|2.65km from city centerThe Parkhotel has a different experience than the website would have made me believe. Let me start with what was certainly top: - The staff. Very friendly and guest-friendly. - The look and feel of the lobby, very nice dressed - The free (and spacious) parking place at the hotel - Breakfast. Very spacious assortment and also very tasty. Unfortunately, there were few points: - The bed in the room (119) had a bad, soft mattress with a hole in the middle. We have been sleeping terriblely. - The Smart TV did not - DVDs available in the lobby are only for people staying in the expensive rooms (there is a DVD player) - The sauna/welness is available in the afternoon and evening (that was not mentioned on the website, I would like to use it in the morning) - The price of the restaurant is high (in the vicinity there are many affordable alternatives) It was good for one time, but the next time we choose elsewhere.

|1.91km from city centerThe rooms are big, clean, breakfast is good, and the waiters are serious and polite, warm and thoughtful. There is a railway station nearby, making it easy to travel. There are shopping malls, it is Christmas, and there are Christmas markets. gorgeous.

|2.31km from city centerThe hotel is ideal for exploring everything around the centre in the upper house. For € 5 you can park the car there. Rooms for 3 people are a little narrow, but we knew it before. Modern bathroom and everything very clean. Breakfast is also perfectly enough. Even a pancake machine for children. Something is bad that the ladies at the reception are very friendly but not familiar in the surroundings (e.g. walking to the Aquapark etc.).

DANKE

|2.68km from city centerWhen we checked in; 1 agent checked us in while the other 2 just stared at us like we were aliens. One of them had a smirk on their face throughout my check-in, I wanted to ask what she thought was so funny with us checking into the hotel but I didn’t want to spoil the evening. They all started laughing when we left the checkin desk. Know that we are non-European. Very unwelcoming and unprofessional. I suggest cultural diversity training.
The beds were disgusting! Small strips of hair all over the fitted sheet. The Most Disgusting was the pee stain on the sheets! The bed smelled like piss too. It was supposed to be non-smoking but someone had been smoking in the room or the insulation/vent systems need more work. I didn’t want to deal with the unprofessional front desk staff so I suffered through the uncleanliness and just put 2 towels on top of the duvet just to feel at ease sleeping, even though we were only there for one night…Thank God I didn’t book for longer.
The only positive was breakfast; it was adequate for 1 night stay. Definitely won’t be spending another dime here.

|2.93km from city centerThe conversion of a department store into a hotel in the very best location is basically a good idea. The (superior) rooms are big enough, individually air-conditioned and functional. Two single beds pushed together, topper on top and the double bed is ready. High sleeping comfort, the rooms facing the inner courtyard are very quiet. The bathroom is large, with enough storage space. Open, floor-level shower. In the room there is a kettle, tea bags, sugar and also a Nespresso machine with 2 capsules each of espresso and decaffeinated. Hair dryer and LED TV (had a loose connection, sound but no picture) as well as shower cosmetics are part of the equipment. Circumstances that spoiled the stay: 1. Cleanliness of the room - the floor was poorly cleaned upon arrival, the medium-sized dead moth under the window was unchanged there even after 4 days. Daily cleaning was more or less limited to the bathroom, but only superficially there. Used glasses and espresso cups simply stayed where they were. On the 4th day there were 2 glasses, 2 empty bottles and 2 used espresso cups clearly visible on the shelf. There is a fully automatic coffee machine in the hotel lobby, use of which is free of charge. However, the machine is so dirty (splashes of milk and coffee) that its use is only recommended for die-hards. 2. Cosmetics The shower gel in the shower was already empty upon arrival, we put the bottle from the sink into the shower (the hint was misunderstood). There were also 2 tubes of hand cream, no body lotion, etc. 3. Breakfast The guests sit in what used to be the shop window front, almost directly on the sidewalk. During the 4 days the hotel was obviously well frequented, at times there were no plates, coffee cups or cutlery, let alone a free table. Even in the reception area, at the bar and in the lobby, guests sat and stood to have breakfast. The tables could hardly be cleaned by the few staff. The textile upholstered chairs should only be touched with gloves. This is just disgusting. Used crockery was stacked on trolleys by the staff and eventually wheeled into the kitchen. Noise level extremely high, but not the quality of the food. Jam, honey, etc. individually wrapped. Hygienically the best solution. Overall, we felt like we were back in our student days - absolute canteen feeling. The battle at the cold buffet. 4. Payment Accommodation and parking costs had to be paid at check-in. The connected car park is public, the hotel cannot influence whether a parking space is actually available. Is perhaps all whining on a high level, but the regular € 112 for 1 night € 24 for breakfast is the benchmark. And here the relationship is simply not right. Perhaps a hint would have helped. But we don't see it as a duty of paying guests, o

|5.46km from city centerI cannot fault this hotel. Everything was superb. We arrived from the overnight ferry to Hook of Holland. This place was perfectly positioned a couple of hours from the port for an overnight stay before exploring Germany. The car park was spotless. The reception staff were professional and very welcoming. All the hotel was very clean and airy. A lovely atmosphere. The room was very well appointed and, again, spotless. There was a lot of attention to detail: providing flannels, shower basket to hold our toiletries, movement sensor lights under the bedside cabinets, in the hallway, and in the bathroom perfectly dim so just enough light to get to the bathroom at night without having to fumble for switches, to avoid waking up the other occupant. Bedside light switches on the front of the bedside cabinet so you don’t have to be a contortionist to operate them. The breakfast was exceptional. Huge variety of hams, cheeses, breads, yogurts, and freshly cooked eggs which were perfectly cooked and a beautiful orange/yellow colour showing good quality. To top it off there was a tea station with numerous choices of leaf tea to self serve into teapots. They even supply specialist sugar to go with it! Eg unrefined sugar crystals. We loved it so much, we decided to stay another night and explore the delightful town. Not much there but lovely boulevards to walk down. We will come back here on our next trip to Europe.

|1.81km from city centerThis is building with few apartments and with no reception, so this is not a hotel (name on google maps may be misleading). We rented a 3-bedroom apartment for 2 nights - spacious, modernly furnished, well-equipped kitchen with household appliances (nothing was really missing). One main bathroom and additionally a second toilet. Ample parking at the back of the building. A few minuses - we arrived late at night and the whole apartment was cold because the heating was turned off (good we all packed long sleeves pijamas). I confirm the opinions that the mattresses are soft, so not necessarily good for everyone. For such a large apartment and the number of guests it can accommodate, I missed a larger sofa / more seats in the living room, in the living area by the coffee table.
