The staff at Bonghwang are very kind and helpful. The room was very comfortable but it smelled like stale cigarette smoke despite that I was told no smoking is allowed in the building. Some stains on the bedding. Otherwise it was quite clean, welcoming, and comfortable place to stay. It's located within walking distance of many delicious places to eat or things to do. The buses are convenient and close by as well. I would definitely stay here again. I didn't make use of the breakfast offered because I traveled with friends who booked their accommodations separately and we walked around in the morning during breakfast hour.

It was my first trip to Gyeongju, but the lodging was more spacious than I thought and the owners were kind, so I had a comfortable stay. Hwangridan-gil, Cheomseongdae, Daereungwon, and Seongdong Market are all nearby, so it was nice to walk around in the evening. If I go on a trip to Gyeongju next time, I plan to stay at Gyeongju again.

Very good, because it’s not far from the tourist center of Gyeongju, This is just an ordinary motel, but the interior has been remodeled and is very good. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are spacious and clean. This is a holiday, so I am very satisfied, except for the high price. If you go to Gyeongju in the future, you must go to Cheomseongdae, Gyrim, Wolseong, and Gyochon. This is a good location for mainly walking travelers. I am willing to stay again.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. My first impression was negative as the carpets in the hallways are stained, however, my opinion of the hotel quickly changed. While the rooms are small they are clean. The beds and pillows are very soft and comfortable. There is a shower curtain in the bathroom (a rarity in our travels in South Korea so far) and there are full sized towels. The location is great with public transportation and numerous restaurants and stores nearby. The front desk was very helpful in answering our questions. In addition, there is free laundry available, free umbrellas to use for rainy days and a nice rooftop terrace for relaxation. The breakfast costs 2000 won extra but it is well worth it and includes cereal, yogurt, free, toast, hard boil eggs, tea, coffee and juice. The highlight of the hotel, though, was access to a bathhouse for free. It's closed on Thursdays but is otherwise open from 5 am to 8 pm and is a great way to relax after a long day of hiking or sightseeing. I recommend this hotel if you are looking for a centrally located, comfortable budget hotel.

The hostel owner is a nice kind lady, very helpful and has a cute fluffy dog! Living room is conducive to meet new people :) Room is clean just like all Korean hostels, though a little cold during winter but there is a bedwarmer. Location is next to a police station so it must be quite safe though it's in an alley. Many shops and eateries nearby, including a convenient bus stop that connects you to all the gyeongju touristic sites that are further away. Hostel is also only a short stroll to the famous tombs and 15mins walk to the intercity bus station which has direct buses to Busan airport.

Small hotel with everything you need. One of the best & cleanest! Booked this place last minute and had no expectations, but boy were we surprised! We booked the deluxe as we were a family of 4: 3 singles and 1 queen. So everyone was able to sleep comfortable (& the bed were comfy). Very clean. Even the large bathroom was clean because it was through another door (near the entrance), it was quiet even when someone was using it in the middle of the night. We totally loved it and was so pleased to have found this gem. They had a very clean kitchen near the lobby that you could use and we brought our breakfast down every morning & ate there. They had free coffee/tea & filtered water system. Very convenient. Provided combs, hair ties, slippers, robes, even a reusable ”scrubbing shower towels” in their amenity pack - better than a 5star hotel! Can't stop talking about how great this little place was. And, of course, it was walking distance to the bus terminal, restaurants, bakeries, and quick access to bus 10 which took you to the temples. Just lovely! Thank you!

Gyeongju is hot, but it is really beautiful. The hotel is a private holiday house located in the village with a beautiful environment. It is recommended to take a taxi. The address is shown in the figure. You can show the last address written by the driver's master, otherwise it may not be easy to find. Arrived 1 hour early and failed to check in early, so I went out to play directly. The luggage was already in the room at night. The room was large and comfortable. There is still some distance from the entrance of the village to the holiday house, and it is an uphill road. There are many small restaurants at the entrance of the village. 711 can recharge the T-Money card. 700 bus can go to Bulguk Temple, Donggong Yuechi, etc. very convenient. The Kolon is situated outside of Gyeongju so if you don’t have a car a taxi is necessary. We had a car and drove into town in the evening to eat. It’s a large hotel in need of a bit of tlc now but our room was ok. Breakfast buffet was small but edible; staff helpful.

It was a hanok that really fits with Gyeongju even in the millennium. The facilities and services were good and above all, the cleanliness was outstanding. The location of the hostel was also near Daereungwon and Hwangridan-gil, so the accessibility to the ruins was very good. After the race trip is unconditional. Located in the ancient city of Qingzhou, the yard is very large and beautiful. The room is Korean-style without beds and chairs, sleeping on the floor. The bathroom is clean but the facilities are very primary, and the shower nozzle water is relatively small. Very suitable for tourists who want to experience the Korean-style homestay. The front desk was very good. We lost our mobile phone. We took us to the police station to communicate with the police. Finally, we found it. I was very grateful.

We didn’t expect a lot but we received much. We arrived, three hours after closing tiime, but the host person waited for us. He greeted us with real Korean kindness and respect. We walked in to a warm and clean room. we absolutely recommend this place and would come again. The place is a away from the hustle and bustle of the city and the surrounding area is really beautiful. it was really lovely. We understand that some international travelers may not be able to get here easily, we came with a car so it’s great. It's a very cute pension. The facilities are a bit old, but the boss is so well maintained that you can feel the sense of the boss everywhere. I made a reservation by mistake because I confused the date, but the boss understood it and cleaned it up so I was lucky to stay that night. The kitchen was clean. A small dressing table was also useful. I wish I had a night stand, and I was disappointed that the bed was a little hard, but the kindness and smile of the boss covered those shortcomings. The fresh air and flowers in the yard in the morning were so good, and I was happy to spend time with cute cats and big and listening dogs. It's a good pension, so please use it a lot. I want to use it again next time I go to Korea. Thank you so much. boss. Business prosper! :)

It looked like it hadn't been cleaned, with dust rolling around on the floor and being stepped on, which wasn't nice, and it was a bit disappointing because it was far from the hotel's white towels. The heating was adjustable, so you could make it warmer or more adjustable. It was an ondol, but it was a square room without a sofa, and there was a TV. It would be nice to have a two-seater sofa, or even a single sofa, but it's a shame. I went to a youth hostel that I went to during a school trip, but I think the price of the hotel name is a bit lacking.
