train station and the Lausanne Cathedral. The hotel has a European feel. Although the facilities are relatively old, the rooms are large and clean, and the balcony can see the city and lake views. Room service is attentive. If the waist is not good, you can also add wooden boards, which is also suitable for bringing children and children.

This is a very small Hotel very well placed in the center next to the metro, restaurants, bars, etc. It was a terrible stay because: -the cleanliness was bad; -the rooms are very small; -the room had tobacco smell mixed with perfume; -it doesn't have A/C and it was 28ºC outside; -there is a rooftop bar that runs on the top of the clients heads during the night. In the end I couldn't' sleep because of the loud noise and the heat. The hotel staff was always very helpful and very nice and that's the reason I give 2/5. I'll never come back and I don't suggest it to anyone.

Close to the train station, from the train station gate, first find McDonald's, then go up the McDonald's uphill, and soon there is a winding road on the right to see the hotel LOGO, we just started to go over, dragging the luggage uphill really tired The hotel is on the McDonald's side, up the right hand side up,

Discreet, older, boutique hotel conveniently located approx 100yds (100m) from Lausanne Gare (train station). Hotel bed was a bit too soft for our ideal comfort, and the thermostat seemed to be purely decorative, but the room itself was quite spacious, had windows which opened and was pleasantly decorated with antiques in an Asian motif. Staff provided us robes, slippers and a minibar refrigerator (which was quite nice at this lower/mid-tier price point). Hotel Victoria was quite clean and a perfectly situated accommodation for a week-long stay. The property serves as a great base from which to explore Swiss cities along the Golden Pass panoramic train route (and others, as well)). Breakfast was tasty and offered a variety of hot veg, eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, coffee, tea, milk, juices, and cold cuts which likely suit guest preferences from most western countries. Desk staff was very friendly, flexible and knowledgeable and went out of their way to expedite a laundry item that I had turned in past the regular morning deadline. Although other reviewers have noted the hotel is older and in need of updating soon, the climate control issues are what keep me from rating this hotel more highly. If not for the cool (5-7C/40F) temps outside (and our 2 nice double windows open) we would have sweltered. Despite the age of the property, I felt the room was pretty clean. (Only dingy spot I really noticed was the floor outlet behind the night stand I had to run my power cords through to charge my devices). However, with so many antiques and period pieces there is the danger that the hotel and decor deteriorates from “quaint/quirky boutique” to “funky/dilapidated hovel.” Fingers crossed the Victoria can stay viable with a few timely, minor updates to the climate system, more modern/convenient power outlets, refreshed flooring, and other minor tweaks—all while still maintaining the wonderful historic character of this classic-style, open atrium, hotel.

This hotel is located right in the pedestrian zone and surrounded on all sides by a cornucopia of shops and eateries of every kind. If arriving by train, ride one stop on the metro to Flon station. May sound extravagant but this way you´ll spare yourself the effort of walking up a really steep hill. The building offers bits of period charm like spacious central stairs or pudgy water heating radiators in rooms. Light breakfast fare is included in the room rate offering salami sausage, an assortment of cheeses (what else?) and a wide range of tasty marmalades and delicious chocolate-based spreads. Coffee with frothed hot milk served on the side was excellent. There is a terrace on the top floor that offers nice views of central Lausanne. My room was sufficiently large and airy and did not feel cluttered by furniture that besides a desk also included a padded easy chair and a coffee table. Bed and bedside lighting were excellent, the only disappointment being the pillows, rather thin and of an uncomfortable shape. For some reason the quality of pillows often gets neglected, at least that is my experience. Shower tub was curtained off by cloth drapes, which when wet tended to cling to the body and generally get in the way. Room colours were quite lively, battleship grey with red and white accents and a comics-style mural taking up one whole wall (see picture). In my room there was a small cooler (I mean a fridge without the frost compartment), which proved to be perfectly capable of keeping basic victuals at below room temperature. One (temporary) inconvenience was created by a capital reconstruction of a building right across the street where works started punctually at seven in the morning. I can´t say it bothered me much at all but as the room has no air-conditioning, if I am allowed a speculation, come the warm season an open window may create a tad of problem for late risers. To end on a positive note, internet connection was stable and sufficiently fast for video calls. Oh, and there was free coffee (capsules) and tea available the whole day through in the breakfast room, which I found quite touching.

The entire Lausanne terrain has a large gap, so the roads are all slopes. Therefore, you must step seven or eight steps into the hotel, so you need to move your luggage. The hotel is more refined, that is, the room is not big, but there is a balcony, the overall feeling is a little old Keller. It is very close to a subway station, but we did not take the subway and walk.

a large hotel with a large subway It is inconvenient for the Chinese people that there is no hot water in the room and they need to go to the public restroom to have hot water. Friends who have just arrived in Lausanne must remember to go to check-in first, because the front desk will give away a free transportation card, and you can get a city card with the transportation card.

Excellent business hotel. Very comfortable bed and lots of pillows. Very clean and friendly. We have stayed several times and it is always had a very comfortable time. Breakfast is very good although there are not many options for vegans. Some plant-based milk would be nice. Dinner in the restaurant was also very good.

The hot water is very rushing, you can relax well in a day, and the location is good. You can reach the hotel by bus directly from the train station. It is recommended to get off the train by bus. Just a few stops on the slope to the best Chinese restaurant in Lausanne, the price is OK.

My God!! The hotel upgraded the suite to us. I also booked a lake view suite, 3 people, but I can't believe it anyway. A total of two suites, all with balconies, about 40 square meters, and a small toilet with 20 square feet. The hotel service was very good. I had some accidents in Italy the night before I couldn’t reach the hotel and agreed to help me to extend the next day. There will be someone to help you park and park in their own private car park.

The hotel is in a good location, one block from the bus stop to city center. The room was clean and there was a safe and refrigerator. No shampoo or body lotion. A midget must have installed the shower head since it didn't go any higher then about five feet. Internet was available and there was underground parking (CH 18) for a fee. The night shift clerks were ok, but the day shift has a personality problem. She seems to get annoyed if you should ask her a question. Just my own impression. Breakfast was ok but management of the area was not good. The woman in charge spent more time in cleaning and setting the tables then in managing the food area. She should have left those duties to the staff workers. It took 20 minutes for the cheese and meat selections to be restocked.

The hotel is located by the lake, with beautiful scenery, less than 10 minutes away from the subway station and the pier, and convenient transportation. Hotel rooms are relatively clean, but unfortunately the area is not large. The breakfast buffet provided by the hotel is of medium size and no surprises. It is estimated that the hotel has a large number of tour group guests, so it is not very particular about the quality of service. For the first time, I saw that the hotel actually sold power converters to guests at the price of 12 Swiss francs.

As others have already said, the concept of this hotel is to mix hospital guests with outside guests - and we think it really works! We had a lovely corner room for the three of us. Really spacious with lots of storage, a huge bathroom and comfy bed and sofa bed. Great views of the lake and the cathedral spire too. Breakfast was really good too with an extensive selection of good quality products. We all enjoyed eating there and covid rules of the time were well-respected. Oh and the whole place (even the car park) was super clean. We booked for there Nuit des Musees and with the Lausanne Transport Card and the CHUV metro just a 2min walk away we got to all the museums we wanted to visit easily and for free. Thank you and we would definitely book again.

It looks like a small castle, the interior decoration is very modern and the layout is very reasonable. Originally wanted to book the Mei'an Palace, because the price was too high to give up, to a look, and the US shore is very close, the same lake view, not bad, worth. The service staff is very welcoming and the check-in is very detailed. The only downside is that it is a little smaller, but the Swiss room is really small.

If there is a better hotel to stay in for a vacation, I haven't found it. The Beau-Rivage Palace was perfection. The friendly staff, wonderful concierge service (hello Sylvie), delicious restaurants, beautiful room with wicker furniture on our lanai overlooking the lake and the French Alps. We chose the Palace side rooms, taking a Junior Suite with cream painted walls a lovely fruit plate that was refreshed every day, not to mention the champagne. Big beautiful bathroom. And the views from the room on the 4th floor were stupendous. We ate at both the Japanese restaurant (lovely alternatives to sushi--tempura shrimp, black cod with stir fried vegetables, as well as the French cafe with a fabulous choice, including crabmeat stuffed zucchini flowers which I had to have twice while we were there. Lovely setting for both restaurants that looked out at gardens and the lake and mountains beyond. 2 pools with food service outside as well as a small luncheon spot--we spent every late afternoon there. Breakfast was in a big , high ceilinged room , as well as balcony seating. Anything was available for breakfast. Worth the price. In other words, we just loved it. Stayed 9 days and enjoyed every moment. It was also wonderfully located for day trips . Right next to the Lavaux Vineyards, a real treat to drive through. It is expensive, but it was worth every penny. We look forward to returning some day.

We would like to thank the wonderful staffs for their excellent service. The guy in charge of the hotel at the day of our arrival allowed us to use their washer and dryer in the basement with a very reasonable fee, and helped us to operate the machines even after his shift was ended. At the day of our departure, breakfast was not supposed to be served until 8 am (it was a weekend), and it may be too late for us to catch the train at 8:25. We asked if they could allow us to have the breakfast 15 min earlier. They told us that they would try their best but would not guarantee that. We were pleasantly surprised that the young lady in charge of the breakfast on that day did have everything ready by 7:45 am, and the breakfast was really delicious. In contrast to the excellent service, the condition of our room could be improved. We lived in a room with a private bathroom, and had to take showers in standing water as the water did not drain quickly enough in the shower unit. The entire room also was not adequately lighted in the evening.
