Absolutely fabulous hotel. Our room was spacious, and rather sumptuous—it was quite romantic, as advertised. It was also very quiet, even though it was on a corner of the hotel, overlooking two streets. This is a tranquil corner of the “new town,” although the area is full of galleries and a number of good restaurants not far away. The AC was great (it was 98 degrees one day, so we really appreciated it). We stayed four nights, and the hotel was so comfortable it felt like home. The staff was extraordinarily helpful and friendly. They helped us figure out the tram routes and advised us on the most economical way to buy tickets, which enabled us to go to some terrific restaurants outside of the center. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel—there are several good cafés five minutes away. The location was perfect, if you like to locate slightly outside the tourist scrum. It was about a twenty minute walk across the bridge to the old town, which would have been a jumpy place to stay, with lots of mediocre restaurants and cafés and hoards of tourists. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Dresden! If you get a chance, I’d particularly recommend Restaurant Stresa. Much more reasonably priced than Caroussel, and if it isn’t as plush it nevertheless has an innovative chef who’s going to be a star. The setting is sleek and relaxed, too—especially if the weather’s nice and you can sit outside.

We were lured into this hotel by Relais & Chateaux brand, but there are better options in Dresden. Charm of the old building is spoiled by oversized plastic toys allocated across lobby. Service is unfriendly – there is no concierge, waiters are not communicating in English, front desk is not helpful. We asked for booking at the hotel restaurant and were told, that restaurant is fully booked for the evening of our arrival and day later. Coming back from the dinner outside at 8:30 we found that the restaurant is empty, and fully booked only for early dinners. Nobody took care to check it and explain it for us. Breakfast was a disaster. No buffet, which can be explained by covid situation. But also no information what can be expected. Staff informed us on available options in German – and as we don’t speak German, it was the worst breakfast ever. We were given only one set of cosmetics in tiny containers on the day of arrival. Next day used cosmetics were not replaced. When asked, front desk sent us again one tiny set. Frustrated, I had to find the drugstore and buy shampoo and shower gel. Next time in Dresden I will look for other options.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights while we toured Dresden (one foot). The hotel is older but it is clean and well appointed. If you are looking for the modern and bland architecture of a Hilton then go to a Hilton. The room was very clean and although not large it was perfect for our stay. The hotel staff was helpful and accommodating. There is parking at the rear of the hotel which is convenient. The 20 minute walk to the city centre is interesting and staying here offers you a better price but still reasonable proximity to the city. A nearby transit station will get you anywhere on the city's extensive transit network. The breakfast was very good as well. It was a very good experience over all.

Located within easy walking distance of the historic City Centre, with a riverside park only two minutes away. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms have all amenities the modern traveller expects including a safe, AC, WiFi and TV. I would have liked a metre and a half rail to hang clothes on and at least one drawer for storing items in - things were a little too ‘open plan’. The breakfasts were amazing with food for every taste. The price was keenly competitive so any drawbacks were quickly overlooked. Dresden is an amazing city with a wide variety of attractions - the Old Town, the New Town and the air port were easily reached by tram and train while those travelling by car could use the hotel car park. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Based on recent stays in towns across Germany I'm pretty impressed with the standard of mid-priced hotels here. The Westin Bellevue is no exception; in fact it's a standout. We asked for a room on the river side of the hotel (thanks TripAdvisor), and although it was a standard room, it was extremely comfortable. While the bed was terrific, the national habit of using heavy weight duvets regardless of temperature is very strange, and doesn't encourage a sleep which should be easy--the room has air-con, the bed is fabulous, the room quiet and very clean. The drawback? The breakfast. Don't get me wrong, it was fine. But not to the high standard of hotels we've experienced in Berlin, Weimar, Hamburg, Quedlenberg and Leipzig. I wouldn't mention it if the price was appropriate, but at over 20 euros, it should have offered greater selection. Our thought was that the very reasonable tariff for the room is made up for with the cost of breakfast. Apart from that, the hotel is to be commended on the friendly and helpful staff, especially the lovely little cafe Poppelman with its terrific service and well-prepared food. And little touches like the water provided in the lobby add to the thoughtful way this hotel is run. This is our second visit to Dresden but our first at the Bellevue. Hopefully we can find an alternative for breakfast and our next stay there will be near perfect.

When I arrived (alone and at late evening) the first impression was not the best one...They sent me a code to open the door because reception it's close at evening. They left an envelope with my room's key at the reception. Once entered my room I can say I was quite shocked...my room was tiny, no internet in my room ( I had to go to the reception to get signal) and the bathroom was a shared bathroom with toilet on one side of the corridor and shower to the other. I can say I was disappointed but then I thought at the price (20 euros more or less) and at the location and I just went to sleep. The day after I headed to the reception with the intention to make a complaint but...I couldn't :-) The Swedish guy who work there is simply brilliant. He gave me so many information about Dresden and the surrounding area (to give you an example...in the afternoon I joined a tour and the guide...was surprised I knew so much:-)) and he gave me the opportunity to leave my backpack until the evening that I just left with a smile.Don't expect too much from this place but if you are looking for a cheap place to stay in a great location,,,this is the place!

This was our second time staying, but first time as a whole family (2 children, 11 and 17). This is a great hotel, location is a short walk from the center. Absolutely spotlessly clean, our room was great, very spacious for the 4 of us, though I will say the second bed is a terrible camp bed style sofa, very uncomfortable, squeaks like mad and poor considering you are paying full price (double the cost of 2 people). Breakfast buffet is excellent with a huge choice of food. Our first time in the spa area which to be honest is a little small, I think they have about 10 loungers and nowhere else to sit if these are full. The Piano bar seems to be better than our last stay (when it was full of cigar smoke), very relaxed atmosphere. Our only issue was when it came to paying, The receptionist tried to charge us an extra 70 Euros for 2 breakfasts (yes, 35 Euros per breakfast.....The breakfast is good, but not 35 Euros good). Our reservation was through Booking.com and my wife now (through experience) has the foresight to check the reservation with the hotel before we get there, because when booking 2 children there are a few grey details that you should check. Thankfully my wife had confirmation that the price included 4 breakfasts, but the lady on receptions was not willing to accept the offer even though it was in front of her in black and white. and had to call a person in charge to resolve this issue. This took about 15 minutes and was slightly embarrassing.

Great location! Just 150 meters from the Cathedral of Our Lady, close to the European platform, a few steps have arrived. The Elbe River can be seen upstairs, with beautiful scenery and several restaurants downstairs. The price is not expensive, strong push.

The hotel is right in the heart of the old town, with all the attractions within easy reach and impeccable location. The breakfast was very good, the room facilities were a bit old, but it was neat and clean, and the three large glass walls of the bathroom won my heart. Tucao hotel elevator, a floor more than 100 rooms, only one elevator three elevators, out of the elevator to the room feels a one-stop walk, dining at the peak of the queue, everyone waits for the elevator. There are many restaurants around the hotel.

I experienced a bad customer service at checking. For parking you need to deposit 10€ for a key to remove a barrier on a parking place. Did not had cash money and the reception refused to give the key and directed me to a ATM. The ATM was probably only for own bankcards so no money given, not even on creditcard. returned back to reception and explained. Again a discussion about the 10€ deposits. Problem would be to credit the amount when taken on credit card, seemed to be difficult. told them I do not care about €10 just want to park the car and have my room key. She finally accepted this. At check out the next day the reception credit the €10 easy to my credit card. What is the problem? The hotel is outdated and so the rooms. The breakfast room is to small for all people. I will book another hotel next time. Not expected this from Accor.

A safe choice to stay in Dresden - great location, several good places around to eat (a morning snack or an evening dine), walking distance to the old town or shopping area, nice & spacious room. Only potential 'drawback' - if you have a room facing church, in the evening it pays for nice and romantic view while sitting in the window, but in the morning most likely we'd be woken up church bells.... :) We had nice & enjoyable stay; will go for it again for my future stays in Dresden.

This place was ok for the night, but nothing more. I'll start by saying that their dinner was very at the restaurant and their breakfast selections were very good, plus the waiter service was nice and attentive. And the swimming pool facility was very nice. That's about it. The beds had one very thin pillow each, the room was spacious but dirty - we even found a shoe from a previous guest in our room (and the staff at the front desk weren't very apologetic or embarrassed by the situation). The hotel looks old and shabby. The shower in the bathroom had underfloor heating which was great, because it managed to evaporate the lake of water left in front of the shower by the following day (sort of). Also, I'm not sure if the hotel couldn't afford a separate door for the shower and the toilet - or if they just thought it was a convenient idea to share them. Make you choose between toilet and shower in a couples. Or if this is just a serious lack of design judgement. The hotel was grossly overpriced for the value that we got. Very disappointed and expected more from a Radisson Blu. We won't be back.

A bed for a six-person room, two nights, because I only used a UnionPay card, I used a room booked by an agent. The space is quite large. The toilet and bathroom are separate. The bed is OK. There is a personal locker, no lock. If you don't feel at ease, you must bring earplugs, earplugs, earplugs, earplugs, earplugs, earplugs, a lot of sleeping cars at night, the truck sounds good, but the train is not far away, the train is very noisy. This room is mixed with men and women. I didn't expect to meet the girl, so I went downstairs for more than an hour to let her take a bath and change clothes. Of course, at night, the Japanese girl basically wears sleeveless trousers. Sleeping, it must be very hot. I ran away at five in the morning. Don't ask me how I know it, because it is really noisy. Even though I have already brought earplugs, there are other guests who pull in the door to sleep and wash. Carrying luggage. Everything else is fine, there are bars, meals, close to the train station, opposite the Asian restaurant, although not eaten.
