Pros: the staff is really professional and accommodating, excellent customer service Close to the airport with a few Cons: shuttle comes every 30 minutes and I was told I had the wrong shuttle when I’m fact I did have the right one and I had to wait an hour to get picked up Not the nest neighborhood, hallway smells like weed, but don’t blame the hotel staff as there’s nothing they can do Suggestion: both your shuttles look the same but aren’t the same holiday inn/holiday inn express Make sure they’re clearly marked as I asked the driver “ is this lax holiday inn” and he told me no, the same driver came back an hour later and told me no again but I got on anyways and discovered I was right. Nobody wants to be stranded at the airport. Your check in staff was great thanks

We arrived at the international Terminal after a 12 hour flight and waited outside for the hotel shuttle that was shwon on the website. After an hour we called the hotel to find that the shuttle had been discontinued because of COVID. Well, fair enough, but why not at least make a special effort to let prospective guests know. When we eventually made it to the 6th floor where our room was, there was a sickening smell of stale marijuana. The room ,however, turned out to be clean with everything advertised (refer, Microwave, TV, working internet, adequate closet space, adjustable cooling/heating, king sized comfortable bed). So the room was fine. Going downstairs for the advertised breakfast, we found that too had been cancelled. So the price of the room (reasonable) was then increased by taxi fares and purchase of breakfast. Not so much of a bargain after all.

My flight arrives in LAX 10:30pm so decide to book myself a hotel nearby so I can relax asap after the 12 hours flight from HK. It turned out to be a nightmare as I waited for over an hour before the free shuttle came. This is totally unacceptable! I called the hotel 2 times and each time is the same response we have 2 buses coming. On the 3 rd call a supervisor took over and repeated nothing they can do with traffic. The bus is stuck at the entrance. Either the driver or the hotel supervisor is lying as google maps indicated 16 mins driving time. After another 20 mins the bus finally arrived. When it got to the next stop the customers there were all mad as well. If you were me should I book the Westin again. By the way I saw 4 HIlton buses and just a month ago I stayed there and had no problem with their shuttle.

Great location. I returned to the same hotel for my holiday on the last day before I fly back to my home country. Their breakfast has congee, which most USA hotel do not offer. Check in was fast. But I think the hotel can upgrade the bathroom to standing shower and maybe the room should be well lit. It is abit too dim. But overall still not bad!

During the epidemic, there was no breakfast. For the transfer plane, I chose the airport Marriott, or a member. The room does not even have free bottled water. It is not recommended. They are all next to the airport, not bad for his family. The driver of the free shuttle is very good, helping with luggage.

The plane was booked here at six o'clock in the morning. It is very close to the airport. There is a shuttle bus to and from the airport. It seems to run at least every half an hour, and it is convenient to arrive in about 10 minutes. The standard room has two beds. The bed is quite large and can sleep two people. There seems to be no place to eat around the hotel, but it doesn't matter if you just catch a plane. It feels pretty quiet and will not be noisy by the sound of the plane, that is, the sound of the air conditioner is a bit loud, but it is not cold before turning off. An additional deposit of $ 50 was charged at the time of check-in. At present, two days after check-out had not been refunded to me. It said that it was 5-7 days. In short, this price is not bad, it is recommended to catch a plane.

This is your typical Embassy Suites - nice large area for chatting with friends and family at the happy hour and for the free breakfast. The breakfast was great as is normal for this brand of hotel. The room was nice with two comfortable queen beds and the second room had a sofa bed that pulled out. The bathroom was large and clean. We had a fridge, microwave and a coffee maker which is very nice. I will say that parking here isn’t the best. There is limited parking on level and a small garage underground. However I realize it’s at the airport which makes things more cramped. The road to get in to the hotel was under construction so it wasn’t the easiest to get in and out of. Hopefully that is completed quickly so it’s not so hard to access. There is an airport shuttle for those who don’t need a car, which is quick and convenient. Other than the parking, We would stay here again for easy access to the airport with a nice clean room.

Where should i begin with this review? Let’s start with the check in process. I’ve stayed at this location for all of my visits to LA the past two years with the exception of an AirBnb for a longer stay. In that time I’ve never had a front desk rep speak to me like i was an inconvenient occurrence during their shift and demand an additional fee for “early check in” My flight has always gotten me to the airport and shuttled to the hotel by 9am. When Diego advised me he didn’t have a room free until 3pm even though using the Bonvoy app an alert was sent saying my room was ready after an alert asking what time would I arrive so that said room would be available. If this location is charging a few not mentioned on its website or in the fine print then that’s strike 1. After having a cup of coffee and scraps from the ending breakfast buffet,40 minutes later, I’m offered a room on the 5th floor because my usual room wasn’t available for this stay. No real issue but an hour being in the room I’m noticing the sounds of repairs or remodeling in a near by unit. I call the front desk and they advise me it’s no maintenance scheduled near my room and they apologized for the knocking i was hearing. 30 minutes later the room is without power. I call the front desk to confirm this isn’t just my room or floor but the entire hotel is without power. Another 15 minutes I’m out the shower and leaving the hotel, the powers still out. Two of the bath towels had long red hair threaded in them. I don’t doubt they were cleaned however details overlooked by the cleaning staff. I usually leave a cash tip in the room upon checkout but somehow selecting 2 days of cleaning in exchange for bonus points didn’t work how they did in the past(every other day vs skipping 2) The cleaner did a light cleaning the day before checkout in a 4 night stay (3rd night) leaving behind crumbs on the floor that were swept from the counter to the floor. Appearing to only provide clean towels and emptying the trash. The length of my stay there was a noticeable noise coming from within the building sounding like other repairs, during business hours, but noise non the less. This trip I saw a few new faces and some old ones who seemed to be promoted. Not sure if it’s a power trip at play but what I did notice was a lack of respect for my returning visit or appreciation of my patronage to a property that seems to be cutting corners and declining in the service/value area. I was advised I wouldn’t be billed the $79 for an early check in but to “remember it” for the future. Remembering it, I am, and looking for another option, minus the attitude, I’m doing. I used to look forward to smiling faces that greeted me after the 11-12 hour flight i took there but even upon departure i received eye contact from the 4 people present, but continued their conversation. I gestured with a wave and said have a great weekend, no reply. The knocking persisted daily so it indeed was maintenance or room re

The free breakfast is a bit better than most breakfasts, with a few more hot options. Free parking! Cost-effective. The front desk was friendly and enthusiastic, and I also like to make fun of it. It was very relaxing. We gave us a double bed on the top floor. The checkout and refund deposits were very fast.

Because of the proximity to the airport, the sound of the plane taking off and landing has never stopped, quiet is not enough, and I can sleep. The hotel room did not actively provide slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste. It was okay to call to ask the housekeeping to arrive. The bathtub has no glass door, just a plastic shower curtain. The shower faucet is fixed to the wall. There is a free shuttle to the airport 24 hours. The driver also helped to carry luggage up and down. The service was good.

Great location but check in was rather long wait. Must take the correct shuttle bus as Sheraton Gateway is NOT the same as Four Point Sheraton. Took me 10 minutes walk 😂

Stayed just one night before a flight but I would have gladly stayed longer. Very nice hotel extremely close to LAX. First the hotel: Very well appointed rooms and bathrooms. I thought at first the HVAC didn't work but it was so quiet that I couldn't tell. Nice large TV and a view (remember this is an airport hotel) of a couple runways. Room was clean and spacious. My only complaint is the beds were too soft. That is personal preference. Check in was easy and when you scan your card at the elevator, it tells you what lift to take and then goes straight to your floor. Ran into a robot helper on the ground floor, almost literally. Location: You are right at the entrance to LAX. Any closer and you're in the airport. The day was overcast and I easily walked from the Avis return to the hotel in maybe 10-12 minutes. Perfectly safe though not a lot of pedestrian traffic. The shuttle ride to Term 4 might have been 4 minutes. Rate: I thought really good consider it was LA and right by the airport and I have paid more for much less in other places so no complaints there either. There aren't a lot of convenient eating places. The menu for the inhouse restaurant was ok. There is a Krispy Kreme on the bottom floor and a Rinaldi's Deli just across the entrance. I ate there. I would definitely stay again.

The environment is very good, because several hotels resident on this day moved to here for three nights without rooms, the price is slightly expensive, but the hotel environment and room settings are really good, super warm and sweet feeling, Small promenade and open air area outside Big Love Hotel

Amy Bloch, the Concierge, contacted us about 2 weeks before our arrival asking if there was anything she could do for us either setting up any tours, restaurant suggestions and reservations or anything we might need. After asking for suggestions on restaurants she did send me quite a selection of different types of restaurants along with things to do around Hollywood and Los Angeles. When my friend and I arrived Amy greeted us at the front desk, welcoming us to the Roosevelt Hotel. The entire staff from the front desk, the guys at the valet parking, housekeeping and room service were outstanding. They couldn't do enough for us. Everyone at the hotel, especially Amy made our stay simply fantastic. The Roosevelt Hotel is the only place we would stay in Hollywood.

Downtown Los Angeles
It's a big place like Los Angeles, and the room is so small, I feel drunk too. It is too small to open the luggage, which is inconvenient to open. I specifically explained that I want a quiet room. The garbage truck on the street started to pull garbage less than 5:00 in the morning. The staff talked. I thought the window was not closed. As a result, there was no window for you to open. It was just a piece of glass with light. Just come in. A small refrigerator, placed on a shelf, but not in a cabinet. There is nothing in the refrigerator, but it is plugged in, and the operation noise is noisy all night. It will collapse when you live one day. No one will help you. Carry luggage. No one asks if you need help. Is this still Los Angeles I know? The beds are ok, moderately hard and soft. The location is good. It is convenient to walk everywhere, and around breakfast. Walking on HIlls street towards 3rd street, everything is there. May not stay here next time, unless there is no choice.

My family has been using the Anza hotel for all of our trips to the Calabasas/LA area for the past 4 years or so, and we love it here. I hope we can continue to rely on the Anza for years to come. Beautiful rooms, superb location, and best of all they allow pets! The prices for rooms are very reasonable and they all have a nice "boutique feel" to them which adds something special. I want to add an extra note about my last stay here, which took place during the first days of the Covid-19 outbreak. I traveled alone without my husband and child to Calabasas/California because I needed to be with a gravely ill parent who soon passed away. Being able to stay in a comfortable hotel during this awful period was such a comfort to me, and I want to add that Ryan, who works at the Bistro restaurant and bar, was especially great to me during this time. Ryan prepared delicious meals for me, got to know me and my love for an evening glass of wine right away, and was a warm, friendly presence when I came home from the hospital at night (and in later days, came home to the hotel after days spent making final arrangements). Ryan and the team at the Anza who continued to work during the stressful days of Covid-19 "stay at home restrictions" were truly a blessing to me and I value, and am so grateful for, their work on the behalf of me and other guests who really needed a hotel stay for emergency reasons.

Everything was on point! All the staff were very accommodating! I arrived early Saturday and I was lucky to get a room early. Which helped a lot since we were on the go per our Soccer Tournament. When we needed a space to have our potluck in the evening they helped with our set up. Everyone was very friendly and customer service was amazing!
