This hotel is handily placed for the river crossing which is by ferry boat. Across the river are some beautiful gardens. There are some reasonable places to eat around the hotel but none speak English. Though there is a young guy on the reception that does. All the hotel staff are polite and helpful. Point to note the hotel is more like a guest house. The breakfast is not buffet but by selection. Choices are reasonable. There is also a swimming pool which is probably better suited to kids as it is quite shallow but you can swim a little in it. We stopped for four days, which was enjoyable but long enough. There is a nice place to sit at the front of the hotel to smoke or have a drink.
Amazing stay!! I will definitely come back! Rooms are spacious, well organized and the view on the Mekong river is just priceless. The team is making everything to ensure that your stay goes beyond your expectations. A big “Thank you” to Miss Lynh from Front Office that spent time with me sharing the culture of her beautiful country with passion and humor, Mister Sang from the F&B team for his incredible attention to detail and Miss Duncan, the resort Manager for her warm welcome to this beautiful and luxurious property.

Hotels Near Ngoi 2 Restaurant In Ho Chi Minh City Review
The rooms are clean, the internet is strong and stable, there are many convenience stores around the clock, many underground food cities, bars all over the place, and it is particularly lively at night. very safe.
As long as there are no special circumstances, the room is good, but the navigation address is different from the actual address, breakfast is ok, the room is clean and sanitary, and the hot water is solar, not too hot
The hotel is very close to the Ho Chi Minh Hotel, only 1.6km away. I had a late flight at four o'clock in the evening, so I stayed here just to have a good rest. After all, the price is low, the room is small, and there is not even a chair. But when you leave the store, the hotel will arrange a free business car to the airport, which is very heartwarming.
Good location, 20 minutes walk from the main attractions of it, day trips start in the vicinity, a few minutes walk. Old hotel, small room, no breakfast, airport taxi came 150000-200000 shield, also without regular taxi passenger hit the table, you can shoot the license plate complaint.
I would like to recommend this hotel to others because the hotel officers are super helpful. When I arrived the hotel, I found that My money was got stolen in the airport , the hotel officer was very kind that she helped us write a report and translate to police officer. Thanks to her kind help, we successfully got our money back . So I would like to recommend this hotel not just because of its location but also the helping stuff
The hotel is located in District 1, belonging to the more prosperous area of Ho Chi Minh, with convenient transportation. However, many of the hotel infrastructure are bad, such as the shower head in the bathroom and the plug for charging the bed, which is not comparable to domestic hotel chains. The most disturbing thing is that when it rains, the window leaks, and the rain seeps directly to the bed. The hotel attendant took a large towel and sucked water on the ground until the rain stopped.
It is recommended to be in areas other than Zone 1, such as Zone 5, Zone 7, where you can live in a better hotel for the same price
The location is good, it is convenient to take the bus to the airport, there are many snacks downstairs. The room was clean, the sheets were clean, the waiter was very nice, the attitude was good, and the enthusiasm was very good. I will stay at your home next time.
I stayed at the hotel for few days, the stuff is nice, the reseptionist was friendly and polite, able to speak English. The location of hotel is great, you can walk and see the main sightseeings of the city, no need to call the taxi; the breakfast was nice. I don't regret that I have booked this hotel)
Every time I travel nearby, I choose this hotel to stay. Staying on a business trip, the hotel's hygiene is relatively clean, the location is also very good, the neighborhood is relatively prosperous, it is a good choice to have time to stroll around, it is recommended.
Arrived 3 in the morning. The door was locked but was opened after knocking. A great transit hostel in the alley with so many competitive hostels next to each other. I like here because it is cheaper than others and guests are not so noisy like other party hostels around. Also the guests seem to be a little older and mature this time around. The breakfast was good. You can choose from about 3 choices.
Dong Du Hotel is a lovely place. The tiny lobby is clean with welcoming hosts. The entire staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. And each breakfast is cooked to order. This small place is on a relatively quiet street. The location is lovely too. Just a 10 minute walk leads to Norte Dame Square, the historic post office, and Book Street. For a very special treat, cross the street at the hotel and head to a small food cart. Have the noodles. Absolutely delicious!
Booked the hotel for the purpose of being close to the exhibition hall, staying for three days felt as affordable as the price. The facilities in the room are relatively old. The bed in the standard room is only one meter wide. Ho Chi Minh City is not as expensive as Hong Kong. I do n’t know why the bed is only one meter. Good morning, there is a large balcony outside the restaurant to enjoy the city view. The front desk is inadequate. There is no lighter, no matches, no matches, no money to change. In addition to these, others are OK, cheap and cheap, haha!
I don't revel writing this review. I stayed here with my family for several nights in December 2019. It was an awful experience. Unfortunately, the hosts -- whose names I believe are Ruby, and someone else named Kevin who emailed us -- are just not ready to put in the work and/or expense to host guests at their properties. They were not responsive to our concerns about cleanliness or the lack thereof. The apartment, which had high end fixtures, was dirty. Upon arrival late at night, we were first struck by the beautiful city view. The excitement soon faded when we noted the smell of urine in the front bathroom and that the A/C in the living room did not work. We spent 30 minutes cleaning around the toilet until the smell dissipated. We had to climb up onto a chair to turn off the A/C which was blowing hot air as there was no remote. While daily cleaning services are indicated, the housekeeper did not want to clean. She preferred to drop off towels and bottled water, minimally clean, and depart shortly thereafter. She was annoyed when we asked her to sweep to get rid of the two inches of dust bunnies, hair, and old pills that had accumulated under the beds, dressers, curtains, couch, corners, and tables. There was a pervasive smell of mildew every time we opened a drawer or cabinet. The furniture, which was white laminate, had black scuff and crayon marks on almost every surface. The white kitchen counters were also stained. All of the bathroom vents had black lint in the grates. The shower caulking was black in the bottom corners. The washer/dryer on the balcony wreaked of mildew/mold when opened. When we requested hangers to hang our clothes, we received 10 mismatched dirty plastic hangers. The stove hood was so filthy, that after I swiped it the ensuing black tar-like mark on my finger only came off by scrubbing it with soap and water. Again, we had to clean the hood ourselves since the maid noted she could not reach it. Also: all the glass surfaces were streaked, there were finger prints and marks on the white walls, there is no coffee maker, no microwave, and hardly any pots and pans or silverware/kitchen utensils in the kitchen. In addition, the apartment advertises a pool. What they don't tell you is that you will have to give passport copies and finger prints, which will take two days to process with building management (not the hosts). We quickly realized that it was just not worth it. I note that (oddly) there are a number of good reviews for this place on multiple sites with the same canned response from the company. I question their veracity as there is just no way that our apartment was an exception. It was just too neglected. It is my sincere hope that this review will force the company to immediately deep clean their apartments, and if it does not, I would stay away. In conclusion, I would say that Ho Chi Minh is known to have more expensive accommodations. If you are a family who is coming to visit f
Very clean, we stayed in the 402 twin room, but there was still a bar boom in the evening, and the bathroom sink was not smooth. But walk to Fan Laowu Street for 10 minutes, go to the side of the green market for 7 or 8 minutes, breakfast is also quite good, especially during the day guarding the door uncle, fried chicken enthusiasm, always reminded the careful package, careful motorcycle, also helped my mother cross the road It's too sweet.
Hotel with design and rooftop bars. Room is clean and spacious. HKD12xx per room per night is a bit pricey for us. Need to walk for 10 minutes to go to the city center or to the church. Will stay again if the room price is less expensive.
I recently spent a month at the Emerald while between apartments. The staff are amazing. Everyone at the front desk and everyone in housekeeping do a great job and are genuinely sweet and friendly. The location is perfect, close to a lot of places in walking distance, and on a nice quiet street in a very good area of District 7.
The hotel that arrived on the 3rd morning was the early check-out on the 4th. After consultation with the store, breakfast was provided on the 3rd morning, and their breakfast was great and tasted good. This many foreigners, very few Chinese, have a good environment, cleanliness and high cost performance. However, the woman's face at the front desk was stinky at the front desk, and she owed her money. There was no elevator, and she did not help arrange for the staff to move their luggage upstairs. Fortunately, when I went upstairs, I had a passing foreign friend to help me. Thank you very much. When I checked out, my little brother also helped carry the luggage. It is worth recommending
Payment was made after booking on Ctrip, but the hotel front desk could not confirm whether the charge was deducted due to operational problems and requested a second swipe of the card. It took a long time for communication to be resolved. No one helped with the luggage management service!
What a brilliant place! Fantastic location down an alley so minimal noise from the very loud ‘walking street’. Clean. Nice beds. Great pillows! Private bathroom. TV in room with English channels. Air con and fan plus mini fridge with drinks cheaper than Circle K! Mrs Ha and another lady called Nang both speak good English and have lots of excellent recommendations for tours and places in the city. Very helpful and kind. I have stayed here twice and will come back again! Cannot rate highly enough!
The breakfast is very hygienic and tastes good. Living environment is around Korea Town, Korean cuisine is authentic, and there is a vivocenter nearby. It was very close to the exhibition, and it took 19 minutes to walk once. Exceed my expectations, like
I've stayed at this hotel now for six or seven trips to Ho Chi Minh city. Too small for tour groups, it's blessedly free of the din of many hotel lobbies and breakfast rooms. One steps into calm. The breakfast is not a buffet, but there is a western and VN choice. Take the VN. The pho is excellent--I highly recommend the chicken--as is the fruit that comes with. And of course the caphe sua da, though I think one can also get hot coffee. Some rooms have larger windows and better views. There are little "flaws." I could never get enough hot water. (I think I didn't know how to work the heater.) Faucets, etc. may be a bit out of alignment. Still this is my favorite hotel. Also, very friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to cathedral, even market (maybe 15-20 minutes)
We would like to express great thanks to the hotel staff, especially reception service where we got frendly support, high attention to our requests and good advices. hotel has a very good and covenient facilities, perfect location and amazing window views at the river. We enjoyed our stay in your hotel. Thank you very much! you can see on the photoes wonderful sunrise from the hotel windows
Just coming from the big hotel in Nha Trang is a bit uncomfortable, but after a day I feel pretty good. The breakfast was very good and the taste was good. The hotel has a piano, nothing to play a bomb. Walk to the church, post office, museum, art gallery, etc. from the hotel for a long time. In the afternoon, I walked to the plant animal yard next to me. It was a surprise, a lot of animals, and it was very clean. The animals were very healthy, elephants, giraffes, hippos... It’s quite cheap to eat at the cafe on the left hand side downstairs. Turn right on the right hand side and have a beef noodle in the alleyway. Hotel service is good, we check out at the airport at 2 am, please help the hotel to call a taxi, a few minutes to come, 150000d, very convenient and cost-effective.
The hotel located in the central of Saigon. Convenient to most places. Plenty of good restaurants and bars around the area. The hotel staffs are friendly, helpful and always smiling. Their guidance is clear and even provides customers with a paper map. The service is good. The room is spacious and clean. The only issue is the bathtub designed not so well so beware that water will be everywhere on the floor if you take a long shower.
Really like the hotel location and the staff there. I would rate 4.5/5 for their services.
We didn't expect much for the price. However, we were a little surprised. The hotel is in a quiet location and you have 20min to the center. The English language was a little strange for the staff, but it did it in any way, it was also a little sympathetic. Unfortunately, the room had no window and there was a little ne construction atmosphere. But otherwise it was ok for what you paid. for 1-2 nights not bad.
My sister and I stayed at this quaint little hotel it’s right in the middle of the hustle and the bustle in a great area that suits anyone’s tastes many local bars restaurants and a easy walk to the markets We had a room on the floor 4 th floor looking down on the street below The room was spotless clean king bed great aircon It’s not a big room but it’s all you need as your not here to spend all your time in the room Breakfast is across the little lane way to its sister hotel as well as the pool Breakfast was delicious lots of Choice with friendly staff Binh the manger at urban lodge is a asset to this hotel and made our stay even more enjoyable He was full of information and nothing was too much trouble Each time we returned to the hotel after a day out he greeted as with a smile and was interested in what we had been up too His service was far and beyond.. we would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning again in the future... 😃
We enjoyed our stay at Diamond Luxury. There are some really posh apartments with a similar name 50 yards away, which can be confusing, ironically it is where the breakfast is served which is included in the price. The taxi dropped us off there but its a short walk. The apartments are tucked down a little alley but it meant the apartment was quiet, the family owners are very helpful and friendly. The collection of items on display in reception are quite eccentric-stuffed animals to best China sets and everything inbetween. There's a bottle of whisky and shot glasses, "do you like it?" my wife asked after I had a shot "no" laughed the night porter! Room was good, two beds, kitchen and good bathroom with large shower. Lots of traditional? wood furniture. TV with Netflix etc The old market and centre are within walking distance. The mini bus for the tour to the Cu chi tunnels found the apartment which we were concerned about, we booked the tour at a agency near the market. Breakfast starts at 8am which we thought was relatively late if you have tours booked for the day. Basically the owner walks you to the posh apartment's restaurant, allows you to choose from the menu (all massive Vietnamese options which were more like evening meals!) and he pays for it with the teller. The restaurant and meals were good, we would have preferred a lighter/western option possibly. We planned to take our son to the Buddha theme park, the owner highlighted it was far out of town and suggested another water park closer - which we enjoyed for a few hours. The hotel has a rooftop, with a washing machine and racks for drying. We used a local laundry place but dry a few items we hand washed. Nice view of sunset from the terrace. Would recommend and stay again if in the city.
