We happened upon Nobu by chance after the hotel we booked in San Jose looked like a war-zone. What a sheer delight. The rooms are not big (but the wall-mounted TV is huge). It has every modern convenience including a Nespresso coffee machine and a TOTO bidet-toilet. (A real pleasure if you’ve never seen or used one.). The bedding and bed itself are pure pleasure. The room has a balcony (pretty unusable given the fires) and has a sheer curtain and a blackout curtain that are operated remotely (push a button). The bathroom is wonderful. Good size and great light. Finally the location is right downtown and the bottom floor is a Nobu restaurant. Fabulous food but very pricey. Probably more than 20 restaurants (all serving outside) are within walking distance.

Very good stay experience, first of all, the surrounding environment is very comfortable, is the center of Palo Alto, but not the big city of San Francisco, called downtown, there is a main road, beautiful and prosperous. Stanford University is right next to me, I go to the campus every day. It’s much more comfortable than living in downtown San Francisco. The breakfast was very good. The room is comfortable and quiet. The only downside is that the room is small, but I don't mind this.

The room was very clean, there was a parking space, it was quiet, it was very comfortable, there was basically a warm light, so the photo looks darker. There is McDonald's around 200 meters in the hotel. It is convenient to eat. In fact, the hotel is breakfast-included, it is relatively simple, there is coffee milk hot boiled fruit juice, eaten with bread slices and some crunchy corn processed snacks, fruits with apples and bananas Overall still quite satisfactory

We changed a rez from a much more expensive national brand hotel once we realized we would be driving and bringing our dog - and the Stanford Motor Inn is pet-friendly. The property is an older two-story U-shaped motel formed around a parking "U" which, in turn, encloses a pool area. While right on El Camino, our rooms were quiet and comfortable. As a gardener who has killed jade plants in both the desert and Seattle, I marveled at the assortment that, as I understand it, the owner's mother has cultivated. Accordingly, just one photo of the room and a bunch of the grounds. It's nice to stay in a family-owned and operated property. A lot of nice touches, such as full fluffy, resort-quality towels. The owners have also dressed up the courtyard walls with murals and other paintings. Really nice to be in a place that reflects such pride. I should also mention the Indo restaurant right next door. Great food and service and less than one minute away. If you're tired of the big chains and want to spend a night in a sweet family run motel close to Stanford, give it a try.

The hotel environment is OK, the second stay. Unfortunately, the watch and necklace fell on the towel on the countertop of the bathroom. I thought of running back and saw that the waiter was cleaning my room and went to find it. I found my watch only in the basket that had used the towel. How can the necklace be found? Fortunately, the watch was found, only the necklace was lost for three thousand yuan.

I was not recommend this hotel to business travelers because of the walls are as thin as paper, and the windows do not block sound. The windows look out onto a walkway and a parking lot, in true motel style. This feels like a building that was given a cosmetic facelift, but has the functionality of a motel. I can hear everything that happens in a neighboring room. Every time my neighbor turned on the tap, the plumbing sounds would be pretty obvious in my room. I can hear every conversation that happens on the walkways right outside the room. I can hear a door opening and closing 10 rooms down. I will say that I am more sensitive to noise than the average traveler, but I think noise is a common complaint about this hotel if you read the reviews. On this note, I’ve noticed that a lot of the five star reviews come from travelers with only posted one review, something that I should’ve paid attention to before booking this hotel. Although the staff is very friendly, you should not expect the service levels to be equivalent to four or five star hotels in the area. For example, I have a laptop with a foreign power cord. There was no travel adapter available anywhere in the hotel, and there was no outlet that could service my laptop. It was not until the next day that one of the lovely housekeeping staff found a converter that a guest had left in their rooms. I had to follow up with the service staff, rather than somebody following up with me. I was pretty frustrated by this incident - I think any hotel that charges over three hundred dollars a night per room should have the foresight to have adapters available for guests to use. I will say the hotel has a lovely lobby area, and the free wine happy hour is a nice touch. I think despite the best efforts of the staff, the Nest really is a mediocre experience. I would not stay again just based on the noise levels in the rooms alone. Also, the location is only ok. Not super far to Sand Hill, downtown PA, or STANFORD, but how much time you spend on the road really depends on the traffic, which can get a little gnarly on this stretch of El Camino. If you have no other choices in the area and must stay at this hotel, I would recommend getting a room on the far side of the hotel, so that not as many guests walk by, because you can hear their footsteps from your room.

It's old and the surrounding environment is average. Because I went to another relatively new comfort, I had a good impression. I didn't expect that the price near this Silicon Valley is not cheap but it is too general in all aspects. There are many fast foods in the surrounding area, but Silicon Valley obviously consumes it. High, fortunately not far from Google and Stanford University.

This BEST hotel in Mountain View, Silicon Valley looks like a motel, but it is a well-designed and very small hotel with a mountain scent with no mountain views. It is quiet and comfortable in Silicon Valley style. It is also close to Stanford University. There is a small restaurant in Hong Kong, authentic Cantonese cuisine, soup and desserts such as Cantonese cuisine.

1, the booking room is a bit early, one month in advance, the result is expensive, not including breakfast, the total price is not expensive; 2, the extra bed is not needed, the bed is very suitable for bringing children, the supplies are also very good; 3, the hotel location is very good, there is a lot of Chinese food next door across the street and The sea, the location should be very good, very prominent on this road, the parking lot is also very large, no car; 4? I don't know why the evaluation is not very good. To be honest, I feel pretty good. The lobby is also very large. There are orange slices and apples to enjoy. 5. There is a handsome guy at the door to help you, can help and be very enthusiastic. But my husband is worried about tipping, and I don't know how much to give, so all self-help 6. The only problem is that the bed is too soft, the pillow is too soft, and the backache is asleep. The air conditioner is not loud, and the air conditioner is open several times. And found that there is not. Maybe this is where everyone is not satisfied.

The biggest advantage of the hotel is that it is close to Lake Tahoe and built next to the lake. The lake is a beach and the lake is super clean. Others have no advantages. The room is small, reference to the size of the country for 7 days; no bathtub; there is a fireplace; when I came, it was not the peak season, the guests were few, the room was thick and gray when I checked in, and there was still gray on the furniture for the next few days; there was no breakfast. If you have to say one more advantage, the coffee provided in the room is a Starbucks bag, but it is not good.

We stayed here on Valentine’s Day weekend. The location is excellent! Walking distance to shops, casinos, restaurants and ski gondola ride to Heavenly. Pros: •Bed is comfortable, comfy sheets and pillow soft •Excellent location •Free hot breakfast (biscuit & gravy, toast, fruit, juice, oatmeal and etc) we didn’t try it...chose to sleep in. •Free parking •Amenities in the room: small bottles of Shampoo, Conditioner, & Lotion, soap bar, hair dryer, iron, iron board, safe, mini refrigerator (no freezer), tv •Dogs allowed •Restaurant on site...X Crows (BBQ this is also the place you get your breakfast) Cons: •Loud!! Bring ear plugs to sleep. You can hear doors closing (more like slamming), dogs barking, people talking outside. Does not have double pain windows •RESTLESS SLEEP!! •Water pressure horrible. Takes a long time for the water to heat. •No pool •No gym •No DVD • Only one outlet by the bed. The nightstand closest to the bathroom did not have an outlet. Had to charge my phone on the desk. •Limited parking even though it is free •No fireplace This place received a cosmetic upgrade but not a construction renovation. There’s a few items that needs to be addressed and can make this place a 5 star. For us if we are waken up every hour of the hour with loud noise, it’s not a hotel we would like to experience again.

My family of 5 (3 kids 11,13,15) stayed here for Spring Break to snowboard at Heavenly. I’ve read the reviews that it is a little dated, and I was a little worried. But this place was awesome! 1) Less than 5 minute walk to the Gondola and Heavenly Village shops and restaurants. I’d say 3, even with kids laden with gear. 2) Free breakfast had tons of yummy choices. Bacon, sausage patties, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, bread (cinnamon raisin toast was a family favorite), bagels, danishes, premade waffles (and syrup of course),fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, cottage cheese, juices, Starbucks coffee and one “special” - we saw quiche, Belgian waffles with fancy toppings, omelettes and biscuits and gravy. We were warned that things might run out if we got there too late (hours between 6:30 and 8:30). Latest we ate was 7:30, with a big crowd, and everything was plentiful. As a family who has wasted SOOOOO much on hot breakfasts for the kids before we get up on the mountain I cannot rave enough about this great feature! 3) The website and TripAdvisor reviews don’t mention onsite laundry rooms, but they have 3 separate ones in 3 different buildings. Wash was $2. Dry was $1. Hallelujah! 4) Units were spacious - we had a 2 bedroom. Sure, the units and decor are not brand spanking new, but everything is comfortable and functional. Floors are creaky, but REALLY, come on. Kitchen has oven, microwave, full-sized fridge, plenty of dishes and utensils. Grocery store is a 5 minute walk. A little lean on cookware. We had a big pot, small pot, and very small frying pan, but I have no doubt they would have helped us out if we asked for anything else. Also, the beds were REALLY comfortable - and I am very picky. 5) Wine and cheese reception every night from 4-5 was fun FREE! and always well attended. 6) The kids enjoyed foosball and “basketball” in the game room off the lobby. They also have board games and Xbox games. 7) Pool is closed during the winter, but the family enjoyed the hot tub, which was clean and big enough for at least 6. All in all, I would highly recommend this place to anyone - especially families. We’ve stayed at higher end condos at other ski areas, and I would prefer this experience to anything else we’ve encountered. And the price is terrific. Hope to return next year, as long at there is snow at Heavenly!!!!
